Trish Stratus Reveals WWE Debut Tribute At 2025 Royal Rumble

0

Trish Stratus made her in-ring return at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE as part of the eighth-annual Women’s Royal Rumble match. Though Stratus didn’t secure a title match at WrestleMania 41, the WWE Hall of Famer proved she can still deliver ‘Stratusfaction’ in the squared circle.

Speaking with Stratus after the match, Byron Saxton alluded to Trish’s gray and pink attire possibly being a nod to her WWE debut attire from Sunday Night Heat in 2000. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed this to be the case and was pleased to give fans a throwback.

“Good eye! I just felt that we’re kicking off the 25th anniversary of my career which is huge for me. I’m honored to still be coming back and doing that. Dipping my toe into the current landscape, I thought it was kind of a neat way to come back to this moment and do a little callback. I like a little callback and I know you guys do to.”

It remains to be seen if fans see Trish Stratus back in the ring in the near future, though Trish teased in the interview that her days in the ring may not be over yet. Whatever the case, Stratus continues to prove herself as a legend in the ring with a fun throwback during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Triple H Reveals Immediate Reaction To WWE Hall of Fame Announcement

0

Triple H says his Hall of Fame induction is one of the most meaningful things of his career for him.

The Game was surprised by the trio of Nick Khan, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels who announced him as the headliner for the 2025 Hall of Fame during a WWE Townhall meeting earlier this week.

The former World Champion was asked how he felt about the announcement during his appearance on the post-Royal Rumble media scrum. Triple H noted that he had previously been inducted as part of the DX, but going in alone is very different:

“I’ll be honest. We did it with DX. It was a lot of fun. It’s different when it’s you. While I’ve been a part of all of these, and I’ve seen some talent see it as the biggest honor. I’ve seen other talent be like, ‘Yeah, whatever.’ But for the most part, our talent all see it as sort of the ultimate pay of respect to you and your career.

I’ve had the honor of calling a lot of people to tell them, ‘We’re going to induct you in the Hall of Fame,’ or be there in person to say to them, ‘We’re going to induct you into the Hall of Fame’ and watch them cry and watch them get emotional. Because of our passion for what we do, it hit me up way harder than I thought it would.”

It Was oddly Comical And Surreal: Triple H

Triple H said that when Taker and HBK first came out, he thought that they were there to promote some WWE project. The WWE creative head claimed that it was a very emotional moment when the reality dawned on him:

“When we left there, it was a kind of an oddly comical and surreal moment. Then Taker was there, and Shawn was there. We went straight upstairs and went into a meeting and everything else. As it slowly started to dawn on me, I thought like, ‘Here we go.’

The same moment that I watched everybody else have, that emotions, all flooding over you. Of your career, the people you’ve worked with, what it meant to you, the fans that you’ve met around the world, the moments that you’ve been able to create and share. Fortunately for me, this is not, I’m not out of the business.

I have the maybe almost more enjoyable point in my life of being able to watch all these guys do it now. Help them get there and put it all together. But it was emotional, and I’m excited for it. I wish it wasn’t at WrestleMania, so I could focus on it more, but it’s one of the most meaningful things in my career.”

AJ Styles Reacts To Being Eliminated By Logan Paul After Royal Rumble Return

0

AJ Styles is looking forward to what’s next for him in WWE after his Royal Rumble return.

The Phenomenal One almost recreated the moment of his WWE debut from back in 2016 at tonight’s show. Returning from an injury he suffered in October last year, Styles showed he had no ring rust.

The former World Champion was interviewed by Cathy Kelley after the show. When asked about his return, Styles noted that he wore almost the same gear as his WWE debut as well and said that the fan reaction is what keeps him going:

“Did you notice that I wore the same gear, too? Pretty much the same colors, everything, pretty much. Wow, almost the same experience with the fans. The WWE Universe. You know, it really, it’s been a minute because I’ve been hurt and I’m back.

But man, that feeling that you get when you walk down that aisle and thousands of people are screaming. I don’t know if it gets any better than that. Does it get much better than that? I don’t think so. I don’t know, it’s why I’m still doing this.”

AJ Styles ended up becoming one of the two people being eliminated by YouTube star Logan Paul alongside CM Punk. When asked about the elimination, AJ said that he is not alone ‘in the shame’ but expressed interest in moving forward nonetheless:

“I’ll never live that down, getting eliminated by Logan Paul. But you know what? I got out there and I did what I needed to do. I stayed long there, was in there with the big dogs, and I held my ground.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see the one coming behind me, who apparently jumped on the table, scaffold his way back over to the steps and caught me off guard. But this is the WWE. You will lose. You will win. Accept it. Move on. Next Big Thing.”

Joe Hendry Reacts To His Royal Rumble Appearance

0

Joe Hendry is back on his quest to get a match against John Cena after his Royal Rumble appearance.

The TNA Champion continued the tradition of representing the Anthem-owned promotion at the first WWE PPV of the year by entering the men’s Royal Rumble at #15. Hendry got a moment to shine in the Rumble, having the spotlight all to himself for his big pose before being eliminated by Roman Reigns.

The viral star was interviewed by Cathy Kelley backstage after the show where he was asked about his participation in the event. Joe Hendry first claimed that it isn’t the last time he crosses paths with the OTC before once again calling out John Cena for a match:

“It’s unusual for Joe Hendry to be at a loss for words, but say his name, and he appeared here in Indianapolis at the biggest Royal Rumble of all time. Roman Reigns, congrats. You threw Joe Hendry over the top, and I’m willing to bet this isn’t the last time that you and I cross paths.

But before I go, I do want to share a little bit of knowledge that was bestowed on me by one John Cena. He gave me four words, and it was, ‘Fortune favors the bold.’ So here I am, boldly saying John Cena’s name,”

Joe Hendry was also asked when we’ll see him next on WWE TV and the TNA champion said that he’ll appear at ‘any show’ if enough people say his name.

John Cena was unsuccessful in his quest to win the Rumble tonight as well but he’s already announced that he’ll be entering the Elimination Chamber. You can check out more about it here.

IShowSpeed Vows 2026 Royal Rumble Return, Coming For Roman Reigns

0

IShowSpeed’s impromptu appearance in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match came to an end when he was launched out of the ring by Bron Breakker. Speaking backstage, a crutches-wielding Speed vowed that this won’t be his last time in the ring.

“Next Royal Rumble, I’m calling out everybody. Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, Dom. It don’t matter, I’m getting all of y’all. Just wait until I start training out there.”

The spear Speed ate by Bron Breakker isn’t his first time being levelled by a WWE Superstar, as the YouTube took an RKO by Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40. When asked, Speed couldn’t give a definitve answer as to which move hurts more, isntead simply saying “they hurt.”

The 2026 Royal Rumble has already been announced for January of next year and will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 39th annual Royal Rumble will be part of Riyadh Season, marking the first traditional Royal Rumble to take place outside of North America. Stay tuned for the latest on the Royal Rumble as IShowSpeed vows to do much better next year than his perfomance in 2025.

Nikki Bella Names Potential Future Opponents After Royal Rumble 2025 Return

0

Nikki Bella already has future opponents in mind after her WWE return at the 2025 Royal Rumble event.

The WWE Hall of Famer was the final entrant of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, following other surprise entrants such as Jordynne Grace and Charlotte Flair. While she did not win the bout, Bella showed that she hadn’t lost a step since her last Rumble appearance in 2022.

The wrestling veteran was interviewed by Jackie Redmond backstage after the match. When asked how she felt about the crowd erupting for her return, Bella said that she had to be very careful not to get emotional:

“Oh my goodness. It’s crazy. The crowd just gets you right back into who you are out there. What I sometimes have to be careful is I always want to go into ultimate heel Nikki mode, it’s just like where I thrive. It gives me very Bambi vibes.

You almost try not to get emotional because it’s been so long. I love my WWE Universe family. I love my family back here. Then when you hear the crowd react like that, you’re just like, ‘Oh my Gosh.’ It gives you all the feels.”

Want To Kick Her Off Her High Horse: Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella also named the people she would like to get in the ring with after her return including a number of veterans as well as the Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green:

“There’s a lot of people. I feel like there are parts me of that have unfinished business, long business, with Charlotte Flair, but also with Liv Morgan. That would probably be my most unfinished business with. It’s great to see some of my girls back here.

We still have Naomi and Nattie. I’ve never caused chaos to Bayley, that’s someone…and someone who I’ve really been loving and I kind of want to kick her off her high horse is Chelsea Green.”

Roman Reigns Reflects on the Bloodline Era: “All Roads Run Through Us”

0

WWE 2K25 will feature a special Bloodline Edition, celebrating Roman Reigns’ faction and the wider Anoa’i family. Recently, the OTC was asked for what he thinks Afa and Sika, both of whom passed in 2024, would make to the Bloodline storyline.

“I think they’re looking down on us and they’re proud. I think they’re looking at what they started and they’re seeing what we’re developing.”

Reigns and his family have played a pivotal role on WWE for years now, a period of time that has seen wider changes to the company at large. When asked if this was the ‘Bloodline Era’ Reigns left it to others to define this period of time, but felt the name was apt.

“I don’t think you can go wrong by saying it’s the Bloodline era, the Tribal Chief era. We are the center of the storm. We make everything happen. All roads run through us. Even Cody Rhodes.”

The Bloodline saga has continued to develop, with eyes now on new arrivals including Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. As for Roman Reigns, it remains to be seen what’s next for him after a different family member stood tall at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE.

Drew McIntyre Stormed Off After Botched Royal Rumble Elimination (Report)

0

Drew McIntyre’s elimination from the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble reportedly did not go according to plan.

The former world champion entered the Rumble at #17 and survived till all 30 participants had entered the match. Right after the final entrance of Logan Paul, however, he was eliminated from the bout by Damian Priest.

PWInsider is now reporting that something went wrong with McIntyre’s elimination at the show and the wrestling veteran was not very happy about it.

According to them, Drew was “screaming and cursing” that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of other stories in the match when he got back to the gorilla position.

The Scottish Psychopath did not stick around for long after this. Drew McIntyre reportedly ‘loudly stormed out of’ the Lucas Oil Stadium before the conclusion of the main event.

The former Royal Rumble winner has carved a unique persona for himself with his out-of-the-box ideas and incredible character work over the past couple of years, so everything related to him has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Though if the reports are true, we’ll have to see how the management handles the situation and where McIntyre ends up on the WrestleMania card.

Something went wrong with Drew McIntyre’s elimination from the Men’s Royal Rumble, and it reportedly left him furious backstage.

According to PWInsider, McIntyre was “screaming and cursing” after being eliminated, upset that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of multiple storylines in the match.

The report further states that McIntyre “pretty loudly stormed out of the building” and left well before the Royal Rumble match concluded.

It remains to be seen whether this frustration will have any long-term impact on his WWE status or upcoming WrestleMania plans.

Charlotte Flair Emotional Following Royal Rumble Win: “Im Here to Do It All Over Again”

0

Charlotte Flair made a triumphant return at WWE Royal Rumble, winning the Women’s Royal Rumble Match after being sidelined for over a year due to a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.

Following her victory, Flair opened up about the emotional journey during the WWE Royal Rumble Post-Show press conference.

“I really don’t want to break down,” she admitted. “This was the longest I’ve been away since I started in 2012, and I got into this business because of my little brother.

When my knee injury happened in December, I kept thinking, ‘I can’t go out this way.’ It made me realize how far I’ve come and why I started in the first place.”

She also shared a lighthearted moment from her entrance, revealing she struggled to remove her robe due to the long hiatus.

“Good thing I remembered how to wrestle because I couldn’t get my robe off,” she joked.

Flair’s victory cements her place in WWE history, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown at WrestleMania.

Alexa Bliss Makes WWE Return In Women’s 2025 Royal Rumble Match

0

The WWE Royal Rumble is typically a night of surprise returns and the 2025 Women’s Rumble is proving to be no exception. After over two years away, Alexa Bliss returned as part of the match as the #21 entrant.

Bliss had been out of action since the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE, where she had unsuccesfully challenged then-Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. The following month, Bliss shared that she and her husband Ryan Cabrera were expecting. In November 2023, the couple welcomed their daughter Hendrix into the world.

Bliss’ return comes after reports and speculation on the future of the former Women’s Champion. Bliss and WWE had reportedly been at odds over contractual issues. While Bliss reportedly wanted a new deal, WWE wanted her to continue on her previous contract with time added. This issue resulted in Bliss’ return on the January 13, Raw being nixed and plans for her to work with the Wyatt Sicks being scrapped.

On commentary, Bliss’ contract issues were alluded to, with Michael Cole saying he thought that Bliss was never going to return. Now, the Goddess of WWE is back and ready to take the WWE Women’s roster by storm.

Spoiler On The Return Of Big Star Planned For The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble

0

WWE fans should anticipate a surprise appearance by Alexa Bliss at tonight’s Royal Rumble. PWInsider.com reports that Bliss has been spotted backstage at the WWE Royal Rumble PLE and is expected to appear on the broadcast.

Although Bliss has posted social media content suggesting she is at home, that is reportedly not the case. This marks a shift from earlier reports stating there had been no movement in negotiations between Bliss and WWE regarding her return, and there had been no discussions about her appearing tonight.

Initial plans called for Bliss to return on Raw in San Jose several weeks ago, but stalled contract negotiations led to those plans being scrapped. Talks reportedly hit a standstill when Bliss’ representatives pushed for a new deal, while WWE preferred she fulfill the terms of her previous contract, which was in place before she took maternity leave in January 2023.

On Friday, the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter featured a report from Dave Meltzer stating that the two sides remain far apart in negotiations, with sources doubting a new agreement will be reached. Clearly, things have changed.

Bliss has not appeared on WWE television since January 2023 due to her maternity leave.

Kevin Nash’s Bold 2025 Royal Rumble Picks: CM Punk and Nia Jax

0

Wrestling legend Kevin Nash recently shared his predictions for the upcoming Royal Rumble on the Kliq This Podcast, picking CM Punk as his top choice for the men’s match and Nia Jax as the likely winner in the women’s division.

“I think I’m gonna go with CM Punk as my choice in the men’s Rumble,” Nash stated. “And I think—how does Jax not win the women’s Rumble?”

CM Punk’s return to WWE has been one of the most talked-about moments in recent wrestling history. If Nash’s prediction holds, a Rumble victory would set up a potential WrestleMania main event for Punk, continuing his redemption arc. Given Punk’s past success and star power, many fans see him as a natural fit for the win. However, with top-tier competitors like Cody Rhodes and Gunther in the mix, it won’t be an easy road to victory.

Nash’s belief in Nia Jax as the likely women’s Rumble winner is based on her sheer physical dominance. Jax has been positioned as one of WWE’s most powerful female superstars, and a victory could solidify her as a major player heading into WrestleMania season. However, challengers like Bayley and Becky Lynch remain strong contenders.

The John Cena Factor

Beyond the Rumble, Nash also weighed in on John Cena’s potential future in WWE, suggesting that if he were booking, Cena would win his record-breaking 17th world title in his final opportunity.

“He would win on his last opportunity possible to break the record of 17, and he would leave on a win just the same way he left and never turned heel,” Nash explained.

With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, fans are eager to see if Nash’s predictions hold true. Will CM Punk make a triumphant return by winning the Rumble? Can Nia Jax power through the competition? And will WWE set the stage for John Cena’s historic moment? The road to WrestleMania is heating up, and all eyes are on Indianapolis tonight.

Roman Reigns Declares: “I’m in My Prime, Bloodline Story Isn’t Ending”

0

Roman Reigns has responded to WWE fans questioning if the Bloodline storyline is winding down. The Tribal Chief makes it cyrstal clear: there’s still plenty left to explore.

The latest chapter in the Bloodline saga unfolded during WWE’s Raw debut on Netflix (January 6), where Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat to reclaim the Ula Fala and reaffirm his status as the Tribal Chief. With the storyline dominating WWE television since his return in August 2020, fans have speculated about when it might come to an end.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Reigns dismissed the idea that the story is nearing its conclusion, emphasizing its continued potential:

“I think there is so much meat left on the bone and so many different ways to go. I’ve only given X amount. There are so many more layers for me to showcase. There are so many more layers for Jey, Jimmy [Uso], Solo [Sikoa], Jacob, or Tama [Tonga].

We have so many great characters. For the Wiseman. There are so many more layers to showcase. We’re all in our prime. I’m in the best shape of my life. Wiseman is getting into the best shape.”

Reigns further reinforced his confidence in the storyline’s longevity. For someone who has done it all and been the company’s top box office attraction for a few years, he’s not looking to hang it up any time soon.

“It’s one of those things where, I think we can do this forever. I really do. A lot of people were like, ‘3rd inning.’ That was game one. It’s a seven-game series. I’m not trying to bring up these analogies to pinpoint timelines. That’s me saying confidently I can run this thing for two more years, no problem.”

As WWE’s top attraction, Reigns’ belief in the Bloodline story’s continued success suggests that fans can expect more twists and turns in the coming years. He’ll compete in his first Royal Rumble match in five years in just a matter of hours.

His lengthy reign kept him out of Rumble matches for the past four years, with his last appearance in 2020 ending as the runner-up to Drew McIntyre.

Now, for the first time under his current persona, Reigns is set to enter the high-stakes match with the potential to reclaim his dominance. With WWE legends like John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre also competing, the 2025 Royal Rumble promises to be an electrifying event filled with surprises.

Will the ‘Tribal Chief’ make a statement in his first Rumble match in five years? Fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
