Eddie Guerrero’s Daughter Sherilyn Begins Training at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling

0

Sherilyn Guerrero, the 30-year-old daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, has officially begun her professional wrestling journey at Reality of Wrestling (ROW( in Texas City, Texas.

ROW made it official on October 30, 2025, marking another chapter in one of wrestling’s most storied family legacies.

“The daughter of the legendary Eddie Guerrero now begins her own journey into the world of professional wrestling.” Booker T himself added, “Let’s get to work! Welcome to the school.”

Reality of Wrestling has emerged as a premier destination for aspiring wrestlers, recently earning designation as an official WWE ID (Independent Development) school in October 2024. The facility has produced numerous successful graduates including current WWE star Roxanne Perez, The Usos, and AEW talents Sammy Guevara and Bryan Keith.

Sherilyn becomes the third of Eddie Guerrero’s daughters to pursue wrestling. Her older sister Shaul previously competed in WWE’s developmental territory as Raquel Diaz, capturing the FCW Divas Championship, while half-sister Kaylie has also expressed intentions to carry on the family legacy.

The Guerrero wrestling dynasty spans four generations, beginning with patriarch Gory Guerrero and continuing through his sons Eddie, Chavo Sr., Mando, and Hector. Eddie Guerrero, who passed away in 2005 at age 38, remains one of the most influential and beloved figures in wrestling history, known as “Latino Heat” during his legendary career.

Logan Paul Reacts to Federal Judge Dismissing CryptoZoo Lawsuit

0

A federal judge has ended Logan Paul’s latest legal saga, officially dismissing the class action lawsuit tied to his CryptoZoo NFT project.

The class action, brought by investors who claimed Paul and his team had misled users and “rug-pulled” the ambitious CryptoZoo game in 2021, was first thrown out in August. This week, SEScoops can confirm the dismissal was reaffirmed by a district judge, bringing the case to a close. On Thursday, he took a victory lap on social media.

The CryptoZoo project promised fans the ability to breed and trade “virtual animals” for profit, but the concept failed to deliver, leading to accusations of fraud. Plaintiffs struggled to connect Logan Paul directly to their financial losses, which both a magistrate and district judge agreed was grounds for dismissal.

Paul’s attorney, Jeff Neiman, praised the outcome to TMZ: “The district judge reaffirmed that ruling, holding once again that no reasonable juror could find Logan’s statements misleading or fraudulent.”

Logan Paul received word of the lawsuit’s dismissal on his wedding day, offering some unexpected honeymoon peace as he celebrated his marriage to Nina Agdal in Lake Como this August.

Paul remains committed to WWE, having retired from boxing to focus on his wrestling career, and although he’s currently absent from television following his high-profile match at Clash in Paris, he is waiting for his next call from Triple H and is expected to remain with WWE for the foreseeable future.

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

0

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal announced he has undergone successful knee surgery to address lingering mobility issues that have impacted his physical condition in recent years. The procedure involved removing two loose bodies from his knee joint and trimming his meniscus, targeting chronic pain and joint instability that had plagued the veteran performer.

Mahal, whose real name is Raj Dhesi, shared the update directly with fans through his official Instagram account, posting video documentation of the procedure and his first day of rehabilitation.

The surgery comes years after Mahal’s memorable 2017 WWE Championship reign, which established him as a prominent international wrestling ambassador. Now competing outside of WWE, Mahal remains focused on recovery and long-term health. While he has not indicated whether an in-ring return is planned, the successful operation marks a positive step in his rehabilitation journey.

Logan Paul Called Out by Michael Chandler for Summerslam 2026

0

Logan Paul is someone who gets frequently called out and the brash influencer turned WWE performer has a former UFC title challenger wanting to lock up with him inside the WWE ring. That was expressed by Michael Chandler who recently appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet to cover several subjects.

Touching on his UFC specific aspirations, the former multi-time Bellator MMA champion was discussing his desire to get on that UFC White House card next year. Chandler has often mentioned wanting that big pay day fight with Conor McGregor as far as who his desired opponent for the June 2026 tentpole event would be. But ‘Iron’ Michael has also kept things open to fight whoever, as he feels like he can electrify the crowd in a show that imparts a sense of partisan spirit for an event aligned with celebrating American independence.

After Chandler touched upon that desire though, Van Vliet mentioned that maybe WWE will be the next move after that White House clash for the MMA star. CVV broke down how Chandler could definitely succeed in WWE based on his look, mic skills, and athletic attributes. This comment came after an earlier portion of the interview which was centred on Michael Chandler’s passion for WWE as a kid and how his love for pro wrestlign is higher now than it ever has been.

Responding to Van Vliet’s idea that perhaps a pivot to some WWE action could possibly be in the cards for post-June 2026, Chandler said,

Yeah, when’s Wrestlemania?…Oh, that’s right. So we can’t do Wrestlemania, but when is [SummerSlam]… I knew there’s one in August… Where’s that at?… Minneapolis. Okay, let’s do Minneapolis in August.”

“Me versus Logan Paul… Me versus Logan Paul [laughs]…. That’s where we’ll do it. That’s where we’ll start it. No, I mean, yeah, could be awesome. We’ll see.”

“We got a lot of talks to happen between now and then. Obviously, they know I’m interested. I believe they’re interested. So, We’ll see where we’re at.

Logan Paul addresses current WWE situation after a dormant period

Logan Paul has cleared up some things recently as a certain crop of pro wrestling fans were unsure what ‘The Maverick’ was up to as he has not been on WWE programming for multiple weeks. Paul’s last match, as of this writing, came at Clash in Paris as he took a loss to seventeen time world champion John Cena.

A recent vlog posted to his YouTube channel illuminated some details regarding what Paul is up to and the former influencer boxer has mentioned how his effort is focused on being in WWE. His co-host Mike Majlak got in a bit of a playful poke that Paul barely does anything in WWE though and Logan Paul responded by stating that he is simply waiting for a call from Triple H to get the greeenlight regarding what the next moves are.

The partnership was revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2025, and was facilitated by IMG, according to a Playmobil statement. Bahri Kurter, CEO (Vorstand) of Playmobil, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership:

Ricky Saints Reveals The One Thing That Will Make Him Retire

0

WWE NXT Champion Ricky Saints has had a fast rise in WWE, and he has a clear message for anyone who thinks he’s satisfied: he’s not comfortable, and he’s glad. In a recent interview, Saints reflected on his rapid success and why he believes getting comfortable is the first step toward the end of a career.

Speaking on “Busted Open Radio,” Saints was asked about his journey to the top of the brand, which saw him win both the North American and NXT Championships within his first year.

“I think the day that I’m comfortable is the day I should retire. So, no, I’m not comfortable, and I’m glad. But I am happy. Everything has been good. Everything has been like, in a way, everything I had been… not looking for, but wanting fulfillment and the creativity, expressing that for a year. I’m getting that.”

At No Mercy on September 27, Saints defeated Oba Femi to win the NXT Championship. Saints retained the NXT Championship this past Saturday at NXT Halloween Havoc, defeating Trick Williams in the main event.

“I can’t ask for anything better, especially in the situation, if you really think about it. Within eight months, I was already North American Champion, and now I’m the NXT Champion. That’s wild, but I’m not surprised.”

WWE Warned Against Making CM Punk Or Jey Uso The Next World Champion

0

As WWE prepares to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event, two prominent wrestling veterans are questioning the creative decision to put the title on either of the contenders. On a recent edition of “Busted Open Radio,” WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray and Nic Nemeth both argued that CM Punk and Jey Uso are already so popular with the audience that they don’t need the championship right now, and that putting the belt on either man would be the wrong move.

Nic Nemeth, a multi-time world champion himself, explained that both men have achieved a rare level of stardom where the gold is no longer necessary to define their success.

“I don’t think either one of those guys are gonna have it. I don’t know. Punk doesn’t need it. Jey doesn’t need it. But to have it, cool. There’s nothing. It’s great… But to be so beloved by a crowd one way or another, to not need it, is the greatest attribute in pro wrestling history. That’s why I really wanted somebody else, only because they don’t need it. They’ve transcended being a world champ… The reason I keep agreeing with you on there not being a finish or a weird one is because the two people fighting for it are above world champion.”

Bully Ray echoed that sentiment, arguing that a CM Punk title win, in particular, should be reserved for a much bigger moment rather than on a Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“Pulling the trigger on Punk on a Saturday Night’s Main Event right now to become champion, that doesn’t feel right at all. Punk does not need a championship, and when the eventual day comes, night comes, that Punk wins the championship, it has to be the payoff of all payoffs, just like him finally getting to be in a main event of WrestleMania. Punk, much like a Dusty Rhodes — it’s a good place to be in — never needs a championship. When they put the championship on you, it’s just for the payoff. It’s coming right back off you because the people love you either way.”

Bully also dismissed the idea of Jey Uso winning the title, stating, “Jey Uso winning, I would look as nothing more than a placeholder right now.” Both men seemed to agree that a non-finish, perhaps involving the new version of The Vision, would be a better creative outcome for the November 1 Premium Live Event.

Tyrus: Donald Trump Will Attend John Cena’s Final WWE Match

0

Wrestling fans and political pundits alike can expect President Donald Trump at John Cena’s final match, according to ex-WWE star Tyrus. Speaking to TMZ Sports‘ Inside the Ropes, Tyrus was confident that Trump will attend.

“1000%. If he says he’s going, he’s going…That’s not by no mistake. He might even be in the finish. I definitely think if the president says he’s going to be there, he’s going to be there. He’s a fan, he loves it.”

While President Trump himself hasn’t commented, there has been growing speculation about him appearing at Saturday Night’s Main event in December. In October 2025, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE expects leading political figures to be invited and attend the show.

Trump’s connections to WWE run deep and include hosting two WrestleManias and appearing several times on WWE TV. In 2013, Trump was inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame and recently earned Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. The Game’s mother-in-law Linda McMahon also serves in Trump’s cabinet.

John Cena’s final match will be a monumental event for wrestling fans, and WWE would certainly make a bold move by featuring the President. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on John Cena’s impending final match.

Ridge Holland Shares Update After Foot Surgery Following TNA Injury

0

Former WWE Superstar Ridge Holland is recovering from foot surgery and has begun physical therapy. Holland shared the update recently on his Instagram account, providing a glimpse into his recovery process.

Holland sustained the injury earlier this month during TNA tapings. This setback comes shortly after his departure from WWE, as the company opted not to renew his contract.

Holland posted a photo with the caption, “First day of PT! #recovery #surgery.” The post indicates a positive attitude as he begins the rehabilitation process, as reported by eWrestlingNews.com.

Holland’s exit from WWE marks the end of his run with the company. He is now focused on recovering from his injury and potentially exploring future opportunities in professional wrestling once he is fully healed.

Blood and Guts Match Announced for November 12 AEW Dynamite

0

A Blood and Guts match pitting The Death Riders against a team of Kyle O’Reilly, Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong will take place on the November 12, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite. The announcement came during the October 29, 2025, broadcast of AEW Dynamite on TBS and HBO Max.

The match was proposed by Orange Cassidy following a wild brawl between The Death Riders and O’Reilly, Allin, Briscoe, and Strong. Cassidy’s suggestion was met with a roar of approval from the crowd.

“A Blood & Guts match as the solution,” Cassidy stated, seemingly unfazed by the violent implications of the stipulation.

The team consisting of Kyle O’Reilly, Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong has been referred to as The Conglomeration in promotional materials. The history between these two factions has been escalating for weeks, leading to the chaotic confrontation on Dynamite that prompted Cassidy’s proposal. The match on November 12 promises to be a brutal culmination of their animosity.

Blood and Guts matches feature two rings enclosed by a large steel cage, with the only way to win being by submission or surrender. With the bad blood already boiling between these two teams, the November 12 edition of Dynamite is set to be a can’t-miss event.

Marigold Stars Sidelined: Hayashishita, Sakurai & Minami Out Indefinitely

0

Marigold announced that Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, and Komomo Minami will be sidelined indefinitely due to injuries sustained at the promotion’s Grand Destiny event.

The promotion has not disclosed specific details regarding the nature or severity of the injuries suffered by the three wrestlers. All three have missed scheduled appearances following the event due to medical concerns, and no timeline has been provided for their potential return.

The loss of three prominent roster members creates significant challenges for Marigold’s immediate booking plans. Utami Hayashishita is widely recognized as one of the promotion’s top stars, while both Sakurai and Minami have played important roles in recent storylines and events.

Grand Destiny is one of Marigold’s marquee events, featuring high-stakes matches and top talent. The physical toll from the show has now forced the promotion to adjust future cards and potentially reconsider championship plans.

The absence of these performers may create opportunities for younger or less-established wrestlers to step into more prominent roles.

Michael Chandler Reveals The One Warning WWE Gave Him Before His Raw Promo

0

UFC star Michael Chandler recently provided the full backstage story behind his electrifying appearance on the February 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw, where he got on the mic and cut a passionate promo calling out Conor McGregor. Speaking on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet, Chandler revealed that the promo was his idea and that he had to get permission from the highest levels of WWE, including President Nick Khan.

Chandler, who was in town for a UFC event in Anaheim, explained that he didn’t want to overstep his bounds as a guest at the show.

“They knew [the promo] was gonna happen, because I wanted to ask for permission. Once again, going back to I’m not going to show up to WWE and make it about me. So I asked, I forget who I was sitting with. But they asked, and it went up to Nick [Khan], went up the flagpole to Nick… I was like, Well, hey, why don’t you just give me the microphone? And they were like, you want the microphone? And I was like, Yeah, I want the microphone. And they were like, hold on. Everyone’s got the ear pieces, one of the production people wound it up the flag pole to Nick, and Nick’s like, yeah, give him the microphone.”

He also shared the one specific warning he received from the production team, which he almost violated.

“But then they did say, ‘Hey, make sure you do not rip the… microphone out of her hand, they will freaking be mad at you if you do that.’ I’m like, okay, I’ll take it. But it was a little bit of a passionate grab. But it wasn’t like, ‘Give me that thing!’”

The promo was a viral success, garnering a reported 60 million views in 24 hours. Chandler, who has lost five of his last six UFC fights, explained that his goal has always been to entertain the fans above all else, a mentality he feels is missing from some other fighters.

“My number one goal is always to make people feel something. If you’re buying a pay-per-view… you just took your work boots off, you invited some buddies over, and you’re going to watch me fight. I’m going to pour every single ounce of myself into that performance… I think you don’t see that with certain guys and gals in the sport, it becomes too much of a ‘well, I’m too afraid to lose so therefore, I’m not gonna put myself out there.’… I’m living my passion, and I love… God created me for hand-to-hand combat, in the wrestling mats, maybe in the WWE ring after fighting, but right now in the UFC.”

Booker T: “It’s Time To Pull The Trigger” On Oba Femi’s Main Roster Call-Up

0

WWE Hall of Famer and current NXT commentator Booker T believes the clock has run out on Oba Femi’s time in NXT. Speaking on his “Hall of Fame Podcast,” Booker T made a strong case for the “Nigerian Giant” to be called up to the main roster, arguing that the former dominant champion has accomplished everything possible on the brand.

Femi, who held the NXT North American Championship for 267 days, has been one of the most protected and impressive superstars on the roster for the past year. Booker T feels that Femi has hit his ceiling in developmental and that now is the perfect time for him to move to Raw or SmackDown.

“I can tell you this, Oba has done a hell of a job in NXT, and if it is time for him to move on it’s the right time. If we was to stay in NXT, what else is there for Oba Femi to do? He’s dominated.”

Booker T elaborated on his stance, stating that Femi is ready to make an immediate impact on the main roster and that it’s time for WWE to make the move.

“I think Oba can make a big splash on the main roster right now. He’s done everything he could possibly do in NXT. I think it’s time to pull the trigger. I’m not one to book the show, which is why I’m so reluctant to even say it, but I really think Oba Femi can fit in on the main roster, especially with the right players around him to teach him how to be a main event player.”

He concluded by naming the specific top-tier veterans he believes Femi needs to be around to learn how to become a “main event player” at the next level.

“Guys like Randy Orton, guys like CM Punk, guys like Roman Reigns, to be around those guys right now is invaluable for someone like Oba Femi.”

Oba Femi’s last major program saw him unsuccessfully challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship in a Title vs. Title match on the September 23 episode of NXT.

Live Event Management Executive Talks WWE’s VIP Package & Sponsor Coordination Approach

0

For Jennifer Brisman, no matter the environment the guest is the gold. She is the founder and CEO of VOW, a one-stop shop platform for event orchestration to help products and planners coordinate every moving part of the live experience in real time. Brisman has helped produce more than 600 events from Saturday Night Live to the Tony Awards and has broken through in the sports space with the PFL (Professional Fighters League).

The MMA company uses the platform specifically for VIP experiences. It manages key sponsors, fighters’ families, and stakeholders through grand scale seating assignments and list management tools in real time. She looks to grow capabilities from 10,000 people to 25,000 in Q1 and 50,000 Q2. Brisman has set aggressive benchmarks looking to stand at the forefront of live event organization technology and expand further in combat sports.

“What’s really exciting about wrestling is first you’re super close unlike more broadly sports or sports adjacent events. You are close to the smell of the sweat. That is the first thing true live action. No matter where you are in that arena or that space or event, you feel it, you can touch it. Wrestling fans are just an unbelievable unique make and model and they are dedicated to that sport,” Brisman said, bringing her perspective to what WWE has done. “What’s interesting in wrestling in general and action sports is not that you’re just close to the action, but it’s the way they deal with VIP experiences. All of these groups have VIP experiences that might relate to hosts to corporate groups to private groups.”

She continued: “They are bringing them in, pulling them through, but you also have to remember, for the most part you are 360 around the ring right around the action. You also have to think about who is sitting around the ring that the broadcast is hitting. This is such a key component only our software allows you to do because everything in it is real-time with  live data and where people are sat and where groups are sat that allows broadcasts to focus. This is a big thing for WWE and other similar groups to be able to ensure that key faces are near the sponsor where broadcast is hitting a sponsor logo or sponsor name.”

As companies like TKO with WWE under that umbrella, VIP focus and experiential packages have become priority. Not to mention big moneymakers that weren’t prevalent to what it has become in recent years. In her eyes, little things like who is rubbing elbows with who matters in the short-term and long-term.

“They really think about who is sitting around the action, who is sitting around the ring. How that camera is going to pan to those faces or guests or sponsors. Again because it’s 360, that’s significant and major,” Brisman. “Also, wrestling moves. They are moving venues in different cities, sometimes a little different than teams and leagues so they have amazing partners across broadcast partners. Our platform would allow them to ensure to have all seating information, VIP guest attendee fan information, all in real-time. Wrestling is really unique and super exciting. They’ve really doubled down on VIP experiences and hospitality moments.”

Brisman appreciates what TKO has created by consolidating partnerships and expanding in different areas. It comes down to the question of what drives a sponsor to come on to a major brand. Also, what brings fans coming back while leveraging the live event experience to keep fans, sponsors, and stakeholders invested.

“It’s the rinse and repeat with what can be done and creating stable revenue,” she said. “It’s brilliant what they’ve done and certainly commend them for thinking about what their fans want and really broadening that base.”

Thunder Rosa Provides Update On Recovery From Undisclosed Injury

0

Thunder Rosa is expecting to return soon.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion recently had an interview with Midnight Movie Trash. She talked about things such as her Mission Pro Wrestling promotion going on hiatus, what inspired her to start her Taco vlog and more.

The female star also revealed what she’s been up to during her absence from AEW TV. She mentioned things like being a part of the mega procession of Catrinas and her work with the NFL. Thunder Rosa then explained that her rehab is going well and she is expecting to return to the ring fairly soon:

“I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab for the injuries that I just had a couple months ago and I have really good news. Everything’s going really well so I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon.”

The Mexican star last wrestled during the All In Texas PPV back in July this year. She was part of the #1 Contender Casino Gauntlet match for the Women’s title, which was won by Athena.

The nature of her injury is unknown as Thunder Rosa had only announced that she’ll be taking a break from wrestling after the PPV. We’ll have to see what the company has planned for her upon her return.

The Undertaker Reveals The One Match He’s Most Fond Of

0

The Undertaker has explained what made Shawn Michaels so great.

The Dead Man recently had an interview with Comedian Tom Segura. They talked about things such as the origin of WrestleMania, the birth of The Dead Man character, injuries in his career and more.

The former World Champion was asked to name one match he is fond of above all others in his illustrious career. The Undertaker picked his WrestleMania 25 match with HBK, saying that it was as close to perfect as he ever got:

“So the match I’m probably [most fond of] as far as a wrestling purist kind of matches, would have to be WrestleMania 25, Shawn Michaels. That was as close to perfect that I ever got, right?

It was just one of those things when you’re in the moment. And obviously, Shawn is probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest in-ring talent ever.”

He Was Ahead of His Time: The Undertaker

When asked what made Michaels such a great talent, The Last Outlaw explained that not only did Shawn had all the qualities required in a great wrestler but he was also a believable fighter:

“He just was an exceptional talent. He loved the business. He was a phenomenal athlete. He had this incredible personality. He just, he had it all. He was good on the mic. His character was good.

And for a smaller guy…for me, in a wrestling match, it always broke down, like you can do all the wrestling and everything, it always, at some point, breaks down to where it’s just dukes, right? It’s just a fight. And not everybody had that.

They didn’t have that edge. He did. He was ahead of his time with his inward ability. But when it came down to the, even if it came down to just the fight, he was believable. He’s recognized as one of the greats, but I don’t think people really understand how good he was.”

Latest On Private Party’s Mysterious AEW Absence

0

Private Party remain in AEW, at least for now.

The tag team of Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy has not been seen on the company’s programming since January this year. They dropped the AEW tag titles to The Hurt Syndicate in their last bout for the promotion.

The tag team wrestled one match for HOG a couple of months later and have been out of action ever since, leaving people curious about their status.

There was some talk about them when it was reported in the Summer that the duo’s contract was up soon and that WWE had interest in bringing them on board, but there has been no movement in this direction since.

Fight Select provided a small update on the matter recently. They noted that despite previous reports, both Quen and Kassidy remain under contract as of this writing. Though it could change anytime.

One interesting possibility per the site is that the deal of the two stars could expire at different times, meaning that we can see them leaving the company seperately or one of could leave the promotion while the other stays.

With no solid update on their status beyond this, it’s hard to say when or where we’ll see Private Party wrestling again. Though fans are hopeful that it will not be much longer before the young stars return to TV.

WWE Alum Zach Gowen Shares Being Mistaken For Joe Hendry

0

Zach Gowen made an immediate impact in WWE when he debuted in 2003, as the one-legged wrestler worked with some of the top stars of the time. Today, Gowen is still being met by wrestling fans, even if some are mistaking him for a certain Scottish star.

On Facebook, Gowen shared that he was recently spotted by a wrestling fan, though they mistook him for Joe Hendry. When Gowen shared that he wasn’t Hendry, but was indeed a former WWE Superstar, this claim was met with a sarcastic “yeah, right.” Gowen asked his fans if he was ‘cooked’ after both being mistaken and having his history as a WWE Superstar dismissed.

After briefly competing in TNA Wrestling in early 2003, Gowen signed with WWE that year and debuted as a planted fan of Mr. America (a masked Hulk Hogan). Gowen’s support for America/Hogan would put him at odds with Mr. McMahon. Gowen’s time with WWE would also see him share the screen with John Cena, The Big Show, and Brock Lesnar before his release from the company in February 2004.

Gowen appeared on AEW TV in May of this year and shared a spot with Ricochet, proving that fans still recognize the one-legged wrestler. But with his blond hair and positive attitude, this case of mistaken identity proved funny for the ex-Superstar.

Absolute Batman Hits One Winged Angel, Kenny Omega Reacts

DC Comics’ resident caped crusader Batman demonstrated his pro wrestling skills by hitting a One Winged Angel. In Absolute Batman Annual #1, the Dark Knight takes down a member of the Gotham City Police Department with the wrestling move. On X, Kenny Omega, the user of the One Winged Angel, was pleased to see his finisher make it to the page.

Absolute Batman, like all titles in the Absolute Universe, gives an alternate take to Batman. In this universe, Bruce Wayne is a blue-collar civil engineer, not the billionaire playboy seen in the mainstream continuity. Bruce’s mother is still alive in the ‘AU’ and rather than being his trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth is an MI6 operative sent to Gotham to track Batman.

This moment is just the latest example of the worlds of AEW and DC Comics colliding. In October 2025, it was shared that a two-issue series will see AEW wrestlers team with the Justice League in 2026. The two sides will unite to recover a “Big Galactic Belt” and prevent a cosmic catastrophe.

In 2024, several issues of DC Comics featured short stories giving the background behind some of the All-Elite roster. These stories were later re-released as a collected ‘AEW Origins’ book.

The ties between AEW and DC Comics remain stronger than ever, as DC will serve as the sponsor of AEW Full Gear 2025 on November 22. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from these two entertainment powerhouses.
