Mike Tyson Comments On Potential WWE Return

0

Mike Tyson has reacted to the idea of a potential WWE return.

The legendary boxer recently had an interview with Bleacher Report to promote his new skincare line with Dr. Squatch. During the interview, he talked about things such as his match with Jake Paul, the current state of the boxing world and more.

When asked about potentially returning to the ring again after the Jake Paul fight, Tyson said that right now he’s having fun enjoying the money he made from the match that broke all box office records:

“Everything is possible, but I’m having a good time right now just chilling. I’m just having fun boxing with my accountant now, the fact is, hey, if somebody breaks my record, I might come back.”

When the idea of a potential WWE return was brought up, the 58-year-old said, “Oh God, I would love to do that, that’s me at my childhood best, I had a great time.” Mike Tyson was also asked if there is any talent in particular, he’d like to get in the ring with, and the boxing veteran claimed that he can take on ‘all of them’ in one big battle royal.

The New York native has worked with WWE on many occasions. Apart from his famous WrestleMania 14 appearance, he was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 and was part of the WWE ‘13 video game.

He also had a short run with All Elite Wrestling in 2021, so the possibility of him returning to Tony Khan’s promotion instead of WWE is also real.

Spoiler: Top NXT Star To Challenge For TNA Title At Rebellion PPV

0

A top NXT star is set to challenge the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry at next PPV of the company.

The NXT Roadblock event earlier this month featured multiple TNA stars in title matches. This included current X-Division Champion Moose challenging Oba Femi for the NXT title.

The latest TNA TV tapings from St. Joseph, Missouri saw WWE’s development brand returning the favor by sending one of their top stars in Ethan Page.

Page ended up getting involved with the TNA Champion Joe Hendry. Their confrontation led to the announcement of a triple threat world title match for the upcoming TNA Rebellion PPV featuring Page, Hendry, and Frankie Kazarian.

Ethan Page had a run with TNA from 2017 to 2021 before he joined AEW. Originally introduced as Chandler Park, the cousin of Joseph Park aka Abyss, the 35-year-old later turned to his Ethan Page persona in the company.

The current NXT star got to share the ring with the likes of RVD, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer during his time with TNA. He also formed a successful tag team with Josh Alexander. Collectively known as The North, the duo had multiple runs with the Impact tag titles.

TNA Rebellion PPV is set to take place from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. The Hardy Boyz are set to defend the TNA tag titles against the Nemeth Brothers at the April 27 event. An Ultimate X-Match has also been announced for the PPV with Moose putting his X Division title on the line.

Rey Fenix’s WWE Debut Date Confirmed

0

Rey Fenix’s WWE debut date is set.

The company has been teasing the arrival of the high-flying star in recent weeks with vignettes showing a masked star running the ropes on SmackDown.

A lot of fans have been wondering if officials will save Fenix’s debut for the shows after WrestleMania 41 but it appears that we will not have to wait that long.

The company announced on this week’s episode of the Blue Branded Show that the former Lucha Underground star will be making his debut on next week’s SmackDown on April 4. The episode emanating from the Allstate Arena in Chicago will see the show returning to America after their European tour:

rey fenix debut

Rey Fenix ended his 6 years run with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year. He won many titles during his time with the promotion, including multiple tag title reigns and a run with the International title.

Penta already made his debut for the company in January after getting out of his deal early. Reports initially suggested that the two brothers were looking to work together and they would be reunited once Rey got his release from AEW.

With Penta becoming a singles sensation on Raw, however, it appears that WWE is in no hurry to reform this tag team. As Fenix is set to join the SmackDown roster instead, it could be a while before the two interact on screen again.

Janel Grant files to move discovery forward in federal case against WWE, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis

0

Attorneys for former World Wrestling Entertainment employee Janel Grant filed a motion for “a Rule 26(f) conference” on Friday in Federal district court in Connecticut. A Rule 26(f) conference occurs when counsel for the plaintiffs and defendants meet to plan discovery ahead of a federal civil trial.

The filing noted Grant’s attorneys discussed the possibility of a settlement.

“Plaintiff’s counsel, after consultation with their client, certify that (a) they have discussed the nature and basis of her claims and possibility for achieving a prompt settlement or other resolution of the case,” the filing said.

The motion outlined proposed schedules for when expert witnesses would be finalized, and set proposed dates for discovery timelines and other trial matters from now through the end of the year.

Notes from the filing included:

  • Grant’s team says it plans on depositions of 45 material witnesses.
  • Discovery won’t be in layers and would begin after Dec. 1, 2025.
  • Expert witnesses would be named by Oct. 1, 2025 with depositions completed by Nov. 1, 2025.
  • If no dispositive motions are filed, a joint trial memorandum filed by Jan. 16, 2026, with the trial beginnig sometime within 30 days.

Several issues remain in front of the court ahead of discovery – Grant is awaiting a decision by Judge Sarah F. Russell on allowing her amended complaint, which was filed in January. Attorneys for McMahon, Laurinaitis and WWE filed a motion in opposition of the complaint in February.

“As such, given Defendants’ position that a Rule 26(f) conference and report are premature and Plaintiff’s position to the contrary, Plaintiff presents to the Court that the parties are at an impasse and submits the following for the Court’s consideration as her proposed schedule.”

  • If no dispositive motions are filed, a joint trial memorandum filed by Jan. 16, 2026, with the trial beginnig sometime within 30 days.
  • Four exhibits were included with the filing, all four were communications between Grant’s legal teams and counsel for the defendants.

It’s highly unlikely WWE would agree the conference until the court has ruled on the arbitration motions the three defendants are expected to file.

Grant filed a civil suit against the three defendants in January 2024 alleging she was trafficked sexually and assaulted by McMahon and Laurinaitis. She filed an amended complaint in January 2025 including more text message and alleging McMahon was viewing texts from Grant while he was being filmed by a crew from the Mr. McMahon Netflix documentary. The texts allegedly made it on air.

The amended complaint named several unnamed individuals in the original complaint, including WWE wrestler and former UFC fighter Brock Lesnar, as well as several other WWE executives and managers. The complaint also included alleged text messages and photos allegedly from McMahon including other information., such an office that was allegedly planned for construction that would allow Laurinaitis a secret door entry into Grant’s office.

According to the motion, attorneys for Grant, McMahon, Laurinaitis and WWE met during a teleconference on Friday before the filing was made in Connecticut district court. Attorneys for the defendants declined to discuss the conference request.

Grant’s team responded by submitting a proposed timeline to move the case forward.

SEScoops reached out to McMahon’s legal team for a statement on Grant’s proposed timeline and conference. SEScoops made the inquiry shortly before the publication of this article. If McMahon’s team responds, the article will be updated to include their statement.

It’s expected the defendants will await Judge Russell’s decision on allowing the amended complaint to stand and re-file motions for arbitration. McMahon, WWE and Lauriniatis have argued that Grant’s NDA requires her to negotiate her complaints through an arbitration process lined out in the non-disclosure agreement she signed when leaving WWE. Grant and McMahon have argued the other broke the NDA first. Recent federal legislation has banned using NDAs and arbitration in events involving sex crimes or sexual harassment.

Grant rep Kendra Barkoff Lamy of SKDKnickerbocker provided a statement to SEScoops:

“Janel’s Grant courage continues to be an inspiration to so many,” Barkoff Lamy said. “Her filing today seeks to move forward with her purusit of justice and accountability against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE for the horrific sex trafficking and abuse inflicted upon her.”

Grant also filed a motion of discovery complaint against McMahon’s doctor, Dr. Carlon Colker, and his company Peak Wellness. The complaint alleged Peak Wellness failed to handover Grant’s medical records when asked last spring on two occasions. Grant’s team said the discocvery was needed to see if any potential RICO violations occurred.

McMahon, TKO, WWE and Linda McMahon are being sued in Maryland Superior Court by several alleged survivors of the 80s WWF ringboy scandal. A recent ruling by the Maryland Supreme Court said legislation that eliminated the statute of limitations in negligence filings in sex assault cases will allow the suit to move forward. Attorneys for the defendants have requested the case be moved to federal court for jurisdictional reasons.

The Rock Misses UFL Appearance After Plane Malfunction In Air

0

The Rock is safe after an airplane malfunction.

The Great One was scheduled to make a UFL appearance in Texas tonight but he missed the show. In a new video on social media, The former world champion apologized to everyone who was expecting him in the venue. He revealed that his plane malfunctioned as he was flying from his home in Hawaii, and they had to turn back around:

“I’m so sorry I can’t be there with you guys. Last night we had some issues with the plane. About 35 to 40 minutes into the flight the pilot comes back to me. He gets down on one knee and he faces me face-to-face and it’s just me on the plane. Just me and the crew.

He says ‘Mr. Johnson I’m sorry to inform you but we cannot continue to fly over the ocean. We have a problem. We have to turn the plane around and we have to land back in Hawaii. You have my word, I will land you back safely on the island’ I so appreciate his demeanour, his name is Captain David I appreciate his demeanour in that moment. He explained to me what happened, and he said it was a hydraulics issue with overheating.”

One of Those Moments: The Rock

The Rock noted that it was one of those moments that made him realize what is truly important in life. So he is grateful that they were able to land safely:

“When you’re back there alone with just your drink and you’re thinking about this and you’re just, You got everything crossed hoping you make it back safely. You start to realize really quickly of the shit that’s really important in life.

Then you realize the shit that doesn’t matter that you’ve been thinking about and worrying about. Anyway I had one of those moments last night. Bottomline is I’m grateful to be back on ground. I’m grateful to be back home in Hawaii.”

The People’s Champion has not been seen on WWE programming since the Elimination Chamber PPV. So far he has not been announced for another appearance in the Road to WrestleMania.

WWE Hall of Fame: Hart Vs. Austin Is First ‘Immortal Moment’ Inductee

0

The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame just got even bigger with a never-before-seen induction being confirmed. During the March 28, edition of WWE SmackDown, it was announced that the first ever match will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The match in question? None other than the WrestleMania 13 epic between Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

Though not the main event, the epic I-Quit match between Austin and Hart is what WrestleMania 13 is best remembered for. Given the bad blood between the two, WWE officials felt a standard referee could not keep the two in line. Enter, Ken Shamrock, the World’s Most Dangerous Man, who served as the guest official. Shamrock’s role at the event would pave the way for his own in-ring career.

Hart got the win, though not by forcing Austin to say the two dreaded words. In one of wrestling’s most iconic moments, a bloodied Austin screamed through the pain of the sharpshooter before passing out. The moment signified that Hart was too tough to quit, earning him the neverending respect of the fans.

The WWE Hall of Fame will take place on April 18 with Triple H, Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, and the Natural Disasters confirmed to be inducted. With WWE now inducting matches and moments, it remains to be seen what fans will see inducted in the coming years.

Randy Orton Sets Sight On Cody Rhodes & 15th WWE World Title Win

0

Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 against John Cena, but the American Nightmare has more than the WWE icon to deal with. Rhodes kicked off the March 28, edition of WWE SmackDown from London, England by discussing Cena. Before he could speak too much though, Rhodes was interrupted by former ally Randy Orton.

Though not an emotional person, Orton said he loves and respects Cody and has been amazed by what Cody has done since returning to WWE. While Orton is immensely confident that Cody is going to retain at WrestleMania, he will have a massive feud lined up after the Showcase of the Immortals.

“Just like John Cena is going after number 17, there’s gonna come a time when I’m gonna want to go after number 15.”

The pair hyped up a potential title showdown befor Drew McIntyre spoiled the Legacy reunion. While McIntyre has history with both men, he wasn’t pleased to see Rhodes or Orton in the opening spot on SmackDown.

“A couple of nepo babies in the ring having a love fest. It makes me absolutely sick.”

McIntyre declared that he will be the one to dethrone Rhodes as Undisputed WWE Champion, not John Cena or Randy Orton. Rhodes retaliated with an attack but when Orton attempted the RKO, McIntyre was able to escape the ring.

A match between Orton and McIntyre was made official for later in the show. As for Rhodes, he’ll have his hands fall, even if he is able to retain his title against John Cena at WrestleMania 41.

Lex Luger Marries Ahead of WWE Hall of Fame Induction

0

2025 is already proving to be a huge year for Lex Luger. Not only will the wrestling star become a WWE Hall of Famer this April but now the former World Champion is a happily married man.

During an appearance on Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks podcast alongside Diamond Dallas Page, Luger revealed that he recently tied the knot. Luger and his wife Robyn only met recently after Lex went for close to two decades without as much as a date.

“Seventeen years—didn’t date. No women in my life at all. I met this girl last year, Robyn, and we started hanging out a little bit, sparks started flying.”

Luger was previously married to Peggy Fulbright and known for his relationship with Miss Elizabeth during his WCW days. When it comes to Robyn, the couple kept their relationship private. Similarly, the pair enjoyed a low-key wedding on the back patio of his home.

“Friday night on the back patio of our house with just a few people there. We didn’t wanna do the big wedding thing, but it was really special.”

The couple had planned to elope, before plans changed and they had Luger’s friend ‘Pastor Steve’ marry the couple. On the podcast, Lex shared how Steve was the one who turned him to Christianity in April 2006 and ordained Lex in 2015.

Luger is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 18 in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend, capping off an iconic career in the wrestling industry. Whatever comes next for Lex, his wife Robyn will be by his side for the ride.

‘My Ethos Never Changes’ – John Cena On Staying Motivated in Final WWE Run

0

John Cena is nearing the end of his time in the ring but the WWE icon remains as motivated as ever to give his all. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, John was asked what keeps him going at this stage of his lofty career.

“I don’t think my ethos changes regardless of what the hill in front of me is to climb.”

Elaborating on his hills metaphor, John said there are different hills in front of him every single day. Now, John has a new hill ahead of him, WrestleMania 41, which he is ready to climb to the very top.

“There’s one in front of me has its own challenges and I’m just trying to do the best I can to climb the hill in front of me.”

Cena recently turned heel for the first time in two decades, putting new obstacles in the way of the WWE icon. So far though, Cena has succeeded in getting fans to boo him, no easy feat given the wealth of support he has generated throughout his career.

Cena’s road to WrestleMania 41 will lead him to a championship match with Cody Rhodes, the current top babyface of WWE. Cena has vowed to retire with the gold, forcing WWE to create a ‘toy’ for talent to compete over, one without the rich legacy and history of the gold Rhodes currently holds.

A 17th World Championship awaits John Cena at the top of his ‘hill’ if the WWE icon can reach the top as he has before. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on John Cena as he embarks on perhaps the most intriguing run of his WWE career.

Brian Cage’s Knee Injury Altered AEW Dynasty Tag Title Match Plans

0

AEW wrestler Brian Cage sustained a knee injury during an independent match against Chris Masters on March 20 in Los Angeles.

This injury has led to changes in the AEW World Tag Team Championship match at the upcoming Dynasty event, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Originally, Cage and his tag team partner Lance Archer, collectively known as the Murder Machines, were scheduled to challenge The Hurt Syndicate—Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin—for the titles.

Due to Cage’s injury, AEW has announced that Big Bill and Bryan Keith will replace the Murder Machines as the challengers for the championship.

Despite this setback, Cage remains committed to AEW. He has expressed his satisfaction with the promotion and confirmed his long-term contract, indicating his dedication to returning to the ring once recovered.

Prior to his injury, Cage was also scheduled to face notable opponents like Will Ospreay on AEW Dynamite.

Ken Shamrock Discussed For 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

0

Ken Shamrock’s potential induction into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame has become a topic of discussion, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his name is being considered.

Shamrock’s impactful WWE run from 1997 to 1999, where he seamlessly blended his MMA and UFC background into the wrestling world, left a lasting impression on fans. Known as “The World’s Most Dangerous Man,” his intense fighting style, genuine toughness, and devastating Ankle Lock submission made him a formidable presence.

Several key highlights marked Shamrock’s WWE career. His debut as a special guest referee at WrestleMania 13, during the iconic Bret Hart versus Steve Austin match, immediately placed him in the spotlight. He then engaged in heated rivalries with Bret and Owen Hart, with his “Lion’s Den” match against Owen at SummerSlam 1998 being particularly memorable. Shamrock also succeeded in winning the Intercontinental Championship in 1998 and the WWF Tag Team Championships with Big Boss Man. His 1998 King of the Ring victory over The Rock further solidified his status as a top-tier performer. His involvement with The Corporation stable, alongside stars like The Rock and Big Boss Man, added another layer to his WWE legacy.

His departure from WWE in late 1999 to return to MMA and other wrestling promotions did not diminish his impact on the company. His unique blend of fighting styles and his undeniable charisma left a lasting impression on the WWE audience.

The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame class is shaping up to be notable, with Triple H set to headline the event. Other inductees include The Natural Disasters, Lex Luger, and Michelle McCool, adding to an already impressive lineup.

The potential addition of Shamrock to this class would further elevate the event. His contributions to WWE, particularly during the Attitude Era, were significant, and his induction would be a fitting recognition of his impact on the company. His unique background and in-ring style made him a standout performer, and his inclusion would be well-received by fans.

Nic Nemeth Claims Goldberg Match Could’ve Hospitalized Him

0

Nic Nemeth was fortunate to avoid a lengthy stay in a hospital bed after wrestling Bill Goldberg, according to the former TNA World Champion. On X, Goldberg shared a clip of the pair’s SummerSlam 2019 collision telling fans “be careful what you wish for.” Nemeth, who was squashed in the match, clarified that the match only came about as Goldberg wished for it.

When a fan argued that Nemeth is “known basically for being able to get your ass kicked,” TNA’s Wanted Man didn’t take it lying down. Firing back, Nemeth argued that rather than being ‘lucky’ to face Goldberg, he was lucky to avoid a trip to the hospital.

Nemeth’s comments suggest that Goldberg was dangerous in the ring, at least in their one-and-only singles encounter. Though never confirmed, many believe the match came about quickly to ‘undo’ the underwhelming performance of Goldberg in his infamous 2019 match with The Undertaker.

Goldberg will wrestle his final match in 2025, ending an epic career that saw him reach the top of WWE and WCW. While it’s unclear who Goldberg’s final opponent will be, Nic Nemeth is in no hurry to volunteer after their previous encounter.

Baron Corbin Details His Issues With Logan Paul’s WWE Involvement

0

Baron Corbin has explained his problems with Logan Paul being featured on WWE TV.

The former WWE star recently had an interview with Ariel Helwani. He talked about things such as Triple H taking over the creative from Vince McMahon, his NXT run, how one person conspired to get him fired from the company, and more.

Corbin also gave his thoughts on Logan Paul’s involvement with the company and the involvement of celebrity wrestlers in general. The ever-controversial YouTube star has impressed people with his in-ring outings since joining the company in 2022. Though there are many who have criticised Paul being put into prominent positions, believing that the spots should go to performers who grind all year.

When asked if Logan has the respect of the WWE locker room after some impressive matches, Corbin said that he is not sure. When pressed about it, the former US Champion admitted that Paul works hard and that there is some truth to his promos. At the same time however, the wrestling star noted that some of the stuff irritates him as well, especially when Logan is not on the road grinding constantly like other talents:

“I just don’t like those guys that get that super special treatment. It’s not like he earned it from working his way up through NXT. He gets that treatment because of his stardom through social media and through YouTube. So I think he’s handed a lot of things that I think there are more deserving talent of it, but he’s getting the views. And so it’s a double-edged sword. Like, what do you do with a guy like that?”

I Can’t Stand People With An Entourage: Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin reiterated that Logan Paul works hard on his performances and noted that the company sends talents to Puerto Rico to help him train. The wrestling veteran who now goes by the name Bishop Dyer explained that he finds it hard to buy into the struggle of people who have been born with a golden spoon:

“I can’t stand people who run around with an entourage. He’s always got an entourage. They’re nice people, but it just irritates me seeing that backstage. But I think people respect the work that he brings to the table, and the work he’s done to get his name where it is.”

The Constable then recalled his own experience working with Logan Paul during his Happy and Sad Corbin runs. He noted that Paul was nice to him and admitted that the exposure he brings to the table is valuable. Though Baron also claimed that he is tired of seeing Prime bottles:

“There’s 85 percent of the roster that are fighting for spots, and when they bring guys like that in, it just takes those spots without any effort. I think that can be frustrating. So when I say maybe, maybe not, it’s probably a 50/50 split.”

The former Mr Money In The Bank closed out his remarks talking about how he’s somebody who had to work his way up the WWE ladder and go through some tough periods in his career. So it’s hard for him to become friends with someone who is given the opportunity without the hard work, when there are other talents who are constantly working on their craft to get better.

Mandy Rose Fires Back At Fans Over ‘Double Champion’ Claim

0

Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose is not mincing words when it comes to her claims of being a double champion in WWE.

Almost three years back, Mandy Rose was let go from WWE and she hasn’t been on best of terms with the company. At NXT Roadblock, Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia to win the NXT Women’s Title. Thus, becoming a double champion. ‘The Dark Angel’ has since been been dubbed as NXT’s first double women’s champion, and she successfully defended both titles on March 25th.

However, Mandy Rose has expressed his distaste about how WWE doesn’t acknowledge her feat. On social media, Rose shared a post from a fan and accused WWE of pretending their own history doesn’t exist. She claimed that she has been a double champion in NXT before Vaquer. Rose said it was “pathetic” and feels she was “erased” from WWE history.

Fans on social media started to dispute Mandy’s claim and the former WWE star took note of it. She dropped a video clip and hit back at the fans. She said:

“It’s so funny to me that the people that never held a championship before are the first to sit there and argue about what counts as a double champion. Listen, y’all can argue semantics all that you want, but I still held two titles at the same time. Yes, unified them, thank you. And, call it what you want; who cares? Double Champion, Mandy Two Belts, Undisputed Bada**, whatever. It still doesn’t take away the fact that I did it. So you know, y’all can keep fact-checking over there, and I’ll just keep winning. Have a great day,” said Mandy Rose.

However, Mandy Rose was never technically a double champion. In 2022, at Worlds Collide, then NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose defeated NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport in a title unification match. As the title was unified, Rose was never acknowledged as NXT UK Women’s Champion.

Ryan Nemeth Reveals He Turned Down New AEW Contract Amid Lawsuit

0

TNA Wrestling star Ryan Nemeth has called out AEW and Tony Khan for humiliating him the way he was served a lawsuit.

On his Substack, Nemeth revealed what happened between him and the company. In a post on the platform, Nemeth has shared the detail about being countersued by Khan and AEW to compel arbitration in the suit Nemeth filed against Tony Khan, AEW and also CM Punk.

He had previously revealed on social media about being sued by “a literal billionaire.” Nemeth sued AEW, Khan, and Punk in February and alleged breach of contract and assault. AEW and Khan filed a motion to compel arbitration in the case and to have the case moved from California to Florida. They have cited the arbitration clause in Ryan Nemeth’s contract.

“Let’s back up a bit. I was on the receiving end of some pretty insane abuse from my former employer. I did all the things you’re supposed to do: I communicated. I spoke to HR. I spoke to Legal. I spoke to my bosses. I kept records. I have witnesses. I was even offered a settlement. Then, instead of those terms being honored, in a very bizarre pseudo U-turn of events, I was offered a new contract with AEW in lieu of pursuing legal action. (For those of you wondering, I said “No, thanks.”). Oddly enough, I was also told the lawyer who offered me the original settlement had no authority to do so (that sounds like serious organizational dysfunction, but who am I to say?)” Ryan Nemeth wrote.

In his Substack note, Ryan Nemeth stated that he was about to go on-stage for his off-Broadway debut play in Queens, New York City on Saturday but he was approached by a process server and notified that he was being sued:

“The night of our second, and final, performance, I was approached by a man in the theater lobby just outside the restrooms. He said he was there to serve me legal papers (“Hey, sorry, you’re gettin’ sued”), and apologized for doing it at this inopportune time. He was giving me a legal notice that my former employer was suing me to move our legal dispute to arbitration, i.e., to keep everything private.

He revealed that Andrew, the writer and director of the play, saw this interaction, and raised questions about what was happening. Ryan Nemeth revealed:

“I said, Oh, I’m being sued by a billionaire right now.’ Andrew’s jaw dropped. “WHAT!” I could understand his shock- we were about to go on!”

The man then told me he was a wrestling fan, and that his son was a wrestler on his school team, or maybe had an interest in joining (it was hard to keep this all straight, as I had so much going through my head at the time), and he even asked about the play and if he could stay to watch it. To be honest, he was nice enough. I could tell he didn’t want to be doing this to me, four minutes before curtains went up.

I looked at the large stack of paperwork he’d just handed me. I saw the main bullet points: “Tony Khan… All Elite Wrestling… A lawsuit has been filed against you…”

“Did you know this was coming?” the man asked me, quite sincerely.

“Nope.” I told him, honestly.

A friend of mine who had come to the show walked past. “Hey- are you okay?”

“Tony Khan is suing me.” I held up the paperwork and forced a smile. “Enjoy the show!”

After parting ways with AEW, Ryan Nemeth inked a deal with TNA Wrestling last year. It was recently announced that The Hardy Boys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) will defend their TNA Tag Team Titles against The Nemeths (Ryan Nemeth & Nic Nemeth) at TNA Rebellion on April 27th.

Brooke Hogan Alleges Physical, Verbal & Mental Abuse Since Childhood

0

Linda Hogan recently shared that she and her daughter Brooke hadn’t spoken in years and believes a falling-out between Brooke and Hulk Hogan was the reason. Now, Brooke Olesky has shared her side of things with some concerning claims about her upbringing.

On Instagram, Brooke responed to the video shared by Linda, saying the video is “mild compared to behaviour I have witnessed.” Brooke claimed that in the past, Linda has made false claims. Despite this, Brooke’s heart breaks for her mother, saying that Linda has been through “A LOT of trauma and pain.”

Brooke explained that her reasons for not speaking with her mother are not related to her reasons not to speak with her father and vice versa. Brooke then shared that she had been “verbally and mentally abused since childhood” and that it would “frequently turn physical.” Brooke clarified that she did not want people to make assumptions about the specifics about her situation or who is alleged to have done what.

“This vicious pattern has robbed me of any sense of self esteem or confidence I’ve been trained to pretend I have.”

Until adulthood, Brooke received “berating and vile text messages” as well as “public reamings” with comments that can’t be forgotten. Brooke said she was asked to defend poor behavior to the public, and did so out of love, only to find she’d been lied to. Brooke claims that others have financially benefitted off of her suffering and embarrasment.

“I’ve been used as a pawn, a buffer, and been treated like I’m downright stupid too. No child or human should ever experience something like this.”

Many people witnessed what was happening and new it as wrong but never took action or stood up for Brooke, she adds. These people instead stuck around “for the freebies, money, and association to fame.” Brooke said she’s given up such perks as they were never important to her.

Brooke has tried to help those involved, only to “have them pull me into the darkness with them.” After setting boundaries that were not respected, Brooke has now cut off contact to those who have brought her nothing but anguish.

“I so badly wanted to see good in them, protect, help, and start anew – just to be disrespected again and again. I longed for a normal family but it never came to fruition.”

Today, Brooke is focusing on what she can do for those she truly loves, namely her husband and their two children. Brooke is working on “breaking the chain” and has taken to therapy to battle with her past trauma. Brooke also finds comfort in religion, adding that “My husband, my children, and relationship with God is my priority.”

As for those Brooke claims have harmed her, “there have been more than enough chances given.” While Brooke is ready to move on into a peaceful future with her husband and children, she will not let a “false narrative” about her continue to be spread online.

“Please heed my warning – I am CHOOSING peace. But do not mistake my kidness or silence for weakness.”

Brooke Hogan made several appearances in wrestling, many associated alongside her legendary father. Brooke appeared in 2006 ahead of Hulk’s SummerSlam showdown with Randy Orton and would later have a much larger role in TNA Wrestling. Today though, Brooke is happy to leave her days on camera behind in favor of focusing on herself, her husband, and her children.

AJ Francis Addresses Hit Row Fallout with Swerve Strickland

0

Swerve Strickland and AJ Francis were once part of Hit Row in WWE but neither is part of the company any more. Despite not having shared the ring, either as allies or as enemies, for years, tensions between the two have recently come to light.

During a recent appearance on “VladTV,” Swerve recalled B-Fab being released earlier than the group, recalling that WWE abruptly stopped giving her information about flights. Strickland added that when a member of the group asked management about B-Fab, the Hit Row member was “agressive” and earned the group heat. Shortly after, the group was released from WWE mere weeks after being called up to the main roster.

Though Strickland didn’t name whoever was ‘agressive’ to management, A.J. Francis believes Swerve was speaking about him. On X, Francis, now with TNA, said he’s proud to be that ‘agressive’ individual when it means standing up for B-Fab.

Appearing on Unlikely, Francis discussed the matter further. The TNA star argued that contrary to what some may believe, he’s not the ‘bad guy’ in this situation.

“Ask Swerve why [Ashante] and [B-Fab] don’t talk to him. Since I’m the bad guy, why is it that me, her, and [Ashante] were talking today about this foolishness.”

Both B-Fab and Ashante are back in WWE with the former on the main roster while Adonis continues to build himself in WWE NXT. Time will tell where the former Hit Row members go next in their respective careers, especially after this recent incident.

Mandy Rose Feels ‘A Little Bit Erased’ From WWE History

0

Mandy Rose doesn’t know where her relationship with WWE stands.

The former Absolution member was once considered a future star for the company and she was involved in some memorable storylines in the promotion. Her run with the orginzation came to an abrupt end in 2022, however, after the management reportedly discovered explicit pictures, she posted on subscription websites.

Rose, real name Amanda Saccomanno, talked about her relationship with the company in a new interview with Busted Open Radio. The former NXT Women’s Champion was asked about making a potential appearance in WWE and Mandy said that she doesn’t know if the officials will accept her back:

“I don’t know if they look at me like they would accept me back in a way. I don’t know how they feel. I’ve never had a conversation, but I just I don’t know. Do they think? Are they really offended with what happened? Maybe they just don’t want to be associated with me anymore in a sense because you know, I’m kind of, I feel like I’m a little bit erased in certain scenarios.”

A Little Bit Erased: Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose recently lashed out at WWE for branding Stephanie Vaquer as the first-ever double champion in the history of NXT. Rose argued that she held both the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s titles at the same time. Fans have since pointed out, however that Rose actually ended up unifying the belts into one, while Vaquer holds both the NXT and the North American titles separately.

Despite the factual difference however, the former WWE star does not feel like she gets the respect she deserves. According to the former Tough Enough star, she feels a little bit erased from the WWE history:

“I mean NXT did mention me not too long ago. I saw like a promo package when they were talking about the women’s champion or the women in general of like evolving and all that, which was cool. So I’m like, okay, that gave me a little hope, a little glimmer of hope of like, ‘Oh, okay, I got a little recognition there’ which was cool. But yeah, I just feel like I am a little bit erased from their rolodex of superstars. I don’t know. I could be wrong though.”

John Cena Sr. Turns Heel, Done With Being Asked About Son

0

John Cena stunned fans with his shocking heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto and now his father has followed suit. At a recent independent event, John Cena Sr. had enough with fans asking about his son. Not only did he tell the fans to go ask the WWE icon himself, but he had some scathing parting words.

“You know what you can do for me? You can pack your little bag, both of you, and take a little walk and get your asses out of here.”

Cena Sr. began appearing for WWE in 2006 and was infamously slapped in his home by the invading Edge and Lita. Things didn’t get any better the following year for the elder Cena, who was punted during an episode of Monday Night Raw by Randy Orton.

Cena Sr., perhaps the first reverse-generation second-generation star in wrestling, has made a name for himself on the independents as wrestling manager ‘Johnny Fabulous.’ While he’s certainly not on the level as his highly-successful son, John Cena Sr. shows that wrestling is indeed in the blood of the Cena household.

As for John Cena Jr., he intends on making history at WrestleMania 41 by becoming a 17-time WWE World Champion. With the possibility of ‘ruining wrestling’ within his grasp, the WWE icon is ready to do what it takes to dethrone Cody Rhodes this April.

Bret Hart Recalls Being Blamed For Bringing Fake Sammy Hagar To WWE Event

0

Celebrity involvement in wrestling is nothing new and there’s been dozens of rock stars who’ve shown up at WWE events. During his career, Bret Hart was shocked to meet Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar, until he, and the rest of those inside Madison Square Garden, learned that things aren’t always what they seem.

In a recent interview with Dark Side of the Ring, Hart recalled speaking with the man who introduced himself as Hagar, shortly after the real Hagar had taken over from David Lee Roth in Van Halen. When the pair arrived via limousine to a WWE event, suspicions quickly arose.

“Jim [Neidhart] kept going ‘That’s not Sammy Hagar.’ Why wouldn’t it be Sammy Hagar? ‘That’s Not Sammy Hagar.'”

After ‘Hagar’ snorted some cocaine, Neidhart was convinced that this poser was the genuine article. It was only during the show that the truth came out thanks to a very real special guest in attendance.

“The baseball player with the Yankees. He goes ‘I know Sammy Hager. You’re not Sammy Hager.’ And he walked right out.”

Bret recalled managment being furious, asking who claimed that this individual was the real Sammy Hagar. A sheepish Bret recalled telling Adrian Adonis and others that he was with Hagar, blissfully unaware that this was not the real rock star.

To this day, WWE uses celebrity involvement with actors and musicians often being spotted in the crowd at events. After Bret’s unfortunate incident though, WWE no doubt makes sure to double check that the celebrity their bringing in is the genuine article.

John Cena Ditches ‘You Can’t See Me’ After WWE Heel Turn

0

John Cena shocked the world with his heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto after over two decades as one of WWE’s top babyfaces. Now, Cena has confirmed his heel turn with a subtle change to his merchandise and his branding.

For the March 24, edition of WWE Raw, Cena arrived inside Glasgow’s OVO Hydro with new merchandise themed for the Glasgow event. Cena wore a new hat with an edited version of his ‘You Can’t See Me’ logo. Instead of the ‘C’ being covered by a red slash, indicating that fans can’t see him, the C is now above the slash, demonstrating John’s new attitude and that fans can see him. One week earlier in Brussels, John had lashed out at the fans, including sharing his issue with the ‘Invisible John Cena’ meme that has stemmed from his catchphrase.

Cena’s plans on fans seeing him become a 17-time WWE World Champion at WrestleMania 41 at the expense of Cody Rhodes. On this week’s Raw, Cena shared that he plans to retire as champion, forcing WWE to create a new ‘toy’ for the Superstars to fight over. Cena has vowed to “ruin wrestling” for everyone by taking the WWE Championship, a title that has history dating back to the 1960s, home with him.

John will be on the March 31, edition of WWE Raw, set to emenate from the O2 Arena in London, England. It remains to be seen what the WWE icon has to say and how Cody Rhodes will respond when both are in the same venue once more.

Linda Hogan: Lying Sex Addict Hulk Has Broken Our Family

0

Hulk Hogan is far from being the fan-favorite he was during his hey-day, as seen with the response he received at Raw’s debut on Netflix. Now, the Hulkster’s issues have extended past the wrestling world as his ex-wife Linda believes he has ruined their family.

On Instagram, Linda spoke about herself and Hogan splitting 15 years ago and the breakdown of their family ever since. Linda recently became a mother-in-law and a grandmother, though did not find this out by her daughter Brooke.

“Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She’s had twins. She got married. She didn’t tell us she had twins. She didn’t tell us.”

Linda recalled Brooke and Hulk having a “huge fight,” but isn’t sure why that means she’s has also been cut out of her daughter’s life. Linda and Brooke haven’t spoke for close to eight years but is grateful to still be in touch with her son Nick. Linda called Nick “such a good boy” despite his run-ins with the law.

One of the biggest criticisms fans have with Hulk Hogan is his history of lies, many of which have been categorically proven to be untrue. In her video, Linda confirmed that her ex is a habitual liar, as well as an alleged sex addict.

“He’s a complete liar. He is a sex addict… All these horrible things are going on behind the scenes. Yet. He marches on. He marches on.”

Hulk Hogan ‘marches on’ with his Real American Beer, though WWE are now wary to use the controversial Hall of Famer on screen. Nevertheless, the Hulkster remains a source of discussion among fans as the controversies to Hogan’s name continue to pile up.

Kevin Owens Blasts Old WWE Management For Insulting Fans

0

Kevin Owens is happy that the new WWE management does not insult the intelligence of the fans.

The old WWE management under Vince McMahon was notorious for changing things last minute and not following up on angles. A lot of the time, they would ignore events that took place just weeks ago, and make characters act irrationally, thinking that the fans did not remember things.

This is not the case with the new WWE management under Triple H, thankfully. Not only does the new management make sure that storylines have better continuity but fans are now rewarded for paying attention to small details and easter eggs that become catalysts for big changes.

Owens talked about this change during a new interview with the Unlikely podcast. He discussed how there has been a shift in mindset encouraged by the people at the top:

“Yeah, it’s definitely been a shift in mindset from people at the top, that our fans are smart, and watch our product, and pay attention, and remember things. And can remember things a lot better than other people that were in charge before thought they would, because I guess they didn’t remember half of the stuff we did. But the fans do, ‘cause the fans care and pay attention to what we do.”

Makes The Product Way Better: Kevin Owens

While Kevin Owens did not name Vince McMahon directly, he noted how he often had to fight the top brass back in the day over continuity issues. This is not the case with Triple H however as he knows that the fans are very intelligent:

“I had arguments with the people in charge before where I was like, ‘No, this happened three weeks ago, they’re gonna remember.’ And they said, ‘No they won’t.’ I’m like, ‘Yes they will. You’re insulting their intelligence by pretending they won’t.’ But obviously, Triple H does not think like that. He knows fans remember, and he applies it and he uses it, and it makes the product way better, in my opinion.”

Owens later also talked about his own experience as a fan before he entered the business. He noted how even at a young age he remembered things that happened before and could recognize changes such as when a wrestler was repackaged with a different gimmick.
