Watch: Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and UFC’s Tom Aspinall Share Stage on WWE Manchester

0

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall all got to share the same stage at the most recent WWE Live Event.

WWE has been on a UK tour and their latest live event came from Manchester England. The American Nightmare came out during a segment in the show and stated that he had something to say.

Rhodes would then bring out Aspinall who hails from Manchester itself. Before they could continue however, Gunther interrupted the duo and we had the rare sight of seeing all three world champions under the TKO umbrella in one ring.

The trio would talk about the Crown Jewel PPV on November 2 before Chad Gable interrupted their segment and challenged the Ring General for a world heavyweight championship match.

As expected, Gunther would go on to beat the former Alpha Academy leader with a powerbomb in the match that took place right before the intermission.

Cody Rhodes Defeats Solo Sikoa

Cody Rhodes would have a title defense of his own against Solo Sikoa later in the main event. He took several crazy bumps during this cage match but ultimately retained his title against The Bloodline leader.

WWE has announced that Gunther and Cody Rhodes would be facing each other in a champion vs. champion match at the upcoming Saudi PPV.

Women’s Champions Nia Jax and Liv Morgan will also be going up against each other on the same show with the winner of these matches receiving the ‘Crown Jewel Championship’ as reward.

Jon Moxley Warns Roster “You Work For Me Now” After World Title Win

0

At AEW WrestleDream, Jon Moxley captured the AEW World Championship from Bryan Danielson, bringing an end to the American Dragon’s full-time in-ring career. On this week’s Dynamite, Moxley made his first comments as the new AEW World Champion and laid out his intense vision for the All-Elite promotion.

In a video segment, Moxley spoke of wanting others to have the same opportunity that he’s had in wrestling, something he thinks hasn’t been the case in AEW as of late. Moxley spoke of the company’s massive roster, which includes “150 dudes on the roster with their junk in their hands.”

“I hate what AEW has become. Egos out of control. Celebrating, when there’s no need to celebrate and dancing and partying when there’s no need for dancing and partying! I cannot stand it anymore!”

Adding that he’s not sentimental, Moxley vowed to “burn down the forest to plant a new one” and that he and his allies will make a better future happen no matter what it takes. Moxley added that those in AEW can either join his group or run for the hills, before ending on this chilling message.

“For those in AEW, what’s the need to know? What is the new paradigm? It’s very simple: You work for me now.”

The video ends with a shot of Wheeler Yuta, who betrayed Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream to align himself with Jon Moxley. Later in the show, Moxley and his group attacked the Conglomeration and focused their beatdown on Orange Cassidy. It remains to be seen who will stand against Moxley and his allies and who will fall in line, as the new AEW World Champion doesn’t plan on taking any prisoners in his war with AEW.

Brock Lesnar’s Creative Status In WWE Has Not Changed (Report)

0

Brock Lesnar’s status with WWE has not changed despite recent rumors of his return at least on the creative front.

The talk of the former Universal Champion potentially returning to TV picked up again when he was referenced by both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

The possibility has been denied by the company on a high level according to a new report from Fightful Select however, and a source told them ‘There are no creative plans in place for Lesnar, and if conversations have occurred, we’ve not been briefed on that.’

Despite Triple H suggesting that it would be up Brock himself to make the decision, the report says that creative haven’t heard any updates regarding him in months. They’d be surprised if Lesnar is brought back in the middle of a federal investigation.

Regarding references to The Beast Incarnate being dropped on WWE programming, it was noted that people had been instructed to avoid mentioning the former champion in the last number of months. People close to Rhodes have not heard about any change.

Brock Lesnar was booked for Royal Rumble this year and he was supposed to be involved in a program with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther leading up to WrestleMania 40.

The plans were canceled when the former UFC star was referenced in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and Lesnar’s name was effectively banned from the company after that.

The officials even went to great lengths to minimize the inclusion of Lesnar from the already complete WWE 2K24 video game and removed him from covers and other promotional materials.

Lexis King Calls WWE HOF Induction For Brian Pillman All He’s Ever Wanted

0

The late, great Brian Pillman had a notable career both in and outside WWE, filled with championship title wins and memorable moments. Despite this, Pillman has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but his son Lexis King hopes that changes soon enough.

In WWE, King has opted not to use his real name of Brian Pillman Jr., as he hopes to forge a legacy for himself separate to the ‘Loose Cannon.’ Speaking as Pillman Jr. on Twitter though, the WWE NXT Superstar said that an induction for his father into the WWE Hall of Fame is all he has ever wanted.

King has quite the dream about seeing his father inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and if it happens, it won’t be his first dream that comes true. In July of this year, King celebrated having his first WWE action figure released as part of a line that also included his father.

Whether Brian Pillman becomes a WWE Hall of Famer, that will be up to Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and the Game’s creative team. With his legendary career, there’s countless fans who are behind the idea, and Lexis King is ready to lead the campaign for a posthumous induction for his father.

Tiffany Stratton Rejects Fan’s Marriage Proposal At WWE Event

0

Tiffany Stratton has had an impressive 2024 so far, continuing to make strides in her pro wrestling career. At a recent WWE house show in Cardiff, Wales, she had the opportunity to achieve a personal goal—though it came at the expense of a fan’s hopes.

During the show, Stratton participated in a match alongside Naomi. As she made her way to the ring, a fan in the audience held up a sign with a big question: a marriage proposal. As seen in the clip below, Stratton noticed the sign while walking down the entrance ramp.

A Heel’s Response

In true heel fashion, Stratton tore the fan’s sign apart and, without hesitation, informed him that she has a boyfriend. The WWE star is currently dating fellow wrestler Ludwig Kaiser, further driving home the point as she crushed the fan’s dream.

Stratton’s rise in WWE has been marked by major milestones, including her victory in the 2024 Money in the Bank ladder match. Since then, she has aligned herself with Women’s Champion Nia Jax. In recent months, Stratton has teased cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Jax, heightening tension within her ongoing feud with Bayley.

At the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Stratton had another chance to cash in when a referee bump occurred during Jax’s match with Bayley. However, Jax quickly caught on to Stratton’s plan, causing Stratton to reconsider. In the end, Jax retained her title, defeating Bayley while Stratton bided her time for a future opportunity.

Get To Know DELTA, WWE NXT’s ‘Next Big Thing’

0

DELTA has officially signed with WWE and is set to make her debut on NXT later this month at Halloween Havoc on October 27. Now, with vignettes airing on NXT to hype her arrival, all eyes are on what the Australian powerhouse will bring to WWE’s developmental brand.

DELTA first caught WWE’s attention during their tryouts in February, held during Elimination Chamber week in Perth. After making a strong impression, she was given the opportunity to complete her scheduled matches in Australia before fully transitioning to WWE.

WWE Superstars are taking notice of DELTA’s pending arrival, with fellow Aussie Rhea Ripley naming her as someone she wants to work with.

Like many new signings, DELTA will start her WWE journey in NXT, where the women’s division continues to thrive. Her signing comes on the heels of WWE securing other top-tier talents, including Stephanie Vaquer and reports of a deal with Giulia. This trio ushers in a new era for the brand’s women’s division, and creates countless fresh match-ups with the likes of NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and North American Champion Kelani Jordan.

Who Is DELTA?

DELTA began her wrestling career in 2019, inspired by her older brother and fellow wrestler, Dean. Her in-ring debut came on December 31, 2020, when the siblings teamed up to defeat Cyden Cornell and Savannah Summers at Riot City Wrestling (RCW).

From there, DELTA’s star continued to rise. She debuted in Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) in 2021 and quickly made her mark, capturing the RCW Tag Team Championships. She later secured the MCW Women’s Championship twice and became the first woman to hold both the MCW Intercommonwealth Title and the RCW Championship—breaking new ground in the process.

After her WWE tryout in February, DELTA challenged Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Oceania Pro Wrestling’s H.E.R. event in April. OPW kindly shared this match in its entirety, embedded below.

In July, she had an emotional farewell match in Australia, defeating her brother at RCW’s Heavy Is The Crown. DELTA now looks forward to the next stage of her career with WWE.

With vignettes already building anticipation for her debut, NXT Halloween Havoc is shaping up to be a can’t-miss event. WWE fans should be excited, but the rest of the women’s roster might want to spend extra time at the Performance Center and sharping their skills.

Jelly Roll Explains Why WWE Is Doing Better Than Ever

0

Jelly Roll believes WWE’s doing better than ever because they’re able to serve two masters at once.

The American Singer is a noted wrestling fan who has talked about his love for the business many times. He even made an appearance for WWE at SummerSlam 2023.

While appearing on Logan Paul’s Implaulsive podcast, the topic of wrestling was naturally brought up. The Grammy-nominated artist said that he’s truly a fan and explained that their storytelling is the best it’s ever been:

“Dude, I’m truly a fan, and I think the storytelling right now is probably the best it’s been in a long time—I think it’s the Best it’s been since the Cena era. And to see Cena coming back around, you know what I mean.

I think before that, it was the Attitude Era almost. It’s like I think we’re seeing; I would say wrestling’s bigger than it’s ever been right now. So it’s really fun.”

Austin Theory Reveals Viral Jelly Roll Moment Was His Idea

They’re Doing The Best They’ve Ever Done: Jelly Roll

The rap star went into depth to explain why the company is breaking record after record. He said that they’re able to keep people interested in a world of fast-paced storytelling while unfolding meaningful long-term stories at the same time:

“They are finding a way, the WWE to serve two masters: They’re serving that they’re keeping people engaged every single week and they’re keeping it fast cause the times need fast stories, but they’re also allowing bigger stories to develop over longer periods of times.

Watching The Bloodline develop over 36 months, for taking 3 WrestleManias for Cody to finish his story. But they kept us so engaged that we almost had forgot that we had been watching these big storylines play out. Cause they were giving us these fast nuggets that we needed for Instagram and TikTok too. So I think they’re doing the best they’ve ever done.”

Logan Paul also talked about a potential return to WWE during the same episode and he teased going up against a Bloodline member very soon.

Ethan Page Comments On Becoming #1 Contender for NXT title

0

Former NXT Champion Ethan Page has vowed to reclaim the coveted title after earning a title shot. On this week’s WWE NXT, Page defeated Je’Von Evans and Wes Lee in a triple threat match to earn a rematch at the brand’s top prize. In the final moments of the match, Evans tried to score the pinfall victory on Lee after hitting his Spinning Corkscrew Splash. However, Page snuck in a win by inning Evans with a roll-up.

Ethan Page vs. Trick Williams for the NXT Championship is now signed for NXT Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 27. Since it’s a heated feud and a Halloween-themed show, the match will be held under Devil’s Playground rules (explained below).

The Devil is Real

Page was in a great mood after climbing his way back to the top of the mountain. He’s determined to hold the NXT Championship once more, and dropped a quote from none other than CM Punk to make his point.

“Number one contender, huh? Not too fond of that. Everyone else in this locker room would die to be called number one contender. Not me. I was so used to being called champ or the champ or champion. Face of the brand, even. Hell, I was walking around saying ‘Era of Ego’ and ‘NX-Me.’

“I plan on bringing all of those back to the repertoire, and it will happen. It’ll happen right after Devil’s Playground at Halloween Havoc. Some jackass once said, ‘The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making you believe he didn’t exist.’ Tonight, I think I made Trick a believer. I promise you, the devil is real.”

Devil’s Playground Match

Devil’s Playground is a pro wrestling stipulation that can best be described as, anything goes. Think no-holds-barred, hardcore warfare:

  • No disqualifications: Weapons and outside interference allowed
  • No count-outs: Falls count anywhere
  • One fall to the finish: Pin, submission or referee stoppage

Ethan Page & Trick Williams’ Rivalry

Trick Williams and Ethan Page have clashed multiple times in the past. Previously ‘All Ego’ had dethroned Williams at NXT Heatwave. Page had successfully defended his title against the likes of Dante Chen, Oro Mensah, and TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry during his reign. Page dropped the title to Williams earlier this month on the NXT on the CW premiere. Now, these two will clash one more time at NXT’s spookiest night of the year.

Kevin Owens Gives WWE Ultimatum To Share His Side of Story

0

WWE continues to push the boundaries of social media storytelling in the ongoing Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes feud with a new video from the former Universal Champion.

Owens posted the video on his Twitter account, mentioning that there have been a lot of questions about why he turned on Cody Rhodes after the Bad Blood PPV.

The former champion noted that people are judging him because of the attack. He blamed the company for not letting him tell his side of the story by cutting off his mic during his appearance on Friday’s SmackDown.

Kevin Owens then revealed that he even sent the company a video to explain his actions. He was hoping that the footage could air on Raw this past Monday and he is now giving them until Friday to do the right thing:

“Then over the weekend, I sent them a video that I hoped they would air on Raw last night, and they didn’t. Nobody could hear what I have to say. But of course, they had plenty of time for Cody to talk, but not for me. Look, the last thing I want to do is do this on social media because I hate it.

I’m giving them until Friday, this Friday on Smackdown, to air my video so that people could hear what I have to say. And if they don’t, then I guess I’ll post it here.”

The latest episode of SmackDown saw Kevin Owens interrupting the show before the scheduled Women’s Tag Team Title match. He tried to address the crowd but his mic was shut down. Cody Rhodes came out to confront him after that but the security stopped the WWE champion from reaching Owens.

When Randy Orton showed up to calm Kevin down, the latter ended up shoving The Viper accidentally. Orton then responded with a punch to his face.

Cody Rhodes was told to leave the arena after this and Randy looked to sort things out with his tag team partner. Orton, however, was also attacked by the former NXT Champion backstage later in the show.

Powerhouse Hobbs Confirms Health Status

0

Powerhouse Hobbs has confirmed the reports about him being cleared for action after his knee injury earlier this year. The heavyweight star was last seen wrestling Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. The match took place on the April 24, 2024 episode of Dynamite. Hobbs not only lost the bout but also ended up sustaining the knee injury that has kept him out of action ever since.

During a recent conversation with In The Kliq, the 33-year-old confirmed previous reports about his status and announced that he has already been cleared to compete:

Ruptured my patellar tendon. A pretty gruesome injury. Me being me, I’ve been cleared. Healed up pretty fast. Got that Wolverine serum in me a little bit. I’m cleared. I’m back. It’s already been put out in the internet world that I’m cleared. Time to pick up where I left off,”

– Powerhouse Hobbs

With the unfortunate injury now behind him, the question of Powerhouse Hobbs’ return relies solely on the creative team coming up with something for the former TNT Champion to do.

The wew AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has been running rough shots in the company recently. Hobbs could seek retribution from Mox for injuring him and try to stop the momentum of the world champion in the process.

There is also the possibility of him getting involved with MVP’s Hurt Syndicate. The AEW star would make for a perfect friend or foe for Bobby Lashley who is expected to make his debut for Tony Khan’s promotion very soon.

Logan Paul Says He’ll Be Wrestling Bloodline Member ‘Very Soon’

0

Logan Paul is not only teasing a return to WWE but he is also suggesting that his next opponent might be the most unpredictable one yet.

The ever-controversial star has not been seen on WWE programming since he dropped the US Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024 on August 3. The loss marked the end of his 273-day-long reign with the belt.

The YouTube star talked about a potential return to the company during the most recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast. He was giving his thoughts on Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu, and said that he might be wrestling the former MLW star very soon:

“Very clear rising star. He’s one of the only guys who really stands out to me. I think everyone else sees it. While I recognize his greatness, part of me also thinks, he’s on my list.

I will be wrestling him in the near future and we’re going to be going at it. I sort of see him as competition. I promise you; we’re going to go fucking crazy. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but it’s inevitable.”

– Logan Paul on an “inevitable” match against Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline

Jacob Fatu signed with WWE in April this year and made his debut for the Endeavor-owned promotion in June. Fatu has competed in a number of tag team matches since his debut. He even won the World Tag Championships for The Bloodline, while teaming with Tama Tonga during the August 2 SmackDown.

The Samoan Werewolf has not made his singles debut for the promotion yet, however, and a high-profile match against someone like Logan Paul would definitely make for an intriguing competition.

WWE’s Saudi shows are known for their big matches so the November 2 Crown Jewel PPV would make the perfect stage for this match.

Jordynne Grace is set to become a free agent earlier than first thought and it opens up the possibility for some very exciting developments for the female star’s career.

The Knockouts Champion signed a 2-year deal with her current employers when she returned to the company in August 2023.

This meant that Grace’s contract would have expired sometime in the Summer of 2025 but Fightful Select is now reporting that the current champion had her deal amended at some point and it now expires in January 2025.

The 28-year-old is not the only one whose deal is coming to an end at the time and her husband, Jonathan Gresham’s deal will reportedly also conclude around the same time.

What’s Next For Jordynne Grace

While the exact date when Jordynne Grace’s contract expires is unknown, the January timeline will make it possible for her to make an appearance at the 2025 Royal Rumble event set for February 1 this time.

Grace has been a featured star on NXT in their extended partnership with TNA Wrestling and Gresham has also said to have made a good impression with WWE officials in the past.

This is not to say that Tony Khan or All Elite Wrestling would not be an interested party. Especially as WWE beat them to signing Stephanie Vaquer after her Forbidden Door 2023 match, the competing promotion would definitely be interested in further strengthening their female roster by bringing in a star such as Grace.

Stephanie Vaquer Wins NXT Debut, Setting Up Halloween Havoc Match

0

On a night that marked Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE NXT in-ring debut, she also set the stage for a major tag team match later this month. During this week’s episode of NXT, Vaquer scored a quick victory over Wren Sinclair, finishing the match with her signature move.

However, following the bout, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade launched a surprise attack on Vaquer, only for Giulia to rush out and make the save. The confrontation escalated when Giulia challenged Perez and Jade to a tag team match at Halloween Havoc, which will take place at the GIANT Center in Hershey, PA, on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

The challenge followed Jade’s recent interference in Giulia’s attempt to win the NXT Women’s Championship from Perez.

Vaquer’s NXT debut had been highly anticipated after she made waves earlier this year. She first garnered WWE’s attention when she dropped the NJPW Strong Women’s Title to Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door in June.

Vaquer then participated in WWE house shows in Mexico this past July, solidifying her status as a top prospect in the company.

Later in the show, the match was made official:

Rosa recently revealed that her absence was due to a concussion, addressing speculation that suggested other reasons. Now fully recovered, the former AEW Women’s Champion expressed her readiness to step back into the ring.

Rosa confirmed her medical clearance during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, where she also expressed her gratitude to the AEW medical team for their support throughout her recovery.

Back in action

Rosa should be back in the mix on Dynamite and Collision soon.

Special AEW Dynamite Theme Revealed By Trademark Filing

0

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has filed two new trademarks, hinting at an upcoming special edition of its Dynamite show. On October 15th, AEW submitted trademarks for “Fright Night Dynamite” and “AEW Fright Night Dynamite” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, indicating plans for a Halloween-themed broadcast.

The trademarks are registered for entertainment purposes, with the description reading as follows:

“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.”

AEW is known for producing special holiday-themed episodes of Dynamite, and with Halloween falling on a Thursday this year, it seems likely that this will be the focus of an upcoming show. As of this writing, AEW has not officially confirmed the Fright Night Dynamite special, but an announcement could be imminent.

This week’s episode of Dynamite promises an action-packed card, following the recent WrestleDream event. Stay tuned for more updates, including the full match lineup.

Joe Koff, Former ROH COO, Has Passed Away

0

The wrestling world is in mourning after the passing of former Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff. In August, he made the decision to discontinue treatment in order to enhance the quality of time he had left with his family. Mike Johnson of PW Insider reports that Koff had been privately battling cancer for some time. On behalf of SEScoops, we express our deepest condolences to Joe Koff’s family and friends.

Joe Koff Remembered

Koff became Senior VP of Training and Development for Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2003, and became ROH’s COO when the company was purchased by Sinclair in 2011. As COO, Koff oversaw several major developments, including announcing a streaming service for the promotion in November 2017. The service, later named Honor Club, was unveiled on February 2, 2018, and launch on February 19.

While Koff joined ROH as part of the Sinclair deal, his involvement in the wrestling world was not merely business. A lifelong fan, Koff attended WWWF events with his father in the original Madison Square Garden. Decades later, it’d be the efforts of Koff and others that would bring ROH to the World’s Most Famous Arena for the G1 Supercard in April 2019. The show became the first non-WWE entity to run the arena in decades, a claim that stands to this day.

Koff’s time with ROH came to an end in 2022 when the promotion changed hands and was acquired by Tony Khan, but his love of wrestling continued long after that.

Brock Lesnar WWE Return: RAW Teases, Vince McMahon Lawsuit and more

The wrestling world has been abuzz with speculation about Brock Lesnar’s potential return to WWE amid recent controversies and cryptic teases on RAW. This article delves into the latest developments surrounding the Beast Incarnate’s status with the company, the impact of the Vince McMahon lawsuit, and what fans can expect moving forward.

Recent RAW Teases

WWE has been dropping subtle hints about Lesnar’s possible comeback on recent episodes of Monday Night RAW. While the company has not explicitly mentioned Lesnar by name, several segments have featured references that longtime fans associate with the former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins both alluded to Brock during the Monday, October 14th 2024 episode of RAW, and fans did not miss it:

Impact of the Vince McMahon Lawsuit

The recent lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon has cast a shadow over Brock Lesnar’s WWE future. While Lesnar is not explicitly named in the legal documents, the allegations have implications for his status with the company.

Allegations and Implications

The lawsuit, filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, alleges that McMahon shared explicit content with a “former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE talent” in 2021. This description has led many to speculate about Lesnar’s potential involvement, and he was named during the Netflix series Mr McMahon.

Triple H’s Recent Comments

Despite the initial reaction, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has recently provided insight into Lesnar’s status with the company.

“Not Gone from WWE”

Following Night 1 of WrestleMania 40, Triple H stated that Brock Lesnar is “not gone from WWE” and is simply “home being Brock”. This comment suggests that the door remains open for Lesnar’s return, contrary to earlier speculation.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill’s Open Challenge: ‘Any Brand, Any Time’

0

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are brimming with confidence and they want challengers to step up.

Belair and Cargill had reclaimed the tag team titles at WWE Bash In Berlin after defeating The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn). Since then they have defended their titles against the likes of former champs, The Unholy Union and Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend). Last night on WWE Raw, they defeated Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) after Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson interfered.

Speaking on Raw Talk after Monday’s WWE Raw, Belair and Cargill were asked about Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson sticking their nose in their match.

Bianca Belair: “Listen, they came to SmackDown, and they put up a good fight, they really should have been proud of themselves. They did, but instead of going back to NXT and working on their skills and getting stronger and faster, they decided to to show up to Raw tonight and get in our business?”

Jade Cargill: “[They] embarrassed themselves if you asked me. They made enemies tonight out of IYO and Kairi. Out of everybody, why would you do that? But I love that for this tag team division.”

Belair: “I do. You know what, I love the confidence, I have to say that. But they’re making enemies. But you know what, it’s making this whole tag team division interesting.”

Cargill: “That’s what we were trying to do from the beginning. But these are our belts.”

Belair: “It is, but I love competition, so this is fun for me.”

Cargill: “We love competition. Like we said, Raw, SmackDown, NXT, come get it. We welcome it. Come apply, baby.”

Belair: “Everybody wants our titles.

Cargill: “Yes. Come to SmackDown and get that smack down.”

Belair: “Whoever want it. Raw, NXT, SmackDown.”

Damage CTRL recently became the latest challengers who were unsuccessful in dethroning Cargill and Belair. The final moments of the match saw the IYO SKY getting in a verbal spat with Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend who were ringside. Jackson pulled back her hair and Legend hit a big elbow to her face. When SKY got back inside the ring, Belair hit the KOD to get the pinfall victory.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have become one of the dominant tag teams in the women’s division. They have been thriving as the champs and are on an unstoppable title reign. They have had quite the run as a tag team despite the pairing was not in the plans.
