The ending to the January 28, edition of WWE NXT has left fans speculating as to what’s to come for the silver brand. In the main event of the show, Bianca Belair and Naomi retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Jackson nearly scored the win for her team with a pin on Naomi, before a hot tag to Belair saw the champions hit an assisted Kiss of Death to score the win.
As the four women shared a moment of respect in the ring, the screen cut to a WWE transmission card. The text on the card was then deleted and replaced with ‘Vengeance Day,’ teasing a reveal for NXT’s upcoming event.
This cryptic ending to WWE NXT immediately had fans speculating as to what will happen at Vengeance Day, set to take place on February 15, in Washington, D.C. On X, some fans speculated that it could mark the return of Jorydnne Grace, who since her most recent NXT appearance has signed with WWE. However, fans may be seeing Grace far sooner than that given reports that she could be part of this weekend’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Some social media users speculated on it being Sami Callihan, or another name from TNA Wrestling as part of the multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA. Whatever this tease means, fans will have to wait until NXT Vegeance Day to know for sure.
The January 28, edition of WWE NXT saw the silver brand continue on the road to its Vengeance Day event. During the show, three exciting Championship matches were announced.
On the Grayson Waller Effect, NXT Champion Oba Femi pointed out that neither Waller nor Austin Theory held gold during their respective runs in WWE NXT. After brawling with the pair and laying out Trick Williams, Femi was told by NXT GM Ava that he will defend the NXT Championship against Waller and Theory in a triple threat match at NXT Vengeance Day.
On the show, Fallon Henley retained the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Shotzi. After the match, she came face-to-face with Stephanie Vaquer. Commentary confirmed that Vaquer will challenge Henley for the title at NXT Vengeance Day.
The WWE NXT Women’s Championship will also be on the line at NXT Vengeeance Day. During this week’s show, Bayley and Giulia picking defeated the duo of Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez in the Role Model’s first NXT match in over four years. After the match, Bayley eyed Giulia and her NXT Women’s Championship. Later that night, Ava announced that both Bayley and Roxanne Perez will challenge Giulia for the NXT Women’s Championship at Vengeance Day.
NXT Vengeance Day will take place on February 15, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington D.C. With the show set to air the same day as AEW hosts its Grand Slam: Australia event, WWE is holding nothing back in their war for viewers next month. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the lateston NXT Vengeance Day, which has the potential to see several new champions be crowned.
Britt Baker has been a major topic of discussion lately, with rumors that she may be done with AEW after not appearing for the promotion for months. While speaking to The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Chris Jericho was asked about Britt Baker’s status in AEW and whether she might be leaving the company.
“I don’t see her leaving or going anywhere, and I’m looking forward to having her come back on the show because she has a great character and a great presence and, once again, a great fan base within AEW and within the wrestling world.”
Jericho added that Baker is an AEW ‘OG’ and highlighted the former Women’s World Champion as “one of our first homegrown stars.” Though it’s been reported that Baker is massively unpopular within AEW, a follow-up report said that this was an exaggeration.
Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW television since the November 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she defeated Penelope Ford and was confronted by Serena Deeb. Only time will tell when “The Doctor” will make her return, but Jericho remains confident that she will be back.
WWE 2K25’s Deadman Edition and Bloodline Edition are set for worldwide release on March 7, 2025.
The standard edition will follow on March 14, 2025, giving fans multiple ways to celebrate the dominance of The Bloodline.
Roman Reigns and The Bloodline have taken center stage in WWE 2k25, and Paul Heyman, ever the advocate, sees this as nothing short of well-deserved recognition. In an exclusive interview with Variety, Heyman shared his thoughts on the game’s focus on Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, calling it a pivotal moment for their legacy.
The standard edition cover of WWE 2k25 prominently features Reigns with Heyman at ringside, while the special Bloodline Edition highlights members of both Reigns’ and Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline factions. This includes Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Heyman, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, all symbolically united through the family tree of wrestling’s most dominant dynasty.
“It’s truly a reaffirming moment for The Bloodline and the members within The Bloodline that Roman Reigns and I are on the cover of this video game,” Heyman told Variety.
“It’s a mainstream acknowledgment of the contributions to the entire sports entertainment industry by the Tribal Chief and his Wiseman. It’s an encapsulation of this moment in time in which the disruption of the entire industry by Roman Reigns is hereby acknowledged.”
Pre=Order WWE 2K25
A Dynamic Gaming Experience
Beyond the striking covers, WWE 2k25 integrates The Bloodline’s legacy into its gameplay. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions introduce The Island, an immersive mode where players can explore, complete challenges, and compete in live events. The ultimate goal is to earn a WWE contract by impressing the “Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns and potentially joining The Bloodline.
The 2k Showcase, titled The Bloodline Dynasty, celebrates the Anoa’i family’s influence on professional wrestling. Hosted by Heyman, the mode includes legends such as Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Yokozuna. Players can relive iconic matches or change history by flipping the outcomes of pivotal moments.
Heyman’s Surprising Role
Heyman admitted to Variety that hosting The Bloodline Dynasty was not a role he ever envisioned for himself.
“I’m a fat bald Jewish kid from the Bronx,” he said, marveling at the unexpected twist in his career. Still, he views his role as a reflection of WWE’s bond with its audience. “The audience will embrace the wisdom as bestowed upon them by ‘The Wiseman,’” Heyman said.
When asked if this marks the start of a new video game-focused era for him, Heyman joked but aimed high: “I hope you are dramatically understating my impact on the video game world, the disruption within, and the billions of dollars in stock options I hope to be offered by both TKO and TTWO, which is the parent company of 2k Sports.”
Wrestling’s Mainstream Ascension
Heyman also commented on WWE’s broader cultural impact, referencing Monday Night Raw’s recent move to Netflix. He sees this as another milestone in WWE’s evolution from niche entertainment to pop culture dominance.
“We’re no longer a boutique industry,” Heyman told Variety. “We’re driving pop culture now, and with the fact that Roman Reigns is the undisputed top box office attraction, the number one star in the entire industry, and his Wiseman, are driving these cultural phenomena, I would suggest the youth of this world is in very good hands right now.”
With WWE 2k25, The Bloodline’s influence transcends the ring, solidifying their place in sports entertainment history and pop culture. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more updates.
The wrestling world is no stranger to comparing rising stars to legendary figures, and LA Knight is one of the most prominent names to draw such parallels. During an appearance on Casual Conversations with The Classic, Knight addressed the frequent comparisons to WWE icons like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, but he made it clear that his aspirations go far beyond emulating them.
“Was I influenced by those guys? Of course,” Knight admitted. “But I don’t want to be them—I want to be better than them.”
While he respects their impact on the industry, Knight made it clear that his goal is to go beyond imitation, focusing on creating something fresh and unique. He recognizes that comparisons are inevitable in wrestling.
“Everybody has to make comparisons; it makes people feel more comfortable. But for me, I’m focused on being at a whole other level,” Knight explained.
His confidence and authenticity have made him one of the most talked-about names in 2023, with fans rallying behind his meteoric rise in WWE.
Knight’s success is a testament to his ability to connect with audiences by staying true to himself. His approach resonates with fans looking for personalities that stand out in a crowded industry. As he continues to rise, many believe Knight has the potential to cement his place among wrestling’s greats—not by mirroring legends, but by blazing his own trail.
Jake Paul and Logan Paul will not be stepping into the ring to face one another (yet!) despite a recent tease of a showodown. This week, Logan Paul took to X (formerly Twitter) to share news of a project between the two brothers. The image of the two brothers staring intently left many believing a boxing match was coming.
Despite speculation of a fight, this post on X was the first tease of a reality show, sources told ESPN’s Mike Coppinger. The show will premiere on MAX on March 27, though the premise of the reality show remains unclear.
While the Paul brothers won’t be facing each other this Match, both have seen success in the boxing world. Jake has made a name for himself against high-profile opponents including Tommy Fury, Nate Diaz, and Anderson Silva while Logan has balanced his time between boxing and WWE.
Outside of boxing, Logan Paul will be part of this weekend’s Men’s Royal Rumble match and hopes to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41. On Raw, Paul confronted Seth Rollins and GUNTHER, teasing a future in the World Heavyweight Championship picture. With WrestleMania 41 set for April 19-20, mere weeks after his showdown with his brother, WWE’s resident Maverick will likely be a very busy individual later this year.
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk had one of WWE’s most brutal feuds of 2024, and the Scottish Warrior, isn’t ready to let things rest. In a new interview with The Scottish Sun Sport, McIntyre shared his view that the side of fans Punk sees is far from the genuine article.
“Guy’s a cancer, he plays the part of a hero for the people so well, but the truth is, it’s just all about himself. He doesn’t care.”
The idea of Punk being a ‘cancer’ is not isolated to McIntyre. After his infamous All Out 2022 rant, Punk was reportedly called a cancer by Chris Jericho. Seth Rollins used similar verbiage about Punk in early 2023, planting the seeds for their eventual feud in WWE.
As the Royal Rumble approaches, speculation continues to mount about the two, who have both declared for the 30-Man match. In last year’s match, Punk suffered an injury that derailed his WrestleMania dream, a setback the Scottish Superstar was glad to take credit for. In the interview, McIntyre relished facing Punk one more time.
“He’s gonna get his. When he gets in my path, he’s going to get his, but I have certain goals in mind now. Inevitably, he’s going to get taken out.“
The drama between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk is far from over and fans can await the pair to face off this weekend at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Stay tuned for more updates and insights on the pair of former World Champions who hope to secure their place on the Road to WrestleMania 41.

In a recent appearance on the Insight podcast, Jordynne Grace discussed the motivation behind her stunning physical transformation. When asked what inspired her to change her body, the former Knockouts Champion explained her “messed-up mentality.”
“I felt like I had to because I have to stand out somehow… I was just this chubby white girl, and you didn’t see anything when I walked in a room.”
Over a two-year period, Grace lost a considerable amount of weight and toned her body into the ‘Juggernaut’ fans see today. On the podcast, Grace explained that she wanted to demonstrate her dedication to wrestling.
“If someone has big arms and they walk into a room, it doesn’t matter if they’re four foot tall, you’re gonna be like, okay, they’re dedicated.”
Grace has taken her commitment to fitness to the next level by entering the world of professional bodybuilding. In April 2023, the Juggernaut made her bodybuilding competiton debut in the Tri City Classic. Like her work in the ring, Grace dominated the competiton to win first place in the true novice, women’s physique, and overall women’s physique categories.

Streaming sensation Kai Cenat made waves during his debut on WWE Raw at Atlanta’s sold-out State Farm Arena on Monday night. The content creator brought his trademark energy and enthusiasm to the world of professional wrestling, making an unforgettable first impression on fans and WWE talent alike.
Right after Raw, Kai spoke candidly backstage about the experience, his lifelong admiration for WWE stars, and his thoughts on joining the roster someday. Kai described his entrance as the fulfillment of a childhood dream, saying,
“The crowd gave me a loud pop… I always wanted to run down the aisle, and I got to do that straight to the ring.”
Showcasing his athleticism, Kai leaped over the top rope with ease, likening the moment to channeling WWE legend Rey Mysterio. “Once I touched the ropes, I felt like Rey Mysterio… I just had to hop right onto it, instantly, no cap,” he joked.
When asked about his predictions for the upcoming Royal Rumble, Kai expressed admiration for longtime WWE icon John Cena, whom he called a “dear friend,” as well as Logan Paul, another creator-turned-wrestler.
“From a creator to a wrestler, [Logan] is crushing it… I wanna see him do his thing live too,” Kai shared.
Kai’s appearance underscores the growing connection between digital content creators and professional wrestling. With stars like Logan Paul and even KSI finding success in WWE, Kai’s charisma and natural athleticism make him an exciting addition to this trend.
Asked about potentially becoming a WWE Superstar himself, Kai confidently said,
“Hey, I hope so… Just know I’m ready.”
As the road to WrestleMania continues and anticipation builds for the Royal Rumble, fans are left wondering if this is just the beginning of Kai Cenat’s journey in the wrestling world. Whether he makes another special appearance or fully transitions into the WWE, it’s clear that Kai has the star power to thrive in the ring.

Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE, but the Juggernaut’s journey to the company has been a dream in the making since childhood. Speaking on the Insightpodcast before her WWE signing became public, Grace was asked if joining the promotion’s roster had always been her ultimate goal.
“I just wanted to wrestle when I was a kid, but I also wanted to be a Diva. That’s the era I was watching. So I wanted to be like one of the models.”
Grace would stumble upon TNA Wrestling a few years before beginning her training, and the company would showcase women’s wrestling outside of WWE’s divas division. It was seeing women outside of WWE’s mold that made Grace realize a future in the ring was possible.
“The variation in WWE and TNA at the time was huge, obviously. I saw women like Awesome Kong and I was like dang, maybe I could be like that.”
Grace tried out for WWE in 2018 but it wouldn’t be until the 2024 Royal Rumble that she made her WWE debut. Reflecting on her arrival, Grace recalled being worried nobody in the crowd would know of her.
“I expected to come out there and no one was gonna know who I was. It was my first time being in WWE at all, so I didn’t expect people to know who I was.”
Grace didn’t just receive recognition last year, but her Rumble appearance opened the door for the multi-year WWE-TNA partnership that has proven to be a hit. While Grace’s days as a TNA Knockout are over, fans can expect many more epic moments from the Juggernaut, perhaps as soon as this weekend.
JD McDonagh is thankfully okay following a scary spot on WWE Raw, but he’s going to need some time to recover. The Judgement Day member teamed up with Dominik Mysterio to challenge The War Raiders for the WWE World Tag Championships on the 1/27 episode of Raw. During the match, McDonagh did a moonsault to the outside and unintentionally hit the back of his head hard against the commentary table.
To the viewer, McDonagh looked to be unconscious and even on the broadcast Michael Cole noted of the spot, stating that they “seriously” needed someone to check on JD. Both he and Pat McAfee couldn’t believe that JD continued the match, crediting him for his toughness despite his heelish ways. War Raiders ultimately retained their championships and McDonagh seemingly collapsed as he made it to the back.
The praise continued for McDonagh by fans and his colleagues online. Names like Ivar and Chad Gable hopped on social media to share their admiration for McDonagh following the match. Hours after Raw, JD took to X himself to thank fans, revealing that he was okay, but that he did sustain some injuries that would keep him out for months.
“First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I’m good.
“I’ve got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I’m going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I’m grateful for that.
“See ya in a bit.”
First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I'm good.
I've got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I'm going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I'm grateful for that.
During the January 27, edition of WWE Raw, JD McDonagh suffered a scary bump during a World Tag Title match when the back of his head hit the announce table. Despite this, McDonagh was able to finish the match that saw the War Raiders retain against the Irish Ace and Dominik Mysterio.
McDonagh earned an ovation from the crowd for continuing as many feared that the bump could’ve led to a serious injury. A photo has since circulated online, reportedly of McDonagh collapsing to the floor after making his way to the back.
McDonagh was taken to a hospital following Monday Night Raw, Bryan Alvarez reports. Despite the worrying spot where his neck whiplashed against the announce desk, the main concern appears to be with the ribs of the Irish Superstar.
Fans and wrestlers alike have been praising McDonagh and his toughness since Raw, including fellow Superstar Chad Gable.
With Big E’s broken neck injury still fresh in the minds of fans, McDonagh’s situation demonstrates the danger every wrestler puts themselves in, all in the name of entertaining the fans. Stay tuned for updates on JD McDonagh after this scary spot on WWE Raw.

CM Punk has dreamed of headlining WrestleMania for years, and his journey to Allegiant Stadium could put him on a collision course with Cody Rhodes. During the January 27, edition of WWE Raw, Rhodes spoke to the crowd in Atlanta about this weekend’s 2025 Royal Rumble PLE, where he’ll face Kevin Owens in a ladder match.
CM Punk interrupted Rhodes’ promo, and though he reiterated that he is Cody’s friend, had some choice words for the American Nightmare. Reflecting on his 434-day WWE title reign, Punk said he could see that Cody is stretching himself too thin, and that whoever wins the Royal Rumble will take the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania.
Punk then shared that he will be the one to do exactly that, teasing that Punk plans on challenging Rhodes in April should he win the Royal Rumble. Cody said he’s rooting for Punk this Sunday, as he plans on showing that the “Best in the World” isn’t the Best in the World anymore at WrestleMania 41.
Monday Night Raw went off the air with a tense stare down between the two ‘friends’, both of whom have big plans for WWE’s two-night megashow in April. It’s worth remembering that the two were the finalists in last year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match which ended with Rhodes eliminating the Straight Edge Superstar. This unexpected confrontation adds intrigue ahead of the Royal Rumble, with speculation mounting over Hayes’ potential role in WWE’s main roster storylines.

Cenat’s involvement was revealed during Cenat’s appearance on WWE Raw in Atlanta, where he was interviewed by commentator Pat McAfee. The Raw commentator extended a personal invitation to Cenat to attend the Royal Rumble, which Cenat enthusiastically accepted.
IShowSpeed previously appeared for WWE at WrestleMania 40, where he aided then-United States Champion Logan Paul. IShowSpeed will be at WWE Royal Rumble and given access to stream throughout the show.

This is the second time Reigns will be featured on the game’s base cover, and the first time as the only wrestler. Both he and Becky Lynch were on the cover of WWE 2K20 back in 2019. WWE has officially signed a significant free agent in Jordynne Grace, a move many anticipated. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE sources have confirmed that Grace has inked a multi-year contract with the company.
The report reveals that WWE expressed their interest and extended an offer a few weeks before Grace completed her commitments with TNA. The promotion, which maintains a working relationship with WWE, was fully aware that Grace intended to leave. Sources within WWE noted that the company finalized the signing almost immediately after her final match in TNA, aiming to secure her before she could enter free agency.
Grace’s final appearance for TNA occurred during the Genesis pay-per-view event on Sunday night in Dallas, Texas, where she faced Tessa Blanchard. In the match, Grace put over Blanchard, marking her exit from the promotion. Although it was previously reported that her TNA deal would run through January 2025, this new development confirms an earlier-than-expected departure.
Grace has made prior appearances for WWE, including an impressive showing in the 2023 Royal Rumble match, which reportedly left a strong impression on WWE officials. Many speculated that she would join WWE once her TNA contract concluded, and this signing has now fulfilled those expectations.
Dakota Kai, one of WWE’s most resilient and dynamic performers, is once again on the injured list following a tag team match on the January 20th episode of Raw. Teaming with IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler, Kai reportedly suffered an injury during the bout.
According to PWInsider.com, Kai was “hurt” during the match, with one source speculating that the issue may have stemmed from a rough bump taken on a missile dropkick. It was later confirmed to be a concussion. Kai has been pulled from WWE programming and was notably absent from this week’s Raw.
As of now, it’s unclear whether this injury will prevent Dakota Kai from participating in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, which is set to take place this weekend. Kai’s potential absence would be a significant blow to both her and her faction, Damage CTRL, as the group has been a prominent force in WWE’s women’s division.
Kai’s latest setback is part of an unfortunate pattern in her career, as she has dealt with multiple significant injuries over the years:
Right ACL Tear – December 2018
Kai tore her ACL in her right knee during an NXT live event in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This injury sidelined her for over nine months, costing her a spot in the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
Shoulder Injury – Late 2020
During her NXT run, Kai suffered a shoulder injury that briefly removed her from active competition. While not severe, it slowed her momentum during her growing partnership with Raquel González.
Left ACL Tear – May 2023
In a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on SmackDown, Kai suffered a torn ACL in her left knee after a botched top-rope move. The injury required surgery and kept her out for 9–12 months, sidelining her for the remainder of 2023.

Bautista’s breakout moment came when he was cast as Drax the Destroyer in Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). His portrayal of the literal-minded but lovable alien warrior won audiences over and showcased his comedic timing. Asuka appears to be edging closer to her return to in-ring action after an extended hiatus due to a knee injury.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, creative plans involving Asuka have been discussed, including a potential tag team match, though that idea was reportedly scrapped. As of now, her official return date remains unclear.
The former champion underwent knee surgery last year following an injury that, despite speculation, did not immediately sideline her. Asuka continued competing, including at Backlash France in April, where she and her partner lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. After announcing she would be taking a break to address the injury, Asuka underwent surgery and has since been focused on rehab.
She has documented her recovery journey through vlogs on her YouTube channel, offering fans an inside look at her progress. Fightful added there have been no reports of Asuka training at the WWE Performance Center or any confirmation of her status for the Royal Rumble.
For now, fans can only wait and watch for updates as Asuka continues her road to recovery.
