Aleister Black Reveals Scrapped 2021 WWE Plans With Zelina Vega

0

Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are finally an on-screen alliance in WWE, but this partnership almost happened four years ago. In a new interview with The Takedown on SI, Black revealed that WWE had plans for the real-life couple to unite on television just before his release in the summer of 2021.

Black stated that the company was already preparing creative materials for the pairing. “We started shooting little vignettes for it, and we started creating outfits for it,” Black said. He also revealed a surprising origin for his early AEW aesthetic, noting it was repurposed from this scrapped WWE angle.

“That first mask that I ever wore when I worked with [AEW] was actually one of the masks that was utilized,” Black said. “If you remember the Dark Father character that was at the end of my initial run [with WWE], that would eventually see my wife joining me… that was one of the pitches”.

This was a significant change from Black’s previous stance. He noted that years ago, during a radio interview with Cincinnati’s ESPN1530, he was confident he and Vega would never be paired on WWE programming. However, the “aesthetic of them together caught the eye of upper management”.

Those plans were ultimately dropped when Black departed the company in 2021. Upon his return this past spring, the conversation started again, though it took time to get approval. Now that the alliance is official, Black and Vega are feuding with Damian Priest, who returned last week on SmackDown to cost Black a United States Championship match.

Major Plan For Survivor Series Involving John Cena’s Retirement Match

0

A significant storyline involving John Cena’s retirement was reportedly planned for Survivor Series just weeks ago, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The plan would see Cena capture the Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio at the November pay-per-view before defending it against GUNTHER in what would be Cena’s retirement match.

Dave Meltzer noted that Dominik Mysterio is the favorite to retain his title this weekend Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, specifically to preserve this Survivor Series angle. “Mysterio would be the favorite given there was the plan a few weeks ago of John Cena winning that title from Mysterio at Survivor Series and defending against Gunther in his retirement match,” Meltzer wrote.

The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line at Saturday Night’s Main Event in a Triple Threat match, with Mysterio defending against Penta and Rusev. The event takes place in Salt Lake City and streams exclusively on Peacock.

Survivor Series: WarGames is scheduled for November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The event will mark John Cena’s final appearance at a Survivor Series event as an in-ring performer. No matches have been officially announced for the show, other than at least one War Games match.

John Cena and Dominik Mysterio

John Cena has repeatedly shown a deep respect for Dominik Mysterio’s talent and potential, especially in recent interviews. On the April 21, 2025 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Cena praised Dominik as someone who was “born for this,” saying he “makes everything effortless and doesn’t crack under pressure.” Cena emphasized that Dominik has excelled in every challenge WWE has thrown at him and predicted a bright future: “We aren’t even close to what that kid’s capable of… He will be the most famous Mysterio in professional wrestling”

Cena’s comments reflect genuine admiration and set up Dominik as both a credible rival and potential torch-bearer for the next era.?

Mysterio, however, has embraced a sharply antagonistic tone towards Cena, often mixing disrespect with backhanded respect—playing perfectly into his heel persona.

In several recent interviews, Dominik has dismissed Cena as nothing more than an “old geezer” and made it clear he’d welcome the chance to end Cena’s career.

During an interview with Tony Free Dominik quipped, “If John Cena wants some, he can come get some… If that old geezer wants me to put a final nail in his coffin, I’ll be more than happy to. That’s what I’m here for.”

He’s also labeled Cena as “past his prime” and indicated he isn’t intimidated, saying Cena’s legacy ends with him.

This verbal jousting has added authenticity and energy to their ongoing storyline, with Dominik determined to establish himself over the “GOAT” John Cena while Cena offers both high praise and subtle challenges to the young star.?

Injured WWE Star Shares Recovery Update At 4-Month Mark

0

An injured WWE star has shared a positive update on their recovery. NXT’s Adriana Rizzo, who has been absent from the ring since April of this year, posted a video to Twitter showing her running on a treadmill at the “4-month mark” of her rehabilitation.

Rizzo previously revealed that she had suffered a torn ACL and meniscus. This was unfortunately not her first major injury. Rizzo suffered a torn Achilles back in 2023, which delayed her in-ring career. She also revealed that she had been working with a partially torn ACL for a year and a half before this most recent injury finally forced her to undergo surgery.

Rizzo signed with WWE in late 2022. She competed in an NXT Women’s Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal at a live event but would not become a regular presence at house shows until a year later.

At this time, it is not clear when Rizzo will be making her return to NXT. Before her injury, she was a member of the D’Angelo Family, but that group has since been disbanded.

Outside of the ring, Rizzo recently revealed that she is in a relationship with fellow NXT star Cutler James, a member of the faction DarkState.

Backstage News On Former AEW Champion’s TV Absence

0

Nyla Rose has been absent from AEW television for most of this year, which has led to fan speculation regarding her status with the company.

A report from Fightful has provided some clarity on the situation. According to the report, the former AEW Women’s World Champion is not injured. However, the report also notes that Nyla Rose’s name has not been mentioned in creative meetings.

It remains unclear why Rose has not been featured on AEW programming. This situation has also affected several other AEW wrestlers in recent times.

Despite her absence from AEW TV, Rose is still active in the ring. She has participated in several independent events, including the Jericho Cruise. Rose also competed in a match last weekend in Texas, where she defeated Charity King.

AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Nyla Rose’s status at the AEW All Out 2025 media scrum. Khan stated that the door is open for her to return. He also noted that other former champions have recently been brought back into storylines.

Two TNA Stars Have Signed New Contracts

0

Steph De Lander is officially under contract with TNA Wrestling. According to a report from Fightful Select, De Lander is signed to a deal that runs through June 2026, confirming her long-term status with the company. TNA had never publicly confirmed her contract situation, but this update clears up any speculation about her future.

Mance Warner has also signed a TNA deal with the same end date. The report notes that this is also the case for Warner, “who had also worked in TNA without a deal for quite some time.” He now joins De Lander as part of the locked-in roster.

Steph De Lander made her TNA debut in 2023 and made an immediate impact. However, her momentum was halted in August 2024 when a neck injury forced her out of action. Even while recovering, her name remained part of the conversation, and this deal confirms she is officially part of TNA’s future.

Mance Warner has brought chaos every time he has appeared on TNA programming, from backstage brawls to old-school beatdowns. With this new deal in place, he is set for more than just a cameo role. The confirmation for both wrestlers comes after a period of major roster changes in late 2025.

The two are an established on-screen couple in TNA, having been aligned since De Lander’s return from neck surgery in January 2025. Warner was most recently seen as the 20th entrant in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at the Bound For Glory event on October 12. This contract news comes during a celebratory time for the pair, as De Lander and Warner, who were engaged in April, officially got married on Wednesday, October 30.

Ricky Saints Comments On Potential Cody Rhodes Match In WWE

0

Ricky Saints is open to a rematch with Cody Rhodes.

The two stars have been linked together since Saints made his AEW debut by answering the TNT title open challenge held by the American Nightmare in 2020. The duo have become good friends since then. Ricky even got himself in trouble by being spotted with Rhodes at the 2023 Royal Rumble event while still being signed to the Tony Khan-owned promotion.

The former FTW champion was asked about a potential rematch with his mentor under the WWE banner while appearing on Busted Open Radio. Ricky Saints first said that he could see it being a great match. When Bishop Dyer talked about the history between the two, the NXT star mentioned that the story is already there:

“There is so much to it. When you add a real-life friendship to things and you have evidence and history of how things have gone, the story is within itself. I’m sure with time we’ll get to that point. It’s always funny to hear that as one of people’s dream matches. I’m with it, 1000%, obviously,”

After being kept away from spotlight for almost a year at the end of his AEW tenure, Ricky Saints has managed to turn his career around since joining NXT in February this year. He had a run with the North American Championship in April and Ricky then defeated Oba Femi at No Mercy last month to win the NXT Championship.

Watch: Former WWE Star Wins Boxing Debut In Seconds

0

Gable Steveson seems to have found his calling.

The Olympic Gold Medalist made his boxing debut for Dirty Boxing Championship, a new promotion started by MMA veteran Mike Perry, on Friday night.

He went up against 31-year-old Billy Swanson in the main event of Dirty Boxing 4. Thanks to his powerful uppercuts, Steveson picked up an easy victory, knocking his opponent out in mere seconds:

Gable Steveson signed a WWE NIL contract with much fanfare following an appearance at the 2021 SummerSlam event. He became only the second Olympic Gold Medalist after Kurt Angle to be signed by the promotion.

He was assigned to the Raw brand in the 2021 Draft but never wrestled on the show. After making some sporadic TV appearances, Steveson was quietly moved to the NXT brand.

The 25-year-old would finally make his in-ring debut during the 2023 NXT Great American Bash event. His match with Baron Corbin, however, ended in no-contest. This proved to be his only televised match as Gable was quietly released from his contract in May last year.

Though the young star seems to have found his rhythm in the combat sports world since the WWE departure. He won his MMA debut against Braden Peterson at LFA 217 last month, defeating his opponent in less than 2 minutes. Now this dominating boxing victory suggests that Steveson has a long career ahead.

Chris Jericho Reunites With Former WWE Best Friend Amid Return Rumors (Photo)

0

Chris Jericho reunited with his best friend at an interesting time.

The former AEW Champion attended tonight’s Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Dallas Stars ice hockey game from the Benchmark International arena in Tampa, Florida.

Though Jericho was not alone in this outing, and he was joined by none other than his former tag team partner and fellow Canadian Kevin Owens as seen in the Instagram photo he posted below:

Chris Jericho teamed with Kevin Owens during his List of Jericho era back in 2016-17. Their story eventually led to a match between the two at WrestleMania 33, which many still believe should have been the main event of the PPV that year.

The timing of this photo is notable, as Chris has taken a break from AEW TV in recent months. Despite no news of any injury, the former champion has not wrestled a match for the promotion since the Dynasty PPV back in April this year.

Coupled with the reports of his current deal with the company expiring at the end of the year and interest from WWE, this situation has led to fans speculating widely about Jericho’s wrestling future.

People believe that Y2J has done everything he could in Tony Khan’s promotion, and he is well-suited for a CM Punk-like return to WWE for one final run.

Whether or not it actually happens will be revealed in time, but it’s certain that the former WWE star is well aware of these talks, and he knew the effect this latest photo will have on the discourse about his future.

Sherilyn Guerrero Is Fueled By Fire, Grateful For Fan Support

0

Sherilyn Guerrero is excited to start her pro wrestling journey after joining Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling in Texas. After Guerrero and ROW shared news of Sherilyn’s training, both were flooded with messages of support for the multi-generational talent.

On X, Sherilyn responded to the support of fans. Guerrero shared that she knew she needed to wait for the right time to start her wrestling journey and is “fueled by fire.”

Sherilyn is the latest Guerrero to step foot in the ring, and follows in the footsteps of her late father Eddie, and her cousin Chavo. Sherilyn’s sister Shaul worked as Raquel Diaz in the WWE from 2010 to 2014, and appeared on AEW TV in 2020. Sherilyn’s mother Vickie would become a prominent figure in WWE following Eddie’s death in 2005.

Whether Sherilyn makes it to WWE like so many of her family members remains to be seen, but being part of ROW and having Booker T involved certainly helps her chances. Notable ROW alumni include Roxanne Perez and Trick Williams, both of whom have gone on to become multi-time champions in WWE.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this next chapter in the Guerrero wrestling legacy.

Rumor Killer On WWE’s Parent Company Working With Chris Jericho

0

Rumors continue to circulate about Chris Jericho potentially returning to WWE, and recently, one advertisement for Fozzy garnered a lot of attention. The sponsored post on social media shared that Fozzy is coming to the UK in 2026, and that the tour is being presented by Divergent Promotions “by arrangement with TKO.”

image 6

This post led many to believe that TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, was working with Fozzy, and thus, Jericho would be returning to WWE. However, the truth is that the TKO working with Fozzy is not the same that is overseeing WWE. Instead, TKO UK is a UK-based events company that specializes in rock and metal events. The company has previously worked with Fozzy, including presenting the band’s ‘Save the World’ tour in November 2022.

Jericho last competed for WWE in 2018 and joined AEW the following year. 2019 would see Jericho become the first AEW World Champion, a title he held for six months before losing in early 2020 to Jon Moxley. While Jericho is open to returning to WWE, fans are reading too much into ‘TKO’ hosting the Fozzy tour.

Sami Zayn Says WWE U.S. Title Reign Was One of His Favorites

0

Sami Zayn’s time as WWE United States Champion has come to an end, but the Canadian is grateful for his time with the gold. On X, Zayn shared that his reign was great and memorable thanks to the quality of the matches he had.

“Been reflecting on my run as US Champion. One of my favorite things I’ve done in WWE. 8 weeks, 8 very different opponents, 8 bangers in a row. It’s hard to do something great. In the age of content, it’s even harder to do something memorable. It felt like this was both. Grateful.”

Zayn won the gold from Solo Sikoa during the August 29, episode of SmackDown, which took place in Lyon, France. The following week, Sami would reintroduce the U.S. Title open challenge, though his first title defense against John Cena ended in a no contest thanks to Brock Lesnar. Sami’s other title matches saw him face Rey Fenix, Carmelo Hayes, Je’Von Evans, Aleister Black, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Zayn’s reign was ended by Ilja Dragunov during the October 17, edition of SmackDown. While Zayn’s reign was relatively brief, it did put Sami one step closer to WWE’s Grand Slam. Now, all Zayn needs is a WWE World Championship reign to enter the Grand Slam.

Sami Zayn’s time as U.S. Champion will always be special to the Canadian and he believes what he did during his reign will be remembered by fans. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Sami Zayn.

Drew McIntyre Smashes Out His Anger Before WWE Title Match

0

Drew McIntyre is channeling his anger ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he hopes to capture his fourth WWE World Championship. Mere days before the November 1 show, McIntyre took to Instagram to share footage of himself and his wife in a ‘rage room’ where they could smash things to their heart’s content.

McIntyre made reference to his upcoming title match, which will see him once again face off against Cody Rhodes. Drew acknowledged his past shortcomings, but is ready to give his fans the win they’re eager to see.

Apparently, I could just break as much as I want, get all my rage out of. Sometimes my problem. A Scottish anger gets in the way. I can get it out before Saturday This is what it feels like to be a Drew McIntyre fan in a WWE title match. Let’s fix that. The Saturday night’s main event.”

McIntyre last held championship gold at WrestleMania 40, where his reign was ended in mere minutes by Damian Priest cashing in Money in the Bank. Since then, McIntyre has competed for a WWE World Championship five times, all to no avail. His most recent match saw him battle Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza in September 2025.

Whether McIntyre can turn his fortunes around and leave Saturday Night’s Main Event as the Undisputed WWE Champion, time will tell. For McIntyre, a sixth loss in a row in the title picture could prove just as damaging to him as to what he inflicted in the rage room.

JBL Recalls Vince McMahon Firing Wrestler For Using Word He Hated

0

Vince McMahon seemingly fired a star for saying the word prick.

During the latest episode of Something to Wrestle With podcast, JBL talked about things such as what would have happened if Bret Hart never left WWE for WCW, Vince Russo’s involvement with JCW and more.

The WWE Hall of Famer also talked about the strange habits of Vince McMahon, including his dislike for the word prick. JBL told a story to emphasize how much the former WWE owner hated the word, noting that he was once very high on Brad Maddox:

“Vince told me one day, he goes, ‘That kid’s special.’ That’s the only time I ever heard him say that, you know. Now, he said nicer things about people, but I remember the way he said it — he thought, like, ‘that kid’s got it,’ you know. And man, you don’t hear that from Vince very much. Vince really liked Maddox.”

Vince Hated That Word: JBL

Maddox first came into the spotlight when he refereed the match between CM Punk and Ryback at Hell In A Cell PPV in 2012. After helping Punk retain the WWE title against the Monster-Sized Athlete, he became a character on WWE TV and later wrestled matches against the likes of Sheamus, Randy Orton and The Great Khali. He was abruptly released from the company in November 2015.

According to JBL, the reason behind Brad Maddox’s release was an unaired promo where he referred to the WWE audience as pricks:

“Then when he went out there — I’m sitting there waiting, it was like a pre-show, and I’m sitting there waiting to go out with Michael Cole — and that’s when Maddox called the fans a bunch of pricks or something. He comes back and Vince fired him. Vince hated that word. He thought that was a classless word.”

JBL later mentioned that he also got in trouble with McMahon once for saying the word during a promo. The former WWE Chairman pulled him aside and told him not to use it on TV again.

Wes Lee Announced For First Post-WWE Booking Alongside Big Names

0

Wes Lee is ready to step back into the ring.

The former NXT North American Champion was surprisingly released from his WWE contract alongside names such as Evolve General Manager Stevie Turner and Lance Anoa’i earlier this month.

Being on a development deal meant that the former NXT Champion could take bookings in just 30 days instead of having to sit through the 90-day non-compete clause that is standard for main roster stars.

The wrestling star, now going by the name Dezmond Xavier, reminded everyone of this fact on X. In his latest post, Xavier revealed that he is now being represented by the Paragon talent agency and that he will become a free agent on November 11.

Dezmond Xavier Gets First Post WWE Booking

It didn’t take long for the former WWE star to get his first booking following this post as HOG announced that the high-flying star will be joining the lineup for their November 15 Superclash event:

The Superclash event will feature a number of other big names as well. The list of talent confirmed for the show includes AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, Killer Kross, Nic Nemeth, Shotzi and more.

Wes Lee had been with WWE since 2020 before his sudden release this month. He was a featured performer in NXT during his stint. Apart from the NA title run, he also won the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Nash Carter and the duo had multiple runs with the NXT tag titles too.

Aria Bennett Exposes Racist Hate Messages From Wrestling Fans

0

Evolve wrestling star Aria Bennett took to Twitter on October 30, 2025, to expose racist hate messages she has received from wrestling fans online. Bennett, who is currently recovering from an ACL injury, shared screenshots of the offensive messages.

One message contained the N-word, while another message stated that she was “almost cute enough to be white.” The vile remarks underscore the hateful rhetoric that many athletes and public figures face on social media platforms.

“Some of us experience racism but we try our best to ignore it. Plenty more of these smh,” Bennett wrote, expressing her frustration and indicating that this is not an isolated incident. Her statement highlights the prevalence of such abuse and the emotional toll it takes on individuals.

As Bennett continues her recovery, her stance against racism serves as a reminder of the ongoing fight for equality and respect within the wrestling community and beyond.

Eddie Guerrero’s Daughter Sherilyn Begins Training at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling

0

Sherilyn Guerrero, the 30-year-old daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, has officially begun her professional wrestling journey at Reality of Wrestling (ROW( in Texas City, Texas.

ROW made it official on October 30, 2025, marking another chapter in one of wrestling’s most storied family legacies.

Reality of Wrestling has emerged as a premier destination for aspiring wrestlers, recently earning designation as an official WWE ID (Independent Development) school in October 2024. The facility has produced numerous successful graduates including current WWE star Roxanne Perez, The Usos, and AEW talents Sammy Guevara and Bryan Keith.

The Guerrero wrestling dynasty spans four generations, beginning with patriarch Gory Guerrero and continuing through his sons Eddie, Chavo Sr., Mando, and Hector. Eddie Guerrero, who passed away in 2005 at age 38, remains one of the most influential and beloved figures in wrestling history, known as “Latino Heat” during his legendary career.

0

Logan Paul Reacts to Federal Judge Dismissing CryptoZoo Lawsuit

0

A federal judge has ended Logan Paul’s latest legal saga, officially dismissing the class action lawsuit tied to his CryptoZoo NFT project.

The class action, brought by investors who claimed Paul and his team had misled users and “rug-pulled” the ambitious CryptoZoo game in 2021, was first thrown out in August. This week, SEScoops can confirm the dismissal was reaffirmed by a district judge, bringing the case to a close. On Thursday, he took a victory lap on social media.

The CryptoZoo project promised fans the ability to breed and trade “virtual animals” for profit, but the concept failed to deliver, leading to accusations of fraud. Plaintiffs struggled to connect Logan Paul directly to their financial losses, which both a magistrate and district judge agreed was grounds for dismissal.

Paul’s attorney, Jeff Neiman, praised the outcome to TMZ: “The district judge reaffirmed that ruling, holding once again that no reasonable juror could find Logan’s statements misleading or fraudulent.”

Logan Paul received word of the lawsuit’s dismissal on his wedding day, offering some unexpected honeymoon peace as he celebrated his marriage to Nina Agdal in Lake Como this August.

Paul remains committed to WWE, having retired from boxing to focus on his wrestling career, and although he’s currently absent from television following his high-profile match at Clash in Paris, he is waiting for his next call from Triple H and is expected to remain with WWE for the foreseeable future.

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

0

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal announced he has undergone successful knee surgery to address lingering mobility issues that have impacted his physical condition in recent years. The procedure involved removing two loose bodies from his knee joint and trimming his meniscus, targeting chronic pain and joint instability that had plagued the veteran performer.

Mahal, whose real name is Raj Dhesi, shared the update directly with fans through his official Instagram account, posting video documentation of the procedure and his first day of rehabilitation.

The surgery comes years after Mahal’s memorable 2017 WWE Championship reign, which established him as a prominent international wrestling ambassador. Now competing outside of WWE, Mahal remains focused on recovery and long-term health. While he has not indicated whether an in-ring return is planned, the successful operation marks a positive step in his rehabilitation journey.

Logan Paul Called Out by Michael Chandler for Summerslam 2026

0

Logan Paul is someone who gets frequently called out and the brash influencer turned WWE performer has a former UFC title challenger wanting to lock up with him inside the WWE ring. That was expressed by Michael Chandler who recently appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet to cover several subjects.

Touching on his UFC specific aspirations, the former multi-time Bellator MMA champion was discussing his desire to get on that UFC White House card next year. Chandler has often mentioned wanting that big pay day fight with Conor McGregor as far as who his desired opponent for the June 2026 tentpole event would be. But ‘Iron’ Michael has also kept things open to fight whoever, as he feels like he can electrify the crowd in a show that imparts a sense of partisan spirit for an event aligned with celebrating American independence.

After Chandler touched upon that desire though, Van Vliet mentioned that maybe WWE will be the next move after that White House clash for the MMA star. CVV broke down how Chandler could definitely succeed in WWE based on his look, mic skills, and athletic attributes. This comment came after an earlier portion of the interview which was centred on Michael Chandler’s passion for WWE as a kid and how his love for pro wrestlign is higher now than it ever has been.

Responding to Van Vliet’s idea that perhaps a pivot to some WWE action could possibly be in the cards for post-June 2026, Chandler said,

Yeah, when’s Wrestlemania?…Oh, that’s right. So we can’t do Wrestlemania, but when is [SummerSlam]… I knew there’s one in August… Where’s that at?… Minneapolis. Okay, let’s do Minneapolis in August.”

“Me versus Logan Paul… Me versus Logan Paul [laughs]…. That’s where we’ll do it. That’s where we’ll start it. No, I mean, yeah, could be awesome. We’ll see.”

“We got a lot of talks to happen between now and then. Obviously, they know I’m interested. I believe they’re interested. So, We’ll see where we’re at.

Logan Paul addresses current WWE situation after a dormant period

Logan Paul has cleared up some things recently as a certain crop of pro wrestling fans were unsure what ‘The Maverick’ was up to as he has not been on WWE programming for multiple weeks. Paul’s last match, as of this writing, came at Clash in Paris as he took a loss to seventeen time world champion John Cena.

A recent vlog posted to his YouTube channel illuminated some details regarding what Paul is up to and the former influencer boxer has mentioned how his effort is focused on being in WWE. His co-host Mike Majlak got in a bit of a playful poke that Paul barely does anything in WWE though and Logan Paul responded by stating that he is simply waiting for a call from Triple H to get the greeenlight regarding what the next moves are.

0

WWE and Playmobil are stepping in the ring together with a new collaboration to produce new wrestling figures. The new deal will kick off in July 2026 with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Hulk Hogan, and Rhea Ripley already confirmed.

The partnership was revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2025, and was facilitated by IMG, according to a Playmobil statement. Bahri Kurter, CEO (Vorstand) of Playmobil, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership:

“At Playmobil, we believe in the power of imagination to unlock new worlds. By partnering with WWE, we are celebrating iconic Superstars who have inspired millions across generations, and we are connecting their stories with the creativity and imagination that are the heart of our brand. This partnership is another step in our journey of meaningful collaborations that redefine the role of Playmobil in pop culture.”

2025 has already seen Playmobil reach deals with Barbie and Monster High, two of Mattel’s most popular brands. Now, this deal with WWE is the latest step for the German-based toy manufacturer, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.

WWE has been releasing action figures for decades, and the Playmobil deal is the next evolution in wrestling toys. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on WWE’s merchandise and newest business deals.

Ricky Saints Reveals The One Thing That Will Make Him Retire

0

WWE NXT Champion Ricky Saints has had a fast rise in WWE, and he has a clear message for anyone who thinks he’s satisfied: he’s not comfortable, and he’s glad. In a recent interview, Saints reflected on his rapid success and why he believes getting comfortable is the first step toward the end of a career.

Speaking on “Busted Open Radio,” Saints was asked about his journey to the top of the brand, which saw him win both the North American and NXT Championships within his first year.

“I think the day that I’m comfortable is the day I should retire. So, no, I’m not comfortable, and I’m glad. But I am happy. Everything has been good. Everything has been like, in a way, everything I had been… not looking for, but wanting fulfillment and the creativity, expressing that for a year. I’m getting that.”

At No Mercy on September 27, Saints defeated Oba Femi to win the NXT Championship. Saints retained the NXT Championship this past Saturday at NXT Halloween Havoc, defeating Trick Williams in the main event.

“I can’t ask for anything better, especially in the situation, if you really think about it. Within eight months, I was already North American Champion, and now I’m the NXT Champion. That’s wild, but I’m not surprised.”

WWE Warned Against Making CM Punk Or Jey Uso The Next World Champion

0

As WWE prepares to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event, two prominent wrestling veterans are questioning the creative decision to put the title on either of the contenders. On a recent edition of “Busted Open Radio,” WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray and Nic Nemeth both argued that CM Punk and Jey Uso are already so popular with the audience that they don’t need the championship right now, and that putting the belt on either man would be the wrong move.

Nic Nemeth, a multi-time world champion himself, explained that both men have achieved a rare level of stardom where the gold is no longer necessary to define their success.

“I don’t think either one of those guys are gonna have it. I don’t know. Punk doesn’t need it. Jey doesn’t need it. But to have it, cool. There’s nothing. It’s great… But to be so beloved by a crowd one way or another, to not need it, is the greatest attribute in pro wrestling history. That’s why I really wanted somebody else, only because they don’t need it. They’ve transcended being a world champ… The reason I keep agreeing with you on there not being a finish or a weird one is because the two people fighting for it are above world champion.”

Bully Ray echoed that sentiment, arguing that a CM Punk title win, in particular, should be reserved for a much bigger moment rather than on a Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“Pulling the trigger on Punk on a Saturday Night’s Main Event right now to become champion, that doesn’t feel right at all. Punk does not need a championship, and when the eventual day comes, night comes, that Punk wins the championship, it has to be the payoff of all payoffs, just like him finally getting to be in a main event of WrestleMania. Punk, much like a Dusty Rhodes — it’s a good place to be in — never needs a championship. When they put the championship on you, it’s just for the payoff. It’s coming right back off you because the people love you either way.”

Bully also dismissed the idea of Jey Uso winning the title, stating, “Jey Uso winning, I would look as nothing more than a placeholder right now.” Both men seemed to agree that a non-finish, perhaps involving the new version of The Vision, would be a better creative outcome for the November 1 Premium Live Event.
