The action at the March 24, 2025, edition of WWE Raw didn’t end when the show went off the air as the crowd in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro were treated to an epic six-man tag-team match. After the show went off the air, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes teamed up to take on the Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito.

The match had plenty of post-show antics that demonstrated the fun, laid-back atmosphere when the cameras aren’t rolling. As Cody made his entrance, Punk jumped into the crowd and played the overexcuberant fan of the American Nightmare. A confrontation between CM Punk and Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez before the match left Punk running in fear of the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Once the match got underway, these antics continued. Fans chanted for Punk just as the match began, prompting Rey to make a tag to the Best in the World. Once that happened, fans immediately began chanting for Cody, prompting Punk to make the tag to the American Nightmare. Completing the trifecta, fans then chanted for Rey Mysterio and the WWE Hall of Famer was tagged in.

The referee broke out a cartwheel to eject Morgan and Rodriguez and the trio of Punk, Mysterio, and Rhodes got the win after a trifecta of finishers on Carlito. After the match, the three spoke about competing in Glasgow while Rhodes and Punk paid tribute to Rey Mysterio.

WWE has confirmed that The Natural Disasters—Earthquake (John Tenta) and Typhoon (Fred Ottman)—will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Known for their imposing size and dominance in the early 1990s, the tag team left a lasting legacy in professional wrestling.

Formed in late 1990, The Natural Disasters captured the WWE Tag Team Championship in 1992 and held the titles for 85 days. During their reign, they faced top teams such as Money Inc., The Legion of Doom, and The Nasty Boys.

Earthquake, who passed away in 2006 from cancer at age 42, had a background in sumo wrestling and found success in Japan before his WWE run. Typhoon, still active at 68, previously competed under the name Tugboat and was a heavyweight champion in Championship Wrestling from Florida. He is also the uncle of current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

They join an already notable Hall of Fame class that includes Triple H, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger. Kamala is also being considered for induction, though not yet officially announced.

The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Friday, April 18, at the BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Drew McIntyre believes it’s only a matter of time before WWE hosts WrestleMania in the UK. In a recent interview, the former WWE Champion emphasized his long-standing support for bringing the event to British soil and dismissed any notion that others, including John Cena, should be credited for the idea.

Interest in a UK-based WrestleMania has grown in recent years. Cena raised the possibility during a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank 2023 in London, while London Mayor Sadiq Khan has included the event in his reelection campaign promises. The record-setting AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium further demonstrated the UK’s viability for major wrestling shows.

Speaking to The Daily Star, McIntyre said he has always believed such an event was possible:

“These days, I have a very different mindset than what I used to have, in that anything and everything is possible. It’s not just that there’s going to be a big show in the UK at some point. I believe there is going to be a WrestleMania.”

“If you want your headline, John Cena tried to claim credit for it when we came to London a couple of years back. I said it first that there would be a Mania in the UK before Cena started running around trying to take credit,” McIntyre said. “Drew McIntyre said it first because I know it’s going to happen eventually.”

Despite this transition, TKO Group Holdings—which oversees WWE and UFC—will remain a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. Endeavor continues to hold a controlling stake, ensuring WWE remains under its strategic oversight.

There are no anticipated operational changes at TKO. Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro will remain CEO and COO, maintaining leadership continuity. WWE’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategies are expected to proceed without disruption.

The deal provides Endeavor—and by extension, WWE—with greater financial flexibility outside of public market pressures. This could support future investments in content and global expansion. WWE may also benefit from Silver Lake’s tech-focused portfolio, especially in enhancing its digital and media strategies.

As part of the restructuring, Endeavor’s talent and brand representation units will rebrand under WME Group, reflecting a tighter focus on intellectual property and talent management.

AEW Dynamite debuted on October 2, 2019, reviving wrestling’s presence on the Turner Networks.
