Ex-WWE Personalities Attend AEW Dynamite in St. Paul

0

Former WWE figures Josh Mathews and Perry Saturn were reportedly backstage at the March 26 AEW Dynamite taping in St. Paul, Minnesota, according to PWInsider. Matthews, who has experience as a ring announcer for both WWE and TNA Wrestling, was seen at the event. His wife, Madison Rayne, is currently associated with AEW as a coach and producer.

Saturn, known for his tenure in WWF, WCW, and ECW, was also backstage, reconnecting with talent from his wrestling career.

The evening’s Dynamite episode featured a women’s tag-team match where Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford secured a victory over Thunder Rosa and AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm. Bayne achieved the pinfall over Storm, setting the stage for their upcoming championship match at AEW Dynasty.?

AEW Dynasty is scheduled for April 6 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event’s card includes Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Swerve Strickland, and Toni Storm defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Megan Bayne. ?

Cedric Alexander Reveals Immediate Reaction To WWE Release

0

Cedric Alexander has revealed his first thoughts on his WWE release.

The former Cruiserweight Champion recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about things such as potentially joining the Hurt Syndicate in AEW, his relationship with Triple H and more.

During the interview, Alexander also discussed how he was not surprised when the call for his release came in last month. According to him, he kept his mindset positive, looking at it as a loss of job but not as a loss of his career:

“So I immediately thought to myself when I was released, I was like, Okay, that’s a job. Wrestling is my career. I may be out of a job, but I still have a career.”

You Just Move On: Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander also recalled how fellow WWE alumni Mustafa Ali helped keep him positive. Ali, who had a similar journey in WWE before his 2023 release, has become an independent wrestling sensation since then.

The former Hurt Business member revealed that Ali called him as soon as he heard the news, giving him advice for post-WWE career:

“All thanks to [Mustafa] Ali, he’s one of the guys that called me within the hour of me being released and was immediately like, hey dude, it’s all good. Just being super positive as you know Ali is, but yeah man, it sucked because it’s a dream job.

It’s one of those jobs that I’m a kid and I’m like oh my god, I’m gonna wrestle for WWE. Then when it ends, it just ends. You just move on.”

The former champion noted that he expected himself to be angry upon his release, but he actually felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

Baron Corbin Divulges Conspiracy Behind WWE Release

0

Baron Corbin believes his WWE release was premeditated.

The former US Champion was one of the most shocking WWE departures of 2024. After his exit from the company, the wrestling veteran has suggested multiple times that someone high up in the company did not want him to be part of the roster.

The former WWE star who goes by the ring name Bishop Dyer now, once again talked about the issue in a new interview with Ariel Helwani. While Corbin did not reveal the name of the person, he suggested that his 2023 NXT run was arranged by them. The 40-year-old explained that they were hoping to create a situation to get rid of him but his success in the development brand foiled their plans:

“They have a good amount of power and I just don’t…..for some reason they’re not a fan of me or what I do. They were part of the thing that pushed me to go down to NXT and do some matches which I think was kind of like ‘I will put them down there for a little bit. He’ll complain or he’ll do something and it won’t work and then that gives us a reason.’

Then when I went down there and just killed it and caught on fire and became a baby face for the first time in my career and the audiences were behind me and they loved the wolf dog stuff. They couldn’t deny that it wasn’t working.”

If You Have One Persson: Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin revealed that he’s talked to several people who have confirmed that the one person was against him. Per the former champion, they didn’t give up on trying to sabotage his career even after the failed NXT attempt. Corbin suggested that they made efforts to keep him off TV after he returned to main roster, ultimately leading to his release from the company:

“So then when I got back up to the main roster that person had power again. I think that I got shelved and then…Anybody it doesn’t matter who it is. If you have one person that’s kind of that guy that’s always like ‘Uh, not for him. Let’s not use him for that. He’s not working.’ Then other people are like ‘Oh well, I’m not going to pitch ideas for that person because this guy’s going to shoot it down’ stuff like that.”

Las Vegas Chapel Offering WWE-Themed Weddings For WrestleMania 41

0

WrestleMania season is fast approaching and one chapel in Las Vegas is taking things to the next level. For fans traveling to Sin City and ready to take their relationship to the next level, one chapel is letting attendees put a headlock on their heart with a wrestling-themed wedding.

The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel will host themed ceremonies as part of their ‘Love SmackDown‘ package in April 2025. In a TikTok video, it was teased that attendees will be able to step into the ring before saying “I do.” In the comments, the package proved popular, with one commentator interested in the package noting that “I have less than a month to find a husband.”

The Love SmackDown package is just one unique way to get mrried at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. Other themed ceremonies include IPs such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Spider-Man. An Elvis impersonator is also available at the Viva Las Vegas chapel to give couples the authentic Vegas wedding experience.

WWE WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19, and April 20, from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, but will be just part of the week-long festivities coming to the city. With WWE events and non-WWE events descending on Vegas, there’ll be plenty for wrestling fans, especially those ready to suplex their significant other into holy matrimony.

Adam Copeland Responds To Criticism Of His Unexpected Strong Booking

0

Adam Copeland has defended himself against the criticism of his boking.

The AEW star recently had an interview with TVInsider. He talked about things like a possible AEW role for his wife Beth Phoenix, balancing his acting career with wrestling and more.

The company has been teasing some tensions between Dax Harwood and Cope in recent weeks, indicating a potential heel turn for FTR. When asked how he expects the story to progress and where he might end up, the former World Champion claimed that it’s not really his decision:

“I don’t factor in where I end up. I always say, “Where do you need me? You want me to go in this direction? Cool, I’ll start putting together some ideas.” It’s a collaborative effort, but I really enjoy that. I enjoy piecing together stories.”

We Don’t Come Up With The Finishes: Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland has been criticized recently for not putting talents over. The former WWE star has won 30 out of his 40 singles matches since his 2020 in-ring return. After the Revolution 2025 main event ended with Mox choking Christian Cage out, a lot of people pointed out how the Rated R Superstar rarely seems to be the one taking the pin, even in bouts he doesn’t win.

The Attitude Era star seemingly reacted to these recent observations from fans saying that he doesn’t really come up with the finish to his bouts:

“Contrary to popular belief, we don’t come up with the finishes. I always just ask where do you need me? Point me in whatever direction you need me, and I’ll get to work.”

The 51-year-old also talked about his Emmy nomination for his role in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson. Cope explained that him being put into the world title picture immediately upon his return to AEW programming was a way to capitalize on the buzz created with his acting achievements.

Seth Rollins Credits Hall of Famer For Birth of His Daughter

0

Seth Rollins has revealed how Stone Cold Steve Austin influenced the birth of his daughter.

The Architect started dating fellow wrestling star Becky Lynch, real name Rebecca Quin back in 2019. Becky gave birth to their daughter Roux in December 2020.

Rollins played the ‘Name the Face’ game during his latest appearance on Good Morning Football where he correctly identified the Texas Rattlesnake. When asked to tell a story about the WWE Hall of Famer, Seth recalled his wife getting to share a moment with Steve Austin during the 3:16 Raw in 2020:

“Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. All right, flashback. In March 2020, everybody knows COVID shuts down the world, right? First show in WWE, post-COVID, post-shutdown, 3:16 Raw.

Customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring. At the time, hottest thing in professional wrestling, my lovely incredible wife, The Man, Becky Lynch.”

If It Wasn’t For Steve Austin: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins then joked that Becky decided that it was time to have the baby after that segment and he doesn’t know if that would have been the case without the former world champion’s TV appearance:

“She happened to break open one, two, three, four cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of Raw. That night, she was like, ‘You know what? I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’

Don’t know if she’d make that decision if it wasn’t for Stone Cold Steve Austin. So absolutely. Hell, yeah. Slam them back. Thanks, Steve. You’re the man.”

The former Shield member also recently talked about his daughter’s love for Moana and gave his opinion on The Rock as his boss. You can check out his comments on the matter here.

Update On Britt Baker’s AEW Status Following Recent Move

0

Britt Baker won’t be leaving AEW anytime soon, at least without the permission of Tony Khan.

All Elite Wrestling has seen a number of big departures over the last few months. Names such as Penta, Rey Fenix, and Malakai Black have left the promotion and only yesterday Saraya confirmed that she is also done with the company for now.

So when Britt Baker seemingly removed all AEW references from her social media profiles, many people wondered if she’s the next talent on her way out of the organization.

A new report from Fightful Select, however, suggests that leaving the company will not be easy for the former Women’s Champion. According to them, Baker is still under contract with the company and her deal is not set to expire anytime soon.

Britt Baker has not wrestled for AEW in 2025. Her last match came at the November 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite, where the former champion defeated Penelope Ford.

Reports have painted Baker as someone who is hard to work with, and her absence has been attributed to Tony Khan being frustrated with the female star.

This doesn’t necessarily mean Britt can’t be brought back somewhere down the line but her latest move does make it seem like she is beginning to distance herself from the company instead of trying to mend fences.

Ricochet Announces Wedding With Samantha Irvin

0

AEW star Ricochet missed this week’s episode of Dynamite for a good reason.

International Champion Kenny Omega picked up a victory over Blake Christian in the opening match of this week’s episode of the Wednesday night show.

Omega cut a promo following his victory before “Speedball” Mike Bailey came out. Bailey told Omega that he respects the current champion but won’t be pulling any punches when the two meet in the ring.

The One and Only then appeared on the big screen in a white suit. Ricochet said that he’d love to be there in person, but today is his wedding day, and he’s dressed for the best day of his life. This is, until the April 6 Dynasty event when he beats both Bailey and Omega in a triple threat for the International title:

Ricochet officially confirmed his relationship with former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin back in 2021. The two got engaged in January 2023, while still under contract for the Endeavor owned promotion.

Both the wrestling names have since left the company. Ricochet previously claimed that Irvin wouldn’t be joining AEW, but the former ring announcer herself has said that she would definitely be back in wrestling at some point, potentially in a different role than last time.

SEScoops would like to congratulate Ricochet and Samantha on their wedding.

Nick Aldis Alerts Fans After Hacked X Account Promotes Fake WWE Crypto Coin

0

WWE Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis confirmed that his official X account has been hacked, following a series of unauthorized posts promoting a fake cryptocurrency project.

The compromised account shared multiple messages announcing the launch of a “$WWE coin,” falsely presenting it as a new innovation tied to Aldis. These posts included promotional language and a crypto wallet address, raising concerns among fans.

In a statement shared via Instagram, Aldis clarified that he had no involvement with the posts and that his account had been compromised. He asked followers to disregard any content posted on his X account, @RealNickAldis, until further notice.

Aldis also noted that WWE has been informed of the breach and is actively working to resolve the situation.

Nattie Neidhart vs. Miyu Yamashita Confirmed for Bloodsport XIII

0

Nattie Neidhart is officially stepping into a new kind of fight. The WWE veteran will face renowned karate striker Miyu Yamashita at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII, scheduled for Thursday, April 11 in Las Vegas.

The matchup was confirmed by Josh Barnett via social media after both competitors publicly expressed interest.

Neidhart issued the challenge with a direct post: “Give me Miyu,” which Yamashita quickly accepted. Barnett responded by announcing the bout, calling it a fight between athletes of “this caliber.”

This appearance marks a notable crossover for Neidhart, who brings her wrestling legacy into Bloodsport’s hybrid ruleset—known for its no-rope, knockout-or-submission-only format. Yamashita, a top name in Japan’s wrestling and striking circles, will be making her Bloodsport debut against one of WWE’s most decorated women.

The event will be held at the Pearl at the Palms and will be available via TrillerTV.

Stevie Turner Appointed as WWE Evolve General Manager

0

In a significant development for WWE’s developmental brand, WWE Evolve introduced Stevie Turner as its new General Manager during tonight’s March 26 episode. Turner, who previously served as assistant to NXT General Manager Ava, brings experience from her tenure in NXT UK and NXT.

The announcement came during a Town Hall meeting where Turner was officially confirmed as the new General Manager. She had been working on behalf of Ava over the past few weeks, impressing with her match pitches and talent acquisition.

Upon receiving the position, Turner expressed that she was honored and grateful for the trust Ava had shown in her.

The 28-year-old Turner competed on the UK independent circuit as Bobbi Tyler from 2016 to 2020. She signed with WWE in March 2021, debuting on NXT UK before transitioning to NXT in January 2023. She was appointed as an Assistant General Manager of NXT in June 2024, alongside Robert Stone.

WWE Evolve serves as a platform for emerging talents, featuring wrestlers from WWE’s Performance Center and ID program. The brand is overseen by WWE Senior VP of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels and is run by Gabe Sapolsky, the founder of the original EVOLVE promotion that WWE acquired in 2020.

Swerve Strickland Drops 2016 WWE Callback on AEW Dynamite

0

On the March 26, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland took aim at Jon Moxley in a heated promo, questioning the AEW World Champion’s authenticity.

Strickland added, “Have fun continuing to play Jon Moxley on TV,” a pointed remark that carried added weight for longtime fans.

The line directly echoed a 2016 WWE Raw promo where Moxley, then performing as Dean Ambrose, delivered a similar insult to John Cena: “Have fun being the guy that plays John Cena on TV.

Strickland’s use of the same phrase flipped the narrative, turning Moxley’s old words back on him.

The segment stood out as another example of AEW’s ongoing use of layered storytelling, rewarding fans who recognize callbacks and long-running character arcs.

Ex-WWE Wrestler Von Wagner Resurfaces in AEW

0

Former WWE talent Von Wagner, now competing under his real name Cal Bloom, made his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) debut in a non-wrestling capacity. Bloom appeared as part of the security team during a brawl between AEW wrestlers Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Following his WWE release in April 2024, Bloom returned to in-ring action on March 15, 2025, at Midwest All-Star Wrestling’s “Mayhem at the Mall” event in Maplewood, Minnesota, facing Shay Diesel. This marked his first match since departing WWE.

Cal Bloom, son of former WWE wrestler Wayne Bloom, was part of WWE from 2019 until his release in 2024. Since then, he has competed under his birth name rather than his WWE ring name.

‘Pathetic’: Mandy Rose Criticizes WWE Over Double Champion Claim

0

Mandy Rose took aim at WWE in a recent social media post, calling the company “pathetic” for crediting Stephanie Vaquer as the first-ever NXT Women’s double champion. The reaction came after a viral post pointed out Rose’s past title win, suggesting WWE had ignored her accomplishments.

In the now-viral meme, Rose is shown holding the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Championships, with text criticizing WWE’s recognition of Vaquer. A fan’s caption insisted Rose was the original double champion, not Vaquer, prompting Rose to respond: “Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!”

However, added context from community notes clarified the distinction. Rose won the NXT UK Women’s Title in a unification match, which merged it with the NXT Women’s Title, effectively retiring the UK belt immediately. This means she was not a dual champion at the time—she held one unified title.

In contrast, Stephanie Vaquer currently holds both the NXT Women’s and NXT North American Championships as separate, active titles. She defends each independently, making her the official and historically accurate first women’s double champion in NXT history.

While Rose’s accomplishments remain notable, the technicality of title unification versus active dual reigns sets a clear distinction in record books.

WWE Signs Posthumous Legends Deal with Kamala

0

The family of the late James Harris, known worldwide as Kamala “The Ugandan Giant,” has announced a posthumous Legends contract with WWE. The move marks a significant recognition of the wrestling icon’s impact on the industry.

“We couldn’t be prouder that James’s legacy is back home where it belongs,” said Emmer Jean Harris, wife of James Harris.

The agreement was facilitated by 16 Creative, a branding and estate management agency based in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Jared Ashley, CEO and Founder of 16 Creative, emphasized that the deal had long been a personal goal.

“My main goal was to get Kamala signed to a Legends deal—and hopefully into the WWE Hall of Fame,” Ashley stated. “I’ve always felt that’s where he belongs, and I think many of his fans would agree.”

Ashley also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with the Harris family and WWE, noting the importance of preserving Kamala’s legacy.

16 Creative has previously managed Legends deals for wrestling figures such as Demolition, Koko B. Ware, Tito Santana, and Junkyard Dog. The agency also represents current WWE legends including Ted DiBiase and Mike Rotunda.

Kamala’s addition to WWE’s Legends roster ensures that his contributions to professional wrestling will continue to be honored for generations to come.

WWE & Las Vegas Raiders Inspire Young Fans at Allegiant Stadium Tour

0

WWE and the Las Vegas Raiders stepped in the ring together to host a special tour of Allegiant Stadium for some lucky young fans. Hosted by Big E and Zoey Stark, the fans were able to visit the staium that will play host to WrestleMania 41 on April 19, and April 20.

The event wasn’t just a field trip for the kids, but an opportunity to learn from two highly-successful individuals. Big E explained that being a champion means constantly working towards a goal and being disciplined. Stark added that she is “blessed” to be with WWE and that she had to “stay on track” and trained every day to succeed.

This tour was one of several community outreach programs, demonstrating that WWE’s efforts to work with fans extends past entertainment on TV. WWE often partners with charities and philanthropic ventures to help worthy causes. These include Make-A-Wish, the V Foundation, the Special Olympics, USO, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

WrestleMania 41 will be a blockbuster two-night event, one that Stark hopes to make the card of while questions remain about Big E’s in-ring future. It remains to be seen what happens at the show, but this tour certainly gave these young fans an education about the venue and what it means to be a champion.

Viral John Cena Fan Comments On WWE Icon’s Scathing Attack

0

At the March 17, edition of WWE Raw, John Cena cemented his heel turn with a scathing promo in Brussels, lashing out at the fans in attendance and at home. During the promo, Cena singled out a young fan of the WWE icon who won’t let this incident ruin his fandom.

In his first interview on the matter, the fan, who’s name remains unknown at this time, discussed being confronted by his favorite Superstar. The fan said that though his interaction with John didn’t go as he would have hoped, the WWE star remains his hero.

“John Cena pointed his finger at me & I was honored. I didn’t know he was going to shit on me, but I understood he was in character. To me, John Cena will always be a hero.”

Cena was in a similarly foul mood during the March 24, edition of WWE Raw in Glasgow, Scotland. Sharing his plans, Cena declared that he will leave WWE as WWE Champion, forcing the company to create a “toy” for Superstars to battle over. Meanwhile, Cena will take the real WWE Championship with over half a century with him and “walk away” to the horror of fans.

John Cena will be a part of the March 31, Raw in London, England, his final confirmed TV appearance on the Road to WrestleMania 41. With another scathing promo expected, it remains to be seen if a young fan in the UK capital comes face-to-face with the 16-time World Champion.

AEW Removed From Britt Baker’s Social Media Bios

0

Britt Baker was the first woman signed to an AEW talent contract in 2019 and for a while, was the top star of the women’s division. Baker’s days on top are now a distant memory, and her recent social media activity may have teased a bold move.

Baker has removed all references to AEW in her Instagram bio, distancing herself from the All-Elite promotion. On X, Baker’s bio is similarly AEW-free and makes reference to her role as a wrestler and a dentist.

Britt Baker Social Media

Baker’s alterations come amid an interesting time in the DMD’s career. Baker hasn’t competed since November 2024, and has competed just five times over the past year. Baker remains active on social media though rarely makes reference to AEW.

Interestingly, her latest reference to AEW on social media saw her throw support behind Saraya following the British wrestler’s exit from AEW.

Baker’s absence has left fans wondering as to whether her time with AEW may also be coming to an end. In January, Chris Jericho cast doubt on the idea that Baker will leave AEW, following reports of alleged heat on the former Women’s World Champion.

If Baker does end her time with AEW, fans can expect WWE to make an effort to sign Baker who could also see interest from promotions overseas such as STARDOM. Whatever’s next, Britt Baker remains a talking point among wrestling fans, even with her hiatus from AEW growing day-by-day.

Bill Goldberg ‘Completely Behind’ His Son Pursuing Pro Wrestling

0

Bill Goldberg has expressed his support for his son Gage potentially becoming a professional wrestler—if it’s truly what he wants to pursue.

During his appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, Goldberg said he would stand behind his son’s decision to enter the wrestling business, provided he showed full dedication and commitment.

“Yes, I’d let him do it,” Goldberg said. “If he looked me in the eye and had the conviction in his soul that that is what he was going to put 120% of his attitude and life towards, to be the best, I know he can do it. He can do anything he wants.”

Goldberg emphasized the importance of hard work and criticized a mindset of entitlement.

“Most people can do anything they want; they just have to put their minds to it and be willing to put in the work.

That’s the problem with a lot of people now—they want it for free, they want it to be given to them, and they want respect to be given to them. You gotta work for it.”

He added that he’d support his son in any endeavor “short of being a crack dealer,” and concluded:

“If the kid loves it, then he can do it. I’m completely behind it.”

Gage Goldberg has previously appeared on WWE television, including a brief on-screen altercation with Bobby Lashley. In December 2024, Gage revealed that Triple H had offered him a WWE tryout, signaling serious potential for a future in the ring.

Jey Uso Stands Up to His Critics: ‘I’m Not Going Anywhere’

0

Jey Uso has addressed criticism surrounding his in-ring skills and the perception of his WWE ascent, making it clear he’s not backing down. Speaking on the Raw Recap podcast, Uso reflected on the impact of the Bloodline storyline and how it boosted his confidence as a solo performer.

“Run that whole Bloodline story back from day one,” he said. “You’ll get lost in the sauce like everybody else. They wanted me to beat Roman. They cheered for me hard. There was never no backlash at that moment.”

Uso emphasized how the experience helped him evolve on the mic and in front of the camera, calling it his “best body of work.” Addressing critics, he said he understands he’s being scrutinized because of his current position, but he’s earned his spot.

“There’s a whole bunch of dope wrestlers way better than me,” he admitted. “They got 20 moves, and y’all can do all that, but they not in my position. It’s a different game up here.”

Reflecting on fan reactions, especially during his entrance, Uso made it clear he’s here to stay—and intends to make another statement at WrestleMania 41.

“I shake arenas, bro. The ground under your feet will be shaking when my entrance is out,” he said. “That’s the levels I’m at, and I’m gonna stay there. I ain’t going nowhere. I’m gonna shock the world two times.”

While Jey Uso is ready to reach the pinnacle of his career at WrestleMania 41 when he battles GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship, The Undertaker recently shared his view that WWE made a gutsy call by placing Uso in this spotlight.

Brussels Arena Gets WWE Makeover After Historic Raw

0

During backstage segments at the March 17, episode of WWE Raw, fans will have spotted that Brussels’ Forest National arena was covered in graffiti. Rather than being an act of vandalism, this was art for the venue and now WWE Superstars have literally left their mark.

In a video shared on X, Bayley, Penta, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez all added to the venue’s art. The Superstars shared their names, catchphrases and in Rodriguez’s case, reminded passers-by that she is a three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion.

The March 17, episode of Raw marked WWE’s first televised event in Belgium, bringing the excitement of WWE’s longest-running show to the nation. The show also marked John Cena’s first appearance since his stunning heel turn in Toronto. In the Forest National, Cena lashed out at the fans, arguing that he was no longer giving to fans who had never been satisfied with his efforts.

While it remains to be seen when WWE will return to Brussels, though a PLE can’t be counted out, the promotion now has a permanent spot inside the Forest National. Saraya Announces AEW Exit, Taking A Break From Wrestling

Saraya’s time with All Elite Wrestling has come to an end. During the debut episode of her new podcast Rulebreakers With Saraya, the former Women’s World Champion shared the news.

“I’m here to tell you that me and AEW’s relationship has come to an end. I had an amazing time there. There’s no bad blood between us. I had such a magical time.”

Saraya’s final appearance for AEW came in October 2024 where she was on the losing end of a four-way Women’s Title contest. After taking “a couple of months” off over the holidays for personal reasons, Saraya had time to reflect on her role as an All-Elite talent.

“I got to thinking — what is there left for me to do in wrestling right now? Right now, there’s really no storylines where I would fit in.”

Saraya clarified that her exit has “nothing to do” with AEW President Tony Khan and instead is “just me thinking that I just don’t fit in right now.” Saraya was worried that she was taking the spot of “someone who could be doing something really special.”

Speaking about AEW, Saraya made clear that “I absolutely love” the promotion Khan launched in 2019. With that in mind, the British star won’t count out a potential return in the future.

“That’s not to say I will never come back to AEW… But I’m taking a little step back and focusing on myself for a bit.”

With her future in wrestling unclear, Saraya plans on “putting my energy into the podcast” with her “wonderful crew.” The wrestler recently shared goals to pursue a career in acting and already has a “big deal” role lined up.

Saraya “loved my f***ing time” with AEW and will miss her former colleagues in the company’s women’s division. While it remains to be seen what’s to come for the Brit, Saraya Bevis is far from finished when it comes to entertaining fans.

Emmy Nomination and Bloodshed: Adam Copeland Talks Balancing Wrestling and Acting

Adam Copeland isn’t just walking the line between two careers—he’s body-slamming it.

The WWE Hall of Famer turned AEW star and Emmy-nominated actor opened up about the whiplash-inducing pace of his life: red carpet one day, spiked mat the next. During an interview with Scott Fishman for TV Insider, he said:

“It’s like going from the Emmys to suplexing Moxley on a spike. That was five days apart! he said.

Cope reflected on a whirlwind week that saw him nominated for Outstanding Supporting Performer for his role as Ares in Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians—then competing in a brutal AEW match days later.

“I never assumed I would be nominated for an Emmy. It wasn’t on my bingo card at all,” Copeland admitted.

But his role in the fantasy epic—and his ability to perform even while recovering from a broken leg—showcase his range and resilience.

“Disney was on board with me continuing wrestling while I filmed. My first day walking without my boot was on set.”

Despite his growing success in Hollywood, Copeland says wrestling remains his priority.

“The acting kind of fell in my lap. I still want to do it, but it will have to wrap around my wrestling commitments.”

With one foot in the ring and the other on set, Copeland is redefining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate in entertainment—and proving there’s no limit to what a wrestler can do.
