A SummerSlam development after SmackDown.
The latest episode of the Blue Branded show featured a fatal four-way main event among Trick Williams, Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Royce Keys. Balor won this match to earn the right to face Sami Zayn in a WWE Championship #1 contender match at the upcoming PPV.
All other competitors left after the show went off air, but Williams remained at ringside. As he was greeting the fans, Baron Corbin came out of nowhere and attacked the reigning US Champion.
After sending him crashing into the steel steps, the Lone Wolf put Trick into the ring and started walking away. Williams refused to stay down, however, and he grabbed a mic.
The former NXT Champion explained that where he is from, you fight like a real man by looking your opponent in the face, and Trick Williams then challenged Corbin to a US title match at SummerSlam.
This was the third match that was made official for the upcoming PPV during the night. You can check out the updated card for the event here.
