Giulia Update Amid NXT Absence

0

Giulia has not appeared on WWE television since her title loss at NXT: Roadblock 2025, though she was recently spotted at a WWE live event. At the March event, Giulia dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Stephanie Vaquer, the reigning champion who just forfeited the NXT Women’s North American title.

Giulia has been at the WWE Performance Center in recent weeks, per Fightful, but has not participated in any in-ring training since her title loss. While there is speculation of a possible ankle injury, this has not been officially confirmed. WWE is said to remain hopeful about her return.

Giulia’s 2025 in NXT has marked a breakout year, firmly establishing her as one of the brand’s top stars. She captured the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT: New Year’s Evil on January 7 after defeating Roxanne Perez, becoming only the third wrestler to hold both the World of Stardom Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship—joining Asuka and IYO SKY. Her reign featured a high-profile defense at NXT Vengeance Day in February, where she retained her title in a fatal four-way against Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade.

Though her championship run ended on March 11 in a Winner Takes All match against Vaquer, Giulia’s impact on the women’s division has been undeniable. Her charisma, in-ring style, and ability to elevate talent around her have positioned her as a standout presence in NXT.

Nintendo has confirmed that WWE 2K25 will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, marking the franchise’s return to Nintendo platforms since WWE 2K18 in 2017. The announcement was made during Wednesdays Nintendo Direct presentation.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5, 2025. This new iteration maintains the hybrid design of its predecessor but introduces several enhancements. It features a larger 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a more vibrant and smoother visual experience.

The Joy-Con controllers have been redesigned for improved ergonomics and now attach magnetically to the console. Additionally, these controllers can function similarly to a computer mouse, offering new gameplay possibilities. A notable addition is the “C” button, which activates the GameChat feature, allowing players to communicate with friends during online gaming sessions.

The Switch 2 also boasts 256GB of internal storage, accommodating a more extensive game library and media. The accompanying dock supports 4K output, enhancing the gaming experience on compatible televisions.

To provide gamers with a hands-on experience before the official release, Nintendo will host “Switch 2 Experience” events in major cities, including Los Angeles, New York, London, and Paris, starting this month. These events will offer an opportunity to explore the new features and capabilities of the Switch 2 firsthand.

‘I Got Got!’ – R-Truth Admits Falling For WWE 2K April Fools Prank

0

R-Truth may be known as WWE’s resident funny man, but the comedic Superstar recently fell for a practical joke from the team at WWE 2K25. For April Fool’s Day, the WWE 2K account on X claimed that a Limited Edition of the new game would feature Truth on the cover. While Truth learned that this was just a prank, that realization only came after he thought the new coer was the real deal.

While Truth doesn’t have his own limited edition of WWE 2K25, he is a part of the largest wrestling video game of all time. Truth is a veteran of WWE video games, dating all the way back to WWF Raw (2002) where he appeared as K-Kwik. Ironically, Truth’s first appearance in a WWE video game would come without him being under contract, as he was released in August 2001.

Now a fixture of WWE video games, Truth continues to entertain fans both in the ring and in the gaming world. While he isn’t following The Bloodline and The Undertaker with a limited edition of WWE 2K25, Truth continues to be a hit with fans and gamers alike.

Rhodes was pivotal in the formation of AEW, though fans often gave him a frosty reaction during his All-Elite run. Rhodes is now the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, a two-time Royal Rumble and had a brief tag-team title reign with Jey Uso in 2023.

Lexis King

Lexis King Heritage Cup

The NXT Heritage Cup holder, King’s time in thhe silver brand has been a major success for him. Previously, he was Brian Pillman Jr. in AEW where he and ally Griff Garrison never won gold.

Shawn Spears

The man Ricky Saints beat to win the NXT North American Title, Spears won the gold earlier this year. In AEW, Spears received a strong start and a feud with Cody Rhodes but the momentum of the ‘Chairman’ would quickly peter out.

Jade Cargill

Cargill was pushed strong from the start of her AEW career and would become the promotion’s first TBS Champion. In WWE, Cargill is a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion and fans expect singles gold in her future in due time.

Ethan Page

Andrade

A name fans expected big things for in AEW, Andrade’s time with the company ended in 2023 without any gold to his name. Though the former NXT and U.S. Champion has yet to hold gold on WWE TV since returning, he has held the WWE Speed Championship.

Honorable Mention: Blair Davenport

Grabby WWE Fan Gives Her Side, Argues Selective Outrage

0

At the March 24, edition of WWE Raw in Glasgow, things turned sour after the show went off the air. One fan in attendance repeatedly grabbed at CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, making for an uncomfortable situation. After Punk made clear that this wasn’t appropriate, the fan grabbed him again. Punk allegedly warned the fan that if she tried to cross the line again “I’m going to punch you in the face.”

Footage of the incident was recorded by a photographer named Kirsten and footage of the incident quickly went viral. The fan in question has been identified as Morgan Holly Moore, an Only Fans model and content creator. On her Instagram, Moore was unfazed by the backlash to her actions inside Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena.

Walking back after WWE fans tried cancelling me ??

Morgan also took to X to explain her side of things and was far less smug about what transpired. Moore claimed that she was unaware of a ‘no-touching policy.’ She also mocked the hygenie of other fans, saying it “makes sense” that WWE talent wouldn’t want to touch fans.

Moore also questioned the uproar from other WWE fans which she finds to be hypocritical. Moore argued that fans have been selective with their outrage given that they’ll still watch Logan Paul despite the many controversies to his name. Moore also brought up WWE promoting someone “that beat up his wife,” a nod to WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

Moore’s actions at the show have sparked a conversation among fans about fans who go too far when it comes to coming close with talent. While Superstars often get up-close with fans, typicallt for photos of other post-match moments, Moore clearly crossed a line with Punk and the American Nightmare.

Fake Chants Replace NSFW Comments On WrestleMania 40 Replay

0

WWE launched on Netflix earlier this year in a blockbuster deal between the two entertainment juggernauts. While fans speculated that this would mark an end to the censorship seen on TV, that hasn’t been the case at all.

If one goes to watch WrestleMania 40’s six-team ladder match, they’ll see that some chants have not just been edited but replaced. During the match, “Holy s***” chants have been cut and replaced with piped-in chants of “This is awesome.” While the match was certainly awesome, this isn’t the chant those attending the show inside Lincoln Financial Field gave at the time.

This is the latest example of WWE content being muted on the Netflix era. Recent chants at WWE’s European events have been muted, including the “F*** you Cena” chant from recent episodes of Monday Night Raw. Over on SmackDown, a botch from Solo Sikoa which led to the former Tribal Chief dropping an F-bomb has also been cut.

WWE is letting a lot slide on TV and at PLEs, including Cody Rhodes telling The Rock to “Go f*** yourself” at Elimination Chamber: Toronto. With that in mind, it’s clear that not every comment being made, either by fans or the Superstars themselves, is going to be part of replays.

Fan Carrying Liv Morgan’s Mugshot Ejected From WWE Meet & Greet

0

Liv Morgan isn’t laughing about her 2023 arrest, something she made very clear this week in London, England. Ahead of WWE Monday Night RAW in London, a fan attended a meet-and-greet hoping to snap a photo with Morgan. But instead of bringing merch, a championship belt, or a personalized sign, they showed up with a printed copy of her December 2023 mugshot.

TikTok user Asad shared a video of the moment, explaining what went down:

“Someone brought a Liv Morgan photo shot pic when she got arrested so they refused to take picture with them so we sang them bye.”

In the video, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio are seen waving goodbye to the fan while the rest of the crowd sings them out. Clearly, Liv, her allies, and the rest of those at the event didn’t see the funny side of the fan bringing up Morgan’s legal trouble.

Morgan was arrested in Sumter County, Florida, where she was charged with marijuana possession. Her attractive mugshot quickly went viral. Some fans praised her appearance in the photo, while others tried to capitalize on it, printing it on t-shirts and other gear. At the time, it was reported that Morgan had no heat with WWE, reflecting their changing stance on marijuana.

Morgan’s arrest did not stop her from having a career-defining 2024 with several massive wins to her name. To this day, the former Women’s World Champion remains one of WWE’s most beloved stars, but if you’re bringing up her past for laughs, don’t expect a photo op.

Ricky Saints Wins NXT Gold, Ethan Page Attacks

0

Ricky Saints captured the NXT North American Championship in a hard-fought victory over Shawn Spears during the April 1 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. The win marks Saints’ first title since debuting in WWE earlier this year.

The match was set following a heated exchange between the two former AEW stars on the March 25 episode. In a competitive main event that showcased both men’s in-ring strengths, Saints overcame Spears to secure the championship.

Moments after the victory, Ethan Page launched a surprise attack on the new champion. Standing tall over Saints while raising the North American Title, Page signaled himself as the first challenger of the new reign.

The crowd chanted “Tony fumbled” throughout the match—a pointed reference to AEW President Tony Khan. The phrase has become a fan-favorite chant when former AEW talents find greater success elsewhere, suggesting that Khan failed to fully utilize their potential before they departed.

Bret Hart: Vince McMahon Governed Things In A Shady Way And Didn’t Care About The Craft

0

The infamous Montreal Screwjob at WWE Survivor Series 1997, where Vince McMahon orchestrated a controversial ending to Bret Hart’s WWE Title match against Shawn Michaels, forever bound the two men’s legacies.

For decades, the idea of a WWE without McMahon at its helm seemed inconceivable. However, this perception was shattered in January 2024 when McMahon resigned as chairman following a lawsuit filed by former employee Janel Grant.

Grant’s allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault against McMahon sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, leading to his abrupt departure and marking a significant turning point in WWE’s history. This resignation, ending his long control of the company, and the legal battle that followed, created a new chapter for the wrestling giant.

While appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he thought there would ever be a time when Vince wasn’t running WWE

“No. I feel that, as great as he was as far as ideas and imagination…in a lot of ways there is nobody like him. At the same time, I feel that he kind of governed things in a shady way. He didn’t care necessarily about the craft. I always thought about what he did to me. I like to think that I was his greatest artist and in the end I was just another [wipes hands] ‘get rid of him. He’s done.’ As much greatness as Vince brought to wrestling, he always brought a lot of negative and corrupted thinking to it. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there is a little more integrity right now and the guys being pushed are being pushed because they’re talented and not because they are Vince’s favorites.”

McMahon’s decision to call for the bell without Hart’s knowledge or consent created a shift in professional wrestling, marking a moment of betrayal that reverberated throughout the industry. Hart’s subsequent departure for WCW further fueled the animosity between the two, solidifying the Screwjob as a defining moment in their complex relationship.

Despite the deep-seated animosity stemming from the 1997 incident, Hart and McMahon eventually reconciled, culminating in Hart’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. They later worked a match at WrestleMania 26.

Stephanie Vaquer Relinquishes Women’s North American Title

0

The NXT Women’s North American Championship has been officially vacated, setting the stage for a high-stakes ladder match at Stand & Deliver. The announcement was made by Ava and Stephanie Vaquer at the beginning of NXT, with Ava explaining that the North American title’s prestige demands frequent defenses, a challenge given Vaquer’s dual championship status. Recognizing this, both agreed that Vaquer would relinquish the North American title, paving the way for a new champion to be crowned in a six-woman ladder match at the upcoming event.

However, Vaquer stipulated a condition for her relinquishment: the right to choose her opponent for Stand & Deliver. This twist immediately added intrigue to the situation, sparking a heated debate. Jordynne Grace emerged, making a compelling case for her inclusion in the ladder match, only to be interrupted by Jaida Parker. A verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical brawl, requiring security intervention to separate the two competitors. This unexpected turn of events amplified the tension surrounding the vacated title and the upcoming Stand & Deliver event.

Vaquer’s journey to becoming a double champion began at Roadblock last month, where she defeated Giulia to capture the NXT Women’s title. Her ability to defend both championships was tested on the previous week’s NXT show, showcasing her resilience and dominance. She successfully retained the Women’s title against Jaida Parker and then, in a hard-fought main event, defended the North American title against Fallon Henley.

The decision to vacate the North American title, coupled with Vaquer’s stipulation and the subsequent brawl between Grace and Parker, has created a compelling narrative leading into Stand & Deliver. The six-woman ladder match promises to be a chaotic and unpredictable affair, with numerous competitors vying for the vacated championship. This development has injected significant excitement into the NXT women’s division, setting the stage for a potentially historic moment at the upcoming event.

Charlotte Flair: If It Happens, I Look Forward To Creating More Magic At WWE Evolution 2

0

Charlotte Flair has expressed her eagerness to participate in a potential Evolution 2 event, following recent reports from WrestleVotes and PWN indicating WWE’s plans for a second all-women’s pay-per-view this summer.

In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Alex McCarthy, Flair conveyed her anticipation for the event, highlighting her desire to create another memorable match should WWE proceed with its rumored plans.

“One of my favourite matches is from the first evolution. Becky Lynch, last woman standing. One of my top three favourite matches. There’s always rumours that it’s happening, so until it happens, I can’t say yet because we don’t know. Y’all are the ones with the scoop! No, I mean, I think it’d be great if we have it. But I still think the goal is to have more main events and more storylines and so on. The magic that I created on the first one, if it comes to fruition, I look forward to creating more magic on Evolution 2.”

The first-ever Evolution event, held on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, marked a significant milestone for women’s professional wrestling. This groundbreaking pay-per-view featured a compelling lineup of matches, culminating in a headline bout between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey, solidifying its place in wrestling history. The event’s success underscored the growing prominence of women’s wrestling within WWE and the industry as a whole.

Recent reports suggest that WWE is exploring the possibility of hosting a second Evolution premium live event on July 5th at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. However, it’s important to note that these plans remain preliminary. Sources have indicated that the schedule is still subject to change, and the event is currently in the developmental phase. This uncertainty highlights the fluid nature of event planning within WWE.

John Cena Keeps Fans Guessing With WWE Programming Ahead of WrestleMania 41

0

John Cena has been in the headlines ever since he shocked the world when he turned heel at the WWE Elimination Chamber. Well, that wasn’t it. ‘The Leader of Cenation’ has informed fans that there’s more unpredictability on the way.

John Cena is on the quest to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship and become a 17-time champion. If he manages to defeat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, he will finally eclipse WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s record of 16 championship reigns. While fans thought they have seen everything with Cena’s heel turn, the future Hall of Famer assured that there’s more to come.

Speaking in an interview with PEOPLE, Cena hyped his match at WrestleMania 41 and assured there’s more “unpredictability” on the way. Of course, he remained tight-lipped on the plans and didn’t give any spoilers. However, he teased more surprises in the future. John Cena said :

“I’m going to say that there’s more unpredictability on the way. Here’s the stance I’m going to take on it, and I think hopefully I can put it in terms you can understand: We’re in the middle of a very riveting season of episodic television and you are kindly asking me to give you spoilers, and I can’t do that. What I did really enjoy about your question is you expressed the unpredictability of WWE programming, and I think that’s one strong point of the current state of WWE is its unpredictability in its programming.”

During the latest edition of WWE Raw, John Cena and Cody Rhodes came face to face. They had a heated battle of words and they took some personal shots at each other. The former 16-time World Champion even dropped references of Cody’s AEW career while ‘The American Nightmare’ reminded Cena of his hostile relationship with fans. The segment ended with Cody taking out Cena was Cross Rhodes.

‘They Wrestle My Style’: Bret Hart Reflects on His Lasting Legacy

0

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart offered a candid, self-aware take on his own legacy during his appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.

In response to Hulk Hogan’s recent remarks questioning Hart’s self-confidence, the “Hitman” didn’t push back—instead, he subtly embraced the critique while highlighting a deeper truth.

“I heard something a few months ago where Hulk Hogan was talking about me,” Hart said. “He said the problem with Bret Hart is that he doesn’t think he was the greatest wrestler of all time. And I remember thinking about that and going, yeah, maybe… that might be the most truthful thing he’s ever said.”

But rather than comparing careers in terms of charisma or mainstream fame, Hart pointed to his technical wrestling style—and how it continues to shape the next generation of talent.

“You don’t see anybody imitating Hulk Hogan or Ultimate Warrior,” Hart said. “You see a lot of the wrestlers today really trying their best to capture my style—or some of the guys I worked with, like Dynamite Kid, Kurt Hennig, and my brother Owen.

That’s the biggest compliment I can get from today’s generation.”

As WWE honors Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin with the inaugural Immortal Moment award for their iconic WrestleMania 13 match, it’s clear his influence runs deeper than catchphrases or theatrics. It’s in the craft—and the countless wrestlers who’ve studied his every move.

Mick Foley Involved in Car Accident, Taken To Hospital

0

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious car accident. On social media, Foley shared a photo from his wrecked vehicle.

Foley’s post sparked hundreds of well-wishes from fans and those from within the wrestling industry. Joey Janela highlighted that Foley is “built different” and said he’s glad Foley is okay. Parker Boudreaux said he was “so happy you’re good,” while So CalVal advised the WWE Hall of Famer to “heal up well, legendary friend!”

Foley is no stranger to concussions and faced more than his fair share throughout his wrestling career. Though his time in the ring is over, the issues stemming from concussions prove to be an issue. Foley had intended to wrestle one final death match for her 60th birthday but canceled all plans after experiencing concussion-like symptoms.

We here at SEScoops are sending our best to Mick Foley at this time.

Booker T Reveals What Sharmell Really Thinks About His Risqué Commentary

0

Booker T’s commentary as part of WWE NXT has made him a fan favorite, but what does his wife Sharmell make to his often-flirty observations of the brand’s women? Speaking to Muscle Man Malcolm, Booker shared that his darling queen knows that his comments are just for show.

“She understands the business. She’s been in the entertainment business since she was a little girl — beauty pageants and whatnot.”

When Sharmell sees Booker salivate over the likes of Lola Vice, Stephanie Vaquer, or Jaida Parker, “she knows that I’m working.” Reflecting further on his commentary, Booker made clear that his passionate calls aren’t to get fans talking about him, but the talent in the ring.

“It’s not about me. If I can put some light on Stephanie Viquaire, Jada Parker, Trick Williams — I’m going to do my job.”

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer first became a commentator for WWE in 2011 and his role behind the desk has spawned countless memes. Despite his signature lines, including the beloved “Shucky Ducky Quack Quack!”, Booker’s comments here offer a reminder that behind the character is a professional deeply committed to the craft. For all his comments, his heart belongs to the wife who knows the difference between the man and the persona who’s always got plenty to say about WWE NXT’s women’s division.

With Sharmell in his corner, fans can expect Booker T to continue to call matches in his signature way. And no matter what he may have to see, the WCW legend won’t have to worry about being sent to the doghouse or sleeping on the couch.

‘He Has It All’: WWE Hall of Famer Sees MJF As WWE World Champion

0

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long believes MJF is “missing a big opportunity” by not already being in WWE, as he has all the tools to become a World Champion in the TKO Promotion. On the Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Long made his case for MJF to jump to the competiton. .

“I like MJF. I hope he does get an opportunity and go to the WWE one day. I think he’s missing a big opportunity by not being in the WWE. If he went there, they’d certainly do a lot of good things with him.”

MJF would get over in whatever position WWE put him in, Long added, further demonstrating his high estimation of the AEW star. When asked if he thinks MJF could reach the very top of WWE’s roster, Long was confident it’d happen.

“Of course I do, yes, yes. I mean, why wouldn’t you? Here’s a guy that can work, he’s good on the microphone—he has it all. So why wouldn’t you make him champ?”

Veteran journalist Bill Apter added that MJF’s real-life persona already fits WWE’s mold and noted that MJF “grew up watching WWE as a Long Island kid” adding that Long Island is “WWE territory.” Apter noted that MJF would “gel” in with WWE’s roster which features high profile names including Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, as well as former AEW rivals Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.

MJF spent years teasing joining WWE before signing a new contract with AEW, a moment marked with a tattoo on the Devil’s body. While AEW has done right by MJF, the company’s longest reigning World Champion, a move to WWE could come if Long gets his way.

Steve Austin Reacts To WWE Hall Of Fame Match Induction

0

Steve Austin offered his candid reaction to the recent announcement of his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame’s new “Immortal Moments” wing. The wrestling world was stirred on Friday, March 28th, when WWE revealed this new Hall of Fame category, with the iconic WrestleMania 13 match between Austin and Bret Hart being the inaugural inductee.

During an autograph signing event with American Icon Autographs, Austin was directly questioned about the significance of this honor.

“Yes and no. I men’s, it was a hell of a match and we knew it at the time, I think it was good that it was in Chicago because Chicago is kind of a stronghold for me but it would’ve worked anywhere with the fact that it happened with Bret The Hitman Hart. There’s a couple behind-the-scenes stories that I don’t want to talk about but it was a hell of a match and it’s cool for people to still remember it damn near 30 years later. Yeah, it means something to me because if it wasn’t for the fans, I wouldn’t be sitting here. So, the fact that match is relevant and it’s going into 2025 Hall Of Fame for matches and it’s the first match to be inducted, cool.”

Austin was asked to reflect on his extensive career and identify a match he wished had been recorded. He recounted a particularly memorable encounter with Ricky Steamboat at the Los Angeles Forum, a thirty-minute contest he described as a “barn burner,” lamenting its absence from any archival footage. Austin also expressed fondness for his WrestleMania 17 match against The Rock in Houston’s Astrodome, praising the collective energy of the event and the high caliber of performances from all involved. He added that his match with Owen Hart, though tragically cut short by a severe accident, was also progressing exceptionally well. Austin acknowledged the variability of his career, admitting that there were instances where his performances fell short of expectations.

Austin’s reflections highlighted the ephemeral nature of live wrestling, particularly house shows that lacked the recording infrastructure of televised events. He stressed the collaborative aspect of successful WrestleMania events, emphasizing how a strong undercard contributed to the overall atmosphere and allowed the main event to resonate more deeply. Austin’s honesty about both his triumphs and failures provided a candid glimpse into the complexities of a professional wrestling career.

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 has been announced, featuring several prominent figures. Triple H, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, and The Natural Disasters are all set to be inducted.

WWE Letting It Rip This Week With AEW References on TV

0

WWE may have spent decades acting like they’re the only wrestling game in town, but that’s not the case anymore. Here’s five times WWE brought up their rivals in AEW over the past week:

CM Punk Still Works With Children

On the March 24, edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk didn’t hold back on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Taking aim at the pair, he noted that “The more things change, the more they stay the same. I work with children.” This was a nod to Punk declaring that he worked with “f***ing children” during his infamous All Out 2022 post-show rant.

Ricky Saints Can’t Go Back

On the March 25, edition of WWE NXT, Shawn Spears confronted Ricky Saints, a meeting of two AEW alum. Spears even alluded to Saints ‘burning bridges’ and being unable to go back if things in NXT don’t work out. Saints’ final year with AEW saw him go unused and the former FTW Champion was hardly quiet with his frustration at the time.

Drew McIntyre Gets ‘Real Glass’ in his Eye

After being attacked by Damian Priest on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre took to X to claim he’d got “real glass” in his eye. This was a clear nod to Jack Perry’s comment about using real glass at AEW All In: London 2023. This comment, itself referencing CM Punk opposing the use of real glass on Collision, would spark the backstage fight that’d result in Punk being terminated from AEW.

Cody Rhodes Gets Booed

Opening Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes looked to disarm John Cena by bringing up topics that Cena could use to ‘cook’ him. Along the way, Rhodes brought up being booed in a company he created, an obvious nod to the often-frosty reception he received in AEW despite being a babyface.

Cena’s Billion-Dollar Jibe

John Cena didn’t arrive to Raw to ‘cook’ Cody Rhodes but rather to ‘bury’ the Undisputed WWE Champion. In his fiery retort, Cena declared that “I make empires for billionaires,” while Rhodes just “steals money from their kids.” This was a reference to both Shad and Tony Khan, the latter being the AEW President.

AEW, the self-proclaimed “challenger brand”, has never shied away from taking shots at WWE, but now it’s the industry leader that has plenty to say. Stay tuned to SEScoops to see what AEW’s roster will have to say about all these references made.

Kelly Kelly Dreams of WWE Return & HOF Induction: ‘I Want My Kids to See Me Wrestle’

0

Kelly Kelly hasn’t competed in years but that could soon be about to change. On Byron Scott’s Fast Break podcast, the former WWE Divas Champion shared her goals in the wrestling business.

“My dream is for my kids to see me wrestle. Hopefully, I get in the Hall of Fame one day.”

Kelly still attends WWE events, where she hopes “maybe they’ll call me for another Rumble.” While she’s not sure what’s to come, adding “who knows,” the former Superstar made clear that “I would definitely come back for that.”

Kelly shared in March 2023 that she and her husband Joe were expecting their first child, and revealed that it’d be twins the following month. On September 10, the couple welcomed their son Jaxon Matthew and their daughter Brooklyn Marie into the world.

Kelly’s time with WWE came to an end in 2012 with her final match coming at an August live event with a win over Natalya. Since then, however, Kelly has made several returns to the ring including in three Women’s Royal Rumble matches. Her most recent match came in the 2022 Women’s Rumble, won by Ronda Rousey.

A return to the ring would see Kelly join an elite cast of wrestling moms, a list that includes Rousey, Mickie James, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and others. Whether Kelly competes in the ring again or not remains to be seen but don’t count out the first-ever female 24/7 Champion.

‘Totally Dead’ – Scott Steiner Says Lingering Injury Derailed WWE Run

Scott Steiner’s 2002 return to WWE should have been a career highlight for Big Poppa Pump after a highly successful run as part of WCW. Instead, it became a chapter marred by health issues that robbed fans—and Steiner himself—of seeing him at full strength. In a reflective interview on Casual Conversations, the former WCW champion revealed the painful truth about that run.

“I wish I could have been healthy. My foot was totally paralyzed. Even today, it’s still dead.”

The injury came before his highly anticipated comeback and plagued his performances throughout his feud with Triple H. A series of underwhelming title matches on pay-per-view with the Game put an end to any main-event plans WWE may have had for Steiner.

“I can’t even watch myself walk to the ring during that time. It’s just messed up.”

Steiner’s return to WWE would come at Survivor Series 2002 inside Madison Square Garden, WWE’s most iconic venue. Despite returning inside hallowed ground and receiving a thunderous ovation from the fans in the Big Apple, Steiner views the moment as bittersweet.

“Being in the Garden was cool… the ovation I got was awesome. But I wasn’t myself.”

Steiner would undergo surgery later to stabilize the condition, but by this point, the damage had already been done. The injury not only affected his movement in his day-to-day activities but also his ability to perform at the level fans expected from the wrestling legend. Despite this, Scott chooses not to dwell on regret.

“Everybody’s clawing to be at the top. And I got there—I just wish I could’ve done it healthy.”

Steiner’s honest demonstrates how wrestling injuries aren’t always visible to fans and may not play out in the ring. Despite being known for his notable physique and being a larger-than-life persona, Steiner, just like any wrestler, was vulnerable to struggles outside of the ring.

Scott Steiner Says Bron Breakker Inspired Son’s WWE Dream

Scott Steiner hasn’t wrestled in years but the Steiner legacy in pro wrestling is far from over. In a revealing interview on Casual Conversations, Scott Steiner opened up about the next generation of his wrestling family, including WWE’s Bron Breakker and his own son, Brock, who may be eyeing the ring himself.

“The success of Bron influenced my boy Brock to think about doing it. When I was a wrestler, it was the funnest time I ever had in my life. Of course, he sees that.”

Brock Steiner currently plays football at Virginia Tech and has already signed an NIL deal, showcasing both his athletic ability and rising profile. Ever the proud father, Steiner believes his son has the skills to succeed in football and the squared circle.

“He’s young enough to do both. He had some highlights last year that got good coverage. He’s got time.”

Steiner already has his son and his nephew under contracts with WWE but could more be following suit. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022, won’t count the idea out.

“My boy Brandon loves basketball, so I don’t know about him. But never say never.”

The idea of a next-generation Steiner Brothers—this time as cousins—adds an intriguing wrinkle to the future of WWE and its tag-team division. While Brock is still developing as a multi-sport athlete and Bron is seeing success as a singles Superstar, the family tree might just be sprouting a new tag team.

Scott Steiner Explains Why His ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Transformation Was Necessary

When Scott Steiner transformed into “Big Poppa Pump” in the late 1990s, it wasn’t just a gimmick, it was a matter of career survival. Sitting own with Casual Conversations, the wrestling legend pulled back the curtain on what led him to become one of the most unforgettable characters in wrestling history.

“I knew I had to be different from Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. They were the cool guys in the NWO, and Hogan had his thing too. I had to go the other way.”

The result was a bombastic character full of arrogance, intensity, and unpredictability. Steiner packed on a notable amount of muscle and cut his hair short in addition to bleaching it. From the chainmail headdress to his infamous “holler if you hear me” catchphrase, Steiner’s reinvention was both theatrical and authentic.

“I just kept throwing stuff against the wall to see what would work. And I had the most fun of anyone.”

His promos, many of which went viral in the early 2000s, were completely unscripted—a rarity in today’s wrestling world. This led to some infamous moments including taking aim at Ric Flair multiple times on the mic.

“People can tell when you’re being authentic,” he said. “I wasn’t memorizing lines. I was entertaining myself.”

Steiner’s ability to stand out during WCW’s ultra-competitive main event era helped him carve a permanent place in wrestling history. Big Poppa Pump wasn’t just an act for the former WCW World Champion, it was an attitude, built on years of frustration, creative freedom, and a whole lot of confidence.

Scott Steiner Wants Residuals for Creating the Frankensteiner

Scott Steiner wants fans—and announcers—to remember the truth: the Frankensteiner was his creation, and it’s not to be confused with a generic hurricanrana. In a new interview on Casual Conversations, the former WCW and WWE star set the record straight on one of wrestling’s most iconic moves.

“I had thought of the move when I was in Memphis. But I knew enough not to use it on Memphis TV… I waited until I was on national TV.”

Steiner’s reasoning for keeping the move a secret? He didn’t want someone from WWE or the NWA to steal it before he got the spotlight. Now, Steiner’s nephew Bron Breakker can be found using the move each week on WWE Monday Night Raw.

“He steals all my Frankenstein suplexes… he still owes me all the residuals for copyright thievery.”

Steiner’s tone was playful, and he doesn’t actually have an issue with his nephew using his move. With that said, Steiner takes pride in his contributions to the wrestling world, incluind how Japanese fans and wrestlers still recognize the Frankensteiner as his creation.

“It’s pretty cool it’s still around,” he added. “People really liked the move. I think it’s because it was so different.”

Steiner’s days in the ring are over but with Bron continuing to use his moves, Bib Poppa Pump’s legacy lives on. With Bron riding high as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, fans can expect him to use the Frankensteiner regularly, it’s a fitting tribute—even if Uncle Scott thinks he should get paid for it.

John Cena is focuesed on dethroning WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, but what will be next for the WWE icon? Taking to Instagram, Cena shared an image of a Superstar, leaving those in the comments to believe that John is teasing a future feud. The Superstar in question? None other than another legend of the ring, Randy Orton.

The rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton is one of WWE’s most enduring and intense feuds, spanning nearly two decades. Both men emerged from WWE’s developmental system onto the main roster in 2002, but their paths to the top were vastly different. While Cena would establish himself as a face with a never-give-up attitude, Orton was the the brash, third-generation heel with a natural arrogance.

Their rivalry exploded in 2007 when Orton, as the sadistic Legend Killer, targeted Cena’s WWE Championship. Their battles that year, woul see the pair face off at SummerSlam, where Cena was victorious. The feud reignited multiple times, leading to career-defining clashes such as their Hell in a Cell match in 2009 and a high-stakes WWE Championship unification match at TLC 2013.

Cena and Orton’s careers have been deeply intertwined, often reflecting WWE’s evolving eras. Their feud has often been polarizing, with some fans viewing their repeated matches as overexposed, while others saw them as the defining clash of their generation. Whether allies or enemies, their in-ring chemistry and personal history made every encounter compelling. As Cena prepares to say goodbye from the ring for good, fans shouldn’t count out one more showdown with Orton, perhaps with the Undisputed WWE Title at stake.
