Max Caster Is Done With Rapping, Doesn’t Want To Get AEW Canceled

0

Max Caster’s days of cutting freestyle raps in AEW are officially over, according to “The Best Wrestler Alive.” Appearing on Hey! (EW), Caster discussed his frustrations with some of the questions fans frequently ask him.

“When is The Acclaimed gonna come back?’ When are you gonna rap again?’ The thing is, I’m not, first of all, I’m never ever gonna rap at AEW again.”

For Caster, stepping away from rapping is a business decision. Referring to recent controversies involving comedians, he explained that he doesn’t want his words to put AEW’s television presence at risk.

“You see what’s happening to Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert for saying (bleeps) on TV, getting the shows canceled. Imagine if I get AEW Dynamite canceled or Collision canceled.”

Caster’s freestyles have previously sparked backlash, including a line years ago that many felt mocked Olympian Simone Biles’ mental health. In December 2024, AEW cut a line referencing Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

While Caster has ditched rapping, he doesn’t regret what he has said. Even when concerned about being ‘canceled,’ Platinum Max remains defiant.

“people need to realize that. Don’t apologize for anything you do or say if it’s just people calling for your head. It’s pointless. That’s how I’ve survived.

Caster remains active on the mic with plenty to say, but his days cutting raps are over. Instead, Caster will let his actions in the ring do the talking.

Mercedes Moné Announced For Independent Event In Denmark

0

Wrestling fans in Denmark will soon get the chance to see Mercedes Moné in action as the CEO proves to be an international hit. BODYSLAM Wrestling has revealed that Moné will be part of their event on October 10 in Portalen, Greve. The match will be the AEW wrestler’s first time competing in Denmark.

If history is any indicator, Moné could be leaving Denmark with more than just memories. Currently, the CEO holds nine championship belts, several of which come from European promotions. Her collection includes titles from RevPro (United Kingdom,) EWA (Austria,) PTW (Poland,) and BestYa Wrestling (Italy.)

Moné’s international tour comes amid ongoing success in AEW. Moné captured the AEW TBS Championship in her first match for AEW, a title she holds to this day. So far, Moné has been beaten just once in singles action, with her loss coming to ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm at AEW All In: Texas.

Moné’s success certainly justifies her decision to bet on herself and walk away from WWE in 2022, an act that brought an end to Sasha Banks. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Mercedes Moné’s work around the world.

Hulu Shuts Down: Former WWE Streaming Hub Officially Closes

0

Hulu, once a landmark in the world of streaming and a crucial next-day destination for WWE fans, is officially going away. After more than 20 years, Disney is retiring Hulu as a standalone app, with all its content — including its wrestling library — set to be fully integrated into Disney+ by 2026. For fans of professional wrestling, this marks the end of an era where Hulu served as a key platform for next-day WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and a range of WWE programming that powered countless water cooler discussions and headline recaps for a generation.

For over a decade, Hulu was the home where many wrestling fans caught up on weekly WWE action. It offered next-day viewing of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, became the streaming hub for reality shows like Total Divas and Miz & Mrs., and was a reliable source for those who couldn’t tune in live. The platform’s accessible on-demand model made it a significant part of the WWE universe — a bridge between old-school cable and the digital era of wrestling fandom.

However, contracts and the streaming landscape have shifted. WWE programming departed Hulu beginning September 25, 2024, with flagship shows now moving to other homes: SmackDown to Peacock, Raw soon to Netflix, and NXT to The CW. While some WWE-branded originals and documentaries will remain in the Disney ecosystem, the classic Hulu experience for wrestling fans is over.

With the curtain closing on Hulu’s run, WWE’s history with streaming takes a new turn. The end of Hulu as a standalone app is more than just corporate reshuffling — for wrestling fans, it’s the finale of a chapter where compelling action, late-night viewing, and headline-generating moments were a click away. As the digital distribution of wrestling content continues to evolve, fans and publishers alike will remember Hulu as a foundational streaming home for WWE — one that’s now making its final count.

Shotzi Blackheart & Husband Looking To Adopt A Child

0

Shotzi Blackheart has made a name for herself in the ring, and now she and her husband are ready to make a major personal step. Speaking on Saraya’s Rulebreakers podcast, Shotzi shared that she and her husband are looking to adopt a child.

Shotzi was excited about signing up for the adoption process. With that said, the former WWE Superstar realized that this is not a quick process.

“The adoption process is so long, and like I don’t intend, like I mean if it happened, it happens, and I would take a child right now, but like I know the adoption process is long.”

Shotzi is eager to adopt, but added that “whatever happens, happens.” The former NXT Tag Team Champion was cut from WWE earlier this year but has re-established herself on the independent scene in recent months.

Shotzi won’t be the first wrestler to adopt a child. Kurt Angle and his wife adopted a 15-year-old boy from Bulgaria after learning that children over 10 are often less likely to be adopted. The legendary Haku adopted Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, who, like Haku’s biological son Tonga Loa, are wrestlers.

Shotzi Blackheart is ready to join the litany of wrestling moms and give a home to a child through adoption. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Shotzi Blackheart, both in and out of the ring.

Unlikely WWE Superstar Is Cameo’s Most Expensive Video Request

0

Cameo is a video service that allows fans to request a personalized video message from their favorite celebrities, albeit for a price. While there are thousands of celebrities and notable names available on Cameo, one WWE Superstar is proving to be the most expensive of them all.

Tama Tonga is the highest-priced celebrity on Cameo, with his videos costing $10,000. His videos have an average length of 1:13, meaning fans are paying $136.98 per second of Tonga’s time. Tonga currently has 36 reviews, all of which are five stars.

Tonga’s Cameo price far exceeds bigger stars like Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, or Kurt Angle. Tonga’s most recent video was made in 2023, before he joined WWE. It cannot be confirmed if he has increased his price since that last video.

In 2020, WWE banned talent from having Cameo accounts, as part of a crack-down on third party deals. While that policy has clearly been reversed, it may be a long time before somebody shells out $10,000 for just over a minute of Tama Tonga’s time.

Tony Khan Gives Update On Bandido After Dislocated Shoulder

0

Bandido isn’t backing down from his upcoming match against the Don Callis Family, despite recently suffering a shoulder injury. On October 3, Bandido defended the ROH World Championship against Hechicero at a CMLL event. During the match, Bandido’s shoulder would pop out of the socket and the masked star put in back in place before continuing the match.

This setback came ahead of a high-stakes tag-team match pitting ‘Brodido’ against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita. On X, Brody King hoped that Bandido would be able to make it to the match. In response, Tony Khan shared that Bandido plans to fight through the pain and make it to AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.

This match won’t see any gold on the line, but will lead to a title match. If Brodido win, whoever scores the pinfall will earn a shot at Okada’s Unified Championship. If Takeshita and Okada emerge victorious, the pair will earn a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday will face stiff competition as the show will air the same night as the ‘Showdown’ between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. Nevertheless, Bandido remains determined to compete against the Don Callis Family despite his recent setback.

TNA’s Joe Hendry Headlines WWE NXT Event Ahead Of Showdown

0

WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling may be bracing for a ‘Showdown’ on October 7, but that didn’t stop Joe Hendry from headlining a recent live event. The October 4, event took place from the MLK Center in Gainesville, Florida and saw Hendry defeat Cutler James in the closing match of the show.

Hendry’s appearance at the show comes amid the ongoing storyline between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. The two sides will collide at the ‘Showdown’ on October 7, which will see multiple interpromotional matches. Hendry hasn’t been announced for a match, but it has been confirmed that he will be making an appearance.

The former TNA World Champion has appeared multiple times for WWE NXT as part of the crossover between the two brands. It has been reported that Hendry is being prepped for a full-time move to WWE, bringing an end to his TNA run. TNA President Carlos Silva has shared that Hendry is still with TNA, despite his many appearances for WWE in 2025.

Outside WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, Hendry has appeared on WWE’s main roster. The TNA talent was part of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He also appeared at WrestleMania 41 as the surprise opponent of Randy Orton.

Caught between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, it remains to be seen what Hendry’s future holds. For now, the Scottish star remains a key part of both brands ahead of what will be a stacked Showdown event.

Jordynne Grace Receives Special Role For NXT-TNA Showdown

0

Jordynne Grace will be part of the upcoming NXT-TNA ‘Showdown’ but the Juggernaut won’t be competing. On X, WWE NXT General Manager Ava shared that Grace will serve as the special guest referee for the four-on-four women’s elimination bout.

The match will see WWE NXT represented by NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, North American Champion Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Jaida Parker. Team TNA has TNA Knockouts Champion (and NXT talent) Kelani Jordan, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee, & Mara Sade.

Grace had been outspoken about not being included on the Showdown card, as she helped launch the NXT-TNA crossover in 2024. That year, the then-TNA star appeared in the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match, and later appeared in WWE NXT.

While Grace has been part of WWE NXT full-time since the start of this year, her contributions to TNA Wrestling can’t be understated. With that in mind, time will tell where her loyalities are at the Showdown on October 7.

Karrion Kross Returns to MLW: Former WWE Star Set for Lucha de los Muertos

0

Killer Kross is set to return to Major League Wrestling at their November 20 event, MLW x Don Gato Tequila: Lucha de los Muertos. The promotion announced his comeback through a video segment shown during MLW Slaughterhouse.

This marks Kross’s return to the promotion where he previously appeared during 2020 and 2022. His most recent MLW match was against Matt Cross in June 2022, and he also participated in that year’s Battle Riot match. Notably, he maintains a perfect record in one-on-one matches within the promotion.

Following the expiration of his WWE contract in August, Kross has been working various independent wrestling promotions, with appearances for Game Changer Wrestling, DEFY Wrestling, and WrestlePro, among others.

Cedric Alexander’s TNA Contract Expiring at Bound for Glory

0

Cedric Alexander’s time with TNA Wrestling may be coming to an end, as his contract is set to expire imminently.

According to Fightful Select, Alexander has been working under a short-term deal that expires around the time of Bound for Glory, scheduled for October 12 at Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. TNA sources indicate the promotion is hoping to re-sign the former WWE star and expects him to do so.

Alexander made his TNA debut on June 20 at an Impact TV taping, confronting Mustafa Ali. Since then, he’s competed in eight matches for the promotion and is scheduled to appear on Thursday’s Bound for Glory go-home show. However, he has not been announced for a match at the pay-per-view itself, though he could potentially appear in the annual Call Your Shot gauntlet match.

The situation is part of a broader roster evaluation period for TNA, as Fightful reported that several other contracts are expiring around the same timeframe. The company is actively working to renew those talents, with short-term contracts becoming increasingly common in the promotion.

Alexander’s WWE run concluded in February as part of talent cuts, and he expressed interest in joining The Hurt Syndicate in AEW during a March interview. The Hurt Syndicate—consisting of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin—reunited in AEW in October 2024 after their Hurt Business run in WWE ended prematurely. MVP recently stated that while the group would love to bring Alexander in, they don’t handle AEW’s hiring decisions. The members want a reunion to happen, but it is not currently in the cards.

WWE NXT Star Pitches Role In Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice

0

Chelsea Green already has plenty of back-up with her ‘Secret Hervice,’ but could a new cabinet member be in the wings? On X, WWE NXT Superstar Karmen Petrovic shared her interest in joining the faction of the first-ever Women’s United States Champion.

Fans in the comments loved the idea of Petrovic joining the faction. One fan tagged Green to tell her that Petrovic would be a “perfect addition” to the Secret Hervice. Another said that Karmen was “overly qualified” while a third advised Green to “hire Karmen on the spot!”

The Bosnian-Canadian Petrovic joined WWE in 2022 and debuted on WWE NXT TV in July the following year. Since then, she has been a regular on NXT programming and has also appeared in TNA as well as Bloodsport.

Before wrestling, Petrovic competed in Karate and is a multi-time gold medalist in the spot. With these skills, Petrovic would certain be an intriguing addition to Green’s posse.

The Secret Hervice consists of Alba Fyre and Piper Niven, though Niven has been out of action in recent weeks. There have been concerns that the setback could be career-ending for Niven, who has been aligned with Green for over two years.

As for Petrovic, time will tell whether her plea results in a main roster call-up, or if she will have to wait. But it’s clear that Karmen clearly sees a future for himself in a black suit and by Green’s side.

Andrade El Idolo Wins Gold In First Post-WWE Match

0

Andrade El Idolo is not wasting time making an impact now that his latest WWE run has come to an end. At The Crash Lucha Libre event on October 3 at the Municipal Auditorium Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Andrade captured the Crash Heavyweight Championship.

Andrade defeated DMT Azul to win the gold in what was El Idolo’s first match since leaving WWE. What makes the win even more impressive is that DMT Azul had held the gold for over two years before Andrade brought his reign to an end.

It’s not just in Mexico where Andrade El Idolo is making an impression. Recently, Andrade returned to AEW and aligned himself with the Don Callis Family. With this move, Andrade has become the first wrestler to go from WWE to AEW, to back to WWE, and now, back to AEW.

Andrade left WWE in September 2025 after returning as part of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match. It was later shared that Andrade was effectively released and the decision was not mutual. His final WWE appearance came at SummerSlam 2025.

Andrade was previously with AEW for over two years but never won gold with the promotion. Now, already a champion, in Mexico, El Idolo plans on more titles now that he’s ‘All-Elite’ once more.

John Cena Farewell Tour Pack Coming To WWE 2K25

0

John Cena’s in-ring career is nearly at an end, but the WWE’s ‘GOAT’ is set to be celebrated in new downloadable content coming to WWE 2K25. On October 16, the John Cena Farewell Tour Edition Pack will release, giving fans much more of the 17-time WWE World Champion.

The set will include Cena’s heel entrance from WrestleMania 41 and much of 2025. Also included will be Cena as the Dr. of Thuganomics, Brock Lesnar, Ron ‘R-Truth’ Cena and Five Cena Farewell Tour T-Shirts. At this time, no price is given for the pack.

Cena is already a part of WWE 2K25 and has a deep history with WWE video games. Since his debut in 2003’s Day of Reckoning, Cena has been a part of 36 licensed WWE games, eleven of which feature Cena on the cover. Beyond the ring, Cena has been part of Fortnite and Mortal Kombat 1, both as Peacemaker, as well as 2016’s Marvel Avengers Academy, in which he voiced The Hulk.

John’s career will end this December at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but his contributions to WWE and pro-wrestling can’t be understated. Despite his retirement, fans can expect Cena in future games, as well as plenty of the ‘Never-Seen Seventeen’ in WWE 2K25.

Kurt Angle Reveals How The Rock Treated Him Early In His Career

0

Kurt Angle has explained how The Rock helped his career.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated. He talked about things such as making a movie about his life, his start in WWE and more.

During the talk, the former world champion was asked if he had any stories he wanted to share about The Rock. Kurt Angle said that he can’t remember a story but he remembers The Hollywood star being very generous during their interactions:

“Rock and I had such a blast. I don’t have any stories, but the cool thing about him is he was really giving. I was an Olympic Gold medallist. It wasn’t like I was a nobody coming into WWE.

But when you go in there and you go in there with an ego, you’re going to get in trouble very quickly. So I never had that ego. I always felt that these stars that I was going to wrestle like the Rock and Stone Cold, I put them at a higher level above me.”

You’re With Us: Kurt Angle

The wrestling veteran explained that The Rock always treated him as an equal despite his limited experience in the business. Kurt Angle also recalled pinning The Great One to win his first world title in the company:

“But Dwayne always brought me up to that level and said, ‘Hey, you’re with us, you’re up here with us, you’re not down there with the rest.’ So, he was always very generous with the way he wrestled.

He allowed….he was my first world championship match where I won the world championship. He didn’t have to say yes, but he did. So I’m just very grateful. I think the Rock has done so much for my career.”

Kurt Angle Reveals Upcoming Movie Based On His Life

0

Kurt Angle is making a movie about his life.

The Olympic Gold Medallist recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated. He talked about things such as his start in wrestling, how The Rock treated him early in his career and more.

During the interview, the former World Champion also discussed the Smashing Machine movie based on the life of his former rival Mark Kerr. When asked if we’ll ever see his own life story being shown on the big screen like that, Kurt Angle revealed that he’s actually working on a movie based on his life:

“Yeah, you know what, we are working on that movie. I have the directors Ian and Eshom Nelms, they’re brothers.

They were former wrestlers in high school and college. So they understand my sport. We’ve been talking to each other. We’re almost done with the script.”

Before We Do Anything: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle did not reveal which periods of his life the movie will cover. He explained that the project is in the pre-production stage right now, and they want to perfect the script before doing anything else:

“We already got the investors. So we’re in a good position right now, but we’re gonna make sure the script’s perfected before we do anything, before we pick the cast and everything like that.

So we’re taking our time and knowing the Smashing Machine just came out. It might be a good time to breathe a little bit, let that movie digest, and then continue on.

But yeah, the crazy thing is, ironically, Mark Kerr and I are doing a movie, and we wrestled each other for the Olympic team, and it’s just really ironic that his story’s coming out close to mine.”

Response To Booker T Saying Jade Cargill Is Fresh Off AEW Run

0

Jade Cargill was busted open during the September 26, episode of WWE SmackDown, where she challenged for the WWE Women’s Title. During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T chalked up Jade being busted open, among other issues in the match, to Jade’s AEW tenure.

“You have Jade Cargill, who is pretty much just fresh off her AEW run. Just think about the time in AEW for her. She probably didn’t learn a whole lot.”

Individuals in multiple promotions, including WWE, AEW, and TNA Wrestling, were confused by Booker’s comments. Cargill has been with WWE for over two years, and has had more matches as a WWE Superstar than as an AEW wrestler.

Jade has aleady had more title wins in WWE, with two tag title reigns to her name, compared to her one, albeit lengthy, run as AEW TBS Champion. Jade won the Queen of the Ring crown earlier this year, another accolade that demonstrates that she is firmly established in WWE.

While Jade may have first made a name for herself in AEW, she is now a fully-fledged member of the WWE roster.

Solo Sikoa Hints at Missing Piece for MFT Stable On WWE SmackDown

0

Solo Sikoa has his MFT faction, which already consists of Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Talla Tonga. Now, MFT (My Family Tree) could be set to welcome a new member, according to the former U.S. Champion.

On the October 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, MFT were part of a backstage segment. After praising Talla Tonga, Sikoa teased that the faction could be bringing in a new member. Sikoa ended by warning the SmackDown roster that once this addition is brought in, everyone in WWE will be on notice.

“I love all of you, but there’s something missing for this family to be complete. Once I find that missing part, everyone, and I mean everyone is on notice.”

As part of one of the largest families in wrestling, Sikoa has no shortage of potential additions to MFT. Zilla Fatu, the son of the late, great, Umaga, has spoken about his desire to be part of WWE, and it’s possible he could be the next member.

Currently, Tama Tonga is out of action with an injury, but with his return, and a potential new member, MFT could soon be more powerful than ever. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on MFT as their ranks appeared poised to grow soon.

Kelani Jordan Calls Out Bitter TNA Knockouts After Title Win

0

Kelani Jordan may be the TNA Knockouts Champion, but the NXT Star isn’t interested in winning over the TNA roster. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jordan acknowledged that some in TNA may be unhappy with her winning the title in her first TNA match.

“My first time ever in TNA. I know some people might be a little bit bitter, but who wouldn’t take the opportunity?

Jordan’s win comes amid the ongoing feud between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. For Jordan, it’s not hard to see why some TNA talents resent her sudden arrival and title win.

“Winning a title my first time, my first show, and another brand. If I were in TNA, I would be bitter too.”

Jordan won the gold that had been vacated by Ash By Elegance at Victory Road. Despite being an NXT Superstar, Jordan will captain TNA’s women at the ShowDown event on October 7. Jordynne will align with The Inspiration and Mara Sade, all former WWE Superstars.

With tensions high going into Showdown, Jordan’s comments will only escalate the situation between WWE NXT and TNA. With a roster of ‘bitter’ Knockouts, according to Jordan, time will tell whether Team TNA can co-exist at Showdown.

Bronson Reed Signs New Multi-Year WWE Deal

0

A new report from Fightful Select has revealed that WWE powerhouse Bronson Reed quietly signed a new multi-year contract with the company several months ago. The news, which had not been previously reported, confirms that the Raw superstar will be a fixture on WWE programming for the foreseeable future. Reed has been a consistent and reliable performer for the company since his return in 2022, and this long-term deal is a clear sign of the faith that WWE management has in him as a key part of their roster.

According to the report, sources indicated that Reed re-signed with WWE “quite a long time ago.” It was also noted that his performance since re-signing has been so impressive that he is reportedly already in a strong position to secure another new and improved deal within the next year.

Reed’s journey in WWE has been a unique one. He first signed with the company in 2019 and became a top star in the “black-and-gold” era of NXT, where he captured the NXT North American Championship. He was surprisingly released from the company in August 2021 but went on to have an impressive run in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, which ultimately led to WWE bringing him back in December 2022. Since his return to the main roster, he has been a dominant force on Monday Night Raw and is currently a key member of the “Vision” faction alongside World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.

Latest On Plans For Oba Femi After WWE NXT Championship Defeat

0

Oba Femi is no longer the WWE NXT Champion, but what does the future hold for ‘The Ruler’ of the silver brand? Femi lost the gold to Ricky Saints at WWE NXT No Mercy, ending a run on top that began in January of this year.

Despite this loss, fans shouldn’t expect Femi to be moved to the main roster yet. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shared that “Femi is still in the plans for NXT going forward.” In addition to his NXT title reign, Femi holds the record of the longest reigning WWE NXT North American Champion.

Meltzer acknowledged that WWE does sometimes ‘swerve’ people, and later shared that “there is no such thing as a 100 percent no.” For now, though, all signs point to Femi remaining as part of WWE NXT until the right time for a call-up.

Femi’s reign saw him retain against the likes of Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Ridge Holland, Wes Lee, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, and others in NXT. Going further, Femi retained the gold against TNA Wrestling’s Moose during NXT Roadblock in March 2025.

With two dominant title reigns to his name, many expect big things for Oba Femi once he joins the main roster. For now though, Femi will stay with WWE NXT, likely hungry for a rematch with Ricky Saints.

Hulk Hogan To Be Honored With Clearwater Trail Tribute

0

Hulk Hogan is to be honored in Florida as part of the Clearwater Trail will be dedicated to the late wrestler. At a press conference, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis shared that a two-mile portion of the Clearwater Trail will be named in honor of the Hulkster.

I am proud to announce today that we are officially establishing the Hulk Hogan Trail on a 2-mile portion of the Clearwater Trail between Oak Avenue and Coronado Drive.

This portion of the Clearwater Trail will have much more than Hogan’s name. In his statement, DeSantis shared that the plan is for different exercise stations to be added across the two-mile path. These exercise stations will be easily identifiable with their red and yellow color scheme, another nod to Hulk Hogan.

Jimmy Hart was also part of the event, and was pleased to see Hulk receive another packed house, even after his death. Hart also reflected on what Clearwater means, both to himself and his late friend.

“This is where Hulk and I would do Karaoke every Monday night… and the last thing he said to me is ‘Jimmy Hart, I want you to do your song.'”

The Hulk Hogan trail is the latest tribute bestowed to the two-time WWE Hall of Famer in the months following his death. While Hulk Hogan has passed, Hulkamania continues to live on in Florida and beyond.

Damian Priest Says He Would “Absolutely” Be Willing To Appear At The Super Bowl With Bad Bunny

0

Following the major announcement that global music superstar Bad Bunny will be the headliner for the Super Bowl LX halftime show, his former WWE rival and tag team partner, Damian Priest, has weighed in on the news. In a recent interview, the former World Heavyweight Champion stated that he would be more than willing to join Bad Bunny on the world’s biggest stage if the opportunity came about.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, the Judgment Day member was asked if he would consider joining the Grammy-winning artist for the halftime show, which is scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium.

“I mean, that’s not up to me but would I be willing? Absolutely. If you need me to learn some dance moves and break it down, I can figure it out.”

Damian Priest and Bad Bunny have a storied history together in WWE. They first teamed up at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 for Bad Bunny’s in-ring debut, where they defeated the team of The Miz and John Morrison in a match that was widely praised. Two years later, the two found themselves on opposite sides of the ring, in a San Juan Street Fight at the Backlash premium live event in Puerto Rico in May 2023.

Backstage News On Tony D’Angelo’s WWE NXT Absence

0

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an update on the status of WWE superstar Tony D’Angelo, revealing the reason for his ongoing absence from television. “The Don of NXT” has not been seen on programming since mid-July, leading to widespread speculation among fans that he was either injured or being prepared for an imminent call-up to the main roster. However, the new report indicates that his absence is for a much simpler, personal reason.

According to Dave Meltzer’s report, D’Angelo’s absence is not related to any injury. Instead, he is off television because he had “asked for time off.” There was no further indication as to when or on which brand the former NXT North American Champion is expected to make his return to the ring.

D’Angelo’s last televised appearance was on the July 15 episode of WWE NXT. On that night, he was victorious in a triple threat match against his own Family stablemates, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino. He later appeared in a pre-taped vignette where he seemed to be retiring his “Don” character before being confronted by a mysterious figure shrouded in shadows, leaving his storyline on a major cliffhanger.

His disappearance from television is what fueled the main roster call-up rumors. During his time in NXT, D’Angelo has held the North American Championship, the Heritage Cup, and was a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion. It’s unclear when he will be back.
