The latest on Anna Jay.
It was reported last year that the AEW original’s deal with the company was going to expire sometime in spring of 2026. With the female star having not wrestled for the company since the June 6 episode of Collision this year, her status had been in question.
Many fans took her boyfriend Jack Perry inking a new deal with AEW this month as a positive sign for Jay’s AEW future, but there had still been no official update on her status.
Anna Jay Has Extended AEW Contract
This changed when Tony Khan was asked about the former Dark Order member during the Redemption 2026 media call. The AEW President confirmed that Anna Jay has signed a contract extension with the company, and she is out of action because of an injury:
Anna is in very good standing with us. Anna is out injured right now. I was hoping to book her in recent weeks and she has an injury. Last week, she was going for an MRI. She is in good standing and has a lot of time left, she’s extended her contract with AEW. She is going to be staying in AEW,
