TNA Signee Maggie Lee Wrestles With Impostor Syndrome

0

Maggie Lee, the rising wrestling talent and former college volleyball standout, has officially signed with TNA Wrestling—marking a major milestone just under three years into her professional wrestling journey. Speaking on The Battleground Podcast, Lee shared the emotional whirlwind of putting pen to paper.

“Well I was super excited obviously,” she said. “But also, just being like only two years in—and like, well, going on my third—I definitely am like having some imposter syndrome.”

The Iowa-born athlete, who trained at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy under Seth Rollins, acknowledged the surreal pace of her ascent. Despite feeling the weight of the moment, Lee emphasized her eagerness to grow within TNA’s storied Knockouts Division.

“Obviously yeah, I’m super excited. I’m super excited to learn there and everything. I think it will be very good for me.”

Known for her unique look and versatile in-ring style, Lee believes she brings something fresh to the roster.

“I think I add something different… I’m super tall, I’m super thin, my hair is red and curly. I just think that I offer a very unique look,” she added.

As she steps into the national spotlight, Lee says she’s not content with just being part of the roster—she’s aiming for it all.

“I want to do everything. I want to have the tag titles, I want to have all of them.”

With confidence growing and opportunities opening, Maggie Lee’s TNA journey is just getting started.

Maggie Lee Joins TNA, Faces Kelsey Heather in Debut

0

TNA Wrestling has announced the signing of Maggie Lee, a rising talent in the professional wrestling scene.

Lee is known for her versatility and skill, having competed in various independent promotions, including DREAMWAVE Wrestling, where she has held the women’s title.

Maggie Lee is set to make her TNA debut against Kelsey Heather on this week’s episode of Xplosion. The match will be available exclusively for TNA+ subscribers on Friday, with a free release on YouTube the following Tuesday.

TNA Women’s Division

The TNA women’s division has recently experienced significant changes. As Tessa Blanchard’s controversial return to TNA Wrestling in late 2024, coinciding with Jordynne Grace’s emotional farewell at TNA Genesis 2025, marked a turning point for the Knockouts division. While Blanchard’s comeback drew criticism due to unresolved allegations from her past, her feud with Grace—who exited the promotion after her contract ended and later signed with WWE—was positioned as a major storyline shift.

Grace’s departure, influenced by the exit of longtime TNA figure Scott D’Amore, opened space in the division as Masha Slamovich continues her championship reign. With new talents like Maggie Lee entering the scene, TNA is actively reshaping its women’s division.

Kevin Owens Justifies Travis Scott Injuring Cody Rhodes: ‘He Had It Coming’

0

Kevin Owens had no sympathy for Cody Rhodes following his recent altercation with Travis Scott—and even less hesitation in publicly endorsing the rapper’s strike.

Appearing on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Owens offered full-throated support for Scott’s viral moment.

“I don’t really know what else you could expect from Travis Scott,” he said. “He did what he knows how to do—he punched a guy right in the face. Personally, I think it was fantastic. Well deserved.”

Asked if there was any lingering resentment behind the reaction, Owens made his reasoning clear.

“Cody had it coming,” he laughed. “If only for the pyro. The selfishness of the pyro. But then all the other stuff too.”

The approval wasn’t entirely random—Owens revealed he had an unexpected history with the artist. Months before Scott’s WWE cameo, Owens attended one of his concerts with his son, not knowing who Scott even was.

“I had never heard of Travis Scott,” Owens admitted. “But I went to the concert, and it was a great time. He singled me out in the crowd—he didn’t know who I was—but he kept telling people to put their middle fingers in the air. I was just sitting there like, ‘I’m 40 years old, I’m not doing that.’ But he made me stand up and do it.”

From crowd antics to in-ring chaos, the KO-Travis crossover feels strangely fated. And in Owens’ book, it’s a full-circle moment—one that ends with a satisfying punch.

“Travis Scott has my seal of approval,” Owens said. Cody, beware.

‘Cody Needs All The Pyro’: Kevin Owens Rips ‘Selfish’ WWE Champion

0

Kevin Owens is still waiting for his moment in the pyro spotlight—and he’s laying the blame squarely on one man: Cody Rhodes.

In a recent appearance on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Owens joked that Rhodes’ entrance pyro is so over-the-top, it monopolizes the entire WWE fireworks budget.

“He’s very selfish,” Owens said. “I think the fact that he blows about three-quarters of the WWE pyro budget every year keeps a lot of people from getting to have pyro for their entrances.”

Owens has long wanted a fiery spectacle of his own. His idea? Something uniquely fitting his persona.

“I requested for years to have pyro added to my entrance,” he shared. “You remember Psycho Sid used to have the pyro where it would say his name in the ring? I wanted the same thing, but instead of my name, I just wanted it to say ‘Balls’ with a Z at the end. And they just won’t do it.”

Instead, he says WWE has told him bluntly:

“Cody needs all the pyro.”

While the rant is clearly delivered with comedic flair, it reflects the genuine behind-the-scenes culture where production choices—especially high-budget ones like pyrotechnics—can create unexpected rivalries, even among top-tier stars.

Owens, never one to shy away from humor or honesty, added a final dig at Rhodes:

“I think there’s three pyro explosions in his entrance. If we’re lucky. Might be more if it’s an extended theme.”

WrestleMania 41 is just weeks away in Las Vegas, but the fireworks—literal and verbal—may have already started.

RVD Turned Off by Jon Moxley Spiked Bat Spot: ‘Not My Thing’

0

Jon Moxley’s penchant for violent in-ring encounters reached a new apex on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, sparking a wave of diverse reactions from viewers. The pivotal moment involved Adam Copeland suplexing Moxley onto a spiked bat, which became gruesomely lodged in his back.

This extreme display of violence polarized the audience, with some commending its originality and others deeming it excessively brutal.

Despite the shocking nature of the impalement, Moxley ultimately emerged victorious in the Street Fight against Copeland. This victory has set the stage for his upcoming title defense against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty. However, the controversial spot has also garnered commentary from within the wrestling community.

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam, during an episode of his podcast “1 Of A Kind,” offered his candid perspective on the incident. Van Dam expressed that the level of violence displayed was not to his liking, and went as far as to say that it made him question his association with AEW. This statement highlights the intensity of the moment and the varying degrees of acceptance within the wrestling world regarding such extreme displays.

“It’s not my thing, not my kind of thing,” Van Dam said. “That’s not wrestling to me. But obviously that is sacrificing a lot for the business, I mean that could be said about it. But the more AEW has been doing stuff like that, the more personally I feel like I would rather be associated with WWE than AEW.

“Like a couple years ago it was like, ‘Man they’re growing, they’re trying things to get up there.’ And then there’s a feel that like the inmates are running the prison. Which there always has been, for better or worse. I mean that was used as a good point at first. ‘Hey, the boys are running it, cool.’ But for me this serves as an example of why that might not be a good idea but it is a style of wrestling I personally look at it as being lower than the standard, substandard because it’s going to draw only a certain niche crowd that’s into that kind of stuff.”

“Congratulations to pulling off a crazy stunt, death defying stunt for better or worse, you know?” Van Dam said.

Hulk Hogan Endorses The Rock for President: ‘He’d Probably Win’

0

Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan believes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has what it takes to become President of the United States.

In a new interview with Scott Johnson for News4JAX’s Going Ringside, Hogan didn’t hesitate when asked if the former WWE superstar turned Hollywood megastar should make a run for the White House.

“If he ran, he’d probably win,” Hogan said. “He’s got a great following… he’s got a built-in audience that’s been with him for over 20 years.”

Hogan credited Johnson with redefining the ceiling for wrestlers in entertainment, noting how his own early foray into movies paved the way.

“I kind of cracked the door open in Hollywood and he kicked it off its hinges,” Hogan added. “If he ran… he’d make a great president.”

Speculation around Johnson’s political ambitions has surfaced periodically in recent years, especially given his massive fan base, centrist appeal, and outsider persona.

The comment also comes amid increased crossovers between pop culture and politics, with figures like Donald Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura, Linda McMahon and Kane (Glenn Jacobs) blurring traditional boundaries.

The “Final Boss” doesn’t appear to be announcing a political career in the immediate future, but Hulk Hogan’s comments serve as a reminder that in 2025, the idea of a wrestler-president no longer seems so far-fetched.

Cedric Alexander Received Death Threats Over Viral Wrestling Moment

0

Cedric Alexander has recalled getting death threats over a viral wrestling moment.

The Cruiserweight star spoke to Chris Van Vliet for his first post-WWE interview. He discussed things such as his first reaction to his release from the company, possible AEW signing, and more.

During the interview, Cedric also talked about his finishing move, the Lumbar Check. Alexander recalled using the move on Candice LeRae during an indie show before either of them were signed to WWE. According to him LeRae sold the move so well that he actually received death threats over it when the moment went viral:

“The moment I got her up and threw in the air, if you’ve watched the viral clip of it. You hear someone go, ‘Oh no’, bang, and she flies over my head by the rope. And I’m like, I just killed Candice. All right, moving on to the next part.

And then I wake up the next morning. It’s viral on Twitter and millions and millions of views, I got death threats. Yeah, people thought I killed Candice. People legit thought I killed Candice.”

Cedric Alexander had multiple encounters with Candice LeRae in the independent circuit before their WWE signing. The match he’s talking about took place at the AIW Absolution X event in July 2015, where both the wrestling veterans competed in a Six Way Scramble for the promotion.

Apart from this, the former Cruiserweight Champion revealed the origin of the Lumber Check. He noted that the move was inspired by lumbar intrusion used by the Sub-Zero character in Mortal Kombat. According to Alexander, he came up with the name while brainstorming for ideas with his wife Big Swole.

TNA Icon James Storm Reacts to WWE Acquisition Speculation

0

Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion James Storm has voiced his support for the collaborative efforts between WWE and TNA Wrestling, emphasizing the benefits for TNA’s exposure.

In a recent interview with Ben Veal of Wrestling Life, Storm highlighted that TNA’s limited accessibility in certain regions could be alleviated through this partnership, attracting a broader audience to the promotion and its roster.?

“I think it’s great, especially for all the guys and girls that are with TNA at the moment because—TNA is hard to find over here, you have to have a certain subscription and everything, so I think this is going to help draw way more eyeballs to TNA, which is really good for these guys and girls.”?

WWE Buying TNA

When questioned about the possibility of WWE acquiring TNA, Storm acknowledged the circulating theories, suggesting that WWE might be interested in TNA’s extensive video library. This archive includes early matches of several current WWE stars such as AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, and Samoa Joe.?

“You know, that’s the theory going around, is this is kind of a toe in the water [situation] to see how it can go and stuff.

I’m sure WWE would love to buy TNA just for the library; you can have all the guys when they were in their prime with AJ and Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe.

You know, you have all these guys that were in the WWE now they can show on the library, especially being on Netflix as well now.”?

WWE-TNA Partnership

The partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling was officially announced on January 16, 2025, establishing a multi-year agreement aimed at creating unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming.

The collaboration allows talent to gain additional exposure across key WWE and TNA shows, including weekly flagship programs such as NXT and TNA iMPACT!, as well as select WWE Premium Live Events and TNA pay-per-views.

Gail Kim: Jim Ross Advises Tony Khan to ‘Go For It’ and Sign Her to AEW

0

Legendary wrestling commentator Jim Ross has voiced strong support for Gail Kim following her unexpected departure from TNA Wrestling this week. On the March 27 episode of Grilling JR, Ross reacted to reports that the longtime Knockouts agent and former in-ring star was released as part of widespread TNA cost-cutting.

“She should not be unemployed long in my world,” Ross declared. “I would endorse that. If Tony Khan asked me my thoughts on the matter, I would suggest—go for it.”

Gail Kim has been widely praised across the wrestling industry not only for her trailblazing in-ring career, but also for her behind-the-scenes work mentoring female talent.

“I have great respect for Gail Kim,” JR added. “Her reputation speaks for itself. She gets results. She’s very good at working with talent.”

Ross’s comments come amid industry speculation that TNA’s recent cuts—including the loss of high-profile executives and backstage names—could signal a coming sale or major restructuring. Kim, a former WWE and TNA Women’s Champion, had previously been outspoken about never wanting to return to WWE under Vince McMahon’s regime, but that landscape has changed under Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s leadership.

“If she ends up in AEW, it would be a home run,” Ross said.

Cedric Alexander Reveals Immediate Reaction To WWE Release

0

Cedric Alexander has revealed his first thoughts on his WWE release.

The former Cruiserweight Champion recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about things such as potentially joining the Hurt Syndicate in AEW, his relationship with Triple H and more.

During the interview, Alexander also discussed how he was not surprised when the call for his release came in last month. According to him, he kept his mindset positive, looking at it as a loss of job but not as a loss of his career:

“So I immediately thought to myself when I was released, I was like, Okay, that’s a job. Wrestling is my career. I may be out of a job, but I still have a career.”

You Just Move On: Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander also recalled how fellow WWE alumni Mustafa Ali helped keep him positive. Ali, who had a similar journey in WWE before his 2023 release, has become an independent wrestling sensation since then.

The former Hurt Business member revealed that Ali called him as soon as he heard the news, giving him advice for post-WWE career:

“All thanks to [Mustafa] Ali, he’s one of the guys that called me within the hour of me being released and was immediately like, hey dude, it’s all good. Just being super positive as you know Ali is, but yeah man, it sucked because it’s a dream job.

It’s one of those jobs that I’m a kid and I’m like oh my god, I’m gonna wrestle for WWE. Then when it ends, it just ends. You just move on.”

The former champion noted that he expected himself to be angry upon his release, but he actually felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

Baron Corbin Divulges Conspiracy Behind WWE Release

0

Baron Corbin believes his WWE release was premeditated.

The former US Champion was one of the most shocking WWE departures of 2024. After his exit from the company, the wrestling veteran has suggested multiple times that someone high up in the company did not want him to be part of the roster.

The former WWE star who goes by the ring name Bishop Dyer now, once again talked about the issue in a new interview with Ariel Helwani. While Corbin did not reveal the name of the person, he suggested that his 2023 NXT run was arranged by them. The 40-year-old explained that they were hoping to create a situation to get rid of him but his success in the development brand foiled their plans:

“They have a good amount of power and I just don’t…..for some reason they’re not a fan of me or what I do. They were part of the thing that pushed me to go down to NXT and do some matches which I think was kind of like ‘I will put them down there for a little bit. He’ll complain or he’ll do something and it won’t work and then that gives us a reason.’

Then when I went down there and just killed it and caught on fire and became a baby face for the first time in my career and the audiences were behind me and they loved the wolf dog stuff. They couldn’t deny that it wasn’t working.”

If You Have One Persson: Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin revealed that he’s talked to several people who have confirmed that the one person was against him. Per the former champion, they didn’t give up on trying to sabotage his career even after the failed NXT attempt. Corbin suggested that they made efforts to keep him off TV after he returned to main roster, ultimately leading to his release from the company:

“So then when I got back up to the main roster that person had power again. I think that I got shelved and then…Anybody it doesn’t matter who it is. If you have one person that’s kind of that guy that’s always like ‘Uh, not for him. Let’s not use him for that. He’s not working.’ Then other people are like ‘Oh well, I’m not going to pitch ideas for that person because this guy’s going to shoot it down’ stuff like that.”

The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel will host themed ceremonies as part of their ‘Love SmackDown‘ package in April 2025. In a TikTok video, it was teased that attendees will be able to step into the ring before saying “I do.” In the comments, the package proved popular, with one commentator interested in the package noting that “I have less than a month to find a husband.”

The Love SmackDown package is just one unique way to get mrried at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. Other themed ceremonies include IPs such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Spider-Man. An Elvis impersonator is also available at the Viva Las Vegas chapel to give couples the authentic Vegas wedding experience.

Adam Copeland Responds To Criticism Of His Unexpected Strong Booking

0

Adam Copeland has defended himself against the criticism of his boking.

The AEW star recently had an interview with TVInsider. He talked about things like a possible AEW role for his wife Beth Phoenix, balancing his acting career with wrestling and more.

The company has been teasing some tensions between Dax Harwood and Cope in recent weeks, indicating a potential heel turn for FTR. When asked how he expects the story to progress and where he might end up, the former World Champion claimed that it’s not really his decision:

“I don’t factor in where I end up. I always say, “Where do you need me? You want me to go in this direction? Cool, I’ll start putting together some ideas.” It’s a collaborative effort, but I really enjoy that. I enjoy piecing together stories.”

We Don’t Come Up With The Finishes: Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland has been criticized recently for not putting talents over. The former WWE star has won 30 out of his 40 singles matches since his 2020 in-ring return. After the Revolution 2025 main event ended with Mox choking Christian Cage out, a lot of people pointed out how the Rated R Superstar rarely seems to be the one taking the pin, even in bouts he doesn’t win.

The Attitude Era star seemingly reacted to these recent observations from fans saying that he doesn’t really come up with the finish to his bouts:

“Contrary to popular belief, we don’t come up with the finishes. I always just ask where do you need me? Point me in whatever direction you need me, and I’ll get to work.”

The 51-year-old also talked about his Emmy nomination for his role in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson. Cope explained that him being put into the world title picture immediately upon his return to AEW programming was a way to capitalize on the buzz created with his acting achievements.

Seth Rollins Credits Hall of Famer For Birth of His Daughter

0

Seth Rollins has revealed how Stone Cold Steve Austin influenced the birth of his daughter.

The Architect started dating fellow wrestling star Becky Lynch, real name Rebecca Quin back in 2019. Becky gave birth to their daughter Roux in December 2020.

Rollins played the ‘Name the Face’ game during his latest appearance on Good Morning Football where he correctly identified the Texas Rattlesnake. When asked to tell a story about the WWE Hall of Famer, Seth recalled his wife getting to share a moment with Steve Austin during the 3:16 Raw in 2020:

“Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. All right, flashback. In March 2020, everybody knows COVID shuts down the world, right? First show in WWE, post-COVID, post-shutdown, 3:16 Raw.

Customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring. At the time, hottest thing in professional wrestling, my lovely incredible wife, The Man, Becky Lynch.”

If It Wasn’t For Steve Austin: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins then joked that Becky decided that it was time to have the baby after that segment and he doesn’t know if that would have been the case without the former world champion’s TV appearance:

“She happened to break open one, two, three, four cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of Raw. That night, she was like, ‘You know what? I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’

Don’t know if she’d make that decision if it wasn’t for Stone Cold Steve Austin. So absolutely. Hell, yeah. Slam them back. Thanks, Steve. You’re the man.”

The former Shield member also recently talked about his daughter’s love for Moana and gave his opinion on The Rock as his boss. You can check out his comments on the matter here.

Update On Britt Baker’s AEW Status Following Recent Move

0

Britt Baker won’t be leaving AEW anytime soon, at least without the permission of Tony Khan.

All Elite Wrestling has seen a number of big departures over the last few months. Names such as Penta, Rey Fenix, and Malakai Black have left the promotion and only yesterday Saraya confirmed that she is also done with the company for now.

So when Britt Baker seemingly removed all AEW references from her social media profiles, many people wondered if she’s the next talent on her way out of the organization.

A new report from Fightful Select, however, suggests that leaving the company will not be easy for the former Women’s Champion. According to them, Baker is still under contract with the company and her deal is not set to expire anytime soon.

Britt Baker has not wrestled for AEW in 2025. Her last match came at the November 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite, where the former champion defeated Penelope Ford.

Reports have painted Baker as someone who is hard to work with, and her absence has been attributed to Tony Khan being frustrated with the female star.

This doesn’t necessarily mean Britt can’t be brought back somewhere down the line but her latest move does make it seem like she is beginning to distance herself from the company instead of trying to mend fences.

Ricochet Announces Wedding With Samantha Irvin

0

AEW star Ricochet missed this week’s episode of Dynamite for a good reason.

International Champion Kenny Omega picked up a victory over Blake Christian in the opening match of this week’s episode of the Wednesday night show.

Omega cut a promo following his victory before “Speedball” Mike Bailey came out. Bailey told Omega that he respects the current champion but won’t be pulling any punches when the two meet in the ring.

The One and Only then appeared on the big screen in a white suit. Ricochet said that he’d love to be there in person, but today is his wedding day, and he’s dressed for the best day of his life. This is, until the April 6 Dynasty event when he beats both Bailey and Omega in a triple threat for the International title:

Ricochet officially confirmed his relationship with former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin back in 2021. The two got engaged in January 2023, while still under contract for the Endeavor owned promotion.

Both the wrestling names have since left the company. Ricochet previously claimed that Irvin wouldn’t be joining AEW, but the former ring announcer herself has said that she would definitely be back in wrestling at some point, potentially in a different role than last time.

SEScoops would like to congratulate Ricochet and Samantha on their wedding.

The event will be held at the Pearl at the Palms and will be available via TrillerTV.

Stevie Turner Appointed as WWE Evolve General Manager

0

In a significant development for WWE’s developmental brand, WWE Evolve introduced Stevie Turner as its new General Manager during tonight’s March 26 episode. Turner, who previously served as assistant to NXT General Manager Ava, brings experience from her tenure in NXT UK and NXT.

The announcement came during a Town Hall meeting where Turner was officially confirmed as the new General Manager. She had been working on behalf of Ava over the past few weeks, impressing with her match pitches and talent acquisition.

Upon receiving the position, Turner expressed that she was honored and grateful for the trust Ava had shown in her.

The 28-year-old Turner competed on the UK independent circuit as Bobbi Tyler from 2016 to 2020. She signed with WWE in March 2021, debuting on NXT UK before transitioning to NXT in January 2023. She was appointed as an Assistant General Manager of NXT in June 2024, alongside Robert Stone.

WWE Evolve serves as a platform for emerging talents, featuring wrestlers from WWE’s Performance Center and ID program. The brand is overseen by WWE Senior VP of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels and is run by Gabe Sapolsky, the founder of the original EVOLVE promotion that WWE acquired in 2020.

Swerve Strickland Drops 2016 WWE Callback on AEW Dynamite

0

On the March 26, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland took aim at Jon Moxley in a heated promo, questioning the AEW World Champion’s authenticity.

Strickland added, “Have fun continuing to play Jon Moxley on TV,” a pointed remark that carried added weight for longtime fans.

The line directly echoed a 2016 WWE Raw promo where Moxley, then performing as Dean Ambrose, delivered a similar insult to John Cena: “Have fun being the guy that plays John Cena on TV.

Strickland’s use of the same phrase flipped the narrative, turning Moxley’s old words back on him.

The segment stood out as another example of AEW’s ongoing use of layered storytelling, rewarding fans who recognize callbacks and long-running character arcs.

Ex-WWE Wrestler Von Wagner Resurfaces in AEW

0

Former WWE talent Von Wagner, now competing under his real name Cal Bloom, made his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) debut in a non-wrestling capacity. Bloom appeared as part of the security team during a brawl between AEW wrestlers Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Following his WWE release in April 2024, Bloom returned to in-ring action on March 15, 2025, at Midwest All-Star Wrestling’s “Mayhem at the Mall” event in Maplewood, Minnesota, facing Shay Diesel. This marked his first match since departing WWE.

Cal Bloom, son of former WWE wrestler Wayne Bloom, was part of WWE from 2019 until his release in 2024. Since then, he has competed under his birth name rather than his WWE ring name.

‘Pathetic’: Mandy Rose Criticizes WWE Over Double Champion Claim

0

Mandy Rose took aim at WWE in a recent social media post, calling the company “pathetic” for crediting Stephanie Vaquer as the first-ever NXT Women’s double champion. The reaction came after a viral post pointed out Rose’s past title win, suggesting WWE had ignored her accomplishments.

In the now-viral meme, Rose is shown holding the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Championships, with text criticizing WWE’s recognition of Vaquer. A fan’s caption insisted Rose was the original double champion, not Vaquer, prompting Rose to respond: “Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!”

However, added context from community notes clarified the distinction. Rose won the NXT UK Women’s Title in a unification match, which merged it with the NXT Women’s Title, effectively retiring the UK belt immediately. This means she was not a dual champion at the time—she held one unified title.

In contrast, Stephanie Vaquer currently holds both the NXT Women’s and NXT North American Championships as separate, active titles. She defends each independently, making her the official and historically accurate first women’s double champion in NXT history.

While Rose’s accomplishments remain notable, the technicality of title unification versus active dual reigns sets a clear distinction in record books.
