Liv Morgan Returns On WWE Raw

0

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan made her return to WWE television on the May 26, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw. Morgan, who had been away for approximately a month filming a movie, immediately reinserted herself into a storyline by confronting Dominik Mysterio during his segment with NXT’s Roxanne Perez and Carlito.

After pointedly shushing Perez and listening to Mysterio’s explanation for recent events, Morgan “informed Mysterio that she plans on addressing things” further with him. However, she stated her immediate priority is to secure “a qualifying match for Money In The Bank.”

Morgan’s hiatus began after the April 28th Raw, where she announced she was taking time off for her role in the movie “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.” Her last match before this break was a successful WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship defense alongside Raquel Rodriguez on the April 22nd episode of NXT against Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley.

Now back on Raw, Morgan’s focus on Money in the Bank signals her championship ambitions, while her unresolved issues with Mysterio continues.

New Title Match Announced For WWE Money In The Bank

0

WWE has announced that WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch will happen at Money In The Bank. WWE confirmed the match booking this afternoon.

Lynch made a shock WWE return at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Lyra Valkyria after Bayley was attacked backstage. They stunningly won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, their reign was brief, losing the titles back to Morgan and Rodriguez in a Raw rematch.

Immediately after, an incensed Lynch brutally attacked Valkyria, turning heel. Lynch then revealed she orchestrated Bayley’s attack to seize the WrestleMania spot, claiming Lyra “embarrassed” her by losing the tag titles. This ignited a feud, leading to Backlash where Valkyria successfully defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lynch, despite xuffering a broken nose. Lynch attacked Lyra post-match, and on the May 19th Raw, Valkyria retaliated by costing Lynch her Money in the Bank qualifier.

WWE presents the Money In The Bank PLE on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA. The main card starts at 7 pm ET. Here is the updated card:

Jim Ross Details Stone Cold’s Support After Cancer Diagnosis

0

Jim Ross is sadly battling cancer once again, this time in his colon, in the latest health concern for the legendary commentator. The pro wrestling world showed Ross a ton of support and now Ross has explained how Steve Austin supported him in a big way. On his Grilling JR podcast, JR discussed speaking with ‘Stone Cold’ over the phone after his diagnosis.

“When we got off the phone, I looked at my phone and we’d talked for 43 minutes. Forty-three minutes. And here’s what your friends do: they call you, they talk to you, and at the end of the conversation, they tell you they love you. And that’s what Steve did.”

Ross didn’t disclose the entire context of their 43-minute conversation, but shared that Austin reassured him that he would beat cancer. The words from the iconic wrestler meant plenty to the man who had called so many of his matches.

“‘Just ride it out. Tough it out.’ I said, ‘I’m going to put my uniform on and go play, and give the doctors and nurses everything they want.”

For Ross, Austin’s phone call wasn’t just a kind gesture—it was a reminder of enduring friendship, and a source of strength during a difficult time. We at SEScoops are continuing to wish Mr. Ross the absolute best in this battle with cancer.

Aleister Black On WWE Return: “It Felt Like Coming Home, Everything Made Sense Again”

0

One month after his impactful return to WWE on the SmackDown following WrestleMania 41, Aleister Black has opened up about his experience rejoining the company.

Black, who departed WWE in 2021 and wrestled for All Elite Wrestling from 2021 to early 2025, shared his thoughts with The Atomic Drop newsletter while promoting WWE Clash in Paris.

Black admitted to initial nerves but explained that he quickly felt at ease. Describing his first day backstage, he noted a “mixed feeling of nostalgia and familiarity whilst there is something unknown. “

However, reconnecting with familiar faces soon dispelled his anxiety: “I remember being very nervous, but then realizing that everything felt the same in the most positive sense… all my anxiety just kind of dropped. And I’m like, yeah, this time around, it’s even better.”

Black highlighted his positive relationships with Triple H and Nick Khan, and praised the “fantastic” WWE locker room. “It just really felt good, it felt like coming home… and I think that was the first time I could ever say it felt like coming home and everything made sense again,” Black shared. “Nothing is like WWE… it just felt like this is what it’s supposed to be for me.”

AEW’s Dustin Rhodes Shares Timeline For Wrestling Retirement

0

AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes has made it clear he has no immediate plans to retire. Still, when the time comes, he envisions a significant storyline leading to his farewell match, potentially akin to Sting’s memorable AEW send-off.

Speaking on Close Up w/ Renee Paquette, the current Ring of Honor Tag Team Champion discussed his passion for wrestling and future aspirations after 37 years in the business. Rhodes acknowledged the eventual end but emphasized his current drive:

“Whenever the end is, it is kind of near, but not too close. Do we ever really retire in this business? As long as I have the passion, I’m gonna continue to do it.”

He revealed that he has given his retirement match considerable thought, stating, “That, I’ve thought up, I’ve thought in depth, and there’s a list of three guys. I’d rather not say them right now, I want to keep that close to my chest, but I do have a plan.”

He estimated this final chapter might be “a couple of years, two and a half, maybe” away, adding confidently, “I think Tony’s going to be okay with that.”

Rhodes also credited his match with his brother Cody in AEW for reigniting his passion for wrestling and praised Tony Khan’s vision for making wrestlers feel special.

Backstage Plans Behind Bronson Reed’s Alliance With Seth Rollins

0

Bronson Reed shocked fans with his return at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event when he joined forces with Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. Some details have now emerged regarding the reason behind aligning with the group.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reflected on Bron Breakker joining Seth Rollins’ faction. He then highlighted the fact that Bronson Reed joining Rollins and co. adds a dimension to the group and makes it stronger.

Meltzer also reckoned that Bron Breakker is being built as a future WrestleMania main eventer and they would want to protect him. So, eventually when the group takes a loss, Bronson Reed could be the one. He explained:

“Yeah. I think it adds a dimension, and it makes the group even—it makes them even more of a strong group because also, the other thing with Bronson being there is that, you know, when you have the matches where they have to lose—and they probably won’t be doing much losing early on—but when you have those matches, you don’t have to beat Bron Breakker, who, you know, is obviously someone they have as a WrestleMania main eventer, whereas Bronson Reed is not going to be a WrestleMania main eventer. But, you know, I mean, he’s—he’s very good. He’s very good in his role.”

Reed had been on the shelf after sustaining an injury at Survivor Series: WarGames last year. Bronson returned during the tag-team match as CM Punk & Sami Zayn battled Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker. In the final moments of the match, Reed came out of nowhere and sent Punk through the barricade.

Sami Zayn was outnumbered before Breakker pinned him for the win. Following the match, Breakker and Reed had a staredown before Rollins hugged him. Reed and Breakker then shook hands. Reed hit a Tsunami on Punk to end the segment.

Backstage Response to Jesse Ventura’s WWE SNME Rant

0

Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura made his return to WWE as part of the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event, adding a nostalgic edge to the show. Ventura called the action for the steel cage match between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre though his commentary caught a lot of attention.

Ventura spoke over Lilian Garcia while the ring announcer was explaining the rules of the contest. Fightful Select reports that Ventura was supposed to remain quiet like the rest of the announce team during this part of the show, though that didn’t happen.

The WWE Hall of Famer should have paid attention, as he would have learned that victory in a cage match can come via pin, submission, or by escaping the cage. When Damian Priest chose the latter method to win, it earned the anger of Ventura.

“Wait a minute, how do you win going out the door? I thought you had to go over the top! What kind of BS is that? He can walk out the door?!”

Fightful Select adds that there was a lot of laughs backstage at Ventura’s rant but no-one was upset. With Ventura expected at more Saturday Night’s Main Event shows, fans can expect plenty more of the Body on the mic.

Shotzi Rejects Fan’s ‘Injury Prone’ Label After WWE Exit

0

Shotzi Blackheart missed much of her final year in WWE due to an injury, but has rejected the notion that she is ‘injury prone.’ On X, a fan praised Shotzi’s work but argued that her WWE run was limited because she’s injury prone. That caught the attention of the ex-Superstar who argued that she’s not been injured often enough to be seen as ‘prone’ to setbacks.

Shotzi suffered a torn ACL injury in February 2024 which would keep her out of action until December of that same year. She was released in May 2025 alongside NXT ally Gigi Dolin and other Superstars. Now, Shotzi is ready to re-establish herself in the ring and prove that one ACL injury doesn’t make a wrestler ‘injury prone.’

TNA Wrestling Reacts To Trick Williams’ Historic Title Win

0

At WWE NXT Battleground, Trick Williams won the TNA World Championship, becoming the first wrestler in the WWE-TNA partnership to win gold from the other side. On X, fka Twitter, TNA Wrestling reacted by adding Williams’ name along legends who have held the gold.

TNA Wrestling also shared a recap of Williams’ historic win on the promotion’s website:

History was made at WWE Battleground when Joe Hendry put the TNA World Championship on the line against Trick Williams, marking the first time the TNA World Title was defended on a WWE PLE.

An epic back-and-forth contest saw Williams put Hendry through the announce table at ringside. Williams connected with the Trick Shot but it wasn’t enough to keep Hendry down.

Later in the match, Hendry went for the Standing Ovation but Williams countered, sending him face-first into the TNA Word Title belt. Williams would follow up with another Trick Shot to win the match and capture the TNA World Championship.

Trick Williams becomes the first active WWE Superstar to win the TNA World Title.

Williams’ win stunned fans in attendance, including TNA President Carlos Silva. The TNA head was shown in the crowd after the match and appeared far from pleased with an NXT talent holding TNA gold.

Williams has been appearing for both WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, a sign of the immsense faith both companies have in him. Now, expect to see much more of Trick after his historic title victory.

Mercedes Mone Supports Big Change In AEW Policy

0

Mercedes Mone is supportive of a potentially big policy change in AEW.

Intergender wrestling is something that is popular in the independent circuit. Both the top wrestling promotions of US in AEW and WWE, however, shy away from it in the modern era.

The current TBS Champion was asked about the possibility of getting in the ring with some of her male colleagues during a recent interview with Variety. Mone seemed enthusiastic about the possibility, saying that she would love to get in the ring with people such as Swerve and Okada:

“I definitely want to have an inter-gender match or a mixed tag match. I think people like [Speedball] Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Swerve [Strickland], Komander, The Beast Mortos, [Kazuchika] Okada, there’s just so many men that I would love to team up with and fight against. Dream matches are endless in AEW,”

AEW President Tony Khan has generally been against putting male and female competitors in the same ring in the past. During a 2019 media scrum, Khan said that intergender wrestling is something we ‘probably won’t see in AEW.’

Even so, the latest Double or Nothing PPV suggests at least some change in Khan’s approach to the whole thing. Willow Nightingale and Marina Shafir became the first women to compete in an The Anarchy In The Arena match at the show and they were not shy about trading shots with the male competitors in the match.

Latest On Liv Morgan’s WWE Return

0

A top WWE star is set to make her return very soon.

One half of the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, took a break from wrestling after landing a role in the latest Bad Lieutenant movie set in Tokyo.

The female star had been in Japan over the last month for the shooting of the movie and said to have received high praise for her work there.

Now, Fightful Select has provided an update on her return to TV. According to the site, Morgan is set to be factored into creative plans ‘imminently.’

This is consistent with the report of Liv being back in the United States after completing the shooting of the film, and the current champion could return to TV as soon as this Monday’s episode of Raw.

The Judgement Day storyline has taken an interesting turn in Liv Morgan’s absence. After being spotted with her a couple of times, Finn Balor recently introduced Roxanne Perez to members of his faction.

While the former NXT Women’s Champion has not been accepted as a member of the group just yet, one can imagine that Morgan will not be happy with Perez meeting her friends in her absence.

It’d be interesting to see how this dynamic plays out once Morgan is back on TV and if she accepts the help offered by Perez.

Tony Khan Reveals Failed Pitch To Scorpio Sky After AEW Star Vents Frustration On Absence

0

Tony Khan has revealed that he made a pitch to Scorpio Sky for his AEW return but the two parties could not agree to the details.

The AEW president was asked about the former TNT Champion’s puzzling absence from AEW TV during the post Double or Nothing media scrum. Khan first claimed that he respects the former SCU member very much as someone who has been part of his promotion from day one:

“Yeah, I like Scorpio Sky. It’s interesting, Scorpio Sky’s name came up recently. He mentioned he was looking to come back. And I had had talks with Scorpio Sky about different ideas and things we can do.

It’s probably, in greater detail, Scorpio Sky is somebody who’s been here from day one and I have a lot of respect, who I really like. I saw that he said that.”

When The Time Is Right: Tony Khan

Tony Khan also revealed that he had actually pitched an angle to the high-flying star but they ended up going in a different direction because they couldn’t come to terms:

“I actually had talked to Scorpio Sky about doing something. We ended up going with something in a different direction, it’s kind of a long story. But it would make a lot of sense in context. Maybe not now at this time.

I had an idea for Scorpio Sky that I think was a good idea. And we talked about it, and it didn’t work out for reasons kind of between us. But also, I think it’s totally a legit thing and I’m fine with it. I would like to use him for a different idea when the time’s right.”

Scorpio Sky himself had not mentioned any pitch made to him when he talked about his AEW status earlier this week. Though he did reveal that his previous comments did not sit well with someone in the organization and it could be the reason for his absence. You can check out what he said here.

Toni Storm Provides Update On Mina Shirakawa Relationship After Double or Nothing Kiss

0

Toni Storm has revealed where her relationship with Mina Shirakawa stands after tonight’s Double or Nothing PPV event.

The AEW Women’s World Champion successfully defended her title against the Japanese star at the PPV. The competitors seemingly put their rivalry behind after the match, sharing a kiss to end the segment.

The Timeless One was asked where the relationship with Mina stands after this turn of events during the post Double or Nothing press conference. The current champion explained that their relationship is nothing serious and they’re just looking for a lovely time:

“Oh, it’s just a… it’s more of a casual thing. Just a bit of fun. Not a… nothing serious. We’re just having fun. We’re casual lovers. Oh, we have a lovely time.”

Apart from this, Toni Storm also proclaimed that her bottom, that’s bigger than the state of Texas, is the reason for her success in pro wrestling.

Storm will now have to face the challenge of TBS Champion Mercedes Mone after the latter won the finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament in the opening match of tonight’s show.

Shirakawa on the other hand is likely to move away from the title picture and it’d be interesting to see what direction her story will go from here.

Tony Khan Vows Victory In Head-to-Head Battles With WWE

0

AEW has been competing with WWE for several years, and the two promotions have often gone head-to-head in the battle for ratings. On July 12, the battle will take place again as AEW All In: Texas will face off with Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Speaking during the post-AEW Double or Nothing 2025 media scrum, Khan was asked about WWE and other companies placing events near or directly opposite AEW’s scheduled shows. Khan likened it to WWE’s scheduling battles of the past but believes that the Sports Entertainment juggernaut won’t emerge victorious this time.

“It’s pretty consistent. I’d say it’s the most event head-to-head scheduling since Jim Crockett Promotions. So a lot of scheduling, they went that way, and I can tell you this will go a lot differently than that did.”

This statement follows WWE’s decision to schedule Saturday Night’s Main Event for July 12—the same day AEW will hold All In: Texas at Globe Life Field in Arlington. WWE also ran NXT Battleground directly opposite AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view this week.

As WWE continues to position itself in direct competition, Khan remains unfazed and confident in AEW’s ability to stand strong.

Mercedes Moné: AEW Women’s Title Win Will Start My Revolution

0

Mercedes Moné has won the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, earning the “CEO” a shot at AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Speaking at the Double or Nothing 2025 post-show media scrum, Moné projected confidence heading into their high-profile title clash at All In.

“I’m ready to dethrone the ‘Timeless’ one, and we’re gonna go onto the revolution of Mercedes Moné.”

Though Moné is confident, she made it clear that she doesn’t take Storm lightly. In fact, Moné revealed that Storm was a key influence in her decision to sign with AEW in 2024.

“She’s legit one of the reasons why I came to AEW. She put AEW on storm for me. I couldn’t stop watching every single week because of her.”

Currently, Moné holds the AEW TBS Championship, the RevPro British Women’s Championship, and now the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Championship. Although she recently lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Title to AZM, Moné is aiming to claim even more gold.

Come All In on July 12 at Globe Life Field, Moné has her sights set on adding the AEW Women’s World Championship to her collection, aiming to become the first woman in AEW to hold both top women’s titles simultaneously.

Hangman Page: The AEW World Title Shouldn’t Be Hidden

0

“Hangman” Adam Page is heading to AEW All In: Texas with a shot at the AEW World Championship firmly in his sights. At AEW Double or Nothing 2025, Page defeated Will Ospreay to win the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament, earning a title opportunity against Jon Moxley.

During the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, Page spoke about the significance of All In being AEW’s first stadium-sized event in the United States.

“It’s a testament that this is successful. I’m not from somewhere else, I wasn’t established somewhere else, I’m homegrown… That is a testament that All Elite Wrestling has been a huge, gigantic success.”

Page now hopes to reclaim the AEW World Championship—a title fans haven’t seen in months. Since winning the belt in 2024, Jon Moxley has kept it sealed in a briefcase, a move Page is determined to undo.

“For so long, the world champion that I’ve had my eyes set on from the very first Double or Nothing has been hidden in a briefcase. It should be a shining light to the world and a testament to what All Elite Wrestling is and what it’s about.”

Page ended his remarks with a declaration: he intends to “be the one to take it out” of the briefcase at All In on July 12. However, standing in his way is Jon Moxley and the formidable Death Riders.

Mercedes Moné Hits One Year As Champion, Wins Owen Hart Tournament

0

Mercedes Moné has reached a major milestone in her wrestling career, marking one full year as AEW TBS Champion. Moné originally captured the title at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 on May 26, defeating Willow Nightingale in her debut match for the promotion.

Over the past year, Moné has successfully defended the title 17 times, with victories over top AEW talent including Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, Stephanie Vaquer, Anna Jay, and others. She remains undefeated in singles competition within AEW, and this reign marks the longest championship run of her career. Moné’s accolades also include singles and tag team title reigns in WWE, as well as championships in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and RevPro.

Now, the “CEO” has her sights set on even more gold. At Double or Nothing 2025, Moné won the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Along with the championship, she also earned the right to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship. No woman in AEW history has ever held both the TBS and Women’s World Championships at the same time, but Moné is poised to become the first.

Hangman Page Wins Owen Hart Tournament, Will Face Jon Moxley at All In

0

Jon Moxley has an opponent for the AEW World Championship at All In, and he’s a Cowboy. The 2025 Double or Nothing event took place at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The show featured several major moments, including the crowning of a new Owen Hart Tournament winner in the main event between Page and Will Ospreay. The pair trade offense until Hangman Page landed his finisher and secured the pinfall, surprising the crowd as his music played to close out Double or Nothing.

Page will now challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at All In. The cowboy last held the AEW World Championship in 2022 before losing the gold to CM Punk in their infamous feud that saw both men take personal shots at one another. Moxley is in his fourth reign as AEW World Champion and has held the gold since vanquishing Bryan Danielson at AEW WrestleDream in October 2024.

Page is the fourth man to win the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. He follows past winners including Adam Cole in 2022, Ricky Starks in 2023, and Bryan Danielson in 2024 during his final AEW run. Now, Page, who is also a former AEW World Tag Team Champion, has another accolade to his career.

AEW All In is scheduled for July 12, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Fans can look forward to a major World Title match deep in the heart of Texas.

Mini Tournament Announced For AEW Fyter Fest Title Shot

0

AEW has announced yet another tournament.

Tonight’s Double or Nothing 2025 PPV saw the conclusion of both the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. Mercedes Mone picked up the victory on the women’s side while Hangman Page and Will Ospreay battled for the win on the men’s side.

Before the Ospreay-Page bout that main evented the show, however, the company announced the return of Fyter Fest as a 4-hour TV special, emanating from Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO on June 4.

The announcers also confirmed the first match for this special event, revealing that Kenny Omega will be defending his AEW International Title in a fatal four-way match on the show.

The promotion then revealed brackets for a mini-tournament to decide the other three participants of the bout. The list of names set to compete for these spots includes international stars such as Máscara Dorada and Hechicero:

fyter fest mini tournament

Before this announcement, Kenny Omega competed in a chaotic Anarchy In The Arena match at the Double or Nothing PPV, teaming with Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale & The Opps to face Death Riders & The Young Bucks.

After many unimaginably brutal spots, Swerve Strickland introduced a new pair of sneakers covered in thumbtacks. Strickland hit Nick with the Sneaker for the pin while Omega put Matt through an exploding table outside to end the match.

Watch: Toni Storm Shares Kiss With Mina Shirakawa After Double or Nothing 2025 Title Match

0

Love was in the air at AEW Double or Nothing.

The company presented its latest PPV from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, tonight. The show included some chaotic matches, including the return of Anarchy in the Arena.

The event also featured Mina Shirakawa competing in her first AEW PPV match after becoming a full-time member of the roster, once again challenging Toni Storm for the Women’s World title.

Shirakawa worked on Storm’s leg throughout the night and almost won the match after locking the current champion in a Figure Four towards the end of the bout.

Toni somehow managed to break the submission by reaching the ropes. The two stars then traded near falls before the champion managed to deliver the Storm Zero for the win.

The most interesting moment of the segment came after the bell however, as Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa put their differences aside and shared a kiss for old times’ sake. Shirakawa also kissed Storm’s bad knee before leaving.

This wasn’t the only women’s match of the night as the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone took on Jamie Hayter in the opening match of the PPV event.

The finals of the Women’s Owen Hart tournament saw Mone defeating Hayter. With the win, the TBS champion has earned the right to challenge Storm for the Women’s World title and potentially unify the two belts.

Huge TNA Title Change At WWE Battleground

0

A new TNA Champion has been crowned.

WWE presented the Battleground PPV this year from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, tonight. The show featured a number of exciting matches including Stephanie Vaquer defeating Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

The main event of the show was Trick Williams challenging TNA World Champion Joe Hendry for the title. The bout was filled with some interesting spots including Williams doing a Spinarooni and Hendry attempting a Rock Bottom.

The TNA Champion almost won the bout towards the end when he delivered a Standing Ovation after a sequence of moves. Trick however managed to get his foot on the rope at the last second.

The action then went out of the ring, where Williams sent the Viral Star through the announce desk. Trick then grabbed the title belt, but Hendry caught him in a pin attempt before he could use it as a weapon. After a near-fall, Trick delivered a Trickshot right onto the title belt to become the new TNA Champion.

This is the first time a top act from one company has been booked to hold the title from the other company in the partnership between WWE and TNA.

It’d be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out. Hendry has his TNA contract expiring later this year so we’ll have to see if Williams drops the title back to him or a new contender emerges after tonight.

Former AEW Champion To Make WWE In-Ring Debut

0

Former All Elite Wrestling standout Mike Santana made a surprise WWE debut appearance at tonight’s NXT Battleground premium live event on Sunday, May 25, 2025, signaling a significant new chapter in his career.

During the NXT Battleground broadcast, Santana was featured in a backstage interview segment conducted by Sarah Schreiber. His first WWE appearance was quickly interrupted by the arrival of the No Quarter Catch Crew. This led to a tense confrontation and a heated verbal exchange, particularly with crew member Tavion Heights.

The altercation resulted in a match being made, as officials confirmed Santana will compete in his “first ever match on WWE television” during “next week’s episode of NXT” where he will face Heights.

Santana, who departed AEW in 2024, has since remained a prominent figure on the independent circuit and in TNA Wrestling, where he recently had a notable backstage interaction with Trick Williams.

Backstage Update On Mandatory WWE Talent Meeting

0

WWE Holds Talent Meeting to Educate Roster on Advanced Medical Therapies like PRP & Stem Cells

WWE held a talent meeting this past week focused on providing information about advanced medical procedures designed to aid injury recovery, including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapies. PWInsider first reported on the meeting, which Fightful Select later confirmed, noting it involved WWE’s medical staff and aimed to educate the roster on these developing treatments.

During the discussion, WWE reportedly “noted that they may even end up working with the stem cell company that a lot of talent have been going to in Cancun,” acknowledging the increasing popularity and perceived benefits of these therapies within professional wrestling. The success story of Rey Mysterio, who famously extended his career through the use of stem cell therapy, was highlighted as a notable example.

However, WWE officials made it clear that the company “stated that they weren’t endorsing the therapies but wanted to educate and highlight an understanding, medical consensus and the like to help everyone evaluate options for recovery.” The primary goal was to differentiate scientifically proven aspects of these treatments from those that still lack conclusive data.

According to reports, talent who attended “found the meeting enlightening,” indicating it served as a valuable session for understanding their potential treatment options and making informed decisions about their health and recovery.

Hall of Famer Teases Natalya’s Next Non-WWE Appearance

0

Natalya has competed twice outside of WWE in 2025, showcasing her skills in both GCW Bloodsport as well as the NWA. Now, Booker T has teased that Natalya may be making her way to Reality of Wrestling. During the GLORY 3: Live Stream Kickoff on ROW’s official YouTube channel, Booker and Brad Gilmore spoke about Natalya possibly joining ROW with Booker hinting that something is coming.

“I was just having a conversation just yesterday… I don’t want to give away too many secrets. We keep everything real close to the vest, you know what I mean?”

Gilmore noted that there was a recent report stating that Natalya has expressed interest in competing in a Reality of Wrestling ring. Booker responded by saying he could easily see it happen.

“Let’s just explore. Let’s use that word… I can see Natalya stepping into Reality of Wrestling and making a huge, huge impact.”

Booker’s no stranger to pulling surprises at ROW with several NXT Superstars having appeared for the promotion. Whether it’s a guest appearance, a training session, or something more long-term, Natalya is more than welcome in a ROW ring.
