AEW Dynamite airs tonight (Wednesday, September 16, 2026) from Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, live on TBS and HBO Max starting at 8 PM ET.
World Champion Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley share a ring tonight for the first time since their All Out title match became official, on opposite sides of a trios match. AEW added an eight-man tag and Jamie Hayter vs. Lena Kross on Tuesday, joining Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne. Here’s the full card, start times, and how to watch.
AEW Dynamite Match Card for September 16, 2026
Here are the matches announced for tonight’s show:
Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, and Francesco Akira vs. Jon Moxley, PAC, and Gabe Kidd (Trios Match)
Ten days before Ospreay defends the AEW World Championship against Moxley at All Out, his United Empire trio meets the Death Riders. Ospreay won the title from Kenny Omega at All In, while Moxley enters as the AEW Continental Champion. AEW National Champion Andrade is on Ospreay’s side.
Last week on Dynamite, Ospreay told Moxley backstage that he personally asked for the All Out match, noting Moxley is the only man to pin him in 2026. He also laid out the terms: the rest of the Death Riders can be at ringside, and the match carries a 60-minute time limit. PAC used the same segment to warn Moxley that Ospreay can’t be trusted.
The stakes run past the main event, too. Andrade won the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In and holds a future world title shot of his own. Kidd, meanwhile, tried to hit Ospreay with a steel chair after the September 2 Dynamite main event before Moxley stepped in and took it from him.
Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin, and Steven Borden vs. FTR, Kyle Fletcher, and Kevin Knight (Eight-Man Tag Team Match)
This match traces straight back to last week’s Tables Match. FTR ran in to help Fletcher and Knight beat The Young Bucks, then joined the Don Callis Family pair in attacking Matt and Nick Jackson after the bell until Allin and Borden ran out with weapons to make the save.
Copeland and Cage defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against FTR and The Young Bucks at All Out, in a three-way match Copeland said will include tables, ladders, and chairs. Allin, the TNT Champion, took that title from Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere match at All In.
Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne
Jericho and Wayne both worked the Casino Gauntlet at All In after Jericho added himself to the match, and their issue has escalated since. Wayne confronted Jericho backstage before things turned physical.
Jericho answered by ambushing Wayne after Wayne’s win over Komander on Collision, dropping him with a Judas Effect. Tonight they settle it in a sanctioned singles match.
Jamie Hayter vs. Lena Kross
Tony Khan announced this one on Tuesday. The Brawling Birds, Hayter and Alex Windsor, won the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship from Kross and Megan Bayne of Divine Dominion at All In, and the two teams run it back in a Chicago Street Fight at All Out.
In his announcement on X, Khan wrote that Kross aims to “take out Hayter before Chicago.”
Road to AEW All Out 2026
AEW All Out 2026 takes place Saturday, September 26 at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Tonight is the second-to-last Dynamite before the pay-per-view, and all three announced All Out title matches have participants in action. WWE’s Worlds Collide runs the same night in the Chicago area at the same 8 PM ET start, a time WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported WWE picked on purpose.
