Elayna Black Says She Had “Gut Feeling” About WWE Release

0

Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in NXT, was released from her WWE contract last month. In a new interview with TMZ, Black said that while talent cuts are always a possibility, she had a strong feeling that her time with the company was ending.

“I did have that gut feeling maybe like two weeks prior,” Black stated. She explained that during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas, she felt it would be her last big event with the company and made sure to enjoy the experience.

This feeling continued up to her final match. “I think it was my last actual match there was I wrestled Sol Ruca on a live event. I just knew… that it was going to be my last time there,” she recalled. “I took a long time afterwards. I signed autographs, which I never really do because I’m a heel… But I knew that. I was like, well, that’s a wrap. Sure as hell it was a week later.”

Since her release, Black has commented on her future, including the possibility of joining AEW.

Drew McIntyre On If He’s Unhappy With Damian Priest Feud

0

Drew McIntyre has explained how the collaboration between the current WWE management and the talents work.

Coming off his incredible 2024 rivalry with CM Punk, many thought McIntyre would be involved in a main event angle during the WrestleMania 41 season. He even had a feud with The Bloodline leading up to Royal Rumble but Drew ended up in a story with Damian Priest for the Show of Shows instead.

The Scottish Warrior talked about his work with Priest during his recent appearance on the Gorilla Position podcast. He was asked if he was not happy with the pivot in this direction and Drew McIntyre gave an ambiguous answer:

“I mean, [laughs] this is WWE. If you know anything about watching the show, you know things are not always as they seem. And if you know anything about being backstage, things change every freaking second.”

Last minute changes were a staple of the Vince McMahon management. When asked if it was still a thing, the former World Champion explained that they still have to listen to the crowd:

“I mean not as much but, it depends on how things are feeling, how the crowd are reacting. If things aren’t playing out how we want them to play out or the fans aren’t feeling something, they’re going to change in a second.”

It’s Very Collaborative: Drew McIntyre

The new WWE management under Triple H has been praised by many superstars for being much more collaborative with talents. When asked if this is really the case, Drew McIntyre replied positively. He gave an example of how the writers respond when someone like him comes up with an idea that he wants to implement instantly:

“Yep, it is very collaborative. I mean everybody is on the same page. Things change and that’s just the nature of the industry. But everybody is communicating now [like] ‘Okay, we’re going in this direction now. How we’re going to make it make logical sense.’

Our opinion matters more than ever these days. The great thing about the collaboration for somebody like myself, you know outside the company. Sometimes I’m like ‘Right, I gotta do all this right now. I’ve got these ideas. I want to throw them out on this one show.’

And the writers are there saying ‘Okay, this is the idea but how about if we split some of that stuff up week to week, so we’re able to tell that story a little bit slower. We have 52 weeks, remember.'”

McIntyre said that this is the good thing about collaboration because you need people like himself who are willing to take an idea and run away with it. However, you also need someone to pull back at times and help them see things from a different perspective.

Triple H Teases Unexpected WWE Collaborations In Coming Times

Triple H has teased collaborations from ‘different sources’ in the coming times.

The Game took part in the Money In The Bank post show where he was asked about Cardi B potentially wrestling in WWE. H interestingly claimed that working with the music star is like ‘hanging on to the tiger’s tail.’

The WWE Executive then mentioned how there are many artists from different categories who want to work with the company. They’re working to determine which one of them deserve the chance:

“There’s a lot of artists out there across so many different things now that are just…they’re fans and looking to come in and do things with us and we’ll vet through them and try to figure out what [are] the ones that can do the most and be a positive for our fan base and just help to expand the product out beyond the realm of just wrestling fans and get the rest of the world into what we’re doing.”

My Mind Is Spinning: Triple H

Triple H also teased some unexpected collaborations for the company in the coming times, claiming that the fans would not expect them to go down that road:

“There’s a lot of…my mind is spinning as I’m saying it, but there’s a lot of exciting things that will be coming up. I believe over the next year or two from a lot of different sources. Many of which you wouldn’t expect us to maybe go down that road. That will be additive to the business.

So I think it’s a really cool time where things are clicking. The world is watching and they’re excited about what we’re doing. You see it across the numbers of everything we’re doing. So exciting time and just keep watching cuz with people like Cardi [B] you never know.”

Apart from this, the WWE Chief Content Officer also answered a question about R-Truth’s MITB return. Though his remarks have already received some pushback from multiple sources. You can check out more about it here.

Top WWE Executive Arranged R-Truth’s Money In The Bank Return [Report]

0

R-Truth’s WWE return did not come easy.

Triple H tried to suggest over the Money In The Bank post show that release and the surprise PPV return of the WWE star was a work. Truth’s son however, pretty much confirmed that it wasn’t the case.

Fightful Select provided some more details on how things unfolded since June 1, when the beloved WWE star originally announced his departure from the company. It was later confirmed that the officials had decided not to renew his deal, instead of firing him mid-contract.

Per the report, the backstage reaction to the news was not good. Many tears were shed over the news and Truth was flooded with phone calls and messages from his peers. One talent said that the wrestling veteran was let go ‘in a very cold and impersonal way’ with an office employee informing him of the news instead of someone from the top brass reaching out despite his long tenure with the promotion.

R-Truth, real name Ron Killings reportedly ignored many of WWE’s approaches during the week when the office realized the magnitude of the fan backlash and tried to backtrack on their decision. In the end, WWE President Nick Khan himself called the released star to work things out.

Previous reports had said that the company did not think Truth’s current salary was on par with how they were using him. They had offered him a pay cut for contract renewal which Killings had declined. The new deal that he has signed was apparently a ‘meeting halfway’ situation.

In regards to the notion that the whole thing was a work, a number of talents have repeated that it wasn’t planned. One wrestler noted that Ron ‘would never lie’ to them and would have instead asked them to not say anything if it was a storyline.

In light of Triple H’s comment about the situation, one veteran said that they can tell Hunter ‘doesn’t like the fans hijacking creative.’ Though a different talent noted that even The Game knows that ‘lying to or working the locker room is horrible taste.’

Stay tuned for more updates on R-Truth’s WWE future after his return.

Triple H Comments On Cardi B Potentially Wrestling In WWE

0

Triple H also doesn’t know what to expect from WWE’s partnership with Cardi B.

The WWE Chief Content Officer took part in the Money In The Bank post-show. He was asked about the music star hosting the 2025 SummerSlam event and if she could follow the footsteps of celebrities like Bad Bunny and enter the ring herself.

The Game responded, saying that Cardi B has been a lot of fun to work with so far. However, he explained that controlling her is not an easy task and it’ll be hard to talk her out of a potential match if she sets her mind on it:

“I don’t know if anybody can control Cardi B. Let me just start with that. So if she wants to, I think it’s going to be hard to talk her out of it. What can we expect? Who the hell knows. The one thing I know about Cardi is, whatever she’s going to do is what she’s going to do, and you’re sort of hanging on to the tiger’s tail a little bit there.

She’s a lot of fun to work with, has been so far with this. She’s excited to do it. I think everybody knows, she’s a big fan and has talked a lot about the business over the years, and comments on it a lot. When you work with people like that, it’s exciting. We’ll see where that goes. We’re thrilled to be working with her.”

Triple H later noted that there are many artists who are fans of today’s WWE and want to be part of the show. So they have to carefully choose which names they want to involve with the company based on who can do the most and be a positive for the fanbase.

The WWE Executive also briefly commented on R-Truth’s surprise return trying to suggest that his release was a work. Truth’s son himself, however, has confirmed that it wasn’t the case. You can check out more about it here.

Becky Lynch Reveals Why Her Daughter Cried At Money In The Bank

0

Becky Lynch says the Los Angeles crowd made her daughter cry.

The Man picked up a huge victory at tonight’s Money In The Bank PPV. She challenged Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Becky got the win in this match after rolling her opponent up and grabbing Valkyria’s tights, out of the referee’s view.

The new champion appeared in front of the media during the PPV post-show. While discussing her victory, Becky revealed that tonight was the first time her daughter Roux attended a live show in the audience. The little one had to be taken to the back before Lynch’s victory however, because the unfavourable crowd reaction:

“My baby was so happy when I came out. She was so happy. She knew her mama was gonna do this. She knew her mama was gonna take this home. She was so excited.

She’s really getting into wrestling, and she could take the cheap shots from Lyra. She could take me getting the cheap shots. She could take me getting a little beat up. She could take that.

But what she could not take was the disrespect from the Los Angeles crowd. Everybody chanting, ‘Becky sucks!’ She could not take that. That made my baby cry. She had to walk out of here. She didn’t even see me win the championship. She didn’t even see Lyra raise my hand. The disrespect. The disrespect.”

Becky Lynch also talked about Naomi winning the Women’s Money In The Bank match. She noted that Roux was rooting for Naomi to win which she didn’t like because the female star previously walked out on her.

Tonight’s show also featured the big return of R-Truth after considerable backlash to his WWE release earlier this month. You can check out what his son revealed about Truth’s return here.

Naomi Vows to Stay on Top After Money in the Bank Victory

0

Naomi has a golden opportunity after winning the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, and she’s ready to rise. In her first interview following her victory, Naomi reflected on the possibilities that await her.

“This is career-changing for me. This can catapult me to where I see myself where I’ve always should’ve been. Been there, but could never really keep it there. But this time, I’m going to get there and I’m going to stay there.”

2025 has also seen Naomi turn heel for the second time in her WWE career, and her first heel turn in close to a decade. For Naomi, turning from face to heel wasn’t just a choice, but a necessity.

“I had to pack the Glow away for a little bit. Glow just couldn’t get the things done at this stage, at this caliber that we’re at in the division. So I had to come up with something else and it’s working. So I’m gonna stay there.”

Now, Naomi has a shot at a Women’s Championship, an opportunity that could keep her on SmackDown or move to Raw. Whatever direction Naomi takes next, any woman with gold around her waist should learn to proceed with caution.

Watch: What Happened With Cody Rhodes And Jey Uso After MITB Went Off Air

0

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso both spoke to the crowd after their victory in the Money In The Bank main event from Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The duo went up against the team of John Cena and Logan Paul at the show. The American Nightmare was able to pin Cena in the end thanks to a returning R Truth. The PPV went off air with the winners standing tall in the ring while John and Logan Paul looked on in disbelief.

The losing team left the arena not long after the PPV went off air. Both Cody and Jey, however, remained in the ring for a while. Rhodes mentioned how this was his first match since his WrestleMania 41 loss, and he told the fans that there couldn’t have been a better place for it.

The former AEW star then mentioned Uso’s upcoming title defence against Gunther on Monday’s Raw before handing him the mic. The world champ cut a very short promo, leading people to a Yeet before leaving the ring:

While Truth’s return benefited Cody and Jey, the whole thing has become a little bit of a controversy after Triple H claimed that it was all part of the show.

The son of the WWE star reacted to his father’s return on Instagram. His story all but confirms that the release was not a work and R-Truth has actually been offered a new contract. You can check out more about it here.

R-Truth’s Son Disputes Triple H Claim About His Money In The Bank Return

R-Truth’s son has reacted to his father’s Money In The Bank return.

Triple H was asked about WWE backtracking on their decision to release the wrestling veteran during the Money In The Bank post-show. The WWE Chief Content Officer tried to suggest that they had planned the whole thing out, saying that it was all ‘part of the show.’

Christopher Killings, the son of the WWE superstar, reacted to the PPV on his Instagram. He confirmed that his father has signed a new deal with the company, dubbing it as Truth’s ‘last run.’ In a now-deleted story, Christopher also called out Triple H for suggesting that the whole thing was a work:

R Truth attacked John Cena during the main event tag team match. Cena, who teamed with Logan Paul, was facing the duo of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in the bout.

The American Nightmare was able to pin the 17-time world champion after this surprise development, potentially earning him a future title shot against Cena.

Rhodes was even asked about the same during his MITB post-show appearance, but he shied away from the answer, saying that it was a victory of their team.

Latest backstage reports also suggest that R-Truth’s WWE return was only put together in the last few days after seeing the fan backlash. You can check out more about it here.

Triple H Says WWE’s Turnaround On R-Truth Was ‘All Part of The Show’

0

Triple H had only a brief comment about R-Truth’s surprise WWE return.

Fans were not happy when the news of the wrestling veteran’s release came out earlier this month. They made their voices heard on every possible occasion, with stars such as CM Punk and John Cena being forced to acknowledge the Truth chants at recent WWE shows.

During the post Money In The Bank press conference, The WWE Chief Content officer was asked if the fan reaction played a role in the decision to bring R-Truth back at the PPV, or if there was something else that made them decide on it. Triple H answered the question in select words, saying that it was all part of the show:

“I love that question. [Are you] enjoying the show? All part of the show, man.”

While Triple H tried to suggest that Truth’s release was part of the storyline, Cody Rhodes pretty much confirmed during his own MITB-post show appearance that the fan reaction was what made the officials change their minds.

The latest backstage updates also suggest that the former NWA World Champion’s return was only finalized in the days before the latest WWE PPV. You can check out more about it here.

Big E Praises Naomi After WWE Money in the Bank Win

0

Naomi is Miss Money in the Bank, in one of the biggest victories in the lengthy career of the veteran Superstar. Speaking on the post-show event, Big E shared how Naomi’s victory is long overdue.

“I have known this woman for 16 years and to see you have your best run now, to see everything you’ve been through over the last several years, to see your growth, to see you go to TNA, be a World Champion, to see everything you’ve put up and endured. And I know that the people and I, we don’t even know the half of everything that you had to deal with.”

An emotional Naomi fought back tears as Big E spoke of her journey and the various ups and downs. After regaining her composure, Naomi made clear to the fans that she didn’t need their support anymore, but appreciated what Big E had to say.

“Thank you E, that means a lot coming from you because you have been there and seen me from day one. So thank you and I appreciate it.”

Naomi hasn’t held singles gold in WWE since 2017, but that could change very soon. Now, Naomi has a golden opportunity, and every champion should ‘proceed with caution.’

Cody Rhodes Comments On Pinning John Cena At Money In The Bank

0

Cody Rhodes is the foil in John Cena’s final run.

Thanks to a surprise return from R-Truth, The American Nightmare was able to pick up a big victory at tonight’s Money In The Bank main event. Teaming with Jey Uso, he not only defeated the duo of Cena and Logan Paul, but he ended up pinning the Cenation Leader. In the wrestling world, this usually earns Rhodes the right to challenge John for the WWE title in the near future.

The AEW co-founder was asked about this during his appearance on the post-Money In The Bank press conference. While Cody Rhodes said that he doesn’t want to make the whole thing about himself, he noted that he was born to be in tough situations like the one against John Cena in his final run:

“LA, thank you very much. I had someone earlier tell me, and it meant a lot to me. They said, ‘You’re swimming upstream because here you are. You’re the foil for John Cena. It’s John Cena’s final run which we all wanted to see and he’s broke the record.’ What a position that is for me to be in.

It’s almost a lose-lose, but the truth is, that’s the position I was born to be in. That’s the position that I want to be in. I’m not going to get into the talk about rematches or what’s next. I simply don’t want to make tonight about myself. This was a wonderful moment that I got to share with my brother, Jey Uso, and we got R-Truth back. I’m just happy about that. Thank you.”

Rhodes also discussed the surprise return of R-Truth during the post show. While Triple H told the fans that it was ‘all part of the show’, Cody pretty much confirmed that the officials were forced to change their minds due to fan backlash. You can check out what he said here.

Cody Rhodes Comments On R-Truth’s WWE Return

0

Cody Rhodes has thanked the fans for R Truth’s WWE return.

Fans were not happy with the news of Truth’s release from the promotion that came earlier this month. Crowds chanted for him at every WWE show and people voiced their opinion on social media as well.

All this resulted in the higher ups reconsidering their stand and the former NWA champion ended up making his surprise return to the company during the Money In The Bank PPV this Saturday night.

The American Nightmare addressed R-Truth’s return during his appearance on the MITB post-show. Cody Rhodes said that it’s their job to give fans what they want and thanked the people for letting them know about it:

“The truth is, you guys wanted Truth. It’s always our job, everybody up here, everybody over here, Triple H, Nick Khan, it’s always our job to give you what you want, so thank you guys for letting us know,”

Cody Rhodes ended up benefiting the most from this surprise return. After Truth laid Cena out, he was able to pin the 17-time world champion to win in the Money In The Bank main event.

In wrestling terms, this earns the former WWE champion the right to challenge for the title in near future and it’d be interesting to see when this rematch takes place.

Backstage News On R-Truth’s Surprise Money In the Bank Return

0

R-Truth is back, with some changes.

The beloved wrestling veteran made his surprise return to WWE at tonight’s Money In The Bank PPV. This came after he announced his departure from the company earlier this month and the fans, unhappy with the decision, started a campaign to bring him back.

The former NWA World Champion came out during the main event tag team match between the teams of John Cena & Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso. He ended up costing the 17-time world champion the match to end the night.

PWinsider provided some backstage updates on R-Truth’s surprise return to the company. The site suggests that the return was not the original plan when the news of his release first came about.

Truth had already been in discussion for independent bookings and non-WWE appearances, and per the report, the decision to bring him back was only made within the last 72 hours.

An interesting change about the 53-year-old’s return is that while the commentary mentioned him as Truth during the PPV, the WWE star is officially going by his real name, Ron Killings, instead.

The company wasted no time putting Truth’s merch back on their official website after the PPV, and the tweet promoting the merchandise also refers to him as Ron Killings instead of his WWE ring name.

It’s unknown what kind of deal Killings has signed with the promotion or how long he’ll be sticking around. After tonight’s development, we can expect to get atleast one more confrontation between him and John Cena in coming weeks.

R-Truth Returns at WWE Money in the Bank, Attacks John Cena

0

WWE Money in the Bank went off the air in stunning fashion with the shocking return of R-Truth. The show’s main event saw Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul battle World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in a deeply personal encounter.

Momentum swung back and forth between the two teams. When it looked like the heels would win, thanks to Cena using his title on Rhodes, a hooded individual attacked the ‘Unseen Seventeen.’ This masked man was revealed to be Truth and Rhodes would capitalize on his return to pin the man who beat him at WrestleMania 41.

Truth’s return comes after he revealed that he had been released from WWE. The decision to cut Truth was met with widespread criticism from fans and wrestlers alike. Many took issue with the release given Truth’s longevity and popularity within WWE.

Now, Truth is back, raising the question as to whether WWE listened to the backlash, or if this was the plan all along. Whatever the case, R-Truth is back and ready to battle the man he once considered his ‘childhood hero.’

Becky Lynch Wins Women’s Intercontinental Title at WWE Money in the Bank 2025

0

Becky Lynch has another championship to her name after capturing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank. In the third match of the night, Lynch captured the gold from Lyra Valkyria, making Becky the second Superstar to hold the gold.

Lynch won more than just gold at Money in the Bank. As per the stipulation of the match, Valkyria was forced to raise Lynch’s hand after the match. Lyra kept her word, but when Lynch demanded that Valkyria put the title around the new champion’s waist, that proved too much. While Valkyria did just that, she also attacked the new champion.

Valkyria and Lynch kicked off their feud on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, when the pair lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles they’d won the previous night. Lynch would then attack Valkyria and subsequently reveal that she had attacked Bayley, Lyra’s original WrestleMania partner.

Valkyria retained at WWE Backlash, but Lynch’s attack after that match proved their feud was far from over. It remains to be seen where both go from here after this showdown at Money in the Bank.

With this win, Naomi has earned a title match at any time of her choosing for the next 12 months. With 100% of Women’s Money in the Bank cash-ins resulting in a new champion, it is likely just a matter of time before Naomi holds the gold.

0

Following recent online speculation about his WWE status, The Miz has directly refuted the rumors.

He has claimed that they are “all false.” In an Instagram video, “The A-Lister” set the record straight after some fans noticed his social media accounts did not mention WWE any more. It was a change they linked to R-Truth’s recent departure announcement.

“My thing is everyone get off of social media and don’t listen to any of it because it’s all false. Everything I’ve seen about me is false. I didn’t want to address this. I thought it would just go away. I didn’t want to draw attention to it because if I said something, then it might draw more attention, and I just didn’t want that. But it just keeps going. I will say it like it is. As far as X, Instagram, and TikTok, and my I’ve never changed any of them recently. The last time I changed my Twitter profile was probably five years ago. It still says Twitter on it. It doesn’t say X. I haven’t changed that in five years. I haven’t unfollowed WWE at all. WWE and I are in very good standings. We just dropped Miz Golf, which is part of WWE’s YouTube.”

The Miz is currently away from WWE to fholm American Gladiators for Prime Video. He serves as the host of the show.

Unlike many major wrestling events, Worlds Collide will be completely free to watch worldwide via WWE’s YouTube channel, making it accessible to international audiences without subscription barriers.

Storyline Background

The event builds on months of developing storylines across WWE programming. Legado del Fantasma’s internal struggles have been a focal point on both NXT and SmackDown, while the NXT North American Championship picture exploded following Ethan Page’s recent victory. The women’s tag team match stems from AAA wrestlers interfering in NXT programming, creating natural cross-promotional friction.

AAA’s involvement brings authentic lucha libre flavor to the event, with their colorful characters and high-flying style contrasting perfectly with WWE’s sports entertainment approach.

WWE Worlds Collide 2025 represents a new chapter in professional wrestling’s evolution, blending the best of American sports entertainment with authentic Mexican lucha libre tradition.

With championship gold on the line, personal rivalries reaching their peak, and historic firsts being achieved, this free YouTube stream is must-watch entertainment for wrestling fans worldwide.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM ET for what promises to be an historic afternoon of international wrestling action from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Bayley Makes Non-WWE Appearance Amid Ongoing TV Absence

Fans haven’t seen Bayley on WWE TV in over a month, but the Role Model is making ways outside of the Sports Entertainemtn juggernaut. This week, Bayley has been training with Lyra Valkyria’s fiance LJ Cleary and accompanied him to the ring at Big Time Wrestling.

Bayley hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since before WrestleMania 41, where she was taken out of action by a mystery attacker. Her attacker was later revealed to be Becky Lynch, who replaced Bayley in a Women’s Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania. At Backlash, Lynch goaded Cleary, who was in the crowd supporting Valkyria, but came up short against the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Bayley’s teaming with Cleary came just one day before Valkyria and Lynch battle once more at WWE Money in the Bank over the Intercontinental Title. As for Bayley, it remains to be seen when fans will see her in a WWE ring again, but she’s having a blast amid her hiatus.
