Lilian Garcia Hopes to Announce John Cena’s Final Match

Lilian Garcia hopes to be the one to announce John Cena for his final match and that should happen if everything goes according to plan. During a recent Instagram Q&A, Garcia addressed her status for the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025.

“I will be there. So barring any surprises that I don’t know, I will be announcing it. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.“

Garcia and Cena have a rich history, as Lilian announced John countless times following his move to Raw as WWE Champion in 2005. As Garcia explained in her video, though, their connection goes deeper than what fans have seen on WWE TV.

“I announced John Cena as The Prototype before he was John Cena… and then just to see his entire career—it’s been absolutely incredible.”

Garcia summed up her views, saying it would be an “absolute honor” to announce John for his final wrestling match. John’s final match will be decided in an upcoming tournament, as confirmed during November’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.

TNA’s Mustafa Ali Shares Update After Announcing Injury

TNA Wrestling’s Mustafa Ali is dealing with an injury, though he hopefully won’t be out of action for long. Ali faced Peter Tihanyi at the German Wrestling Federation’s Legacy: 30 Jahre Berlin Wrestling on November 2. At the event, Ali shared news of his injury.

While injuries are never a positive, Ali is confident that he will not be out for long. On X, he shared that “no dates/time will be missed” and that instead, he will simply need to undergo “some extensive rehab.”

This injury comes at an interest time in Ali’s career. In October 2025, Fightful Select reported that Ali’s TNA contract will expire at the end of this year. Ali signed with TNA Wrestling back in January 2025 and is a former X-Division Champion with the company.

Darby Allin & Tony Hawk Get Approval For Georgia Skate Park

Plans are moving forward for a new skate park coming to Henry County, Georgia, one that will be opened by AEW’s Darby Allin and skateboarding icon Tony Hawk. Appearing for 1FW, Allin confirmed that Henry County has given him a plot of land to open the park and explained why this project is so important to him.

“I moved here in 2019 and I realized the nearest skate park is 30 minutes away. This is crazy! Because honestly, I wouldn’t be here without skateboarding. I really mean that.”

The park will be created by Allin and Hawk’s nonprofit orgnization, The Skatepark Project. For Allin, this park will be a great benefit for the young people in the area.

“Skateboarding changes lives. To have something for the people growing up, you know it. Henry County is getting bigger and bigger and bigger. There needs to be more stuff for the kids to do. And a skatepark, man, that will help out alot.”

Allin first announced plans for the skate park back in August, and at the time, launched a fundraiser with a targer of $50,000. For Allin, this project is about giving back to a community he has called home for several years, and provide something that can be enjoyed for generations to come.

First Matches Announced For John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament

The first matches have been confirmed for the Last Time Is Now tournament.

John Cena had announced a 16-man tournament during Saturday Night’s Main Event this past week, to determine the person who will face him in his retirement match. We got some updates on the same during the latest episode of Raw.

One of Cena’s former rivals, Rusev, was the first to announce himself for this competition. WWE later confirmed that the Bulgarian Brute will be facing the former World Champion Damian Priest in the first round of the tournament.

A second match involving two more of Cena’s former opponents, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sheamus, was also announced.

The tournament will officially kick off on the November 10 episode of Raw next week, where John Cena will be making his final appearance in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.

The 17-time world champion had teased that this competition would feature talents not only from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, but people from outside the company as well. This likely means we’ll see some surprise entrants.

John Cena will be making his final PPV appearance as active wrestler at Survivor Series on November 29. His retirement match will take place at the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Rey Mysterio is back!

Dominik Mysterio was featured on this week’s episode of Raw from Rio Rancho Event Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, celebrating his successful Intercontinental Championship defense at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The 28-year-old reiterated what he’s been saying for a while, that he is the greatest IC champion as well as the greatest luchador of all time.

This remark is what prompted the return of Dom’s father, who warned his son against disrespecting the Lucha Libre culture. The segment turned physical after the two exchanged some more words. Rey Mysterio was able to get the upper hand in the end, delivering a 619 to Dirty Dom and sending him packing.

This was the first time the former World Champion had gotten physical in the ring since before WrestleMania 41 in April. His last match came at the April 18 episode of SmackDown, right before the Show of Shows.

Rey had made appearances for AAA in the meantime after the WWE acquisition. He inducted Konnan in the AAA Hall of Fame during the TripleMania XXXIII event in August and was forced to present Dom with the AAA Mega title at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas in September.

Mysterio was scheduled for a match against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41 before his injury and we’ll see if the company renews this rivalry now that the wrestling legend is back.

Logan Paul Makes Surprise Return On WWE Raw

Logan Paul has just made his return during tonight’s November 3, 2025 episode of Raw in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Tonight’s Raw kicked off with the new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk following his title win at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Punk stated his intentions to be a fighting champion, naming the likes of AJ Styles, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, Sheamus and even John Cena as potential opponents. He said he invited pretty much anyone to try and step up, at which point he was greeted by the entrance of the returning Logan Paul.

This is the first time Paul has appeared in WWE since his loss to John Cena at Clash In Paris at the end of August. CM Punk wasn’t exactly thrilled and advised Logan Paul to instead go and try out Ilja Dragunov’s United States Title open challenge on SmackDown.

As Punk and Paul were verbally going at it, they were interrupted by the entrance of Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman ordered Paul to get out of their way, but he refused, telling them they should have been quicker to come out. At that point, Bron Breakker got on the microphone and said he’s not waiting any longer and he’s coming after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Punk pointed out to Paul that he needed to either help Punk fight off Breakker and Reed, or leave the ring and get out of the way. Paul teased getting involved, but instead opted to leave the ring. He got shoved down by Breakker and Reed anyway as he tried to get past them.

As Breakker and Reed then attacked Punk, Paul got back in the ring and tried to fight them off. He ended up eating a Tsunami from Reed. Punk got back in the ring with a steel chair as Breakker fled, managing to strike Reed with the chair a couple of times.

WWE legend Tatanka says that his sons have received the opportunity to visit the WWE Performance Center and are now training at The Dungeon. Tatanka recently spoke with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge at 90’s Wrestling Con and noted that his two sons got an invite on behalf of Triple H.

Tatanka noted that the invite was extended after Triple H saw him and his sons at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He confirmed that WWE referred them to Natalya & TJ Wilson’s Dungeon. The two young men, Jeremiah and Joseph Chavic, were in a photo shared by Tatanka to Instagram from the Dungeon last month.

“Oh, it’s absolutely awesome. About three months ago, I went to Saturday Night’s Main Event. Triple H sees both of our boys… He says, ‘They got to get in the Performance Center now.’ He sends a message; Triple H didn’t walk further than about five feet away, my phone started blowing up. All the executives of WWE already set an appointment for them to go to the Performance Center.”

“They went to the Performance Center; everyone loved him. Matt Bloom, which is head of the WWE Performance Center, fell in love with him. Called them ‘two studs.’ Shawn Michaels was there. Undertaker was there. So we came out of that, they had already recommended where they wanted us to go. which I’m so honored to be there; they’re actually training at the Dungeon.”

“Well, my advice is exactly where they’re at. Be at The Dungeon. How you get trained is key. That’s the reason Nattie Neidhart and TJ Wilson, they’re so key on, ‘If you do it right the first time, you got it down.’ So, you got to do it right the first time.”

The facility run by Natalya and TJ Wilson, known as “The Dungeon 2.0,” has become an elite, invite-only workshop for many active WWE stars looking to sharpen their skills, as well as new prospects. Recent reports confirm Tatanka’s sons have been seen training at the facility alongside other second-generation talents like Aalyah Mysterio.

WWE’s Saudi Arabia Plans Could Ruin Royal Rumble Surprises

It is possible any surprises for the Royal Rumble next year may not be much of a surprise. WWE’s annual event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Bryan Alvarez notes that with the event taking place internationally, any surprises set to take place on the show would be hard to hide. “There is a feeling that we might not get Royal Rumble surprises this year if only for the fact that sneaking people into Saudi Arabia will be a lot harder,” he writes. “Most likely surprises would take place the week prior at SNME.”

WWE announced over the weekend that it will be heading to Montreal for a January edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. That show is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, one week prior to the Royal Rumble.

Surprises are commonplace in both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. Notable ones from the 2025 event included the returns of Alexa Bliss, Trish Stratus, and Nikki Bella. The 2025 Rumble also featured streamer iShowSpeed, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, and Jordynne Grace, who has since signed with WWE.

Norman Joel Lewis, Co-Founder of LJN, Dead At 98

Norman Joel Lewis, co-founder of the toy company and video game publisher LGN has sadly passed away. The news was shared by the Book Pro Wrestlers Facebook page, who shared a tribute to Lewis.

LJN was founded by Jack Friedman and funded by Lewis, whose initials would serve as the basis of the company’s name. In 1984, LJN became toy licensee of the World Wrestling Federation. For the next five years, LJN created many toys under its popular ‘WWF Superstars’ range.

For countless fans, the LJN figures was their first taste of recreating wrestling action at home. Decades later, the LJN line remains so iconic, that WWE recently announced that it will be replicating LJN figures with a mixture of modern stars and legends. .

The efforts of Lewis and others helped bring joy to countless wrestling fans, and his influence continues to be felt to this day. We at SEScoops would like to share our condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.

WWE announcer Lilian Garcia is officially off the market after sharing with her fans that she is now an engaged woman. Taking to social media, Garcia shared the exciting news.

“As you guys know, I was single for almost four years. And I let you guys know earlier this year that I was dating somebod. and it’s gone to another level. I’m engaged! I’m engaged! What?! Yes, I’m engaged. Super happy about it.”

Garcia didn’t share who the special man in her life is, but fans may recognize him. Though his identity remains a mystery, Lilian shared that her beau was a wrestler.

“I’m just with somebody who totally gets the business because he actually was a wrestler! You guys are gonna be like ‘Wait! Who is this?’ We’ll get to that.”

Lilian was married to her first husband for 13 years before the couple divorced. In 2009, she married Christopher Jozeph but the couple divorced in April 2022. In her video, Garcia shared the positives from her time as a single woman post-Jozeph.

“It gave me a time to really heal a lot of past wounds. It gave me a time to really know what I wanted in a relationship. So now in this new relationship, I’m just so extremely happy about it.”

Rusev Reveals The Secret To His Body Transformation

WWE star Rusev has commented on his body transformation over the years and how he got into the shape he is in today. Rusev has been appearing on-screen since his NXT debut in 2013 and looks vastly different now than he did back then. He even looks very different currently than he did in his last run with WWE that ended in 2020.

Appearing on the Identity Crisis podcast hosted by his wife CJ Perry (Lana), Rusev discussed his transformation.

“It’s about trial and error. I’ve been trying for years to get in shape. It’s not that I just decided now before my comeback. In AEW, things were starting to click a little bit. I found a coach, I found a trainer who wrote me a program, who wrote me like an actual diet. Not just, ‘You’ve gotta eat this, this and this,’ but explaining to me the calories, the intake, the output and all that. And from then, you’ve just gotta try and see what works for you. Because what works for me doesn’t mean it’s gonna work for you.”

When CJ Perry pointed out that Rusev is a “God of muscles”, Rusev said he does not necessarily see himself as that.

“You always want to improve certain things. I think that’s what pushes some people to be better than others. I can’t even imagine looking at myself in the mirror like, ‘Oh man, you look freakin’ great bro. Why even go to the gym?’ I’d never even imagine that. It’s always, ‘This little bit, this little bit, maybe a little bit here, maybe a little bit here. Okay, if I do cardio extra for this long, maybe this will help.’ That’s always been the process, it’s never being happy with the final product.”

Rusev, who is part of the Raw brand, is currently in a rivalry with Men’s Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. The feud between the two has escalated in recent weeks including a triple threat match at Saturday Night’s Main Event with Penta that saw Mysterio retain.

Fans can expect to see more of Leilani Kai on WWE TV after the former Women’s Champion shared that she has signed a Legends Deal with the promotion. Speaking to Bill Apter for The Apter Chat, Kai shared how WWE approached her during recovery from surgery.

“I was in the hospital, and after my surgery, a couple days later they, WWE, called and asked if they could take care of my hospital bill or if there was anything they could do.“

Kai turned the offer down, sharing that she was already being taken care of. Then, WWE’s representative dropped the bombshell, revealing they wanted her with ‘the family’ under a WWE Legends Deal.

“I told them no, I was taken care of, I was fine. And then they told me they wanted me to join their family.“

Kai admitted to being surprised by the offer, which Apter congratulated her on. When asked if Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque rang her, Kai shared it wasn’t The Game, but rather an assistant by the name of Ben Brown.

Though Kai didn’t share when exactly she signed, it is believed that the contract was inked in late 2024 as her hip surgery was at that time. Kai appeared at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May 2025, marking her first WWE appearance in over 30 years. Mere months later, she appeared at the WWE Evolution event in July and her first shirt ever released would sell out on WWEShop.com in less than a month.

A former WWF and NWA Women’s Champion and WWF Women’s Tag Champion who competed at WrestleMania 1, Kai is certainly a legend. Now, she is part of the WWE ‘family’ with this exciting deal.

TNA Wrestling’s Ash By Elegance has vacated another wrestling championship as questions remain about her in-ring future. At the most recent Boca Raton Championship Wrestling event, Ash vacated the promotion’s Women’s Championship.

“I have to tell you something extremely difficult, so bear with me. I have to make an announcement that I am not medically cleared to compete, so with a heavy heart, I have to forfeit this title.”

This sad development at BRCW’s November Knockdown comes mere weeks after Ash, known to WWE fans as Dana Brooke, was forced to vacate the TNA Knockouts Championship. The vacated title was won by WWE NXT’s Kelani Jordan, who holds the gold to this day.

It didn’t take long for the title to find a new home. During November Knockdown, Shayna Baszler won the vacated title, winning a match against Lacey Lane (known to WWE fans as Kayden Carter.)

It’s unclear when, if ever, Ash will be back in the ring, but her comments so far do not paint a positive picture. During a virtual signing, Ash referred to one item she was selling as “the shirt I retired in,” suggesting that her career in the ring is already over.

WWE Reportedly “Very Disappointed” With Saturday Night’s Main Event Ticket Sales

WWE’s return to Salt Lake City for the Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 was reportedly met with frustration backstage due to “very disappointing” ticket sales. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the turnout at the Delta Center was a significant letdown for company officials.

Despite a pay-per-view-level card, the event’s attendance was noticeably below WWE’s strong 2025 average. WrestleTix reported a final count of 7,867 tickets distributed for a setup of 8,088. This figure was a significant drop from the 11,000-12,000 fans the company has been averaging for its major events this year.

The low attendance was even more glaring when compared to the SmackDown taping in the same arena just 11 months prior (November 2024), which drew a reported 8,394 fans. The SmackDown taping the night before Saturday Night’s Main Event also struggled, drawing a lower-than-average crowd and forcing the company to open up previously tarped-off upper sections to accommodate last-minute sales.

For the PLE, WWE reportedly had to move many fans down to lower sections to make the arena look fuller on camera, a common practice when ticket sales are low.

Scott Steiner “Would Definitely Go Back” To WWE For Bron Breakker Storyline

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has admitted he would be open to returning to WWE television for a storyline involving his nephew, the new top-tier star Bron Breakker. This is a significant statement from Steiner, who had a notoriously bad relationship with the company for nearly two decades following his departure in 2004.

Steiner, who made his name as a tag team specialist with his brother Rick before transforming into the “Big Poppa Pump” character in WCW, had a brief and unsuccessful second run with WWE from 2002 to 2004. That run, which saw him arrive with an injury, is mostly remembered for a panned feud with Triple H. For years afterward, Steiner was intensely critical of WWE, its management, and the McMahon family, making a return seem impossible.

Backstage Update On MJF’s AEW Hiatus

An update has emerged on the status of former AEW World Champion MJF, who has been off All Elite Wrestling programming since September. According to a new report from Fightful Select, MJF is set to finish filming his role in the upcoming movie Violent Night 2 “relatively soon.”

While his filming schedule is reportedly wrapping up, it is not yet known when he is expected to make his return to AEW television. The report notes that MJF has “the acting bug” and has spoken highly about his experience on the film set. This role in Violent Night 2 is the latest in a growing list of Hollywood credits for the star, who also appeared as Lance Von Erich in The Iron Claw and had a prominent role as Gordie Gilmore in Happy Gilmore 2.

MJF’s last appearance on AEW TV was at the All Out pay-per-view on September 20, 2025, where he lost a brutal Tables & Thumbtacks No Disqualification match to Mark Briscoe. The feud between the two began when Briscoe’s interference at Forbidden Door in July cost MJF the AEW World Championship in his match against “Hangman” Adam Page.

Following his loss at All Out, AEW aired a promo from MJF in which he declared he was leaving the company. He vowed not to return until he had become one of the most dangerous men in the business and was ready to take his spot at the top of the industry “his way.”

Ethan Page and Chelsea Green are the new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions after ending the lengthy reign of Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra. For the WWE duo, this is their first taste of mixed tag team gold, and this victory makes Page, the NXT North American Champion, a double champion.

“We just became the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, making me a double champion. And you’re about to become a double champion too! This Friday, when you become the United States Champion and beat Giulia.”

Page then asked Green for her thoughts on their win, and the ‘Hot Mess’ retierated her past comments that the pair are “Numero Uno.” Green signed off with an “Adios” before the smug new champions took their leave.

Green and Page also shared a post-win photo on Instagram. In the caption, the pair declared themselves “The greatest North Americans.”

CJ ‘Lana’ Perry and Rusev have opened up about their divorce now that they’ve reconciled, with Perry claiming she was served on her birthday. Appearing together on the Identity Crisis podcast, Perry made her bold claim about the timing of the couple’s split.

“He served divorce papers on my birthday, this is shoot. He literally [served papers on my birthday.]”

Rusev was quick to deny the claim that he served the divorce papers on her birthday. Leaning into their roles in WWE, Miro claimed this was his wife’s ‘storyline’ and alluded to CM Punk being served his WWE termination papers on his wedding day in 2014.

“It was not on her birthday. She’s taking the CM Punk storyline… This is not true though!”

When asked if the divorce was a work, Rusev shared that the split between the two was the real deal. In 2024, Perry confirmed the pair were separated after years of marriage. These videos have sparked a lot of discussion about Americano/Kaiser, who has been in a relationship with Tiffany Stratton. While many fans now believe Kaiser and Stratton have split, neither side has spoken publicly about the rumored break up.

Bazarte is a 33-year-old from McAllen, Texas, who serves as the Digital TV host of WWE Espanol. Bazarte has also modeled for the Boga Models agency, and is active on social media, including boasting 347,000 followers on Instagram.

WWE SmackDown Superstar Has Name Changed

Zelina Vega has undergone a slight name change, according to WWE’s official website. On her profile, the former Women’s United States Champion is known simply as ‘Zelina,’ and no longer has the ‘Vega’ name attached.

No explanation has been given by WWE for the change. During Vince McMahon’s tenure running WWE, several Superstars had their names shortened or changed, including (Matt) Riddle, (Austin) Theory and Pete Dunne, who later became Butch. At the time, it was reported that WWE wanted to avoid talent using their real names on TV. However, this doesn’t apply in Zelina’s case, as she does not useany part of her real name (Thea Mega Trinidad Büdgen) on TV.

Zelina was recently paired up with her real-life husband Aleister Black on TV as the pair seek to launch destruction on the rest of the roster. 2025 has also seen Zelina win her first singles title in WWE, though her reign as Women’s U.S. Champion was ended by Giulia in June. Outside the ring, Zelina signed with the Prototype Talent Agency, demonstrating her desire for roles and work outside of wrestling.

Ethan Page Eyes Third Title After AAA Star’s Challenge

Ethan Page could soon be a triple champion after being challenged to a match for the AAA Latin American Championship for Guerra de Titanes. At AAA Day of the Dead on November 2, Champion Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. issued a challenge to Page for the December 20, show.

Wagner’s challenge came after he retained the AAA Latin American Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo. At WWE NXT Halloween Havov, Page defeated Wagner in a Day Of The Dead match.

For Page, this title match is a chance to win a third title. Page is already the WWE NXT North American Champion, a title he gave a Canadian redesign earlier this year. At Day of the Dead, he and Chelsea Green captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, making ‘All Ego’ a double champion.

Whether Page becomes a triple champion on December 20, only time will tell. But should he win the gold, fans will certainly hear all about it from the ‘All Ego’ Superstar.

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jade Cargill captured the WWE Women’s Championship, ending the 302-day reign of Tiffany Stratton. This win kicks off Jade’s first singles title reign in WWE and her first singles title reign in wrestling in over two years.

On her Instagram Stories, Jade shared a message to her mother, who sadly died of cancer mere months after her daughter’s WWE debut. Reflecting on others that she’s lost, Jade wished her mother could have lived to see her win before playfully recalling her mom’s concerns about her in-ring attire.

Jade’s post is far softer than her immediate comments after her victory over Stratton. Following her win, Cargill mocked her doubters, saying that while doubt looks good on them, “gold looks better on me.”

This win marks Cargill’s first taste of singles gold in WWE. The new champion is also a two-time former Women’s Tag Team Champion and captured the Queen of the Ring crown earlier this year. Outside WWE, Cargill was the first-ever AEW TBS Champion, though her reign was recently surpassed in length by Mercedes Mone.

Jade joined WWE in September 2023, mere weeks after her time with AEW came to an end. Now, Jade has risen to the top of the SmackDown women’s division, and will always remember those family members who helped her every step of the way.

NBA’s Joel Embiid Fined For Using DX ‘Suck It’ Taunt

Joel Embiid is paying for using D-Generation X’s ‘Suck It’ taunt during the Philadelphia 76ers game against the Boston Celtics. Embiid used the taunt early in the first quarter after hitting a bucket and drawing the foul.

Embiid was fined $50,000 for the taunt which the NBA described as “a lewd gesture.” On X, Embiid shared his response.

This isn’t the first time that Embiid’s support for DX has gotten him in trouble. In 2024, he was part of the Olympic Gold Medal-winning team USA at the Summer Games in Paris. After capturing the gold medal by beating the French team, Embiid riled up fans by telling the French crowd to ‘Suck It.’

In January 2024, Embiid led the 76ers to victory over the Denver Nuggets, and again delivered a ‘Suck It’ taunt. In 2023, he was fined for using the taunt, and while the NBA wasn’t happy, this act earned him an invite to WrestleMania 40 from Triple H.

With his DX fandom in no doubt, it remains to be seen if Embiid ever competes in a WWE ring. For now, Embiid is ready to give two words to his opponents on court, even if it gets him in trouble.
