Miro, formerly known as Rusev in WWE, has officially re-signed with the company, according to PWInsider. The former United States Champion was reportedly at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut for most of the day.
Multiple sources confirmed his presence at the facility, with indications that the visit was part of setting up his return to WWE programming.
Although the timeline for his on-screen comeback remains unclear, his re-entry into the WWE fold appears to be underway.
Micro’s wife CJ Perry, best known to WWE fans as Lana, did not accompany him during the visit.
When Paul Heyman cuts a promo on WWE TV, it’s pure cinema in the eyes of countless pro wrestling fans. Now, the WWE Hall of Famer has opened up on how an iconic film helped craft one of of his most iconic promos from 2014.
Heyman was given a tall-order during the March 3, 2014, edition of WWE Raw. Mere weeks after CM Punk walked out of the company, Heyman would have to speak to the crowd in Chicago, not about Punk, but about Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate was in the midst of a feud with The Undertaker, one that’d culminate with Brock’s victory at WrestleMania 30.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso, Heyman recalled the promo coming at a “very unique period of time” for himself and WWE. Heyman explained how 1987’s The Untouchables helped put him in the right frame of mind.
“One of the villains in the movie kills one of ‘The Untouchables’ and writes ‘Touchable’ in blood on the elevator wall. It was such a dramatic turning point in the movie.”
Heyman explained that he wanted to pull off an effective, WrestleMania-building promo, despite the hostile reception from the Chicago crowd. While everyone in attendance wanted to hear him give details about Punk and possibly reveal a return date, focusing on Lesnar and the Phenom still engaged the fans.”
“I never saw the situation in Chicago as unwinnable. I looked at it as a magnificent opportunity to promote Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker.”
Heyman, who sat cross-legged in the ring, made references to Punk in passing during the promo. He argued that Punk would’ve ended the Streak a year earlier had he listened more to him and less to his massive fanbase. Heyman’s character ultimately blamed the fans for pushing Punk away from himself and WWE and vowed to punish the fans by taking the Streak away.
“It sounds so f***ing convoluted, but when you put it in front of yourself, with that audience that night in that moment, it all made sense.”
This wouldn’t be the last time Heyman’s movie love helped shape his WWE craft. Speaking recently to the Hollywood Reporter, Heyman revealed how he had Roman Reigns study Apocalypse Now and Marlon Brando’s portrayal as Colonel Kurtz to create the Tribal Chief.
With Heyman still a fixture of WWE TV, aligned with both Reigns and Heyman, his enduring impact on the industry at the highest levels are apparent.
Starrcast is set to return to the United States for the first time in two years, scheduled to coincide with AEW’s All In: Texas weekend. The wrestling convention will take place Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel, near Globe Life Field.
Starrcast organizer Conrad Thompson tells the Dallas Morning News, “This will be the first one that we’ve done in America in two years, and I’m looking forward to it.”
Originally created to support the inaugural All In in 2018, Starrcast now rejoins the event as it returns stateside.
“The idea that Starrcast was created to support the very first ‘All In,’ and now, seven years later, ‘All In’ is back in America, I jumped at a chance to have Starrcast make it an even bigger week,” Thompson said.
The two-day convention will feature meet-and-greets with AEW stars, appearances from wrestling legends, panel discussions, and exclusive fan experiences. According to Thompson, the event will offer “really unique autograph opportunities and photo op opportunities that we’ve never really been able to offer before.”
Thompson also hinted at special moments honoring legendary careers.
“I think my calendar shows that JR has been involved in wrestling for 50 years this year, so maybe we’ll celebrate that, too. It’s going to be a fun week.”
Tickets for Starrcast go on sale April 21 at 10:00 a.m. through Starrcast.com.
AEW has officially shifted the start time of its All In: Texas pay-per-view to the afternoon on Saturday, July 12, 2025. The event will now begin at 3 PM ET (2 PM local time) in Arlington, Texas, moving away from prime time.
The change comes after WWE announced its own event, Saturday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for the same evening at 8 PM ET. AEW’s adjustment avoids direct competition, highlighting the ongoing pattern of strategic scheduling between the two wrestling promotions.
All In: Texas is AEW’s first pay-per-view in the state and will be held at Globe Life Field. Despite the scheduling shift, the company is maintaining a full week of events, including AEW Dynamite on July 9 and AEW Collision on July 10 at the Curtis Culwell Center.
Tickets are available now, with VIP packages offering ringside or lower bowl seating, AEW star meet and greets, pre-show photo ops, and other premium perks.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo says Dwayne Johnson’s lucrative five-film deal with Disney is affecting the presentation of his character in WWE.
On Sportskeeda’sWrestling Outlaws, Russo claimed The Rock intentionally distanced himself from his “Final Boss” persona in WWE cannon to stay in line with the Mouse. According to Russo, The Rock told TKO executives, including CEO Ari Emanuel, “Guys, I’ve got a five-picture deal with Disney. So I am going to make it clear to the fan base that I am just an actor. I am just playing a character.”
The Rock Draws The Line
This statement allegedly preceded the media scrum that took place after Elimination Chamber, where The Rock broke kayfabe and clarified to fans:
“The Final Boss is a character. It’s a performance.”
Russo suggests the move was strategic, aimed at protecting both The Rock’s public image and financial interests. Full-time wrestling could pose risks—physical injury, conflicting schedules, or public controversies—that might conflict with Disney’s family-friendly brand and contractual expectations.
“Rock’s trying to protect all sides of his business,” Russo explained. “There’s no kayfabe anymore… it doesn’t matter to the fans today.”
While The Rock’s in-ring persona is that of a ruthless heel, his Hollywood obligations may require clear boundaries between character and reality.
If true, The Rock’s kayfabe break wasn’t a misstep—it was a calculated move to keep Disney happy while maintaining his WWE presence.
Paul Heyman recently recalled cutting a promo in 2014 in Chicago, the hometown of CM Punk. It came after Punk’s departure from the company following Royal Rumble that year. Punk’s future in pro wrestling was up in the air and Paul Heyman had to deal with the hostile Chicago crowd as he came out to Punk’s music on the March 3rd edition of WWE Raw in 2014. Well, Heyman revealed that he drew inspiration from ‘The Untouchables’, the popular film from 1987 that revolves around Chicago gangster, Al Capone.
During an interview with Undisputed’s Justin Barrasso, Paul Heyman recalled the segment and how he managed to pull of the iconic promo. He said:
“That moment in Chicago was a very unique period of time. It came after the Royal Rumble where CM Punk had walked out, and the Chicago crowd was on fire, angry that obviously CM Punk was not going to be there. In the meantime, my appearance took on a whole new meaning because I was so closely associated with Punk. I was going to be a distraction from Brock Lesnar, and we had to get Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker on the map because we were heading straight into WrestleMania.”
Heyman continued that given the circumstances of the show, it reminded him of the movie, ‘The Untouchables.’ He said:
“In looking at the circumstance, it reminded me of The Untouchables, which was directed by Brian De Palma. Kevin Costner, who plays Eliot Ness, leads a group–they’re ‘The Untouchables’. One of the villains in the movie kills one of ‘The Untouchables’ and writes ‘Touchable’ in blood on the elevator wall. It was such a dramatic turning point in the movie.”
Dealing with Chicago crowd is not a walk in the park but Paul Heyman did not see it as an unwinnable situation in Chicago. Heyman grabbed the opportunity to promote the historical match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He managed to struck a chord with the fans and the rest is history. He said:
“I never saw the situation in Chicago as unwinnable. I looked at it as a magnificent opportunity to promote Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. I knew I could spin within my persona the fact that Punk would have beaten The Undertaker the year before had he just listened to me and ignored the love being bestowed upon him by the audience. In blaming the audience for Punk’s decision to leave, which would only have happened outside of my wisdom, I was directing my venom towards them–and I’d punish the audience by taking something away from them, which would be The Streak, and the only beast on the planet that could beat The Streak was Brock Lesnar. It sounds so fucking convoluted, but when you put it in front of yourself, with that audience that night in that moment, it all made sense.”
Paul Heyman and CM Punk have a fair share of history together in WWE. After Punk’s shocking return in 2023, he has been on quite the run. Punk and Heyman are also reunited together on-screen. Punk is finally set to live his dream of headlining WrestleMania against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. This Friday on WWE SmackDown, it all comes full circle as Paul Heyman returns to Chicago, Illinois with the hometown hero in the mix as well.
WWE is dusting off the archives with the long-awaited release of WrestleMania IX: Becoming a Spectacle, premiering Friday, April 11, exclusively on Peacock. The documentary dives deep into the chaos and charisma of WrestleMania IX, the infamous 1993 Las Vegas event known as the “World’s Largest Toga Party.”
The documentary offers never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes insights from the first WrestleMania held outdoors, staged at Caesars Palace. Viewers will get an insider look at the production challenges, outrageous set design, and memorable in-ring moments that helped shape WWE’s future.
The film features appearances from WWE legends like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Lex Luger, alongside modern stars like Kofi Kingston and Natalya. WWE and Caesars Palace executives, producers, and directors also lend their voices to offer a full-circle view of the event’s cultural and operational impact.
Timed ahead of WrestleMania 41, which returns to Las Vegas more than 30 years later, the documentary adds historical weight to this year’s festivities. WWE fans can catch WrestleMania IX: Becoming a Spectacle on April 11 and stream WrestleMania 41 live on Peacock, April 19–20.
This retrospective joins other WWE Originals on Peacock, including Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal and Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair.
Charlotte Flair is firmly in the prime of her career. Once tasked with living up to the legacy of Ric Flair, she’s long since stepped out of her father’s shadow to forge a Hall of Fame-worthy path of her own. Along the way, she’s not only become one of the most decorated women in WWE history, but has also transitioned from rising star to standard-bearer—shifting from student to teacher.
In a recent interview with Alex McCarthy for Daily Mail, Flair reflected on her pivotal matches with wrestling legends and her role in mentoring emerging talents like Tiffany Stratton. Flair drew parallels between her 2019 SummerSlam bout with Trish Stratus and her current storyline with Stratton, emphasizing the responsibility she feels in shaping the next generation of WWE superstars.
Trish Stratus
Recalling her match with Stratus, Flair shared:
“In 2019, Trish Stratus wanted to come back, and I kept thinking to myself, ‘Trish Stratus wants to come back and wrestle me.’ I have to be as good as she thinks I am; I can’t be less than. Charlotte Flair is that good that I have to come back.”
Tiffany Stratton
This sentiment resonates in her current feud with Tiffany Stratton. Flair recognizes the significance of being the benchmark for up-and-coming wrestlers:
“This is a similar situation. I am going to be as good as everyone thinks I am, and now I feel like I’m even that much better because 2024 did kick my ass and it did give me the clarity and it did like the spark like no, my career is on my time and I’m coming for everything. I’ve done my homework.”
Flair’s commitment to excellence not only cements her legacy but also sets a high standard for newcomers like Stratton, ensuring the evolution and continuity of women’s wrestling.
When wrestling legend Lex Luger collapsed in a San Francisco hotel room in 2007, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) was one of the first people on the scene—and his emotional recollection of that day is a powerful reminder of how quickly life can change.
“I ran through the door… and he’s sitting there like this in the chair. Cleaned up,” DDP recounted during a recent conversation with Eric Bischoff and Luger himself. “I give him a hug and didn’t even notice he didn’t move. It wasn’t even in my brain.”
Initially, those around Luger believed he was having a heart attack.
“The promoter calls me and says, ‘DDP, I just heard Lex had a heart attack—they had to break down his door.’” But the reality was more devastating: Luger had suffered a spinal cord injury that would leave him temporarily paralyzed from the neck down.
The journey that followed was anything but typical. The EMTs transporting Luger were wrestling fans and made a bold decision to bypass local hospitals to take him to Stanford—a world-class facility 45 minutes away.
“We might get fired,” one EMT said. “Let’s do it,” the other replied. Luger was then treated by nurses with symbolic names like Faith and Hope. “When I got to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, they put me in room 3:16,” Luger said. “I was like, ‘What are the odds of that?’”
Faced with the prognosis of lifelong paralysis, Luger leaned into his newfound faith.
“Either bring me home or teach me how,” he prayed. “I knew that whatever happened, God had me in his hand.”
For DDP, it was a full-circle moment—seeing a man transformed not just physically, but spiritually.
“He’s a different person,” DDP said. “God gave Lex a new purpose.”
Though once told he’d need 24/7 care forever, Luger has since regained partial movement and a renewed sense of mission, crediting the inspiration he found in others DDP had helped, like Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Butterbean.
“I still have a purpose,” Luger said. “I can be a light for others.”
Lex Luger: WWE Hall of Famer
Lex Luger’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame later this month is a fitting culmination of a life and career defined by resilience, transformation, and inspiration.
From his days as “The Total Package” dominating the wrestling world to his personal battles and physical challenges, Luger’s journey has been inspirational.
His ability to overcome adversity, including a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed, and his embrace of faith and purpose have made him a beacon of hope for many.
This honor not only celebrates his in-ring accomplishments—such as his iconic bodyslam of Yokozuna and being a co-winner of the 1994 Royal Rumble—but also recognizes the man he has become outside the ring. Luger’s gratitude, humility, and dedication to helping others serve as a testament to his enduring legacy.
As he takes his place among wrestling’s greatest at the Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas, it is clear that Lex Luger’s story is one of redemption, perseverance, and triumph—a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

Giulia has not appeared on WWE television since her title loss at NXT: Roadblock 2025, though she was recently spotted at a WWE live event. At the March event, Giulia dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Stephanie Vaquer, the reigning champion who just forfeited the NXT Women’s North American title.
Giulia has been at the WWE Performance Center in recent weeks, per Fightful, but has not participated in any in-ring training since her title loss. While there is speculation of a possible ankle injury, this has not been officially confirmed. WWE is said to remain hopeful about her return.
Giulia’s 2025 in NXT has marked a breakout year, firmly establishing her as one of the brand’s top stars. She captured the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT: New Year’s Evil on January 7 after defeating Roxanne Perez, becoming only the third wrestler to hold both the World of Stardom Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship—joining Asuka and IYO SKY. Her reign featured a high-profile defense at NXT Vengeance Day in February, where she retained her title in a fatal four-way against Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade.
Though her championship run ended on March 11 in a Winner Takes All match against Vaquer, Giulia’s impact on the women’s division has been undeniable. Her charisma, in-ring style, and ability to elevate talent around her have positioned her as a standout presence in NXT.

R-Truth may be known as WWE’s resident funny man, but the comedic Superstar recently fell for a practical joke from the team at WWE 2K25. For April Fool’s Day, the WWE 2K account on X claimed that a Limited Edition of the new game would feature Truth on the cover. While Truth learned that this was just a prank, that realization only came after he thought the new coer was the real deal.
While Truth doesn’t have his own limited edition of WWE 2K25, he is a part of the largest wrestling video game of all time. Truth is a veteran of WWE video games, dating all the way back to WWF Raw (2002) where he appeared as K-Kwik. Ironically, Truth’s first appearance in a WWE video game would come without him being under contract, as he was released in August 2001.
Now a fixture of WWE video games, Truth continues to entertain fans both in the ring and in the gaming world. While he isn’t following The Bloodline and The Undertaker with a limited edition of WWE 2K25, Truth continues to be a hit with fans and gamers alike.
Rhodes was pivotal in the formation of AEW, though fans often gave him a frosty reaction during his All-Elite run. Rhodes is now the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, a two-time Royal Rumble and had a brief tag-team title reign with Jey Uso in 2023.
Lexis King
The NXT Heritage Cup holder, King’s time in thhe silver brand has been a major success for him. Previously, he was Brian Pillman Jr. in AEW where he and ally Griff Garrison never won gold.
Shawn Spears
The man Ricky Saints beat to win the NXT North American Title, Spears won the gold earlier this year. In AEW, Spears received a strong start and a feud with Cody Rhodes but the momentum of the ‘Chairman’ would quickly peter out.
Jade Cargill
Cargill was pushed strong from the start of her AEW career and would become the promotion’s first TBS Champion. In WWE, Cargill is a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion and fans expect singles gold in her future in due time.
Ethan Page
Page was a fixture of AEW for years though never won gold during his time under Tony Khan. Proving that his decision to leave was the right one, Page won the NXT Championship in 2024 just 40 days after his debut in WWE.
Andrade
A name fans expected big things for in AEW, Andrade’s time with the company ended in 2023 without any gold to his name. Though the former NXT and U.S. Champion has yet to hold gold on WWE TV since returning, he has held the WWE Speed Championship.
Honorable Mention: Blair Davenport
Though she never held a championship title in WWE, Davenport won the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge in 2023. She signed with AEW in February 2019 but was released in August 2020 due to being unable to travel due to COVID-19 restrictions.
At the March 24, edition of WWE Raw in Glasgow, things turned sour after the show went off the air. One fan in attendance repeatedly grabbed at CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, making for an uncomfortable situation. After Punk made clear that this wasn’t appropriate, the fan grabbed him again. Punk allegedly warned the fan that if she tried to cross the line again “I’m going to punch you in the face.”
Footage of the incident was recorded by a photographer named Kirsten and footage of the incident quickly went viral. The fan in question has been identified as Morgan Holly Moore, an Only Fans model and content creator. On her Instagram, Moore was unfazed by the backlash to her actions inside Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena.
Walking back after WWE fans tried cancelling me ??
Morgan also took to X to explain her side of things and was far less smug about what transpired. Moore claimed that she was unaware of a ‘no-touching policy.’ She also mocked the hygenie of other fans, saying it “makes sense” that WWE talent wouldn’t want to touch fans.
I didn’t know there was a rule that you can’t put your arms around a wrestler but given a lot wrestling fans hygiene is questionable this makes sense. I apologised at the time for being too aggressive trying to do that for a pic when they came back and took photos on my phone. pic.twitter.com/vMa51da27w
Moore also questioned the uproar from other WWE fans which she finds to be hypocritical. Moore argued that fans have been selective with their outrage given that they’ll still watch Logan Paul despite the many controversies to his name. Moore also brought up WWE promoting someone “that beat up his wife,” a nod to WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
Moore’s actions at the show have sparked a conversation among fans about fans who go too far when it comes to coming close with talent. While Superstars often get up-close with fans, typicallt for photos of other post-match moments, Moore clearly crossed a line with Punk and the American Nightmare.
WWE launched on Netflix earlier this year in a blockbuster deal between the two entertainment juggernauts. While fans speculated that this would mark an end to the censorship seen on TV, that hasn’t been the case at all.
If one goes to watch WrestleMania 40’s six-team ladder match, they’ll see that some chants have not just been edited but replaced. During the match, “Holy s***” chants have been cut and replaced with piped-in chants of “This is awesome.” While the match was certainly awesome, this isn’t the chant those attending the show inside Lincoln Financial Field gave at the time.
This is the latest example of WWE content being muted on the Netflix era. Recent chants at WWE’s European events have been muted, including the “F*** you Cena” chant from recent episodes of Monday Night Raw. Over on SmackDown, a botch from Solo Sikoa which led to the former Tribal Chief dropping an F-bomb has also been cut.
WWE is letting a lot slide on TV and at PLEs, including Cody Rhodes telling The Rock to “Go f*** yourself” at Elimination Chamber: Toronto. With that in mind, it’s clear that not every comment being made, either by fans or the Superstars themselves, is going to be part of replays.
Liv Morgan isn’t laughing about her 2023 arrest, something she made very clear this week in London, England. Ahead of WWE Monday Night RAW in London, a fan attended a meet-and-greet hoping to snap a photo with Morgan. But instead of bringing merch, a championship belt, or a personalized sign, they showed up with a printed copy of her December 2023 mugshot.
TikTok user Asad shared a video of the moment, explaining what went down:
“Someone brought a Liv Morgan photo shot pic when she got arrested so they refused to take picture with them so we sang them bye.”
In the video, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio are seen waving goodbye to the fan while the rest of the crowd sings them out. Clearly, Liv, her allies, and the rest of those at the event didn’t see the funny side of the fan bringing up Morgan’s legal trouble.
Morgan was arrested in Sumter County, Florida, where she was charged with marijuana possession. Her attractive mugshot quickly went viral. Some fans praised her appearance in the photo, while others tried to capitalize on it, printing it on t-shirts and other gear. At the time, it was reported that Morgan had no heat with WWE, reflecting their changing stance on marijuana.
Morgan’s arrest did not stop her from having a career-defining 2024 with several massive wins to her name. To this day, the former Women’s World Champion remains one of WWE’s most beloved stars, but if you’re bringing up her past for laughs, don’t expect a photo op.
Ricky Saints captured the NXT North American Championship in a hard-fought victory over Shawn Spears during the April 1 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. The win marks Saints’ first title since debuting in WWE earlier this year.
The match was set following a heated exchange between the two former AEW stars on the March 25 episode. In a competitive main event that showcased both men’s in-ring strengths, Saints overcame Spears to secure the championship.
Moments after the victory, Ethan Page launched a surprise attack on the new champion. Standing tall over Saints while raising the North American Title, Page signaled himself as the first challenger of the new reign.
The crowd chanted “Tony fumbled” throughout the match—a pointed reference to AEW President Tony Khan. The phrase has become a fan-favorite chant when former AEW talents find greater success elsewhere, suggesting that Khan failed to fully utilize their potential before they departed.
The infamous Montreal Screwjob at WWE Survivor Series 1997, where Vince McMahon orchestrated a controversial ending to Bret Hart’s WWE Title match against Shawn Michaels, forever bound the two men’s legacies.
For decades, the idea of a WWE without McMahon at its helm seemed inconceivable. However, this perception was shattered in January 2024 when McMahon resigned as chairman following a lawsuit filed by former employee Janel Grant.
Grant’s allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault against McMahon sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, leading to his abrupt departure and marking a significant turning point in WWE’s history. This resignation, ending his long control of the company, and the legal battle that followed, created a new chapter for the wrestling giant.
While appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he thought there would ever be a time when Vince wasn’t running WWE
“No. I feel that, as great as he was as far as ideas and imagination…in a lot of ways there is nobody like him. At the same time, I feel that he kind of governed things in a shady way. He didn’t care necessarily about the craft. I always thought about what he did to me. I like to think that I was his greatest artist and in the end I was just another [wipes hands] ‘get rid of him. He’s done.’ As much greatness as Vince brought to wrestling, he always brought a lot of negative and corrupted thinking to it. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there is a little more integrity right now and the guys being pushed are being pushed because they’re talented and not because they are Vince’s favorites.”
McMahon’s decision to call for the bell without Hart’s knowledge or consent created a shift in professional wrestling, marking a moment of betrayal that reverberated throughout the industry. Hart’s subsequent departure for WCW further fueled the animosity between the two, solidifying the Screwjob as a defining moment in their complex relationship.
Despite the deep-seated animosity stemming from the 1997 incident, Hart and McMahon eventually reconciled, culminating in Hart’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. They later worked a match at WrestleMania 26.
The NXT Women’s North American Championship has been officially vacated, setting the stage for a high-stakes ladder match at Stand & Deliver. The announcement was made by Ava and Stephanie Vaquer at the beginning of NXT, with Ava explaining that the North American title’s prestige demands frequent defenses, a challenge given Vaquer’s dual championship status. Recognizing this, both agreed that Vaquer would relinquish the North American title, paving the way for a new champion to be crowned in a six-woman ladder match at the upcoming event.
However, Vaquer stipulated a condition for her relinquishment: the right to choose her opponent for Stand & Deliver. This twist immediately added intrigue to the situation, sparking a heated debate. Jordynne Grace emerged, making a compelling case for her inclusion in the ladder match, only to be interrupted by Jaida Parker. A verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical brawl, requiring security intervention to separate the two competitors. This unexpected turn of events amplified the tension surrounding the vacated title and the upcoming Stand & Deliver event.
Vaquer’s journey to becoming a double champion began at Roadblock last month, where she defeated Giulia to capture the NXT Women’s title. Her ability to defend both championships was tested on the previous week’s NXT show, showcasing her resilience and dominance. She successfully retained the Women’s title against Jaida Parker and then, in a hard-fought main event, defended the North American title against Fallon Henley.
The decision to vacate the North American title, coupled with Vaquer’s stipulation and the subsequent brawl between Grace and Parker, has created a compelling narrative leading into Stand & Deliver. The six-woman ladder match promises to be a chaotic and unpredictable affair, with numerous competitors vying for the vacated championship. This development has injected significant excitement into the NXT women’s division, setting the stage for a potentially historic moment at the upcoming event.
Charlotte Flair has expressed her eagerness to participate in a potential Evolution 2 event, following recent reports from WrestleVotes and PWN indicating WWE’s plans for a second all-women’s pay-per-view this summer.
In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Alex McCarthy, Flair conveyed her anticipation for the event, highlighting her desire to create another memorable match should WWE proceed with its rumored plans.
“One of my favourite matches is from the first evolution. Becky Lynch, last woman standing. One of my top three favourite matches. There’s always rumours that it’s happening, so until it happens, I can’t say yet because we don’t know. Y’all are the ones with the scoop! No, I mean, I think it’d be great if we have it. But I still think the goal is to have more main events and more storylines and so on. The magic that I created on the first one, if it comes to fruition, I look forward to creating more magic on Evolution 2.”
The first-ever Evolution event, held on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, marked a significant milestone for women’s professional wrestling. This groundbreaking pay-per-view featured a compelling lineup of matches, culminating in a headline bout between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey, solidifying its place in wrestling history. The event’s success underscored the growing prominence of women’s wrestling within WWE and the industry as a whole.
Recent reports suggest that WWE is exploring the possibility of hosting a second Evolution premium live event on July 5th at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. However, it’s important to note that these plans remain preliminary. Sources have indicated that the schedule is still subject to change, and the event is currently in the developmental phase. This uncertainty highlights the fluid nature of event planning within WWE.
John Cena has been in the headlines ever since he shocked the world when he turned heel at the WWE Elimination Chamber. Well, that wasn’t it. ‘The Leader of Cenation’ has informed fans that there’s more unpredictability on the way.
John Cena is on the quest to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship and become a 17-time champion. If he manages to defeat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, he will finally eclipse WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s record of 16 championship reigns. While fans thought they have seen everything with Cena’s heel turn, the future Hall of Famer assured that there’s more to come.
Speaking in an interview with PEOPLE, Cena hyped his match at WrestleMania 41 and assured there’s more “unpredictability” on the way. Of course, he remained tight-lipped on the plans and didn’t give any spoilers. However, he teased more surprises in the future. John Cena said :
“I’m going to say that there’s more unpredictability on the way. Here’s the stance I’m going to take on it, and I think hopefully I can put it in terms you can understand: We’re in the middle of a very riveting season of episodic television and you are kindly asking me to give you spoilers, and I can’t do that. What I did really enjoy about your question is you expressed the unpredictability of WWE programming, and I think that’s one strong point of the current state of WWE is its unpredictability in its programming.”
During the latest edition of WWE Raw, John Cena and Cody Rhodes came face to face. They had a heated battle of words and they took some personal shots at each other. The former 16-time World Champion even dropped references of Cody’s AEW career while ‘The American Nightmare’ reminded Cena of his hostile relationship with fans. The segment ended with Cody taking out Cena was Cross Rhodes.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart offered a candid, self-aware take on his own legacy during his appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.
In response to Hulk Hogan’s recent remarks questioning Hart’s self-confidence, the “Hitman” didn’t push back—instead, he subtly embraced the critique while highlighting a deeper truth.
“I heard something a few months ago where Hulk Hogan was talking about me,” Hart said. “He said the problem with Bret Hart is that he doesn’t think he was the greatest wrestler of all time. And I remember thinking about that and going, yeah, maybe… that might be the most truthful thing he’s ever said.”
But rather than comparing careers in terms of charisma or mainstream fame, Hart pointed to his technical wrestling style—and how it continues to shape the next generation of talent.
“You don’t see anybody imitating Hulk Hogan or Ultimate Warrior,” Hart said. “You see a lot of the wrestlers today really trying their best to capture my style—or some of the guys I worked with, like Dynamite Kid, Kurt Hennig, and my brother Owen.
That’s the biggest compliment I can get from today’s generation.”
As WWE honors Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin with the inaugural Immortal Moment award for their iconic WrestleMania 13 match, it’s clear his influence runs deeper than catchphrases or theatrics. It’s in the craft—and the countless wrestlers who’ve studied his every move.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious car accident. On social media, Foley shared a photo from his wrecked vehicle.
Foley’s post sparked hundreds of well-wishes from fans and those from within the wrestling industry. Joey Janela highlighted that Foley is “built different” and said he’s glad Foley is okay. Parker Boudreaux said he was “so happy you’re good,” while So CalVal advised the WWE Hall of Famer to “heal up well, legendary friend!”
Foley is no stranger to concussions and faced more than his fair share throughout his wrestling career. Though his time in the ring is over, the issues stemming from concussions prove to be an issue. Foley had intended to wrestle one final death match for her 60th birthday but canceled all plans after experiencing concussion-like symptoms.
We here at SEScoops are sending our best to Mick Foley at this time.
