AEW returns to Arena Mexico for its second Grand Slam special co-promoted with CMLL, and eight matches are already announced. Two titles are on the line, Hangman Adam Page wrestles his first AEW match since returning, and Will Ospreay meets Mark Davis in a Mexico City Street Fight 25 days before he challenges for the AEW World Championship at All In. AEW Grand Slam Mexico Match Card for August 5, 2026
Here are the matches announced for tonight’s show:
Mark Davis vs. Will Ospreay (Mexico City Street Fight, No Outside Interference)
Davis issued the original challenge on Dynamite after dropping the AEW National Championship to Andrade El Idolo at Redemption, promising a straight one-on-one with the Don Callis Family kept out of it. That lasted until Collision on July 30, when Davis jumped Ospreay after the main event and RPG Vice joined in.
Ospreay fought all three off, grabbed a mic and asked for the street fight instead. Tony Schiavone confirmed the rules on commentary. The former United Empire partners are 1-1 in 2026.
The Demand (c) vs. Hangman Adam Page & Brodido (AEW World Trios Championship)
Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona defend the trios titles they took off The Conglomeration. Page teams with Bandido and Brody King in what is his first match back, and he went out of his way to offer Ospreay support on Dynamite after Ospreay’s split from the Death Riders.
Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mike Bailey (AEW International Championship)
Fletcher defends against Speedball Mike Bailey with the Don Callis Family already showing cracks following Fletcher’s recent loss in six-man action. Bailey gets his shot on the biggest lucha stage AEW runs.
Willow Nightingale & The Brawling Birds vs. Mercedes Mone & Divine Dominion (Trios Match)
AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale brings Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor to face Mone and women’s tag champions Megan Bayne and Lena Kross. Mone and Divine Dominion interrupted Nightingale’s title celebration on Dynamite to set this up.
Persephone vs. Kris Statlander (Non-Title)
CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone has this one listed without the title at stake. Statlander cost Persephone her TBS Championship challenge against Maya World last week by ripping a kendo stick away from her at ringside. SEScoops covered the matchup when it was first announced.
Mistico, Chris Jericho & Darby Allin vs. Don Callis Family (Trios Match)
TNT Champion Kevin Knight called out any three former champions to face him and two Don Callis Family stablemates. Mistico, Jericho and Allin answered. Knight teams with Kazuchika Okada and Hechicero.
Cage & Cope and The Young Bucks vs. Death Riders (Eight-Man Tag)
AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage make their Arena Mexico debuts, teaming with Matt and Nick Jackson in an alliance nobody expects to hold. The Young Bucks challenge them for the tag titles at All In. Jon Moxley, PAC, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia are on the other side, coming off an eight-man loss to the Bang Bang Gang on Collision. This was announced alongside the Casino Gauntlet qualifier last week.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Komander (No. 1 Spot in the All In Casino Gauntlet)
The winner gets the first entry in the Casino Gauntlet at All In. National Champion Andrade returns to Mexico City with the belt he took off Davis at Redemption. The three-way is non-title.
Road to AEW All In: London 2026
AEW All In: London takes place Sunday, August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Tonight is the last major stop before Wembley. Ospreay’s world title challenge to Kenny Omega, the Copeland and Cage versus Young Bucks program, and the Casino Gauntlet field all get moved forward here, while the Continental Cup tournament runs in parallel on Collision with Moxley’s title at the end of it.
