Goldberg Won’t Rush Preparations For Retirement Match

0

Bill Goldberg will wrestle his final match in 2025 and is focused on giving a match worthy of a retirement. Speaking on the latest edition of the CarCast podcast, Goldberg provided a small update on his training.

“I feel a little bit better, I’ve gained a little bit of weight man. Done a little kickboxing on the weekends. I’m getting there man, I’ve got a little bit of time left. Slowly but surely, Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

Goldberg admitted that his not overdoing things to avoid risking an injury has been “really tough” but he is pleased to be on a good schedule and “injury free as of right now.” Given that he was in a vehicle, it was fitting that Goldberg discussed his efforts with an automobile analogy.

“It’s like rebuilding a car. You’ve got to strip it down to the bare minimum and sequentially build it in a logical form. It applies with a vehicle, it applies with your body. I can’t get overzealous and put s*** on before it’s time.”

No opponent has been confirmed for GUNTHER’s final match, though many believe GUNTHER will give the Hall of Famer his sendoff. For now, Goldberg remains focused on honing his body for the match, no matter how long the process takes.

Triple H: Vince McMahon Didn’t Like WrestleMania 38 Retirement Opener

0

WrestleMania 38: Sunday kicked off in 2022 with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque formally confirming his in-ring retirement. Levesque, who had suffered a major heart issue the previous year, left his boots in the ring—a ceremonial gesture symbolizing the end of his wrestling career.

During a recent episode of Stephanie’s Places, Levesque reflected on his emotional farewell. While the moment carried deep significance for the 14-time WWE World Champion, his father-in-law Vince McMahon was less enthusiastic about the idea.

“The idea of going and putting my boots in the ring was not what he had in mind. Like, ‘Why do you wanna — I gotta open the show with a downer,’” Levesque recalled.

He disagreed with McMahon’s view, describing the segment as a “triumphant moment” rather than a somber one. For Levesque, it marked a symbolic return following his health scare. Since then, he has remained active behind the scenes as WWE’s creative lead and continues to make occasional on-screen appearances.

As for McMahon, his time on WWE television has concluded following his resignation in January 2024. While McMahon reportedly has plans for a new entertainment company brewing, he’ll never have the ‘downer/triumphant’ sendoff Levesque received three years ago.

Despite “Insane” Travel Schedule, Will Ospreay Explains Why He’ll Never Move To The US

0

AEW star Will Ospreay, despite a demanding schedule that sees him travel from England to the United States nearly every week, has no intention of relocating. Speaking to Bleacher Report, Ospreay emphasized his commitment to his life in the U.K., primarily for his family and stepson.

“There’s nothing in my being that makes me want to move to the United States,” Ospreay stated. “I respect it and understand why people do it, but I have such a lovely life here and my son’s doing really well in school. I am very happy here. I don’t have any aspirations to want to move.”

Given his high-impact in-ring style and rigorous travel, Ospreay praised AEW’s medical staff for their attentive care. “We’ve got a great medical team backstage at AEW. I do feel like they put me on priority quite a lot because they do realize that my travel schedule is quite insane,” he said. “I appreciate every single one of them that looks after me.”

Beyond his AEW commitments, Ospreay produces for Pro Wrestling Eve in the U.K. This Sunday, he faces Hangman Page in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament final at AEW Double or Nothing.

Kenny Omega Reveals Why A Former Champion Is Off AEW TV

0

Kenny Omega has clarified the reason for Hikaru Shida’s absence from AEW television throughout 2025.

During a recent Twitch stream, Omega revealed that the former three-time AEW Women’s Champion has been in her home country of Japan for several months awaiting visa renewal. In the interim, Omega has taken on cat-sitting duties for Shida.

“It’s unfortunate, every couple of years, everyone has to go back to their home country and re-up their visa,” Omega explained. “I would’ve hated for her cats to have been alone for, who knows how long… In this case, it’s taking quite a while.” He added that Shida’s cats “get separation anxiety” but get along with his cat, Dobby, saying, “It’s nice and it’s fun. I would do it anytime. It’s not a chore.”

Shida last wrestled for AEW in November 2024, losing to Kris Statlander. While awaiting her US visa renewal, she has remained active in several Japanese wrestling promotions. There is currently no confirmed timeline for her return to AEW competition in the United States.

Absent AEW Star Teases Return At Double Or Nothing

0

Tay Melo stated in an interview that AEW asked her to prepare for an upcoming event, fueling speculation of a return at this weekend’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

Speaking with Globo, Melo expressed her hope for such a comeback, two years after announcing her pregnancy at the same event in 2023.

“That day will be the “Double or Nothing” event again,” Melo stated. “It was the event where I announced Luna, and it will have been two years since that moment. Since it’s a new company, I’m the first fighter to have a baby. It would be a very special date. I’m looking forward to it.”

Melo recalled the emotional 2023 announcement with husband Sammy Guevara, where they were “the company’s villains.” She said, “We didn’t know how the fans would react… When we announced it… the fans went crazy… I went from villain to darling.”

While no official return is confirmed, the timing is poignant. Melo last appeared for AEW at the 2023 Double or Nothing, making an in-ring return for STARDOM in January 2025. AEW Double or Nothing airs live this Sunday, May 25th.

AEW Stars Cleared To Return To In-Ring Action

0

After an extended period on the sidelines due to significant injuries, the tag team known as The WorkHorsemen, Anthony Henry and J.D. Drake, have both been officially cleared to return to in-ring action. Anthony Henry shared the positive news on X, expressing their eagerness to compete again inside of the squared circle.

Henry wrote: “It’s been a long year, but the workhorsemen are both 100% officially cleared to return to the ring. Let us rejoice! #workhorsemen”

The WorkHorsemen have not competed as a team since an AEW Collision taping in May 2024. Serious setbacks marked their hiatus; Henry suffered a broken jaw and later a torn left biceps in 2024, while J.D. Drake has been out of action since November 2024.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see at least one-half of the team back, as J.D. Drake is scheduled for his singles return at “ACTION DEAN~!!!2.” The event, co-presented by AEW/ROH, will see Drake face Josh Woods in a one-on-one match.

Karrion Kross Nearly Made A Major Change for a Very Good Cause

0

Karrion Kross has been impressing fans for months in WWE, and recently, the former NXT Champion revealed plans for a major change that he had wanted to make. In a candid moment during his May 21 appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Kross shared that he planned to change his look for a worthy cause.

“I actually almost shaved my head in December. I was going to donate my hair to a charity… for kids suffering from hair loss.”

Kross added that WWE supported the idea but wanted to tie it into a storyline, which ultimately didn’t materialize due to timing conflict, resulting in Kross making a change in a different way. Instead of donating his hair, Kross made a “good donation” of money and added that he continues to work with the organization privately.

Ironically, Kross’ hair has played a role in his on-screen character as a master-manipulator. Eagle-eyed fans have spotted that Kross often styles his hair to match whichever babyface he is trying to conver to the dark side. In 2024, Kross convinced The Miz to turn on R-Truth and in a heartbreaking moment, led to The New Day ending their lengthy friendship with Big E.

Today, Kross remains a star in WWE of growing popularity, with his shirt now available at events. It remains to be seen what is next for the ‘Devil’s Advocate.’

Rossy Ogawa Criticized Over Fat-Shaming Comments, Kenny Omega Responds

0

Utami Hayashishita is the reigning Marigold World Champion, but recent comments by the company’s founder Rossy Ogawa about her has stemmed a backlash. Speaking with Sports Graphic Number, Ogawa discussed the champion’s presentation and had some choice comments about her appearance.

“I want to see her show a toned body as a wrestler. It’s not like the Showa era. I’m not saying that just because she’s a pro wrestler, she should drink and eat a lot. But I don’t approve of a fat wrestler.”

Ogawa’s comments have since gone viral with many taking issue with the Japanese promoter. You can see some of the backlash to his comments below:

Kenny Omega has long been critical of Ogawa and responded to these comments during his Twitch stream. Omega said he found it ironic that when he’s spoken negatively of Ogawa in the past, he faces instant criticism from fans. Now, he believes fans are paying attention to the real side of the Marigold founder.

“Someone like Rossy does a good job of revealing himself to the world on his own. And soon enough, whether he goes full mask off on his own, or people start talking, the writing will be on the wall.”

Ogawa has yet to comment on the backlash, but many believe that his words and views on the reigning Marigold champion reflects poorly, both on him and his promotion.

QT Marshall Brining 1FW Promotion To Legendary Atlanta Venue

0

1FW, the promotion run by QT Marshall, will debut at Center Stage in Atlanta with their ‘Summerstage’ event set to take place on July 25. In a statement, Marshall spoke about bringing 1FW to the iconic venue in downtown Atlanta as part of a new partnership with Dalton Carpet One, a notable name in kitchen ,bath & flooring solutions across Georgia.

“This partnership is a perfect match. Dalton Carpet One is a name synonymous with quality and community values—just like 1FW. Together, we’re bringing unforgettable entertainment to Atlanta fans in a way that’s both exciting and family-oriented.”

It won’t be just wrestling action that fans will get to experience at SummerStage. On Facebook, it has been confirmed that several meet and greets will take place. Fans will have the chance to meet Marshall and some notable names from AEW including Harley Cameron, Tony Schiavone, and MJF.

The Center Stage Theater is no stranger to wrestling, having hosted WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling, Ring of Honor, MLW, WCW, ECW, and the NWA during its rich history. Now, 1FW is the latest name to join those ranks, as Marshall intends to put on a stacked event this July.

Karrion Kross Believes WWE Fans Have A “Starvation For Authenticity”

0

Karrion Kross recently shared his thoughts on what he believes modern WWE fans are looking for in performers.

This came up during his conversation with Ariel Helwani, following Kross’s notable involvement at WWE WrestleMania 41, where AJ Styles lost to Logan Paul after Kross’s interference was rejected, leading to a much-discussed promo from Kross.

Kross feels that today’s audience has a strong desire for genuine connection and realism from the superstars they watch, even within the world of sports entertainment. He believes this authenticity is crucial for truly engaging WWE fans.

“There’s a starvation for authenticity that the audience wants right now. I know it’s specifically from me, but I feel like it’s in general,” Kross explained. “People can feel like the difference between theatrics, which obviously are still appreciated, and then there’s a difference between somebody being real. That, I think, has always drawn people in.” His comments suggest that he aims to bring that sense of “being real” to his own performances to better connect with the WWE audience. This view likely influenced his “worked-shoot” promo style after WrestleMania.

Karrion Kross Clarifies Post-WrestleMania Promo: Not Disgruntled, Just Really Hungry

0

Following his talked-about “worked-shoot” promo after WWE WrestleMania 41, Karrion Kross has clarified his current mindset. The incident at WrestleMania saw AJ Styles lose to Logan Paul after Styles refused an offer from Kross to cheat on his behalf.

Kross’s intense promo afterwards left some WWE fans wondering if he was unhappy with his position in the company. Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Kross directly addressed these thoughts.

He made it clear that his strong words did not come from a place of unhappiness, but from a deep desire to achieve more and give WWE fans their money’s worth.

“The biggest misconception anyone can take from what I said on WrestleMania was that I’m disgruntled. I’m not,” Kross stated. “I’m just really, really, really hungry, man. I’m really hungry. All of this is coming from a place of passion. It’s all about the grand scheme of things. People are paying to come watch the greatest show in the world. I want to be a reason on the show where they felt like they got every single cent worth of that. I want to be more than just an Easter egg.”

Zoey Stark Breaks Silence On Injury: “The Comeback Is Greater Than The Setback”

0

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark suffered an unfortunate injury during the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw. The injury occurred when her knee buckled badly after she performed a missile dropkick during a high-stakes match.

Stark was immediately checked on by the ringside official. She was then carefully carried to the backstage area by WWE personnel for medical attention. Following this, the camera quickly cut away from the scene and the show went to a commercial break. When WWE Raw returned, it was clear that Stark had been removed from her Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match. Her opponents in that match were Rhea Ripley and the returning Kairi Sane.

Later, Stark took to social media to give an update to WWE fans and share her feelings. She expressed her gratitude for the messages she had received.

Stark wrote, “Wow the love and support means more to me than you’ll ever know! What hurts more than my knee is knowing I wont be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys.”

Will Ospreay and Hangman Page Will Main Event AEW Double or Nothing This Sunday

0

The main event for this Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing 2025 pay-per-view is officially set.

On the “go-home” edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page and Will Ospreay came face-to-face in a heated opening segment to deliver their final words before their high-stakes clash.

Ospreay revealed he had submitted a formal request to AEW President Tony Khan to have their match headline the show – and spoke about the need to bring that title “home” and defend it in London at Forbidden Door 2025 on August 25.

By the end of the segment, commentary confirmed Khan granted the request: Hangman Page vs. Will Ospreay will close the show as the official main event of AEW Double or Nothing 2025. The match, which also serves as the finals of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament, takes place this Sunday live from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The winner of the match will go on to challenge the AEW World Champion at AEW All In: Texas on July 12, 2025.

The Rock To Star In A24’s ‘Breakthrough’ Film

0

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson continues to pick a wide range of acting roles for his busy schedule. He will next work with the acclaimed studio A24 on a psychological thriller called “Breakthrough,” according to a new report from Deadline.

This new film project reunites him with A24 after their earlier work together on “The Smashing Machine,” an anticipated MMA drama that is set for release later this year.

In “Breakthrough,” which was written by Zeke Goodman, Johnson will take on a notable supporting part. He is set to play a very charming but manipulative motivational guru who has a hidden dark side and uses morally questionable methods. The story, set in Southern California around the early 2000s, will follow a young man who falls under this guru’s powerful influence.

A24 is set to produce and also finance the movie, with Johnson’s own Seven Bucks Productions also on board to help co-produce. Rock hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber when Cody Rhodes rejected his offer to be his World Champion, leading to John Cena’s heel turn.

WWE Star Provides Injury Update

0

Apollo Crews recently gave WWE fans an encouraging update on his health through social media. He has been away from the wrestling ring since having surgery in February 2025 for a torn pectoral muscle.

Crews suffered a nasty injury during his match against Johnny Gargano on the January 24, 2025, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Even though he won that match, the 37-year-old wrestler had to have an operation and has been out of action since then.

This past Tuesday, May 20th, Crews posted on his Instagram account, saying he was feeling good during his recovery. He mentioned that the mental part of getting over the injury was tough, even though he didn’t have much physical pain. Crews also said he is working hard in his rehab sessions.

“Been crushin the rehab. Feeling good,” Crews wrote. “I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened. I’m over that hump now. Just waking up taking it day by day and putting in the work. ?? @carbondietcoach keeping me on top of my nutrition. ???”

This update comes as Crews also recently passed a big career milestone, completing 10 years with WWE since his first official NXT appearance in May 2015, where he signed his contract with William Regal.

He moved to the main WWE roster in April 2016 and has since won both the United States Championship (in 2020) and the Intercontinental Championship (at WrestleMania 37 in 2021).

WWE LFG Runner-Up Shares Why They’re Happy They Lost

0

Zena Sterling was the women’s runner-up on the first edition of WWE LFG, but she she believes not winning may have been the best thing for her. On Busted Open Radio, Sterling was asked whether losing the competition felt like a failure and made clear her answer of “Absolutely not.”

“I’m happy that I didn’t win Season One. I know that sounds so silly, but I feel like in a sense, if I did win, it would have been a little bit too easy, you know, because I feel like now I have that much more of a challenge. And I love struggle.”

Sterling emphasized her belief that genuine growth comes through adversity, not by winning a reality show formatted show to earn a WWE NXT contract. While some may pleased to be handed opportunities, Sterling shared that if something comes that easy to her, “then it’s not worth anything to me.”

“It took me a lot to get to finals—like a lot to get there—but me not winning it, that just means I can put in that much more. Season Two and, you know, the road ahead to get that contract and get on NXT TV.”

Instead of Sterling, it was Tyra Mae Steele who walked out of Madison Square Garden with the win and the NXT contract and has already appeared on the silver brand. As for Zena Sterling, the loss isn’t a setback—it’s motivation for everything she plans to do next.

Samantha Irvin Teams With Stevie Wonder at Raiders Gala

0

Samantha Irvin parted ways with WWE last year to focus on her non-wrestling plans, most notably, her passion for music. Now, the former ring announcer has shared a milestone in her career: introducing Stevie Wonder at a major event. On Instagram, Irvin shared that she had the honor and privilege to introduce the 25-time Grammy Award winner at the second annual Raiders Silver & Black Gala, held at Allegiant Stadium.

Irvin joked that she’d “came out of retirement” to introduce Wonder, cementing that her ring announcing days are in the past. She expressed gratitude to the Raiders and The Raiders Foundation for the opportunity and for supporting a cause close to her heart—mental health.

Irvin intends to focus on her music career and this connection to one of the industry’s all-time greats is certainly a feather in her cap. Irvin recently dropped a music video for her track ‘Shawty Wanna’ though has claimed that the video was ‘shadowbanned’ on YouTube.

As for her wrestling future, Ricochet has confirmed that Irvin plans to return to the industry at some point. As for when that’ll be, that remains to be seen, but in the meantime, Irvin is garnering a lot of attention outside the wrestling business.

WWE Has Discussed A New Feud For Rusev

0

A potential new rivalry featuring two of WWE Raw’s most physical stars, Rusev and Sheamus, is reportedly being considered behind the scenes. PWInsider.com has stated there have been “rumblings” within WWE about a program being pitched that would see “The Bulgarian Brute” go up against “The Celtic Warrior.”

Rusev made his return to WWE in April 2025, joining the Raw roster and immediately reminding WWE fans of his presence. Sheamus also made his own impactful return to Raw in early May 2025 after some time away, looking ready for intense competition. A feud between these two hard-hitting former United States Champions would promise some physical and exciting matches for the Monday night show.

While the report from PWInsider makes it clear that this is currently an idea that has been “pitched” and not a confirmed plan, the prospect of these two veterans battling it out is something many wrestling fans would likely want to see. Such a program could add a significant, hard-hitting feud to the Raw landscape in the coming weeks or months if WWE decides to move forward with the idea.

WWE SmackDown’s Third Hour May Continue Longer Than Expected

0

WWE Friday Night SmackDown could continue its three-hour format on the USA Network into early June 2025.

According to a report from PWInsider.com, internal listings at the USA Network still show SmackDown scheduled for three-hour episodes during that period.

This is noteworthy because the original understanding when SmackDown moved to USA Network and expanded its runtime earlier this year was that it would go back to a two-hour show by early summer. Many WWE fans had been anticipating this return to the shorter format, as it’s the traditional length for the blue brand.

The three-hour episodes, while offering more content, have been seen by some as occasionally stretching the show. The current internal USA Network listing for three-hour SmackDowns in early June now raises questions about whether WWE has decided to extend the longer runtime.

While it’s possible this is just an old schedule that hasn’t been updated yet, it also might mean that the company is pleased with the three-hour version or has other programming reasons for keeping it. WWE fans will be looking for official word as June approaches to see if SmackDown will indeed stick with the extended format or revert to two hours as first planned.

Backstage Response To Chelsea Green’s WWE Efforts

0

Chelsea Green was rehired by WWE in early 2023, and her work ever since hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans or those backstage. According to PWInsider, Green has received consistent positive feedback behind the scenes over the past few months. Green has been earning a reputation for her professionalism and willingness to take on media responsibilities outside of the ring.

One backstage source likened her to The Miz, citing her commitment and media savvy as being akin to the two-time former WWE Champion. During an Insight appearance in May 2025, Green herself hoped to be compared to WWE’s veteran ‘A-Lister.’

“I’m trying to be the female Miz. He built this amazing life for himself and gets to do all of these appearances and he can lose but people still love him and find him entertaining.”

Green’s efforts are certainly paying off as she is a regular on WWE TV and is provided backup by the ‘Secret Hervice.’ In December 2024, Green became the first (and as she’ll remind you, longest reigning) WWE Women’s United States Champion, a sign of the company’s faith in her.

Having recently signed a multi-year deal with WWE, Green is planning for a long, prosperous future in WWE. And with the responses she’s receiving backstage, it may be a matter of time before more gold is around her waist.

Roman Reigns in Talks for Live-Action Street Fighter Film (Report)

0

Roman Reigns is no stranger to action, and now the OTC could be making a huge leap to the big screen. According to Deadline, Reigns is currently in talks to join the cast of Legendary’s upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. Though Reigns’ involvement has yet to be confirmed, he may potentially star alongside Andrew Koji (Bullet Train), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Noah Centineo (Warfare) in the movie based on Capcom’s iconic video game franchise.

While details on the plot remain top secret, it has been confirmed that Bad Trip director Kitao Sakurai will helm the project, which is being co-developed with Capcom. The Street Fighter series has seen several film adaptations, both in live action and animation, and was referenced in 2018’s pop-culture hit Ready Player One.

This wouldn’t mark Reigns’ first foray into Hollywood. The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion previously appeared in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, portraying Mateo, the brother of Luke Hobbs (Reigns’ real-life cousin Dwayne Johnson.) He also made a cameo in the Netflix comedy The Wrong Missy, starring David Spade and Lauren Lapkus.

With John Cena, The Rock, and Dave Bautista succeeding in the world of acting, will Roman Reigns be next to join their ranks? Time will tell…

Willow Nightingale Confirms New Multi-Year AEW Contract

0

Willow Nightingale isn’t planning on going anywhere else. She confirmed that she has officially signed a new multi-year contract to remain with AEW, a move that keeps one of its most beloved talents with the promotion for the foreseeable future.

This news follows an earlier report this month from Fightful Select, which first indicated that Nightingale had agreed to terms on a new deal before her previous one was set to expire. Nightingale herself verified this during a sit-down interview with The TakeDown on SI, where she expressed her happiness and belief in both her own potential within AEW and the company’s ongoing growth.

“That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,” Nightingale told The Takedown. “I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish.”

She also shared her deep excitement about being an integral part of AEW’s journey and development: “But also, I’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing. But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I’m excited to continue, to take part in that.”

Nightingale initially signed with AEW in 2022 and has become a key figure on both AEW and Ring of Honor television. She is a former AEW TBS Champion and is reportedly currently involved in a significant storyline with the Death Riders group.

Lucha Libre Takes Over Dodger Stadium For Mexican Heritage Night Celebration

0

The spectacular pro wrestling style, Lucha Libre was on display recently at the iconic Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

As part of the team’s Mexican Heritage Night celebration, the event was stacked with live matches on the field and fans were treated with a dose of Mexican culture.

One of the matches that took place was a tag team match featuring The Wolf Zaddies (Bad Dude Tito & Che Cabrera) against Mariachi Montaña (Jose Calamaco & Ro Montaña).

A handful of “enmascarado” or masked wrestlers, a common tradition in Mexican lucha libre, competed at the event. It was further advertised that former WWE star Chavo Guerrero would throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Speaking about lucha libre, CMLL has also partnered with Airbnb which gives fans a chance to participate in a unique three-hour lucha libre training session in Mexico.

Meanwhile, during WrestleMania 41 weekend, WWE also announced its acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA. The historic acquisition has significantly changed the landscape of Mexican pro wrestling.

WWE also revealed a new crossover event: Worlds Collide, scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The joint event will feature wrestlers from both AAA and WWE.

Sami Zayn Picks Non-WWE Duo As Wrestling’s Best Tag Team

0

Sami Zayn has shared the ring with some of the greatest tag-teams in WWE, but his choice for the greatest duo never competed in the promotion. On X, Mark Briscoe reflected on the anniversary of his and Jay’s wrestling debut. This earned a response from Zayn, who picked the Briscoes over the likes of the Hardyz, the Dudleyz, the Usos, the New Day and others as wrestling’s greatest team.

Mark and Jay are 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champions, a record number within the promotion. The pair also held the TNA World Tag Team Championships, GHC’s Junior Heavweight Tag Team Titles, and the IWGP Tag Team Championships.

The Briscoes as a tag team came to a tragic end in 2023, when Jay was killed in a car accident mere minutes from his home in Laurel, Delaware. Now, Mark has continued on, showcasing his brother’s legacy, albeit as a singles competitor.
