‘The Right Call’ – Scott D’Amore Backs Unsatisfactory WrestleMania Main Event

0

John Cena captured his 17th WWE World Championship at WrestleMania, though some were left feeling underwhelmed by his victory over Cody Rhodes. After weeks of fiery promos between the two, Cena got the win in a relatively standard match, one without The Rock appearing.

Many feel that the match was unsatisfactory, both as a WrestleMania main event and as the starting point for John’s 17th reign on top. On the Ariel Helwani Show, however, Scott D’Amore argued that being unsatisifed with the man who has vowed to ruin wrestling makes a lot of sense.

“You want that WrestleMania main event to be 5 star and you want it to leave you satisfied. This was purposely an ending that leaves you unsatisfied. That sometimes it’s the right call.”

D’Amore’s comments reflect a debate many have had over the match, whether WWE chose to deliver a match that they knew fans would not be satisifed with. While some believe this makes sense for Cena’s character, others have argued that every wrestler should aim to deliver a great match for fans, even if their character loathes the audience.

On Raw, Cena was attacked by Randy Orton, teasing a title match between the two legendary rivals. As for what kind of match fans get from the pair, that remains to be seen, and will be a test of whether WWE is intentionally giving bad matches, or if WrestleMania was a one-off mistake.

WWE Update On Bayley’s Health After Missing WrestleMania 41

0

Bayley will be out of action for some time.

The former Women’s Champion was originally supposed to team up with Lyra Valkyria to challenge for the women’s tag titles at WrestleMania 41. She was pulled from the match over the weekend, however, after a backstage attack.

A returning Becky Lynch ended up replacing Bayley in the match, and the two female stars were able to defeat Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez to become the new champions.

Michael Cole provided an update on the kayfabe injury of the female star during this week’s episode of Raw. He noted that she has a partial shoulder dislocation and she will be out for a bit of time:

“Speaking of Bayley, injury update: she has a partial shoulder dislocation with an anterior labral tear. Bayley will be out for a bit of time now.”

The duo of Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria went on to defend their newly won titles in a rematch against Morgan & Rodriguez in the first match of Raw After WrestleMania. The duo ended up losing the championship in their first title defence, after which Becky turned heel and attacked her partner.

Valkyria still holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, so it appears that we’ll see Lynch going after the title following her heel turn tonight.

The mystery of Bayley’s absence continues however, with the update suggesting that she will be kept off TV for a while to sell the attack.

Watch: What Happened With Seth Rollins Once Raw After WrestleMania Went Off Air

0

Seth Rollins soaked in the moment once the explosive episode of WWE Raw after WrestleMania 41 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada went off air.

The show lived up to the expectations with multiple big returns and some surprise developments. First, we saw the return of JD McDonagh, who helped Dominik Mysterio retain his IC title. Sami Zayn also made his return to WWE programming, congratulating Jey Uso on his world title victory at Mania.

The biggest return of the night, however, was of Rusev. The former AEW star laid out the Alpha Academy. Later it was revealed that the former US Champion has signed a new long-term contract with WWE, along with his wife Lana.

What Happened After Raw

Seth Rollins accompanied by Paul Heyman was rightfully in the last segment of the show after winning the WrestleMania 41 Night 1 main event. He took a mic and started talking, but CM Punk was out before the Visionary could say much.

Punk and Rollins brawled until Roman Reigns’ music hit and the Tribal Chief went right after his former Shield brother. Reigns took out Heyman with a superman punch and was looking to do more damage until a hooded figure showed up to deliver a massive spear to Roman.

The figure revealed himself to be none other than Bron Breakker. The former IC Champion then took out CM Punk, confirming his alliance with Rollins and Heyman. This new trio then stood tall in the ring as the show went off air.

The new faction enjoyed the moment and took their time leaving the ring after the broadcast went off air. They slowly made their way up to the ramp, as Punk and Reigns remained at ringside, licking their wounds.

Rusev Is ‘Back Where He Belongs’ After WWE Return

0

On the post-WrestleMania 41 edition of WWE Raw, Rusev made his return to WWE, laying waste to Alpha Academy in the process. Speaking backstage after his dominating appearance, Rusev shared his first comments as a WWE Superstar once more.

“It’s been too long, five long years. But finally Rusev is back where he belongs. And this time, I will take what’s rightfully mine. Everything.”

Rusev’s return comes after he was among those cut by WWE in April 2020, explained by WWE at the time as due to budget cuts. Rusev would join AEW that same year as Miro and despite a strong start would not be used at all for the final year of his tenure.

Rusev was let-go from AEW in early 2025 and has now found his way back to WWE. Questions remain as to whether his wife Lana (real name CJ Perry) will join him on-screen. Perry has reportedly signed a Legends Deal with WWE, allowing her likeness to be used for merchandise and promotional material. As for now, Rusev is back and is ready to crush anyone who stands in his way.

Bron Breakker Aligns With Seth Rollins & Paul Heyman on Raw

0

Bron Breakker has revealed his next move in WWE following his Intercontinental title loss at WrestleMania 41. Now, the second-generation Superstar has confirmed that he is the newest Paul Heyman Guy.

In the closing moments of the post-WrestleMania Raw, Seth Rollins and Heyman made an appearance but were interrupted by Punk. The Best in the World went after Rollins and teased getting physical with Heyman before Seth got the better of him. Roman Reigns was out next and he attacked Rollins and was poised to attack Paul. Breakker would emerge to spear the OTC twice with the second time going through the barricade.

On the Pat McAfee Show earlier in the day, Heyman had teased that Rollins may not have been his only new affiliate. Now, fans know that the WWE Hall of Famer was talking about Bron Breakker. It remains to be seen whether thisis the entirity of Heyman’s new clients, or if somebody else is waiting in the wings as a Paul Heyman Guy to be.

Details on Rusev’s WWE Contract, Lana Signs Legends Deal

0

Miroslav “Miro” Barnyashev and CJ Perry have officially returned to WWE in newly signed deals, according to Rosy Cordero of Deadline. Rusev made a surprise to WWE on Monday’s Raw After WrestleMania from Last Vegas.

“Rusev is back to crush the WWE and become World Champion,” Perry told Deadline. “We have been cooking this up from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left, and with the help of Paradigm, we were able to make this a reality! Machka Crush.”

Rusev in WWE

Barnyashev, known to WWE fans as Rusev, debuted with the company in 2014. He quickly rose to prominence as an undefeated powerhouse alongside Perry, who portrayed his manager Lana. Over the years, Rusev captured the United States Championship three times and competed in high-profile matches against stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. His mix of in-ring dominance and comedic flair made him a standout personality. He was released from WWE in April 2020 during pandemic-related roster cuts.

AEW and WWE Return

Following his WWE exit, Barnyashev joined AEW under the name Miro in 2020. He went on to win the AEW TNT Championship in May 2021 and held the title for 140 days while portraying “The Redeemer.” His final AEW appearance aired in December 2023, and he officially departed in February 2025. He now returns to WWE on a two-year contract.

Lana Legend

Perry, who debuted in WWE in 2013, became a central figure in Rusev’s early career and later transitioned into in-ring competition, participating in multiple prominent storylines. She was released in 2021 and rejoined Barnyashev in AEW in 2023 before exiting the promotion in 2024. Perry has returned to WWE under a Legends Deal signed earlier this month.

Outside WWE

Outside the ring, Barnyashev and Perry continue building their presence in Hollywood. They are set to appear in the upcoming action comedy Guns Up starring Kevin James, with Barnyashev previously guest-starring on East New York.

JD McDonagh Returns On Raw, Costs Penta in Title Match

0

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio has his first title defense under his belt, thanks to the returning JD McDonagh. On the post-WrestleMania 41 edition of Raw, Mysterio put the gold on the line against Penta. Just as it appeared that Penta had the match won, McDonagh appeared and shoved him off the top rope. Not long after, Mysterio got the win, handing Penta his first singles loss in WWE.

McDonagh had been out of action since January after a scary spot during an episode of Raw. The Irish Ace did a dive to the outside that saw him collide with the announce table and his head whip backwards. Though many feated about a neck injury, McDonagh suffered broken ribs due to the incident.

JD’s absence had played into Dominik and Finn Balor’s tensions as Finn refused to listen to Dom’s suggestion about bringing in a replacement. Now, McDonagh is back and is doing all he can to help his allies.

Paul Heyman on His WrestleMania Betrayals: Punk Put Me in ‘Impossible’ Position, Reigns Turned on Me

0

Paul Heyman has broken his silence on his shocking WrestleMania betrayals. Appearing on the post-WrestleMania Pat McAfee Show (April 21, 2025), Heyman emotionally defended his decision to aid Seth Rollins in defeating both Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the WrestleMania 41 main event. While many fans saw Heyman’s actions as a stunning act of disloyalty, he framed the moment as the culmination of deep personal betrayal—by both Punk and Reigns.

“I was loyal to CM Punk. I brought him back after the Hell in a Cell. I gave him a spotlight. I gave him a chance to redeem himself with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns—and he puts me in this impossible, impossible, emotional, compromising position. That was an absolute no-win. It was a must-lose with my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. And that’s my best friend?”

Heyman claims he honored every promise to Punk, even escorting him to the ring at WrestleMania. But when confronted by the crushing weight of Reigns’ rejection:

“Let’s be clear about this—I didn’t betray Roman Reigns. What did I do? Did I put my hands on Roman Reigns on Monday night and shove him down to the canvas in front of millions watching at home? I didn’t touch Roman Reigns. What did I do? I got shoved down to the canvas. I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns…”

“Roman Reigns uses everyone in his sight—squeezes the juice out of the fruit until it’s not useful anymore, and then discards them. Like he did to me. Like he did to others before me. And I know that now. Seth Rollins knows that too…”

“I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief”—Heyman snapped. “Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did…”

In classic Heyman fashion, he laced scathing barbs with philosophical insight:

“You ask me how I’m disloyal? Nobody is making the case against me. I am! Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did. And you? You did the same thing to the guy who gave you everything. So don’t come at me like I’m the traitor.”

Dream Match Takes Place On WWE Raw

0

WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY came out to the ring for a promo, where she called WrestleMania 41 – night 2 the best night of her life. NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer came to the ring to show her respect and that SKY is the best. Therefore, she wanted to face the best.

SKY accepted her challenge and said that they should do it right now. WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce came out to tease the match happening by polling the crowd. He made it happen.

SKY retained the Women’s Title in the opening contest of WWE WrestleMania 41 – night 2 over Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. She won the title from Ripley on March 3, 2025 during an episode of WWE Raw.

Vaquer’s most recent match in NXT was at WWE Stand and Deliver last Saturday. She successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match against Giulia, Jaida Parker, and Jordynne Grace.

Rusev Returns on WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41

0

Rusev made a surprise return to WWE during the Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 41, and received a massive ovation from fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The lights dimmed before the former United States Champion emerged, marking his first WWE appearance in five years.

His return follows a multi-year stint in AEW, where he competed under the name Miro. The move had been anticipated after Big E publicly mentioned that Rusev had confirmed his WWE comeback during a WrestleMania weekend Fanatics Live Signing.

Rusev and his wife CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, were spotted in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend, further fueling anticipation of his return. Rusev’s re-emergence opens the door to high-stakes rivalries, with names like GUNTHER and United States Champion Jacob Fatu already being discussed as potential opponents.

The post-WrestleMania Raw has long been a stage for major surprises, and Rusev’s return added another memorable moment to that tradition.

Becky Lynch Turns Heel On WWE Raw

0

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Title reign for Becky Lynch and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyrie didn’t last long as they lost the titles on WWE Monday Night Raw.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez lost the titles to Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria at WWE WrestleMania 41 – night 2 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. This was after WWE shot an angle on Saturday where Bayley, who was originally slated to team with Lyra, was pulled from the match due to backstage attack.

Coming out of the show, Lynch confirmed she is back full-time with WWE. On Raw, Lynch and Lyra lost the titles to Morgan and Rodriguez.

Post-match, Lynch attacked Lyra and trash-talked her before she hit her finisher. Lynch exited the ring while the fans were in shock.

WWE mentioned on commentary that Bayley is out with a shoulder injury.

Randy Orton Lays Out John Cena, Sets Up WWE Title Match

0

John Cena opened this week’s episode of WWE Raw to cut a promo about how he has 27 appearances, not wrestling matches, left before he retires.

“You heartless bastards, you boo him on Friday and cheer him on Friday then boo on Sunday, and I say his name and the man we all put on our shoulders last year because he finished his story now disgusts you? That’s what’s wrong with this.”

Cena continued, “There is no one in the WWE with the ruthless aggression of John Cena, but unlike you, I have a heart…”

He said that there’s no one in WWE who has the stones or ruthless aggression to step up and take the title from him. He told the fans to take a good look at the last real champion. This led to Randy Orton sneaking up and hitting an RKO to lay out Cena.

This appears to be setting up a match at WWE Backlash in three weeks, as both stars are advertised for the event. This will be Cena’s first Backlash appearance since 2009 and is expected to be his final one before his retirement in December 2025. These two stars were rivals for years with both publicly talking about wanting to wrestle each other one more time.

Scarlett Teases Big Change for Herself and Karrion Kross After Viral Promo

0

Scarlett took to social media Monday, suggesting possible changes ahead for herself and Karrion Kross after a fiery promo from Kross during a recent WrestleMania 41 recap stream.

In a post on X, Scarlett wrote that “whatever happens” moving forward, she’s proud to have stood by Kross, who “never plays it safe.” Her message followed a segment where both she and Kross appeared on a stream hosted by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant.

During the broadcast, Kross unleashed a blistering promo, expressing frustration over AJ Styles declining his help in dealing with Logan Paul. He also criticized WWE’s decision to spotlight Paul on the WrestleMania stage, while he and Scarlett—25-year veterans—have yet to receive such an opportunity.

Kross recounted an encounter with Bill Goldberg, who once told him to “be a good soldier.” Reflecting on that advice, Kross declared that loyalty and patience no longer lead to success in WWE. “It’s all about viral moments now,” he said.

He further claimed that his organic buildup toward a potential match with Randy Orton was overlooked in favor of trend-driven booking. Referencing recent events, he concluded the tirade with a direct shot: “You want a viral moment? Guy with the suit and tie behind the truck, go f**k yourself. And that’s from Killer Kross.”

Kross exited the stream visibly upset, with Scarlett attempting to calm him down. As he left, he also voiced frustration about his lack of privacy in the wrestling world.

AEW Dynamite: Beach Break 2025 Date And Location Revealed

0

Next month, AEW will bring the heat back to the Windy City when it hosts the return of AEW Beach Break.

This year’s special was confirmed on Monday, along with a date and location familiar to the AEW fan base, as it descends from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It will take place on Wednesday, May 14.

AEW Beach Break has been held annually since 2021, except in 2023. Last year, it was also held in Chicago at the Wintrust Arena.

This is a city where AEW has run countless shows, including the site of the first AEW All Out in 2019. AEW has only announced two things for this week’s show. Those bouts are an Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament semifinals with Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight.

Update On Joe Hendry Being Selected As Randy Orton’s WrestleMania Opponent

0

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry’s unexpected appearance at WrestleMania 41 as Randy Orton’s opponent was a tightly kept secret, even within TNA.

Fightful Select reported that hat by the time Kevin Owens publicly announced his injury, WWE had the wheels in motion to inquire about Hendry’s availability and have him work the match. Many in TNA were only informed of the plan on the Saturday before WrestleMania, with Hendry’s name absent from WWE’s internal run sheets.

Sports Illustrated’s Jon Alba corroborated Fightful Select’s report that WWE had approached Hendry for a recent Raw match in Glasgow. Sources confirm this was intended to be a program with The Miz. However, this potential feud was vetoed by TNA executive Ariel Shnerner, who was concerned about Hendry potentially losing to The Miz. Some within TNA speculate that this decision may have contributed to Shnerner’s termination.

Despite his WrestleMania appearance, Hendry remains under TNA contract, which is set to expire within the next year. WWE has reportedly maintained interest in Hendry, who now has an agent, and has utilized him in various matches and appearances previously.

TNA talent and staff reportedly viewed the appearance positively, considering it valuable exposure for the TNA brand.

Rhea Ripley Reveals ‘Souvenir’ Black Eye Following WrestleMania 41

0

Rhea Ripley shared a photo on Instagram revealing a black eye she sustained during her high-impact match at WrestleMania 41. Competing in the opening bout of Sunday’s card, Ripley faced Bianca Belair and defending champion Iyo Sky in a Women’s World Championship triple threat match.

Despite entering with strong momentum, Ripley did not walk away with the title. The match’s closing moments saw Belair counter Ripley’s Riptide and hit a powerful KOD slam. As Belair appeared poised for victory, Sky capitalized with her Over The Moonsault, pinning Belair to retain the championship.

Though Ripley didn’t secure the win, the match has received widespread praise from fans, with many calling it one of the best opening matches—and one of the standout women’s matches—in WrestleMania history.

Logan Paul Claims To Be The Best After WrestleMania Win

0

At WWE WrestleMania 41, Logan Paul extended his show-record to 3-1 with a win over an icon of the ring: AJ Styles. Speaking backstage after his match, Kross rejected the notion that the result would’ve been different had his friend Jeff and Karrion Kross not provided a distraction.

“I’m sorry, what? What are you saying. I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying… A win is a win.”

With another win to his name, Paul is excited for what the future brings. When asked what’s next, the former United States Champion made clear he isn’t picky when it comes to opponents.

“Whatever I want [against] whoever I want. This company knows I’m the money, this company knows I’m the best, this company knows I’m the future. I’ll answer any call, I’ll wrestle any match, anytime, anywhere, against anyone.”

Paul has been wrestling in WWE for three years and even his most ardent critics can’t ignore his in-ring ability. Whether it’s in another personal feud or pursuing a title, fans can expect big things for whatever’s next for the Maverick.

CM Punk Teases What’s Next After WrestleMania 41 Loss

0

At WWE WrestleMania 41, CM Punk’s first main eventsaw him come up short against Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match including Roman Reigns. Speaking to Daniel Cormier, Punk was asked what’s next and set his sights on the Intercontinental Championship, now held by Dominik Mysterio.

I don’t know what’s going on with me next—maybe I’ll go after Dominik Mysterio. Man, every time I see him, I still see that little 8- or 10-year-old brat, you know what I mean? I wanted to punch him in the face when he was 10—now I get to legally.

Dominik captured the gold at WrestleMania 41: Night Two, winning the title in a fatal four-way that included Bron Breakker, Penta, and Dom’s Judgment Day ally Finn Balor. Despite being a heel and loathed among fans for years, Mysterio got loud cheers inside Allegiant Stadium as fans recognized and appreciated his in-ring work and character development.

Punk knows what it’s like to be Intercontinental Champion, having held the title in late 2008 and early 2009. Now, Punk may be on the road back to the gold, teaching Dominik Mysterio that winning a title and keeping it are two very different things.

John Cena Reveals One Final Goal After WWE Title Win

0

John Cena has won the Undisputed WWE Championship, fulfilling part of his ploy to ruin wrestling for the fans. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Cena questioned why so many believe he should rise above the hate that countless fans have shown him for years.

“So it’s okay for a group of people to have a negative reaction towards me, and I’m supposed to ‘You’re entitled to do what you want.’ But if I’m not feeling well, if I’m having a bad day, if for a second I’m feeling grump and I don’t want to deal with that BS, I can’t do that? I can’t tell you how I feel? That’s not a functional relationship. That’s not good.”

McAfee agreed with Cena, describing this dynamic as “toxic,” a term Cena has used on WWE programming. Though his days in the ring are numbered, Cena shared that he has one final goal before he calls it a career.

“If I’ve got one more thing to do before I go out, it’s teach these people what a functional relationship is, because they don’t know.”

Cena will finish his in-ring career this year and has vowed to retire as Undisputed WWE Champion. If successful, WWE will be forced to create a “toy” in Cena’s words for talent to fight over, one without the rich history of the genuine WWE Championship.

John Cena On Heel Turn: A Legitimate Chance to Write History

0

John Cena stunned fans at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto when he turned heel and assaulted Cody Rhodes. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show following his WrestleMania victory, Cena reflected on embracing a new role this close to his retirement, a turn that few, if anyone, saw coming.

“I’ve got a legitimate chance to write history. So I don’t care what anyone else thinks about my choices at the current time. I’m going to do finally what I want to do for me.”

Cena has wasted no time in making history as he captured a record-breaking 17th WWE World Championship at WrestleMania 41: Sunday. Cena ended the 378-day reign of Cody Rhodes and has been endorsed by the man who’s record he broke, Ric Flair.

John Cena will be a part of tonight’s Raw where fans hope he will address his title win and potentially the nature of his relationship with The Rock. But with Cena vowing to ruin wrestling for fans, it remains to be seen what the new Undisputed WWE Champion will have to say.

‘WWE: Unreal’ Trailer for Upcoming Netflix Reality Series

0

WWE and Netflix are teaming up for a new docuseries released this summer, looking at the makings of the WWE creative process and crafting 2025’s top storylines.

The first trailer for “WWE: Unreal,” a 10-part documentary, was released on Monday. As Triple H described it, the docuseries will “Lift the curtain” and provide a look at the “Calculated, coordinated production” that is WWE. The trailer shows documentary clips from earlier this year, including the Royal Rumble and early episodes of Raw on Netflix.

The show, which will total just over eight hours, will be made in collaboration with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, which also produces the Stephanie McMahon ESPN+ series “Stephanie’s Places.” NFL Films and Skydance Sports are also credited with the show, alongside WWE.

Although an official release date has yet to be announced, it can be expected sometime in the coming months. Check out the trailer here:

WWE has a 10-year deal worth $5 billion with Netflix to air Monday Night Raw. In January, it was announced that Netflix would become the home for all WWE shows, including SmackDown and NXT, outside of the US. Netflix also has international rights to WWE PLEs.  Netflix also has the rights to the WWE tape library, which airs for international viewers.

Randy Orton: The People Love Joe Hendry

0

Following his unexpected match against TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry at WWE WrestleMania 41 – Night 2, Randy Orton spoke with Cathy Kelley in a WWE digital exclusive, expressing his satisfaction with his mystery opponent.

“But me not knowing who my opponent was going to be, all those nerves were gone, and I was able to soak up all that energy. Got to say a little something, get everybody ready for the fact that we don’t know who’s about to step through that curtain. I couldn’t be more happy with who my opponent ended up being,” Orton stated.

Orton was slated to work with Kevin Owens at the event. However, a neck injury that is expected to need surgery to fix sidelined Owens and pulled him from the match.

“Now, when I first heard the music, and I first saw who it was, I wasn’t quite sure how it was going to feel about it, but then I heard the people’s reaction to this guy, and they love him,” Orton continued, acknowledging the crowd’s response to Hendry.

He alluded to doing Hendry’s spin around more often, “Now, I had to hit a couple of RKOs, as per the usual, but then I did my own little version of the Hendry spin around. I don’t know what he calls it, but I’ll tell you what, I might have to steal that for next week. Maybe, we’ll see when we get there. You’re going to have to wait. If I do it again, it will be on SmackDown, or maybe Monday Night Raw.”

Drew McIntyre: WrestleMania 40 & 41 Are ‘Night And Day’

0

At WrestleMania 41: Sunday, Drew McIntyre got revenge on the man who took the World Heavyweight Title from him last year, Damian Priest. Speaking after his victory in the Sin City Street Fight, McIntyre was asked to compare this year’s event to 12 months ago.

“It’s night and day, obviously, when Drew McIntyre is not getting screwed over like last year by two separate people [Priest and CM Punk]… I’m on an adrenaline high right now.”

Like last year, McIntyre took a moment during his match to fire off a post on X, declaring that he is “Still bored at work lol.” Like last year, the post has gone viral on the platform, though McIntyre explained that both posts were in the spur of the moment.

“I never know if those moments are gonna happen. I get a few people I trust, I run stuff by, and then I leave it up in the air and if it organically happens, it happens.”

McIntyre went through a “war” and “hell” thanks to Priest, but ultimately it was the Scottish Warrior who stood tall inside Allegiant Stadium. It’s unclear what’s next for Drew McIntyre but fans can expect to see plenty of the Scotsman in the ring and online.

Jade Cargill Reflects on WWE Growth: ‘I’ve Grown So Much Being Here’

0

Before stepping onto the WrestleMania 41 stage, Jade Cargill opened up about her WWE journey in a candid interview with SHAK Wrestling, offering rare insight into her development behind the scenes. Though fans have now seen her in-ring progress firsthand, Cargill’s comments before the match make clear how far she’s come—and where she’s headed.

“I’ve grown so much being here,” she said, pointing to the unique training opportunities WWE has offered. “Going to Japan, Germany…

working with different styles under one roof.” For Cargill, who was known more for her presence than polish early in her career, that global exposure has been transformative.

Becoming a Well-Rounded Performer

Cargill credited key WWE trainers, including Matt Bloom and Terry Taylor, as well as her time working alongside NXT talent.

“They legit are in there working their tails off,” she shared. “It made me want to work just as hard.”

Those insights came ahead of her emotionally charged WrestleMania showdown with Naomi—an intense match built not around titles or stipulations, but personal history. Still, the storyline spotlight didn’t overshadow Cargill’s deeper focus: becoming a more complete performer.

“I know what works and what doesn’t,” she added, reflecting on how WWE’s structured environment helped her find clarity in her approach.

Now, with her WrestleMania moment behind her, Cargill’s words resonate more than ever. Her journey in WWE isn’t about proving something to others—it’s about evolving, adapting, and continuing to grow.
