CJ Perry Claims Rusev Served Divorce Papers On Her Birthday, He Denies

0

CJ ‘Lana’ Perry and Rusev have opened up about their divorce now that they’ve reconciled, with Perry claiming she was served on her birthday. Appearing together on the Identity Crisis podcast, Perry made her bold claim about the timing of the couple’s split.

“He served divorce papers on my birthday, this is shoot. He literally [served papers on my birthday.]”

Rusev was quick to deny the claim that he served the divorce papers on her birthday. Leaning into their roles in WWE, Miro claimed this was his wife’s ‘storyline’ and alluded to CM Punk being served his WWE termination papers on his wedding day in 2014.

“It was not on her birthday. She’s taking the CM Punk storyline… This is not true though!”

When asked if the divorce was a work, Rusev shared that the split between the two was the real deal. In 2024, Perry confirmed the pair were separated after years of marriage. One year to the day that the couple’s split was announced, it was revealed that the pair were back together and the couple had renewed their wedding vows.

Now, the pair are back together and Rusev returned to WWE earlier this year. Whether Perry joins him remains to be seen, but the couple are ready to forge on this exciting new chapter of their lives.

Ludwig Kaiser Sparks Dating Rumors After Being Spotted With WWE Host

0

New footage of El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) has sparked rumors of a new relationship after he was seen holding hands with WWE ambassador Andrea Bazarte. The video, reportedly taken during the Monterrey vs. Tigres soccer match at the Clásico Regio on November 1, showed the pair dancing and embracing. Other videos show Americano and Bazarte spending plenty of time together.

These videos have sparked a lot of discussion about Americano/Kaiser, who has been in a relationship with Tiffany Stratton. While many fans now believe Kaiser and Stratton have split, neither side has spoken publicly about the rumored break up.

Bazarte is a 33-year-old from McAllen, Texas, who serves as the Digital TV host of WWE Espanol. Bazarte has also modeled for the Boga Models agency, and is active on social media, including boasting 347,000 followers on Instagram.

This is an ongoing situation and fans should wait for Kaiser or Stratton to speak publicly before jumping to conclusions. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest.

WWE SmackDown Superstar Has Name Changed

0

Zelina Vega has undergone a slight name change, according to WWE’s official website. On her profile, the former Women’s United States Champion is known simply as ‘Zelina,’ and no longer has the ‘Vega’ name attached.

image 3

No explanation has been given by WWE for the change. During Vince McMahon’s tenure running WWE, several Superstars had their names shortened or changed, including (Matt) Riddle, (Austin) Theory and Pete Dunne, who later became Butch. At the time, it was reported that WWE wanted to avoid talent using their real names on TV. However, this doesn’t apply in Zelina’s case, as she does not useany part of her real name (Thea Mega Trinidad Büdgen) on TV.

Zelina was recently paired up with her real-life husband Aleister Black on TV as the pair seek to launch destruction on the rest of the roster. 2025 has also seen Zelina win her first singles title in WWE, though her reign as Women’s U.S. Champion was ended by Giulia in June. Outside the ring, Zelina signed with the Prototype Talent Agency, demonstrating her desire for roles and work outside of wrestling.

Zelina briefly dropped the Vega part of her name when she went by ‘Queen Zelina’ after her 2021 Queen’s Crown tournament win. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Zelina Vega.

Ethan Page Eyes Third Title After AAA Star’s Challenge

0

Ethan Page could soon be a triple champion after being challenged to a match for the AAA Latin American Championship for Guerra de Titanes. At AAA Day of the Dead on November 2, Champion Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. issued a challenge to Page for the December 20, show.

Wagner’s challenge came after he retained the AAA Latin American Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo. At WWE NXT Halloween Havov, Page defeated Wagner in a Day Of The Dead match.

For Page, this title match is a chance to win a third title. Page is already the WWE NXT North American Champion, a title he gave a Canadian redesign earlier this year. At Day of the Dead, he and Chelsea Green captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, making ‘All Ego’ a double champion.

Whether Page becomes a triple champion on December 20, only time will tell. But should he win the gold, fans will certainly hear all about it from the ‘All Ego’ Superstar.

Jade Cargill Honors Late Mom After WWE Women’s Title Win

0

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jade Cargill captured the WWE Women’s Championship, ending the 302-day reign of Tiffany Stratton. This win kicks off Jade’s first singles title reign in WWE and her first singles title reign in wrestling in over two years.

On her Instagram Stories, Jade shared a message to her mother, who sadly died of cancer mere months after her daughter’s WWE debut. Reflecting on others that she’s lost, Jade wished her mother could have lived to see her win before playfully recalling her mom’s concerns about her in-ring attire.

image 2

Jade’s post is far softer than her immediate comments after her victory over Stratton. Following her win, Cargill mocked her doubters, saying that while doubt looks good on them, “gold looks better on me.”

This win marks Cargill’s first taste of singles gold in WWE. The new champion is also a two-time former Women’s Tag Team Champion and captured the Queen of the Ring crown earlier this year. Outside WWE, Cargill was the first-ever AEW TBS Champion, though her reign was recently surpassed in length by Mercedes Mone.

Jade joined WWE in September 2023, mere weeks after her time with AEW came to an end. Now, Jade has risen to the top of the SmackDown women’s division, and will always remember those family members who helped her every step of the way.

NBA’s Joel Embiid Fined For Using DX ‘Suck It’ Taunt

0

Joel Embiid is paying for using D-Generation X’s ‘Suck It’ taunt during the Philadelphia 76ers game against the Boston Celtics. Embiid used the taunt early in the first quarter after hitting a bucket and drawing the foul.

Embiid was fined $50,000 for the taunt which the NBA described as “a lewd gesture.” On X, Embiid shared his response.

This isn’t the first time that Embiid’s support for DX has gotten him in trouble. In 2024, he was part of the Olympic Gold Medal-winning team USA at the Summer Games in Paris. After capturing the gold medal by beating the French team, Embiid riled up fans by telling the French crowd to ‘Suck It.’

In January 2024, Embiid led the 76ers to victory over the Denver Nuggets, and again delivered a ‘Suck It’ taunt. In 2023, he was fined for using the taunt, and while the NBA wasn’t happy, this act earned him an invite to WrestleMania 40 from Triple H.

With his DX fandom in no doubt, it remains to be seen if Embiid ever competes in a WWE ring. For now, Embiid is ready to give two words to his opponents on court, even if it gets him in trouble.

John Cena Shares Motivation Behind Last Opponent Tournament

0

The WWE Universe will soon learn of John Cena’s final opponent, who will not be selected by the ‘Goat’ himself. Instead, a tournament will decide who will have the honor of facing the 17-time WWE World Champion in the final match of his storied career.

Hosting a tournament is a unique method to decide the final opponent of John Cena. On X, Cena shared his reasoning behind the idea. After being given several opportunities in the past, he is ready to give somebody that very same chance.

In the announcement shared at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, it was revealed that talent from Raw, SmackDown, and WWE NXT will be included in the tournament. Interestingly, Cena alluded to talent who may not be part of WWE potentially being involved, leaving fans speculating as to who will be involved.

While it has been reported that GUNTHER will be John’s final opponent, that has not yet been confirmed by WWE. The Austrian hasn’t competed for WWE since his World Heavyweight Championship defeat at SummerSlam in August 2025.

Whoever John ends up facing, WWE is ready to give a fitting send-off to one of its most influential and popular stars. Stay tuned to SEScoops as the road to John Cena’s final match continues to draw closer to the end.

First Update On Will Ospreay Since Neck Surgery

0

An update on Will Ospreay.

The AEW star was written off TV in August due to his neck issues, but there had been no update on his expected surgery since then.

We finally got the confirmation of his surgery from Saminder Singh of the Body Alignment Clinic in Rainham, Essex. Singh posted an X-ray of Ospreay’s neck as well as several photos showing his recovery process on Instagram.

In the post made on Saturday, November 1, Saminder mentioned that Will underwent surgery 6 weeks ago. He noted that despite the time left in his recovery, the Aerial Assassin is doing well:

Will Ospreay last wrestled during the Forbidden Door PPV on August 24. He teamed with Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and the Golden Lovers to take on Death Riders, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd in a brutal lights-out steel cage match.

While Ospreay and his team won the bout, he was written off TV immediately afterward with a post-match attack from the Death Riders.

The former IWGP World Champion is not the only AEW main eventer taking time off from the company. Swerve Strickland, who challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Unified Championship at Forbidden Door, has also stepped away from the promotion after the PPV to heal from a torn meniscus.

A return timetable has not been confirmed for either of these stars. Though considering the severity of their injuries, it’s likely that they will be kept out of action at least for next few months.

Rusev Addresses Rumors of Refusing To Lose In AEW

0

Rusev has denied rumors about his time in AEW.

The Bulgarian Brute has been featured regularly since his return to WWE earlier this year. This is in sharp contrast to his time in the Tony Khan-owned promotion, where he would disappear from TV for months without an explanation.

The former US Champion addressed this difference during his recent interview with CBS Sports. He recalled putting a lot of effort into his match with Jey Uso during the company’s Japan tour last month, explaining that it was a result of his experience at the rival promotion:

“I had a period of time where I’d have one match, not knowing when the next match is coming.’ That’s a very scary situation. Now we have this hot crowd in Japan. Let’s freaking go! Let’s give it 150%.”

We Can’t Do This Job Forever: Rusev

Rusev has wrestled a total of 25 matches since making his return to the Endeavor-owned promotion in February this year. This is more than double the number of bouts he had in AEW between 2022 and 2025, where he only competed in 11 matches in the time period before his departure.

Talking about this decline in matches compared to his early run in AEW, Rusev denied the reports that refusing to put over people was the reason for this treatment. He discussed how talent have a limited in-ring career:

“In the past five years, I have had 20 or 30 matches. Back in the day, I had 30 matches in 30 days. The dead time sticks out the most. We only have this body and age for so long.

We can’t do this job forever, so we must take advantage of it while we’re young. I sat on the sidelines for so long, unable to do what I love, which is performing for people in professional wrestling.”

Apart from this, Rusev talked about evolving his character after his 2020 release and how having his back against the wall became the catalyst for this change.

Jey Uso Breaks Silence After Saturday Night’s Main Event Loss

0

Jey Uso has made his first post after Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The former Bloodline member went up against CM Punk in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship vacated by Seth Rollins at tonight’s show from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Looking to prove himself worthy of the main event spot, Uso put a lot of heart in this bout. Jey delivered multiple Spears through the match including one that sent Punk through the outside barricade but he still failed to put the Straight Edge star away.

In the end, it took two back-to-back GTS from the former AEW star to pin Jey Uso. The show ended with Punk celebrating his world title victory while Uso looked on from the sidelines.

Jey Uso Reacts

The Yeet man broke his silence after this unfavourable SNME result with a story on his Instagram account. He posted a photo of the closing shot of the show and wrote ‘Yall Win’:

The Samoan Star has been showing a more serious side of himself in recent weeks and it’s possible that this latest loss is the start of a heel turn for him.

Uso had also recently commented on how his relationship with cousin Roman Reigns has changed over the years and claimed that they are both equals now. You can check out his remarks here.

Jade Cargill Mocks Doubters After WWE Women’s Championship Win

0

New WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has sent a message to her doubters following her victory at Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the November 1, event, Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton, ending her reign at 302 days.

On X, Cargill fired off a message to her doubters, saying that while “doubt looks great on you, gold looks better on me.” With a series of hashtags, Cargill told fans to “put some respect on my name” and that “gold is my color.”

From the moment Cargill signed with WWE, fans speculated about when Jade would reach the top of the women’s division. Now, that time has come, and it remains to be seen what’s next for the top woman of WWE SmackDown.

AJ Lee Reacts To CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship Win

0

CM Punk is a World Heavyweight Champion once again after capturing the gold at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. In the show’s main event, Punk defeated Jey Uso to win the gold that had been vacated by Seth Rollins due to his injury.

Punk’s win has been a long time coming for his fans, especially after his reign that kicked off at SummerSlam was ended within minutes by Rollins. Taking to social media, Punk’s wife AJ Lee shared that she and the couple’s dog Larry were very proud of the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

image

This win now makes Punk a seven-time WWE World Champion (not including his 2007 reign as ECW Champion). Punk is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, and a three-time holder of the World Heavyweight Championship which was retired in 2013. Punk is also a two-time WWE Champion, with his second reign lasting 434 days.

AJ returned to WWE in September 2025 after over a decade away and was victorious in her first match back. While AJ hasn’t appeared for WWE since then, the former Divas Champion has signed a contract, guaranteeing more from the popular Superstar.

With Punk once again on top and his adversary, Seth Rollins expected to be out for months, it remains to be seen what’s next. Whatever is planned, AJ Lee and Larry will be supporting Punk every step of the way.

Son of John Cena’s Forgotten Tag Team Partner Wants To Be His Final Opponent

0

People are already lining up to be part of John Cena’s final opponent tournament.

The latest edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event featured a video package where the Cenation Leader himself announced a 16 men tournament to determine his last opponent come December 13.

Cena said that he wants his final opponent to be whoever is ready to step up and seize the same kind of opportunity he was given during his WWE debut match against Kurt Angle back in 2002.

The 17-time world champion teased that the tournament, kicking off on November 10 from his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, will not only involve wrestlers from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT but maybe also names that are not a part of WWE.

Fans have started speculating who will be part of this tournament and a couple of people have already thrown their names out. This includes former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry as well as NXT star Brooks Jensen:

Jensen actually has some hidden history with John Cena. His father, Bull Buchanan, was paired with the Hollywood star in the very early days of Cena’s Doctor of Thuganomics gimmick in 2002.

The pairing only lasted a couple of months before John blamed Buchanan for a loss against Los Guerreros and replaced him with a debuting Redd Dogg. Bull was released from his WWE contract a few weeks later.

Saturday Nights Main Event Set for January 2026 Outside the U.S.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will return in January 2026 and for only the second time in history, will take place outside of the United States. During the November 1, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, it was confirmed that the special will return on January 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Fans in Canada will also get to see the January 23, edition of WWE SmackDown the previous night, also from the Bell Centre. The January 24, event will be WWE’s first Saturday Night’s Main Event in Canada since SNME 34 from Toronto in May 2007.

The January 2026 event will also take place one week before the WWE 2026 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. That show will take place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in a historic first for the event.

WWE brought back the Saturday Night’s Main Event concept in late 2024. That show will feature John Cena’s final match and a tournament will decide his final opponent.

AEW Alum Celebrate WWE Glory At Saturday Night’s Main Event

0

WWE was certainly feeling ‘All Elite’ following multiple title changes at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. The show saw Jade Cargill win the WWE Women’s Championship, ending the 300+ day reign of Tiffany Stratton. Shortly after, CM Punk won the vacant World Heavyweight Championship by beating Jey Uso.

Punk and Cargill are former AEW wrestlers, and they aren’t the only All Elite alum to hold WWE gold. On Instagram, Punk shared a photo of himself, Ricky Saints, Cargill, and Cody Rhodes, all with their WWE titles.

These four aren’t the only former AEW wrestlers to now hold gold in WWE. Ethan Page is the reigning WWE NXT North American Champion, having held the title since May. At WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, Blake Monroe won the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Monroe previously wrestled in AEW as Mariah May, where she held the AEW Women’s World Championship.

These title wins show the fluctuating nature of wrestling and how, while many who have left WWE find success in AEW, many in AEW go on to glory in WWE. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on these AEW alum and their chapters as champions of WWE.

Watch: What Happened With CM Punk After SNME Went Off Air

0

CM Punk had an interesting celebration after Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The show tonight from Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah featured a number of big matches. Both Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio retained their titles while Jade Cargill finally won the Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton.

The last match of the night was CM Punk squaring off against Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship vacated by Seth Rollins due to his shoulder injury.

The former Bloodline member did everything he could to prove that he belonged in the spot. Uso even kicked out of a big GTS sequence before Punk was finally able to pin him to pick up the victory.

What Happened After Saturday Night’s Main Event

The broadcast of the show ended with a disappointed Jey Uso looking on from the sidelines as The Straight Edge Star celebrated his win.

WWE later released a couple of videos showing Punk’s celebration after Saturday Night’s Main Event went off air. He can be seen meeting Post Malone at the ringside and with Cody Rhodes in the gorilla position:

Punk’s celebration with Post Malone has some significance as his arch-rival Seth Rollins, actually had an exchange with the music star earlier this year. After the Architect mocked the Rapper during the Clash In Paris PPV, Malone had challenged Seth to a WrestleMania 42 match.

Drew McIntyre Calls Out Ref After Latest Tainted Title Match Loss

0

Drew McIntyre is airing his grievances after another tainted loss in a WWE World Championship match, this time at Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the November 1, show, McIntyre failed to win the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes.

The finish of the match saw the referee get knocked down and Rhodes use the title to his advantage. With a stipulation in place that Rhodes would lose the title if DQ’d, Cody was able to hit a DDT on the title without the ref seeing to get the win.

Taking to X, McIntyre shared his outrage. McIntyre posted a clip of Rhodes’ infamous impression of Ted DiBiase Jr. stating “Where’s that referee? He was trying to f**k on me!”

McIntyre has been plagued by controversy in his World Championship matches. At WWE Clash At The Castle in 2022, his title hopes were dashed by a debuting Solo Sikoa. Two years later in Glasgow, CM Punk interfered, costing Drew his match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Now, McIntyre has lost once more, and yet again, his defeat was far from clean. Stay tuned to SEScoops to see what’s next for the Scottish Warrior.

CM Punk Wins Vacant World Heavyweight Title

0

CM Punk’s long road back to the top of WWE finally paid off in Salt Lake City. The “Best in the World” is once again a world champion after defeating Jey Uso in an emotional, hard-hitting main event at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show went down at the Delta Center, where fans knew history would be made.

With Seth Rollins forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to injury, the stage was set for Punk and Uso to battle for the vacant title. Punk earned his spot by winning a number-one contender’s match, while Uso secured his through a 20-man battle royal.

From the moment Jey made his entrance through the crowd, the energy inside the arena was electric. CM Punk followed to a thunderous ovation, and once the bell rang, the two wasted no time trading control in a bout that had the crowd hanging on every move.

Punk took early control, slowing the match down to his pace and working Uso over with submissions. Uso rallied back with a spear and a massive Uso Splash, nearly securing the win before Punk kicked out at two. The action spilled outside, where Jey speared Punk through the barricade, sending fans into a frenzy.

Post Malone, who was seated ringside, was caught on camera reacting in disbelief as both men hit each other with everything in their arsenals. Uso even attempted to use Punk’s own GTS finisher against him, but Punk reversed the momentum, hitting a series of crushing Go To Sleep strikes to finally put Uso down for the three-count.

After the match, Punk clutched the championship to his forehead before raising it high in front of the roaring Salt Lake City crowd. The moment was emotional—years of setbacks, injuries, and controversies all led to this comeback triumph.

The victory marks CM Punk’s seventh world title win and solidifies his return to the top of WWE’s mountain, proving that even after all these years, he can still steal the show.

Jade Cargill Captures WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event

0

Jade Cargill won her first WWE singles championship on November 1, 2025, defeating Tiffany Stratton to capture the WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The match showcased Cargill’s ruthless approach following her recent heel turn. Stratton entered the bout with a taped knee after suffering an attack from Cargill days prior, and the new champion relentlessly targeted the injury throughout the contest. Cargill dominated the majority of the match, delivering punishing offense including a devastating chokeslam before securing the pinfall victory.

Despite a brief comeback attempt from Stratton, the injured champion could not overcome Cargill’s aggressive assault. The victory marks a significant milestone for Cargill, who made a high-profile transition from AEW to WWE and has now captured her first major singles title with the company.

Cargill’s championship win immediately reshapes the women’s division landscape and sets up potential rivalries with both the former champion and other top contenders. The title change was featured as one of the marquee moments on Saturday Night’s Main Event, which also included championship matches involving CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre.

The new champion’s aggressive style and recent character shift position her as a dominant force atop the WWE women’s division heading into the final months of 2025.

Update On Cody Rhodes And CM Punk’s Place In AEW’s New History Book

0

Fears that Cody Rhodes would be erased from the history of AEW have been officially debunked. A new report from Fightful Select, which received an early review copy of the upcoming This Book Is All Elite: The Inside Story of All Elite Wrestling, confirms that the AEW co-founder and current Undisputed WWE Champion is featured prominently throughout the book.

Following the announcement of the book, which releases in early November, speculation ran rampant online that Rhodes would be omitted from the company’s history following his high-profile departure and return to WWE. Fightful reports that this is not the case, stating that Cody Rhodes is “covered no less than 15 times” in the book. His contributions are mentioned in sections covering All In, Double or Nothing, and the launch of Dynamite.

The book also details his importance to the TNT Championship and his feuds with Wardlow, MJF, Chris Jericho, and Darby Allin, as well as his departure from the company. One quote from the book by AEW commentator Excalibur reportedly states that AEW “had to figure out what their identity was going to be without Cody.” The specifics surrounding his departure, however, are not discussed.

Similarly, fans wondered if CM Punk’s contentious exit from AEW would lead to his omission. The report confirms that Punk is also “covered no less than a half-dozen times.” However, the “Brawl In” or “Brawl Out” incidents are not covered in the book.

An AEW source solidified the book’s intent to be a comprehensive history, telling Fightful: “Joey Janela is featured in it. Miro is in it. If people had a significant part in AEW’s history, they’re in it.”

The report confirms that neither Cody Rhodes nor CM Punk was interviewed for the book.

Triple H Among WWE Executives Absent From WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

0

WWE is set to produce tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, but two of the company’s most vital backstage figures will not be in attendance. According to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, neither WWE Chief Content Officer (COO) Paul “Triple H” Levesque nor Executive Director Bruce Prichard is backstage at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City for the show.

The absence of both men is described as a “rare” occurrence for a major event. As COO, Triple H typically “runs the ship” from the Gorilla Position, while Prichard oversees the creative for both Raw and SmackDown. The report notes that both men were present at the SmackDown taping last night, making their absence tonight noteworthy.

Despite the two top creative forces being missing, the show is expected to go on without issue. The report adds that “Road Dogg” Brian James, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events and a creative lead for SmackDown, is present at the show, marking his first backstage appearance in several weeks. Sources indicated that WWE is a “well-oiled machine” and is fully equipped to “make things work with the people backstage” to run the event smoothly.

Tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event is a stacked card, set to be headlined by two major world championship matches: Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, and a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned when CM Punk faces Jey Uso for the vacant title.

Drew McIntyre Wants To ‘Tear’ John Cena ‘To Pieces’ On Mic

0

Drew McIntyre doesn’t just want to wrestle John Cena; he wants to tear him to pieces on the microphone first. John Cena is on an action-packed retirement tour, with his final match scheduled for the end of this year. Now, another top star has thrown his name into the hat to work with Cena in his final program.

While speaking to The Sport Bible in a new interview, Drew McIntyre spoke of Cena’s ability on the microphone, noting that he would love to battle him verbally before sending him back to Hollywood.

“I know a lot of people online, and the chatter… a lot of people in the locker room, saying, ‘I would love to see you guys not just wrestle, but get on the microphone together’, because there’s so few people that can keep up with Cena, he is the absolute GOAT on the microphone when it comes to shredding people. He’s not just good at coming up with material prior, getting out there, he’s so quick on his feet.”

McIntyre said he has always wanted to prove his own talking ability against the best, referencing how he proved doubters wrong during his feud with CM Punk.

“I always said that I wanted to test myself against the best on the mic. People would say, ‘Drew, big guy, good wrestler, but maybe he could do with being a better talker’. And I was like, ‘What? Have you seen my indie stuff?’ Finally, when I got with Punk … I proceeded to shred him completely. And then I continued that for like, a year.
