CM Punk: I Don’t Think WWE Wants Us To Be Outwardly Political

0

CM Punk has shared his perspective on WWE’s approach to talent, talking about politics in public, whether that be on social media or in interviews. During an appearance on the Ringer Wrestling Show, Punk suggested that WWE prefers its performers to refrain from making political statements.

“I don’t think the company wants us to be outwardly political. I don’t think, and I do feel there is probably different rules for different people…” he stated, hinting at a potential inconsistency in how such guidelines might be applied across the roster.

He then alluded to his own political leanings.

“I think it’s pretty obvious what my ‘politics’ are. I’ve never understood Democratic or Republican glazing President. [The] President should just do his job. If you’re wearing hats and shirts promoting the President and all that stuff, and we have very much seen recently all these people who have voted against their best interests because they thought this President was just going to do bad stupid sh*t to the people they don’t like.”

Punk then shifted to the complex expectations placed on entertainers in today’s world.

“It’s a strange, ugly world out there. The only thing I can do is be true to myself and implement and be a voice for myself and my family and my community, and then the world,” he asserted. He expressed frustration with demands from online critics, using a hypothetical example: “I don’t know what people want from us as entertainers. I’m just supposed to quit my job because somebody on Twitter says WWE is a ‘MAGA company?’ Okay. You’re on Lord Elon Musk’s f*cking Twitter saying stupid sh*t. Shut the f*ck up. What have you done?”

Expanding on his approach to making a positive impact, Punk stated:

“I’ve done a lot, I just don’t broadcast it. I put my money where my mouth is, and the money I make goes to helping impoverished people. I don’t need to write my name in on a f*cking GoFundMe to make me feel better about the sh*tty person I am.”

Jey Uso Talks Retirement: ‘I Feel the Years Catching Up’

0

Jey Uso has recently confirmed that he has entered the latter stages of his career but he will still be around to perform for the next couple of years.

During a recent interview on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Jey Uso, reflected on his illustrious pro wrestling career but highlighted that he is on the end of his in-ring journey. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso, who will soon hit 40, said that age is catching up with him. He still feels strong and passionate about wrestling but he has also started to consider exploring other opportunities beyond the ring. Here is what he said:

“I’m on the end of my career. I feel like I still have a couple years left. I still feel strong, but this is the first time I kind of felt the years are catching up on me. I think I’m getting older. I’ll be 40 in August. I love wrestling. Wrestling is everything. I’m just getting to the point where I want to venture out a little bit more.”

Jey Uso started his WWE career as part of the tag team with his brother Jimmy Uso. They achieved significant success and won the tag-team titles eight times. He later transitioned to a singles star and won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and WWE Intercontinental title.

Jey Uso’s meteoric rise to the main event picture is certainly commendable. He shocked the world when he eliminated 16-time World Champion John Cena to win this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match in February. He earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Jey is not headlining either of the nights, but he is fine with it as he is set to compete in the biggest match of his career at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

John Cena: I Don’t Care Who Hears It, I Love Vince McMahon

0

Vince McMahon has been gone from WWE for over a year, and the consensus among many is that his exit is for the best. McMahon stepped down from WWE in 2024 due to Janel Grant’s lawsuit, though has denied that his relationship with Grant was anything but consensual.

One of McMahon’s biggest success stories is John Cena, today on the verge of a 17th WWE World Championship reign. Speaking to the New York Times, Cena boldly declared that his love for McMahon has never wavered despite the shocking allegations against him.

“I don’t care who hears it: I love Vince… when I love somebody, I love them wholeheartedly.”

Cena made clear that he is not “downplaying anything that needs decided or allegations of any kind.” The WWE icon also acknowledged that his comment will not go over well with many fans.

“I know people are going to be angry about that, but they can’t put their value on my relationship with somebody I love.”

Cena’s comments may come as surprising, given that many names in the wrestling world have distanced themselves from McMahon in wake of the allegations. CM Punk and Seth Rollins, both of whom will join Cena at WrestleMania 41, have spoken out against McMahon. Punk has called the allegations “indefensible” while Rollins have said that if the claims are true, anyone involved should get what’s coming.

As for Cena, he has a different stance on McMahon and won’t reject the man he owes much of his success towards. Though Vince is no longer a factor in WWE, the billionaire’s connection to ‘Big Match John’ remains as strong as ever.

Jey Uso: I Trust Live Crowds Over Online Critics

0

Jey Uso’s Royal Rumble victory and subsequent push into the World Heavyweight title scene has proven divisive among fans. While some believe Jey’s popularity makes him an obvious choice for the spot, others argue that despite his moniker, ‘Main Event’ Jey is not a WWE main eventer.

The debate about Jey’s push continues to wage on social media but Uso won’t let the hate get to him. Speaking to SHAK Wrestling ahead of WrestleMania 41, Jey had some choice words for those who take his work apart behind a keyboard.

“The internet wrestling… like what? I don’t know what that is. Is that a person? Like what y’all look like?

While haters type away, Jey travels the world entertaining fans and his charisma has made him one of WWE’s most popular stars. Despite what some online may have to say, Jey believes the crowd responses he hears weekly speak volumes.

“I’m out there shaking arenas, Uce and they matter more. And you want to be out there, cuz the whole arena’s gonna be doing this, and you gonna want to get some in too.

come to one of these shows one time, Uce, and it might change your opinion. At least you’ll have fun.

Uso’s comments echo similar sentiments shared by WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. Ahead of his second WWE Hall of Fame induction, the WWE CCO argued that ‘fans’ should spend less time hating whatever is present and more time enjoying the show.

Jey Uso will open WrestleMania 41 when he challenges World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, a spot Jey is pleased to find himself in. And while faceless critics may contine to bawk, Jey is proud that he is able to electrify crowds every single week.

Chelsea Green Reveals Backstage Conversation With Penta After WWE Debut

0

Chelsea Green has revealed her funny backstage exchange with Penta.

The current Women’s US Champion recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. She talked about things such as her reaction to learning about her US title win, potential WWE return for husband Matt Cardona, and more.

During the interview, Chelsea also talked about Penta’s WWE signing. Green had a highly praised match with the masked star during the 4th season of Lucha Underground in 2018. Discussing the bout, the female star noted how it has become sort of a cult classic since then and revealed that the Mexican star joked about a rematch when they met backstage in WWE:

“I did not realize that that would [gain traction]. I mean, it got some traction when it first aired but not the way it has now. Oh my goodness, it’s crazy to see how much steam it has picked up in the past couple of years.

And then obviously, when he signed with WWE, we ran into each other in the hall in Toronto, and he was like, ‘You and me, rematch?’ I’m like, I don’t think so, pal. I think we’re good.”

Chelsea Green also talked about how everyone at Lucha Underground treated her very well. Despite being brought in very late in the season, she was made to feel welcome in the company, and people like John Morrison praised her work.

The Women’s US Champion has surprisingly been left out of the WrestleMania 41 match card. We’ll have to see if her status changes on tonight’s Mania go home episode of SmackDown.

Drew McIntyre Backs Return of ‘Broken Dreams’ Theme Song

0

Drew McIntyre has undergone many transformations throughout his WWE career, and fans still fondly remember his ‘Broken Dreams’ theme song. During a WWE World panel, McIntyre was asked what’s preventing him from bringing back the track in question.

“I don’t know the exact reason behind it. I’m not sure if we own it. I know it was Jim Johnston behind it.”

McIntyre shared that he loves the song and “would love to have it back for a big event. With that said, McIntyre said that if the theme was to return, he’d have to make other changes to his entrance.

“I’d probably slow down to a Roman pace with the pace of the song, so it would take me five minutes longer to get to the ring.”

WWE briefly brought back ‘Broken Dreams’ during McIntyre’s introduction at Clash at the Castle 2022, but that marked the last time fans heard the theme. Nevertheless, fans, and McIntyre remain hopeful that the track will be heard on WWE TV once more.

Triple H Provides Update On WWE NXT Europe Brand

0

In 2022, WWE revealed plans for NXT Europe, a massive undertaking to produce an NXT deleveopmental show across the continent. Now, nearly three years later, little is known about NXT Europe with many fans believing the project has been scrapped.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, WWE’s CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque made clear that is not the case.

“It is [still happening]… I still believe in the expansion of what we’re doing. It’s about the opportunity for people.”

WWE’s announcement of NXT Europe also marked the end of WWE NXT UK, with the vast majority of talent being released at the time. Though NXT UK is now a distant memory, Levesque believes the show could have succeeded in different circumstances.

“The product was there, the interest level as there – the pandemic squashed it. For years we couldn’t move people, we couldn’t bring people in and it just shut it down. I still believe it’s there.”

Levesque still has high hopes for WWE NXT Europe though stopped short of giving a date as to when fans can expect the brand to go live. As WWE continues to expand, including reported plans in Mexico, WWE NXT Europe will be a project fans should keep their eyes on, despite years going by without any updates.

John Cena’s Elimination Chamber Ring Gear On Sale For Insane Price

0

WWE is not missing any chance to make money with John Cena’s heel turn.

The Cenation Leader made a world record for the longest run as a baby face before turning heel at Elimination Chamber. The moment when he turned on Cody Rhodes went viral beyond imagination and broke the mainstream barrier more than any other wrestling moment in modern history.

The company is looking to capitalize on this as much as they can when the memory of the historic moment is still fresh in everyone’s mind by putting a major price on it.

Photos and videos have surfaced online showing the gear John Cena wore at Elimination Chamber being available for sale at WWE Superstore in Las Vegas. Though it’s out of reach for most fans, as they have set the price for the artifact at a whopping $74,999:

There is a healthy market for WWE-related items. The company itself has sold some limited-edition commemorative belts for hundreds of dollars in recent years. Last year, it was revealed that Vanilla Ice acquired Eddie Guerrero’s famous Low Rider for the price of $15,000.

The pricing for the Cena gear, however, beats all the memorabilia deals offered in the past by the company and resets the bar for expensive wrestling souvenirs.

John Cena will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41. You can check out the full match card for the show here.

‘Stop The Madness!’ – Arianna Grace Demands Stand & Deliver Match Be Canceled

0

At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, six women will compete in a ladder match for the vacant NXT Women’s North American Championship. Arianna Grace will not be a part of the match and in Grace’s perfect world, nobody would be either.

Taking to X, Grace was taking a ‘stand’ to ‘deliver’ the truth about the dangers involved in this ladder match. Grace even took to the skies for a spot of skydiving, an act she argued is safer than being anywhere near a ladder. Falling thousands of feet, Grace told WWE to “stop the madness” and cancel the upcoming ladder match.

Should Grace’s efforts be in vain, one of six Superstars will leave Stand & Deliver as the new Women’s North American Champion. The match will see Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Izzi Dame, and the returning Thea Hail risk it all for the gold. Jordan was the inaugural champion, having won the title in a ladder match in 2024, and plans on doing the same this weekend.

As for Grace, she will remain on the sidelines at Stand & Deliver, no-doubt frowning throughout what will be an exciting title match as part of WWE WrestleMania weekend.

How Lyra Valkyria Could Join An Elite Group At WrestleMania 41

0

Lyra Valkyria will make her WrestleMania debut this weekend where she hopes to become one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions. Not only could the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion leave Las Vegas with two titles, she could make history in the process.

Should Valkyria win, she will become the first woman in history to hold a tag-title and Intercontinental gold simultaneously. She will also become the ninth wrestler to hold a tag title and an intercontinental title at the same time. Valkyria will join an elite group including Shawn Michaels, Ken Shamrock, Owen Hart, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Triple H, Test, Kane, and Seth Rollins.

H/T to @WWEStats for uncovering this stat. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more interesting wrestling facts and statistics.

Valkyria will team with Bayley, a woman who’s no stranger to huge victories at WrestleMania. The pair may be a new team but have already proven themselves as they eliminated every other team in a gauntlet match to earn the opportunity at WrestleMania 41. With Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defending, however, winning the gold will be no easy feat for The Role Modeal and the Valkyrie inside Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Update On John Cena Merch Sales After Heel Turn

0

John Cena’s heel turn had an unexpected effect on his merch sales.

The Cenation Leader had been on one of the longest babyface runs in the history of wrestling before Elimination Chamber. Even the Guinness Book of World Records recognizes it as the longest run as a fan favorite before turning into a villain.

One of the biggest reasons fans thought WWE would never pull the trigger was Cena’s unparalleled popularity that helped the company sell a lot of merchandise and move tickets.

During his recent appearance on The Bill Simmons podcast, however, WWE president Nick Khan revealed that John Cena has actually been one of their top merch sellers even after turning heel:

“So, here’s what I thought was interesting about that whole process, number one, John Cena’s merchandise, still off the charts. Top of show, at every event or almost every event. The collective decision to make that heel turn, Triple H, Cena, Dwayne Johnson, Cody, everybody, immediately on board with the whole thing.”

One of the reasons for John Cena’s continued dominance in the merchandise department is all the gear the company has launched centered around the wrestling veteran’s retirement tour.

The 16-time world champion will be looking to make history by breaking the record for the most world title wins in WWE when he challenges Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 this Sunday.

Though many fans believe that the build for this match has not achieved the heights it could have. You can check out what Triple H said about the ‘slightly weird’ build for this WrestleMania 41 main event here.

Naomi Puts Fans On Blast Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41 Showdown

0

Naomi will compete at WrestleMania 41 against Jade Cargill in the singles debut for both women at WWE’s Showcase of the Immortals. For Naomi, this match marks a golden opportunity for the veteran who is ready to walk into Las Vegas with nobody behind her.

At Wale Mania, Naomi made a surprise appearance much to the delight of the crowd. Despite the fans chanting for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, Naomi was through with fans claiming to support her.

“Y’all late! I needed y’all to do that the whole year! When I was asking y’all ‘Pump it up,’ y’all be coming out there tired, stressed out, exhausted.”

Naomi revealed that she is anemic before telling the fans “Y’all know how hard it was sometimes to get out there and dance?” The Glow added that after going through “trauma,” her time in TNA, and returning to WWE, she’s not going to let the fans act like they care about her now.

“When Jade come in, y’all really think I’m gonna sit and go through that s*** again?! You motherf***ers better receive the pumping!”

For Naomi, competing at WrestleMania 41 isn’t just about getting a win, but about cementing why fans should have been on her side all along.

WWE Superstars Dominate At Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII

0

Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII once again saw WWE talent in action in the latest example of the Sports Entertainment juggernaut working with others. Not only did the majority of matches feature WWE talent but it was a good night to be a WWE Superstar.

Almost every WWE Superstar won their fights at GCW Bloodsport, which mixes shoot-fighting and pro-wrestling into a unique high-octane show. NXT’s Charlie Dempsey was able to add another win to his Bloodsport record, defeating Shinya Aoki by TKO.

Tavion Heights kept the ball rolling for the No Quarter Catch Crew in his Bloodsport debut. Heights defeated Royce Issacs via TKO in 8:38.

Karrion Kross earned a submission win over JR Kratos in the definition of a ‘hoss fight.’ Kross got the win with an arm triangle from a back position.

Pete Dunne defeated Timothy Thatcher in an eleven-minute classiv via submission. At one point, Dunne tried breaking the fingers of Thatcher while he held him in a scarf hold.

Shayna Baszler, accompanied by Michin, extended her Bloodsport record to 3-0 with a TKO win over Konami. Baszler sealed Konami’s fate with a flurry of stomps to the back of the head of her opponent.

And WWE’s Natalya proved that she is as tough as it gets in her Bloodsport debut. Not only did the Queen of Harts earn a submission win over TJPW’s Miyu Yamashita, but she brawled with Yamashita after Miyu rejected her show of respect. When NWA’s Kenzie Page flipped Natalya off from the crowd, Natalya brawled with her before security broke it up.

Karmen Petrovic was the only WWE star to take the ‘L’ as she lost to Maika by submission. Nevertheless, WWE’s presence was all over Bloodsport’s mat in an epic night in Las Vegas.

Steve Maclin Becomes First TNA International Champion At Unbreakable

0

Steve Maclin has carved his name in the history books by becoming the first ever TNA International Champion. At TNA Unbreakable, Maclin won the gold in a triple-threat main event, defeating A.J. Francis and Eric Young for the historic victory.

All three men had to earn their spots in the triple threat with Francis defeating Mance Warner and Sami Callihan on the April 10, edition of TNA iMPACT. Young defeated JDC and Zachary Wentz in the opening match of Unbreakable while Maclin secured his spot with a win over Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards in the show’s second match.

Taking to X, Maclin reflected on his win. Once a WWE Superstar who was among many cut by the company in April 2020, Maclin is relishing in being a history maker.

Maclin is already a former Impact World Champion, but his win as TNA International Champion cements his name in the history books. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Maclin and his journey as the first-ever TNA International Champion.

The IInspiration Returns To Tag-Team Action At Prestige Wrestling

0

The IInspiration, comprising Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay recently had a reunion at Prestige Wrestling’s ‘Northing To Lose’ event.

Nearly after three years, Lee and McKay joined forces and competed inside the squared circle. They faced the team of Kylie Rae and Nicole Matthews in a winning effort.

This marked McKay’s first match since she and Lee teamed at IMPACT Rebellion 2022. Meanwhile, Lee has made several appearances over the years. However, she hasn’t been full-time competitor since 2023. Lee worked a handful of matches for World Series Wrestling in Australia in 2023.

The IInspiration, formerly known as IIconics in WWE, are former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. After working with WWE for six years, Lee and McKay were let go on April 15th, 2021.

They debuted for TNA Wrestling six months later at Bound for Glory PPV. After joining the promotion, The IInspiration said the company “feels like home.” They also went on to capture the Knockouts Tag Team titles.

During their hiatus, both Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay have become mothers. Cassie Lee & Shawn Spears have two boys and McKay and her husband welcomed their first son in 2023.

Triple H Addresses ‘Slightly Weird’ Build To WrestleMania 41

0

Triple H has addressed the complaints about the build to this year’s WrestleMania.

Things have been different on the Road to WrestleMania this year. WWE had the big story of Bloodline’s dominance and Cody Rhodes chasing the title his dad never won the last two years, which made the Show of Shows feel extra special. The lack of an overarching story coupled with Mania being in the third week of April instead of first week as usual has made fans feel like something is off with the PLE.

The WWE Chief Content Officer talked about this notion during his interview with Peter Rosenberg. Triple H put the blame on having two extra weeks between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania:

“This WrestleMania build is slightly weird because there’s an additional two weeks from Rumble to Mania that normally isn’t there. And you had all these other shows – January 6, Netflix premiere. All the weeks of Netflix that were after that. Saturday Night’s Main Event. You add in all these other things. So you sort of had to systematically roll things out in little bits and pieces.”

We’ll See If It Works: Triple H

Fans believe both the main event stories, including the triple threat of Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins, as well as the WWE title feud between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, have failed to reach their full potential before the PPV. Having some of the weekly shows air in unusual time slots due to the European tour also seems to have affected the rhythm of things.

Triple H mentioned how generally stories get more intense every week in the build to WrestleMania. This time around, however, they have had to break things up because of having more shows to fill:

“So it’s a different build. Usually you’re just, ‘Here we go with that, boom’, put your foot on the gas and here we are, and usually two weeks out from WrestleMania you’re like, ‘Well fuck, I feel like we’re already there’ and now you’re trying to figure out how to do shit that’s not redundant. Add two more weeks to that now.

So we had to be judicious with how we do things. So with some of this there are places where you can be like, ‘Huh, seems like this took off and then it levelled out, and then it’s gonna take off again.’ So strategic storytelling that in the moment of time, you don’t really see or get. We’ll see if it works.”

Another thing that has affected the card is the unfortunate injury of Kevin Owens. Though Randy Orton who was originally supposed to face Owens at the show is still teasing being part of the PPV. You can check out what he said here.

Chris Bey Is Unbreakable In First TNA Appearance Since Paralysis Injury

0

In October 2024, Chris Bey suffered a career-threatening neck injury that left the former X-Division Champion dealing with temporary paralysis. Since them, Bey has taken great strides (literally) in his recovery, culminating in a heartwarming moment at the TNA Unbreakable 2025 event.

With his tag team partner Ace Austin on-stage, Bey walked out in front of the crowd in Paradise, Nevada to a thunderous ovation. Austin helped Bey make it to the ring where Chris acknowledged that there was a time when doctors thought he’d never walk again. Defying the odds, Bey was pleased that he was living “the greatest story ever told,” the story of his incredible fight.

Fans chanted “ABC!” at the team followed by “You’re unbreakable” to an emotional Bey. When fans delivered a “We Bey-lieve” chant, Bey saw the funny side, telling fans “I’m gonna put it on a shirt now!” Bey and Austin embraced to end the emotional scene at TNA’s event.

While it remains to be seen if Chris Bey wrestles again, his determination cannot be denied. The former TNA World Tag Team and X-Division Champion embodies what it means to be ‘Unbreakable’ both as a professional wrestler and as a person.

Victoria Crawford (WWE’s Alicia Fox) Confronts Champion At TNA Unbreakable

0

In WWE, Victoria Crawford made her name for years as Alicia Fox, and in 2010 became the first African-American woman to capture the WWE Divas Championship. While Crawford’s time in WWE is well in the past, her future may resided as part of TNA Wrestling.

During TNA Unbreakable, Crawford was shown in the crowd as one of the many celebrity guests inside Cox Pavilion in Paradise, Nevada. The fans in attendance gave quite the ovation for the former WWE Superstar.

Crawford did more than just sit and enjoy the show at TNA Unbreakable. During the show, Joe Hendry and Masha Slamovich teamed to battle Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard. When the action spilled to ringside, Crawford put her hands on Slamovich, teasing something with the reigning TNA Knockouts Champion.

Crawford’s brief interaction with Slamovich has already left fans speculating that the former WWE Superstar could soon be a TNA Knockout. Whether this interaction was the start of something big or just a one-off appearance by Crawford, the former Alicia Fox has shown she still has a place in pro wrestling.

‘TV Time She Desperately Needs’: Tiffany Stratton Lashes Out At Charlotte For Trying To Bury Her

0

Tiffany Stratton is not holding back on Charlotte Flair.

The Women’s World Champion had an interview with Gorilla Position ahead of her title defence at WrestleMania. She talked about things such as how she is adjusting to life on the main roster, relationship with Ludwig Kaiser and more.

The real-life issues between Stratton and Flair started with a split-screen interview on SmackDown a few weeks back. A lot of fans noted that the segment made Tiffany look bad, and they theorized that Flair went off script, leaving the champion scrambling to find appropriate replies.

The 25-year-old was asked if she has heard the popular notion that Charlotte didn’t give her the opportunity to shine in their exchange. The current champion noted that she has heard the complain of fans:

“Yeah, of course I hear all the noise. Twitter didn’t let me not hear all the noise. But congratulations to Charlotte, a 15-year veteran buried a rookie in an interview.

I hope she got all of the TV time that she so desperately needs because clearly, she needs it more than I do. So going into WrestleMania, I’m still just, I’m focused on beating her. If it were to happen where if Charlotte beats me, then you know what? I’ve got another WrestleMania. At least 10 more. At least.”

Some fans defending Flair have said that maybe she was trying to test her upstart opponent. Tiffany Stratton didn’t agree with the idea, however, saying that Charlotte was not letting her speak at all:

“I don’t know about test. I do feel like there was a little bit of interrupting and kind of not letting me get anything I wanted to say out. So I wouldn’t say test. I would say more so just being a big, mean veteran.”

Don’t Want To Accomplish Too Much Too Soon: Tiffany Stratton

We have seen Charlotte Flair immediately getting inserted into the title picture after returning from a long hiatus a number of times in the past few years. This booking path for the Queen, however, usually leaves her opponent in the dust.

When asked if she is worried about a loss to Flair derailing her career, Tiffany Stratton replied negatively. The young star noted that she has a long career ahead of her. Losing the title could be a blessing as it’ll allow her to tell new stories:

“No I don’t think it would derail me in the long run. I do think you know it would be time for me to reflect and kind of go back to the drawing board and figure out what I need to do next. But I don’t think it would derail me in the long run.

I’ve got, again, like at least 10 more years in me. If anything, it would actually be kind of a good thing because I’m a year [in] on SmackDown, and I feel like I don’t want to accomplish too much too soon, to where like I get boring.

Cause I just feel like if you run through SmackDown or Raw and you win a title so quickly, you kind of become boring if you don’t have a good storyline. So I do think this could be something different for me if I do lose, and again I could just go back to the drawing board and see what I need to figure out better.”

Fan Stench Drives Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez Out of WWE World Event

0

The WWE World at WrestleMania is a huge fan-convention, giving members of the WWE Universe the opportunity to celebrate their fandom and meet their favorite wrestlers. For fans hoping to meet Cora Jade or Roxanne Perez though, that won’t be happening.

Though the NXT pair did appear at WWE World, they didn’t stop for long. As one fan took to social media to share, Jade said that the stench of the fans made her want to voimit. Jade would produce deoderant before walking out in disgust with Perez not far behind.

Jade and Perez aren’t the only WWE Superstars to take aim at the aroma ementating from fans. In a recent ‘PSA,’ Drew McIntyre reminded fans that smelling tolerable isn’t a lot to ask for.

At least one fan has taken McIntyre’s words to heart, as at the WWE World, somebody produced a bottle of deoderant for McIntyre to sign. Drew struggled to hold back his laughter as he was pleased his PSA had been heard.

Perez and Jade will be in action at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver’s kick-off show, where they hope to earn a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. And while facing six other women may cause both women to get sweaty, nothing compares to the ‘pong’ of the WWE Universe.

WWE Hall of Famer Teases Facing Chelsea Green At WrestleMania 41

0

Chelsea Green is without a role for WWE WrestleMania 41 but that could be about to change. Speaking at a Fanatics Live signing, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella was asked about potentially answering an open challenge made by the Women’s U.S. Champion.

I’m waiting for her to have an open challenge. I might just show up. I keep all my stuff on me, just in case.

Green’s role, or lack thereof, at WrestleMania 41 has irked many who believe the charismatic champion has warranted a spot on the card. Taking to X, Green’s husband Matt Cardona acknowledged his bias before arguing that the Canadian should have something at WrestleMania.

With one more SmackDown before WrestleMania 41, there’s still time for Green to be added to this weekend’s two-night event inside Allegiant Stadium. As for Bella, who last competed for WWE at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE, fans shouldn’t count out an appearance by the longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion.

Randy Orton Teases WrestleMania 41 Plans: I’m Calling Somebody Out

0

Randy Orton has issued a warning to Nick Aldis.

The Viper has found himself in a predicament after Kevin Owens withdrew from their WrestleMania match due to his neck injury. As things stand, Orton is not booked for the Show of Shows. Though this is not for the lack of trying on Randy’s part, as he has been demanding an opponent from the SmackDown GM.

WWE recently posted a video of the Legend Killer commenting on his WrestleMania status while participating in a meet & greet event ahead of the of big show.

When asked if he has any idea on his status for the PLE, Randy Orton said that he hopes to find out at SmackDown this Friday. The former world champion also teased holding an open challenge if nothing works out, mentioning how it’s going to be his 20th Mania appearance:

“Any idea? No but I’m gonna find out on SmackDown, Friday. At least I better find out or Nick Aldis is eating yet another RKO, which I will pay the fine happily. Honestly, I have no idea what’s going on.

But I have my gear, I got my boots. I’ll be all warmed up in that ring. I’m calling somebody out. I gotta do something. I gotta give fans here in Vegas, an RKO at WrestleMania. I got to. It’s number 20, what the hell right? Wish me luck. “

There are a lot of rumors on who could be Orton’s opponent at the PPV this weekend, with speculations ranging from Aleister Black to Rusev.

Though if the plan is for Randy to deliver an RKO and stand tall, it’d make more sense for someone from the current roster to confront the WWE legend instead of a returning star.

Big E Confirms Former Champion’s WWE Return

Big E has seemingly confirmed a big WWE return.

The last few months have seen a number of AEW stars jumping ship. Both Penta and Rey Fenix have already made their debut for the Endeavor-owned promotion with Aleister Black believed to be on his way back.

The former WWE Champion seemingly confirmed another name who would be returning to the promotion during his Fanatics Live Signing. When the card for Miro, aka Rusev came up, Big E said that he actually confirmed the news by reaching out to the former US Champion himself:

“Someone who has just been announced to return. I actually reached out to him and he confirmed that the news is indeed true. I don’t know when he’ll be back. A blast from the past and now very topical because he just announced he is returning to the squared circle in World Wrestling Entertainment.”

After renewing his wedding vows with CJ Perry in March, reports of Rusev re-signing with WWE emerged earlier this month. He is expected to be in town for WrestleMania 41, but there is no news on if a WWE appearance is planned.

Miro or Rusev would likely not be the last name to switch sides this year as Mariah May has apparently already told AEW that she won’t be re-signing with the company. You can check out more about May’s decision here.

Latest On Living Colour’s Potential WrestleMania 41 Role

Living Colour, the rock band who fans hear each week when CM Punk makes his WWE entrance, will be performing on Freemont Street this Friday in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the band coming to the home of WrestleMania 41, fans are eager to see the group inside Allegiant Stadium and that may very-much happen.

Sources who spoke to PW Insider said that Living Colour is playing this Friday for “the reasons you think,” suggesting that the band will perform live at WrestleMania. The band played at WrestleMania 29 ahead of CM Punk’s most recent match at the Showcase of the Immortals. At the 2013 pay-per-view, Punk would lose to The Undertaker, becoming the 21st and final victim of the Phenom’s undefeated streak before it was conquered by Brock Lesnar.

Living Colour recently uploaded a video of their WrestleMania 29 performance, further teasing that they will have a part to play inside Allegiant Stadium. With WrestleMania 41 to mark CM Punk’s first time headlining the show, it’d only be fitting for the Best in the World to receive a main-event quality entrance curtosy of the band’s live performance.
