Seth Rollins Voices Concern About WWE’s Future

0

Seth Rollins, a veteran of the WWE locker room who came up during an era of a significantly more demanding live event schedule, is worried about how the reduction in WWE house shows will affect the development of future generations of Superstars.

Rollins, a member of the last generation to regularly work multiple weekly live events, believes this shift could hinder the ability of up-and-coming talent to hone their craft.

During his appearance on Outta Pocket with RGIII, Rollins addressed the growing trend of WWE recruiting college athletes through NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals and how they don’t have enough experience in the ring.

“My biggest concern, and I’ll try not to expound on this too much, but my biggest concern is the generation that is being groomed now, we are dipping our toe heavily into the NIL world,” Rollins said. “Taking a lot of college athletes who, maybe after college, there is no future for them as far as money in sports, so we offer them deals to get paid while they are in college to come and maybe be part of WWE when they are older.

There is nothing wrong with training these people from scratch, I have no problem with that, but couple that with our live event schedule. We used to do them every weekend, sometimes two shows every day on Saturdays and Sundays, there would be two running simultaneously in different towns. That’s where I learned my craft and the art of wrestling and storytelling.

“If you don’t get the repetitions to learn that, I don’t care what kind of athlete you are or how impressive your vertical leap is or how many times you can bench press 400 pounds, it’s not going to translate because you don’t know how to tell stories,” Rollins added. “You might be a hell of a performer, but ‘I need a promo. Go out there, five minutes, get it done.’”

Rollins noted the irreplaceable value of live event experience in learning the process of wrestling. He highlighted that there is no replacement for going out and working in front of fans due to the feedback that they get.

“That’s my biggest concern for our next generation,” Rollins said. “You’re plucking from a world where these guys don’t really follow wrestling or may not be fans, and then they’re not getting the experience on top of it to learn how to be part of what we do and how to tell those stories. I do have a concern that over a few generations, that might be harmful to the future of the industry.”

These changes come alongside the cancellation of the AEW Collision event originally planned for May 17 in Wichita, Kansas. Refunds for the canceled Collision and the previously scheduled May 2 Supercard of Honor in Atlantic City are available at original points of purchase.

The updated lineup continues ROH’s integration with AEW programming, positioning both events for broader exposure during major wrestling weekends.

JD McDonagh Urges Judgment Day to End Infighting After WWE Return

0

JD McDonagh has spoken out following his return to WWE on the Raw After WrestleMania 41, addressing the rising tension within The Judgment Day and calling for a truce among its members.

After months away due to injury, McDonagh reappeared last night, helping Dominik Mysterio retain the Intercontinental Championship against Penta. While his in-ring actions marked a clear show of loyalty, McDonagh’s follow-up message hinted at concern over the group’s fractured state. McDonagh posted on social media, signaling his intent to reunify the faction:

“Got here as quick as I could, guys, can we stop fighting now?!”

His comments come amid visible discord within Judgment Day. At WrestleMania 41, Mysterio pinned Finn Balor to win the Intercontinental title. Since then, Balor has highlighted the moment by changing his pinned tweet to an image of him stomping Mysterio during the match.

As tensions linger, McDonagh’s return and public call for peace suggest an attempt to stabilize the faction before further divisions escalate.

The Bella Twins Discuss Cast For Potential Total Divas Reboot

0

The Bella Twins have talked about a potential Total Divas reboot.

The reality TV show ran from 2013 to 2019 on E! network, featuring a rotating cast of female WWE stars. In a period when women were given limited time on the main WWE shows, the dedicated series gave them a chance to connect with the fans by showing more personality and is generally believed to have helped the Women’s Revolution become a thing.

The sisters talked about the possibility of bringing it back on the latest episode of The Nikki and Brie Show. Nikki Bella first mentioned that people want it back and Brie thought that she was talking about their own followers. Nikki however, noted that random people she met at WWE World have shown interest in the same:

“I meant fanatic’s that it’s WWE World. It’s all random fans and people and they all were like chanting like they wanted it, but you know, Trin said something good. She goes, ‘We’re all going through something different.’ I was like, ‘You know, we really are,’ and ‘Sex and the City’ did it. They have ‘And Just Like That,’ so ‘Total Divas,’ like we bring those vibes, but then you bring some of the newbies.”

We Are All Bringing Something Different: Nikki Bella

Brie Bella was asked which three ‘newbies’ she would want on the new iteration of Total Divas and she named Bianca Belair, Maxine Dupri and Chelsea Green as the names that would be good for the show. Nikki then talked about which ‘OGs’ she would want back if they revive the series:

“You can’t bring them all. Okay, so we first go to the original, original that are here now. You, me, Naomi and Nattie, Trin, and then I would add in Nia Jax, and then I would maybe do a secret surprise and bring in Paige. I think Paige, Nia Jax, you, me, Nattie and Trin, we all are bringing something different to the table right now.”

Apart from this, the Bella Twins also talked about Nikki Bella sliding into Stone Cold Steve Austin’s DMs and Channing Tatum being the total package.

Dave Bautista Honored as Deputy Sheriff in Tampa, Florida

0

Dave Bautista, best known to WWE fans as Batista, was officially named an honorary deputy by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida on April 19, 2025.

“Honorary Deputy Sheriff of Hillsborough County, Florida… I didn’t see that one coming either.”

The ceremony, attended by Sheriff Chad Chronister and WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil, recognized Bautista’s positive impact on the Tampa area, a city he has called home for over 20 years.

Bautista expressed gratitude for the unexpected honor, sharing that Tampa has always held a special place in his heart. He thanked both Chronister and O’Neil for their continued support and community work.

The former WWE Champion, who has also gained acclaim in Hollywood, continues to show strong ties to the region and remains actively involved in local initiatives.

CM Punk Shares Heartfelt Message Following WrestleMania

0

Following his highly emotional and hard-fought main event appearance at WrestleMania 41, CM Punk took to Instagram with a heartfelt message reflecting on his journey to the top.

In his post, Punk expressed deep gratitude for those who supported him through ups and downs, acknowledging that his path has been anything but straight.

“I didn’t get here alone,” Punk wrote. “I’ve been lifted up and comforted in bad times by people, family, who have always believed in me.” He went on to describe his career as filled with both mistakes and growth, lessons learned, and moments of humility.

Punk emphasized the value of perseverance and the belief that you ultimately receive what you give:

“Maybe not instantly. Maybe not tomorrow. But never say never.” His message, filled with sincerity and appreciation, concluded with what many fans interpreted as a possible farewell: “If it was the last one, it may very well have been the best one.”

The statement arrives just days after Punk headlined WrestleMania for the first time—an accomplishment long considered unfinished business in his storied career.

Beneath Becky And Charlotte? Bayley Gets Honest About Inferior Treatment To Wrestling Peers

0

Bayley has admitted to feeling underappreciated by both fans and the WWE management despite working hard for years.

The debate about the former Champion’s WWE spot has picked up after she was pulled from her WrestleMania 41 match last minute to make room for a returning Becky Lynch. While Triple H has assured people that she would be fine, there are many who have questioned the company’s treatment of the wrestling veteran as compared to the other Horsewomen remaining on the roster.

The WWE star opened up about her current spot in wrestling during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. She was asked about some fans still not giving her the respect she deserves and Bayley noted that she has stopped reading online chatter about her long ago. She admitted, however, that it still gets to her sometimes. While the wrestling veteran tries to take the criticism in a positive light and try to prove people wrong, the doubts definitely creep up to her at times:

“But there’s also a part of me that feels and agrees with them. I was just telling Lyra this the other day. We’ve been doing a lot of bonding. I don’t feel that I’m at a level of Charlotte or a Becky. We came up together and I wrestled Charlotte in her first match ever, I was signed to WWE before Becky. So to me, they’re up here, and I’m just not there yet. Maybe that’s kind of where people base it off, or where they judge it, or whatever.”

What Do I Need To Do?: Bayley

Bayley noted that she tries to get her feedback from the right people. She named Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd as talents she gets feedback and opinions from to try and get better. Despite her efforts, however, the former Women’s Champion has failed to unlock that next level like the peers of her generation.

Some of the blame for this lies with the WWE officials as well, since the female star does not get the same spotlight as other names. One example of it is being left out of the WrestleMania XL kickoff press event despite winning the Royal Rumble and having one of the best stories going into the show with IYO SKY.

When asked about it, Bayley noted that she has a good relationship with the top WWE officials, such as Bruce Prichard and Triple H. Though, while she hears good things about her, she is never told what she needs to do to be treated better:

“I don’t get on the press conference. I don’t get on the posters. I don’t get to do the talk shows. I don’t know what else to do, and it’s not like [there’s an issue], there’s no heat backstage or anything like that. Hunter and I have a really good relationship. Bruce and I have a really good relationship, all the TR, I have such a good relationship with them, and I’ve always been professional.

Even when I’ve gone to other shows to support my friends, we’ve had those conversations of like, the do’s and the don’ts, and that was a little too much. We’ve had those conversations, so I think we’re at a real respect level.

Hunter has gone on a press conference being like, Bayley’s this, Bayley’s this, she’s everything that you could possibly want out of a superstar, which I appreciate. But it’s like alright, well what do I need to do to get me there?”

Apart from this, Bayley also revealed the amount of time she has left on her current deal and discussed potentially retiring from the business afterward. You can check out her remarks on the matter here.

Bayley Reveals Time Left On WWE Contract After WrestleMania Snub

0

Bayley has revealed how much time she has left in her WWE contract.

Fans have been unhappy with the company for pulling the former Women’s champion out of her WrestleMania 41 tag team championship match at the last minute. The change was made to allow the returning Becky Lynch to take her spot. People have been criticizing this move, saying that Bayley is not respected by the officials as much as she deserves.

The wrestling veteran recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet where she got candid about her current spot in the company. During the interview, Bayley also revealed how much time she has left on her current deal:

“I have so many other things I want to make it into. I have a year and a half left on this current contract, so we’ll see what happens then.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Bayley discussed how women’s careers used to be much shorter when she was younger and originally, she thought that she’d be retired by 35. Now that she has reached the age, she sees women of her generation still doing great things which has changed her mindset.

Though Bayley also admitted that she has done most of what she could do in WWE. With the new wave of talent coming in, the WWE legend believes that she would leave the company in good hands if she decides to quit the business in a couple years.

Kenny Omega Reacts To John Cena’s 17th World Title Win

0

Kenny Omega believes John Cena’s WWE title run could be a good thing if handled correctly.

The Cenation Leader made history, winning his 17th World title at WrestleMania 41. John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes for the belt in the main event of the show, with some help from Travis Scott.

The Cleaner was asked about this title change during his latest Twitch stream. Kenny Omega noted that he hasn’t seen the match yet, but claimed that he is a huge fan of John Cena:

“I didn’t see it. I couldn’t see it. I couldn’t see it. [smiles] I’m a huge Cena fan. To me, I don’t see it as a bad thing if it’s done correctly. I don’t know these things,”

John Cena appeared on this week’s episode of Raw to talk his historic win. The new WWE Champion told the crowd that he deserved an apology from them, before being taken out by Randy Orton with an RKO.

Cody Rhodes on the other hand had refused to talk after his title loss last night. He missed the Monday night show as well and it’s unknown when he will return to TV.

WWE also used this title change as an opportunity to make some changes to their championship lineup. They quietly retired a title and surprisingly, also went back on recognizing Cody as a former champion. You can check out more about it here.

‘About Time’ – Goldberg Teases Imminent WWE Return

0

Bill Goldberg could be on his way back to WWE programming very soon judging from a post by the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Taking to X, Goldberg shared footage of his return to WWE in late 2016 after over a dozen years away. Goldberg added that his return to WWE is nearing as it’s “about time to replicate this.”

Goldberg shared in 2024 that his retirement match will come in 2025, though he stopped short of giving an exact date, location, or opponent for his in-ring farewell. Many fans have predicted that GUNTHER will be Goldberg’s last opponent following a segment at the WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event last October.

Goldberg has been working hard to ensure his body delivers a match fitting his retirement from the ring. On social media, the WWE Hall of Famer has shared photos from his workouts and has revealed he has undergone stem cell therapy to deal with past injuries. Whatever comes, fans can expect quite the send off for the wrestling icon.

WWE Quietly Retires World Title After WrestleMania 41

0

WWE has quietly retired a world title after WrestleMania 41.

When Cody Rhodes originally defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, the company recognized him as the Undisputed Champion, including both the Universal title and the WWE title in his list of accolades.

This came after Roman Reigns won the Universal title from Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam 2020 and became a double champion by defeating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38.

The company has now changed the records, however. Not only have they officially retired the Universal title on their website, but altered the records to recognize the Tribal Chief as the last title holder instead of The American Nightmare:

The change seems to be something that has been made very recently, as both Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and John Cena on tonight’s Raw were still introduced as the Undisputed WWE champion.

The Universal title belt was introduced by Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley back in 2016, when the WWE title went to SmackDown in the reintroduced brand split.

The title switched brands in 2019 with SmackDown star Bray Wyatt winning the belt. The then-WWE champion Brock Lesnar then quit SmackDown for the Raw brand, bringing his championship over.

Officials reintroduced a new version of the World Heavyweight Championship for Raw in 2023 after the then Undisputed Champion Reigns was drafted to SmackDown, making him exclusive to the brand.

James Gunn Reacts to John Cena’s Historic 17th WWE World Title Win

0

John Cena is now a 17-time WWE World Champion, fulfilling a portion of his promise to ruin pro wrestling for everyone. While Cena plans on ruining things for the fans, director James Gunn is pleased with what he’s seen.

Taking to X, Gunn backed Cena following his WrestleMania 41 victory over Cody Rhodes.

Gunn and Cena are close allies, with John playing Christopher ‘Peacemaker’ Smith in Gunn’s 2021 The Suicide Squad movie. Cena reprised the role for the Peacemaker series on MAX, delivering more of the hilarious though intense character who first appeared in DC Comics. Peacemaker’s second season will premiere this August, and like the first season will feature eight episodes.

John Cena was on this week’s Raw where a future title feud with long-time rival Randy Orton was teased. Many predict that their match, perhaps the last time the the pair will share the ring, will come at Backlash in Orton’s native St. Louis. While a match between the two hasn’t been announced, it’s clear who Gunn will be backing.

Ring Announcer Alicia Taylor Explains Raw After WrestleMania Absence

0

Alicia Taylor has explained her absence from tonight’s Raw after WrestleMania.

SmackDown ring announcer Mark Shunock filled in for the female star on tonight’s eventful episode of the Red Branded Show. This came after Taylor called both nights of WrestleMania 41 over the weekend.

The female broadcaster provided the reason for her absence in a late Monday post on X. She revealed that she’s been given a night off for her voice after her performance at the Show of Shows:

“WOW. I’m going to decompress and process #WrestleMania on this flight home. Wanted to quickly say THANK YOU. I see + appreciate all of the LOVE. My voice gets a night off! Welcome our SD ring announcer @MarkShunock  tonight on #MondayNightRAW.”

While Alicia Taylor missed the Monday night show this week, the episode also featured a number of returns. This included Sami Zayn returning to TV to congratulate Jey Uso on his World Title victory over Gunther.

We also saw JD McDonagh making his comeback after suffering an injury in January. He helped Dominik Mysterio retain his newly won Intercontinental Championship over Penta.

The most exciting return of the night however, was of Rusev. The star known as Miro in AEW destroyed the Alpha Academy in his return, quickly reestablishing himself as a monster after his highly anticipated appearance.

‘The Right Call’ – Scott D’Amore Backs Unsatisfactory WrestleMania Main Event

0

John Cena captured his 17th WWE World Championship at WrestleMania, though some were left feeling underwhelmed by his victory over Cody Rhodes. After weeks of fiery promos between the two, Cena got the win in a relatively standard match, one without The Rock appearing.

Many feel that the match was unsatisfactory, both as a WrestleMania main event and as the starting point for John’s 17th reign on top. On the Ariel Helwani Show, however, Scott D’Amore argued that being unsatisifed with the man who has vowed to ruin wrestling makes a lot of sense.

“You want that WrestleMania main event to be 5 star and you want it to leave you satisfied. This was purposely an ending that leaves you unsatisfied. That sometimes it’s the right call.”

D’Amore’s comments reflect a debate many have had over the match, whether WWE chose to deliver a match that they knew fans would not be satisifed with. While some believe this makes sense for Cena’s character, others have argued that every wrestler should aim to deliver a great match for fans, even if their character loathes the audience.

On Raw, Cena was attacked by Randy Orton, teasing a title match between the two legendary rivals. As for what kind of match fans get from the pair, that remains to be seen, and will be a test of whether WWE is intentionally giving bad matches, or if WrestleMania was a one-off mistake.

WWE Update On Bayley’s Health After Missing WrestleMania 41

0

Bayley will be out of action for some time.

The former Women’s Champion was originally supposed to team up with Lyra Valkyria to challenge for the women’s tag titles at WrestleMania 41. She was pulled from the match over the weekend, however, after a backstage attack.

A returning Becky Lynch ended up replacing Bayley in the match, and the two female stars were able to defeat Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez to become the new champions.

Michael Cole provided an update on the kayfabe injury of the female star during this week’s episode of Raw. He noted that she has a partial shoulder dislocation and she will be out for a bit of time:

“Speaking of Bayley, injury update: she has a partial shoulder dislocation with an anterior labral tear. Bayley will be out for a bit of time now.”

The duo of Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria went on to defend their newly won titles in a rematch against Morgan & Rodriguez in the first match of Raw After WrestleMania. The duo ended up losing the championship in their first title defence, after which Becky turned heel and attacked her partner.

Valkyria still holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, so it appears that we’ll see Lynch going after the title following her heel turn tonight.

The mystery of Bayley’s absence continues however, with the update suggesting that she will be kept off TV for a while to sell the attack.

Watch: What Happened With Seth Rollins Once Raw After WrestleMania Went Off Air

0

Seth Rollins soaked in the moment once the explosive episode of WWE Raw after WrestleMania 41 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada went off air.

The show lived up to the expectations with multiple big returns and some surprise developments. First, we saw the return of JD McDonagh, who helped Dominik Mysterio retain his IC title. Sami Zayn also made his return to WWE programming, congratulating Jey Uso on his world title victory at Mania.

The biggest return of the night, however, was of Rusev. The former AEW star laid out the Alpha Academy. Later it was revealed that the former US Champion has signed a new long-term contract with WWE, along with his wife Lana.

What Happened After Raw

Seth Rollins accompanied by Paul Heyman was rightfully in the last segment of the show after winning the WrestleMania 41 Night 1 main event. He took a mic and started talking, but CM Punk was out before the Visionary could say much.

Punk and Rollins brawled until Roman Reigns’ music hit and the Tribal Chief went right after his former Shield brother. Reigns took out Heyman with a superman punch and was looking to do more damage until a hooded figure showed up to deliver a massive spear to Roman.

The figure revealed himself to be none other than Bron Breakker. The former IC Champion then took out CM Punk, confirming his alliance with Rollins and Heyman. This new trio then stood tall in the ring as the show went off air.

The new faction enjoyed the moment and took their time leaving the ring after the broadcast went off air. They slowly made their way up to the ramp, as Punk and Reigns remained at ringside, licking their wounds.

Rusev Is ‘Back Where He Belongs’ After WWE Return

0

On the post-WrestleMania 41 edition of WWE Raw, Rusev made his return to WWE, laying waste to Alpha Academy in the process. Speaking backstage after his dominating appearance, Rusev shared his first comments as a WWE Superstar once more.

“It’s been too long, five long years. But finally Rusev is back where he belongs. And this time, I will take what’s rightfully mine. Everything.”

Rusev’s return comes after he was among those cut by WWE in April 2020, explained by WWE at the time as due to budget cuts. Rusev would join AEW that same year as Miro and despite a strong start would not be used at all for the final year of his tenure.

Rusev was let-go from AEW in early 2025 and has now found his way back to WWE. Questions remain as to whether his wife Lana (real name CJ Perry) will join him on-screen. Perry has reportedly signed a Legends Deal with WWE, allowing her likeness to be used for merchandise and promotional material. As for now, Rusev is back and is ready to crush anyone who stands in his way.

Bron Breakker Aligns With Seth Rollins & Paul Heyman on Raw

0

Bron Breakker has revealed his next move in WWE following his Intercontinental title loss at WrestleMania 41. Now, the second-generation Superstar has confirmed that he is the newest Paul Heyman Guy.

In the closing moments of the post-WrestleMania Raw, Seth Rollins and Heyman made an appearance but were interrupted by Punk. The Best in the World went after Rollins and teased getting physical with Heyman before Seth got the better of him. Roman Reigns was out next and he attacked Rollins and was poised to attack Paul. Breakker would emerge to spear the OTC twice with the second time going through the barricade.

On the Pat McAfee Show earlier in the day, Heyman had teased that Rollins may not have been his only new affiliate. Now, fans know that the WWE Hall of Famer was talking about Bron Breakker. It remains to be seen whether thisis the entirity of Heyman’s new clients, or if somebody else is waiting in the wings as a Paul Heyman Guy to be.

Details on Rusev’s WWE Contract, Lana Signs Legends Deal

0

Miroslav “Miro” Barnyashev and CJ Perry have officially returned to WWE in newly signed deals, according to Rosy Cordero of Deadline. Rusev made a surprise to WWE on Monday’s Raw After WrestleMania from Last Vegas.

“Rusev is back to crush the WWE and become World Champion,” Perry told Deadline. “We have been cooking this up from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left, and with the help of Paradigm, we were able to make this a reality! Machka Crush.”

Rusev in WWE

Barnyashev, known to WWE fans as Rusev, debuted with the company in 2014. He quickly rose to prominence as an undefeated powerhouse alongside Perry, who portrayed his manager Lana. Over the years, Rusev captured the United States Championship three times and competed in high-profile matches against stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. His mix of in-ring dominance and comedic flair made him a standout personality. He was released from WWE in April 2020 during pandemic-related roster cuts.

AEW and WWE Return

Following his WWE exit, Barnyashev joined AEW under the name Miro in 2020. He went on to win the AEW TNT Championship in May 2021 and held the title for 140 days while portraying “The Redeemer.” His final AEW appearance aired in December 2023, and he officially departed in February 2025. He now returns to WWE on a two-year contract.

Lana Legend

Perry, who debuted in WWE in 2013, became a central figure in Rusev’s early career and later transitioned into in-ring competition, participating in multiple prominent storylines. She was released in 2021 and rejoined Barnyashev in AEW in 2023 before exiting the promotion in 2024. Perry has returned to WWE under a Legends Deal signed earlier this month.

Outside WWE

Outside the ring, Barnyashev and Perry continue building their presence in Hollywood. They are set to appear in the upcoming action comedy Guns Up starring Kevin James, with Barnyashev previously guest-starring on East New York.

JD McDonagh Returns On Raw, Costs Penta in Title Match

0

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio has his first title defense under his belt, thanks to the returning JD McDonagh. On the post-WrestleMania 41 edition of Raw, Mysterio put the gold on the line against Penta. Just as it appeared that Penta had the match won, McDonagh appeared and shoved him off the top rope. Not long after, Mysterio got the win, handing Penta his first singles loss in WWE.

McDonagh had been out of action since January after a scary spot during an episode of Raw. The Irish Ace did a dive to the outside that saw him collide with the announce table and his head whip backwards. Though many feated about a neck injury, McDonagh suffered broken ribs due to the incident.

JD’s absence had played into Dominik and Finn Balor’s tensions as Finn refused to listen to Dom’s suggestion about bringing in a replacement. Now, McDonagh is back and is doing all he can to help his allies.

Paul Heyman on His WrestleMania Betrayals: Punk Put Me in ‘Impossible’ Position, Reigns Turned on Me

0

Paul Heyman has broken his silence on his shocking WrestleMania betrayals. Appearing on the post-WrestleMania Pat McAfee Show (April 21, 2025), Heyman emotionally defended his decision to aid Seth Rollins in defeating both Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the WrestleMania 41 main event. While many fans saw Heyman’s actions as a stunning act of disloyalty, he framed the moment as the culmination of deep personal betrayal—by both Punk and Reigns.

“I was loyal to CM Punk. I brought him back after the Hell in a Cell. I gave him a spotlight. I gave him a chance to redeem himself with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns—and he puts me in this impossible, impossible, emotional, compromising position. That was an absolute no-win. It was a must-lose with my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. And that’s my best friend?”

Heyman claims he honored every promise to Punk, even escorting him to the ring at WrestleMania. But when confronted by the crushing weight of Reigns’ rejection:

“Let’s be clear about this—I didn’t betray Roman Reigns. What did I do? Did I put my hands on Roman Reigns on Monday night and shove him down to the canvas in front of millions watching at home? I didn’t touch Roman Reigns. What did I do? I got shoved down to the canvas. I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns…”

“Roman Reigns uses everyone in his sight—squeezes the juice out of the fruit until it’s not useful anymore, and then discards them. Like he did to me. Like he did to others before me. And I know that now. Seth Rollins knows that too…”

“I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief”—Heyman snapped. “Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did…”

In classic Heyman fashion, he laced scathing barbs with philosophical insight:

“You ask me how I’m disloyal? Nobody is making the case against me. I am! Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did. And you? You did the same thing to the guy who gave you everything. So don’t come at me like I’m the traitor.”
