Wren Sinclair has been suspended.

Tonight’s episode of NXT featured Kelani Jordan defending her NXT Women’s Title against Jaida Parker in the opening match of the night. Jordan managed to retain her title with a split-legged moonsault after a physical match.

Though she didn’t get to celebrate for too long, as Wren Sinclair hit the ring after the bell and started beating Kelani down. When the referee Victoria D’Errico tried to break things up, Sinclair hit her in the face as well.

Wren then grabbed a kendo stick from under the ring and delivered multiple brutal blows to the Women’s Champion until a number of officials showed up to get things under control.

Wren Sinclair Suspended

NXT GM Robert Stone later confronted the female star over her actions in a backstage segment. Stone said that Wren had left him with no choice, announcing that he was suspending Sinclair:

Wren’s attack came after Kelani Jordan put her partner and former NXT Women’s Champion, Kendal Grey on the shelf by attacking her injured ear during their NXT Heatwave match.

Stone has not announced a duration for Sinclair’s suspension, but it’s unlikely that she will be off TV for too long.
