Rollins, Reigns & Punk Set For Triple-Threat Showdown At WrestleMania 41

0

Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins will do battle at WrestleMania 41, it has been confirmed. After the March 21, edition of WWE SmackDown, WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque confirmed the explosive triple-threat encounter.

Levesque’s announcement comes after Punk, Rollins, and Reigns were all part of WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy. After a war of words, the trio brawled to end the show. Officials rushed to separate the three though that proved to be easier said than done with three former WWE World Champions involved.

WrestleMania 41 will serve as 12th Showcase of the Immortals for Reigns and Rollins, both of whom knows what it means to win big at the event. The show will mark Punk’s eighth time competing at a WrestleMania and his first in 12 years. An injury forced Punk to miss competing at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024 so this match has been a long-time coming for the Best in the World.

With a trio of former World Champions, this match could be a WrestleMania: Saturday headliner. Punk has yet to headline a WrestleMania, and could be mere weeks away from crossing this goal off his bucket list. Punk has been confirmed for the March 24, Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, where fans can expect him to address this match.

WrestleMania 41 has a huge card and this match is just the latest spectacle conirmed for Las Vegas. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on WrestleMania 41.

DDP and Chris Jericho Assist Abdullah the Butcher’s Recovery

0

Wrestling icon Abdullah the Butcher has shared a positive update on his health, highlighting his recovery journey after years of physical challenges. Known for his brutal in-ring style and international wrestling career, Abdullah had been confined to a wheelchair in recent years and required daily assistance.

Now living with his friend Malika, who helps care for him, Abdullah posted a video message on Facebook thanking those who have supported him. He specifically mentioned Chris Jericho and Diamond Dallas Page, noting that Jericho helped connect him with Page, whose DDP Yoga program is contributing to his recovery.

In the video, Abdullah shared that he can now stand, raise his arms above his head—something he hadn’t been able to do before—and even begin dressing himself again. The update marks a significant improvement in his physical condition.

Diamond Dallas Page has a history of helping fellow wrestlers through his wellness program, including Lex Luger, who was recently named to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Jade Cargill Suffers First WWE Pinfall Loss on SmackDown

0

Jade Cargill experienced her first-ever pinfall loss in a WWE singles match on the March 21, 2025 episode of SmackDown.

Liv Morgan secured the victory after Naomi interfered, attacking Cargill while the referee was distracted by Raquel Rodriguez. Morgan then delivered her finishing move, Oblivion, for the decisive pin.

Before this match, Cargill had never been pinned in WWE singles competition. Her only previous defeat in the company came during the Royal Rumble, where she was eliminated by Morgan.

During her tenure in AEW from 2020 to 2023, Cargill maintained an undefeated streak across 60 matches. That run ended when she lost the TBS Championship to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing in May 2023, concluding a record-breaking 508-day title reign—the longest in AEW history.

She later suffered a second and final AEW loss to Statlander in a rematch on the September 15, 2023 episode of Rampage.

What Wrestlers Need to Know Before Joining WWE

0

Karrion Kross has offered valuable insight for wrestlers aiming to break into WWE, drawing on his own experience transitioning from the independent circuit. After debuting with WWE in 2020, Kross noted that one of the most overlooked yet critical skills is learning to perform for television.

Appearing on The DeFalco Files podcast, Kross explained that many talents on the independent scene are unfamiliar with working in front of cameras—a fundamental aspect of WWE’s production.

“They have no idea how to work TV or cameras. That’s a whole other world that never even occurs to people,” he said, emphasizing the importance of knowing camera positioning and anticipating production cuts. “When I’m out there in the ring in WWE, my mind is also in the truck.”

Kross credited his early development to regular check-ins with trainer Joe DeFalco, who advised him to treat his training like a job and be open to feedback. One piece of advice stuck with him: be ready for anything.

“Before you go to WWE, you need to feel like if they ask you to do literally anything, you should be able to confidently do it,” Kross recalled. Whether it’s delivering a spontaneous promo or wrestling a last-minute Iron Man match, adaptability is key.

Kross Wants Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania 41

Alongside his insights, Kross revealed a personal goal—facing Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 41. He’s been targeting Zayn in recent months, hoping to meet him on WWE’s biggest stage. However, Zayn remains out of action after a storyline attack by Kevin Owens, hinting that his own path may lead elsewhere for now.

Matt Riddle Says Chad Gable Could Dominate in UFC

0

Matt Riddle might currently hold the MLW World Championship, but his thoughts remain closely tied to mixed martial arts and its connection to professional wrestling.

In a recent conversation with Sportskeeda, Riddle was asked which pro wrestler he believes could make a successful jump to MMA. He quickly ruled out CM Punk, referencing the former WWE star’s unsuccessful stint in the UFC.

“Well, not CM Punk, no disrespect, but not him,” Riddle said. “He already did it. It wasn’t good.”

Turning to current WWE talent, Riddle named Chad Gable as a standout with real MMA potential.

“I think somebody that would be really good if he worked on Jiu-Jitsu would be somebody like Chad Gable. He’s a high-level wrestler.

If he gets a couple of jits guys, a couple strikers, he will smash them and wipe the mat with them.”

Beyond Gable, Riddle also pointed to Otis and Angelo Dawkins as other WWE performers who could find success in the world of mixed martial arts.

WWE 2K25 Update 1.06 Targets MyRISE, Universe Mode, and Stability Fixes

0

2K has rolled out patch 1.06 for WWE 2K25, introducing a range of fixes and stability improvements across multiple modes. The update aims to resolve several issues reported by players since the game’s release earlier this month.

The patch enhances general stability and performance while addressing specific gameplay concerns. One notable fix corrects Bray Wyatt ‘23’s entrance animation during certain match types.

In MyRISE, missing Face Photo options have been restored. Universe Mode now allows proper arena changes during show edits, and MyGM resolves an issue where brand displays appeared incorrectly.

Creation Suite updates include fixes for The Rock ‘01’s motion unlock and custom video lockout errors. The patch also adjusts likeness issues for select characters.

Additionally, The Island mode received a fix for banners not displaying correctly.

The first downloadable content (DLC) pack for WWE 2K25 is expected to launch in May.

Randy Orton Challenges Kevin Owens to WrestleMania 41 Showdown

0

The Viper is poised to strike again. The 14-time World Champion has his sights set on WrestleMania 41, and he’s not coming alone.

At Friday’s WWE SmackDown taping from Bologna, Italy, Orton issued a challenge to his longtime rival Kevin Owens for a match at the upcoming event just 4 weeks away.

Owens came out in an RKO t-shirt and suggested that he and Orton team up at WrestleMania and make a run at the tag titles. Orton wasn’t having any of it, and the official challenge was laid down.

A Rivalry Renewed

The bad blood between the two superstars has been simmering for months, dating back to their brief alliance heading into last year’s WrestleMania 40.

The tensions between Orton and Owens reached a boiling point last summer at Bash in Berlin, where Owens brutally betrayed Cody Rhodes, sparking a vicious feud that eventually dragged in The Viper.

The two battled back and forth for months, culminating in a barbaric encounter at Survivor Series that left Orton with a serious neck injury.

Orton suffered cervical cord neurapraxia due to a package piledriver delivered by Owens during the match. The injury has kept The Apex Predator out of action for months, but now he’s ready to settle the score on the grandest stage of them all.

The Orton vs. Owens clash adds even more star power to an already stacked WrestleMania 41 lineup. The current card features world championship bouts like Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk and Jey Uso vs. Gunther, as well as a dream match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.

Former Puerto Rican Wrestler Rico Suave Dies at 54

0

Former Puerto Rican professional wrestler Julio Domingo Estrada, best known in the ring as “Rico Suave,” has died at the age of 54. Originally from Humacao, Estrada had been battling diabetes, which led to the amputation of one of his legs in recent months. He also underwent heart treatment involving a mesh implant and had been under observation and rest.

“Rico Suave” was a prominent figure in the World Wrestling Council (WWC), where he made a lasting impact on Puerto Rico’s wrestling scene. WWC plans to honor his memory during its 52nd anniversary event this August.

Estrada came from a family with deep roots in wrestling. He was the son of José Estrada, also known as “El Súper Médico,” and brother of Cheo Estrada, a member of the WWE group “Los Boricuas.”

His contributions to wrestling and his legacy in the Puerto Rican sports community will be remembered by fans and peers alike.

Zilla Fatu Accuses Solo Sikoa of Betrayal: ‘He’s a Snake. Jacob Might Kill Him’

0

In one of his most charged interviews yet, Zilla Fatu pulled no punches when speaking on the internal dynamics of wrestling’s most powerful family.

Talking with MuscleManMalcolm for Muscle Memory, Fatu made a bold claim about WWE’s Solo Sikoa—accusing him of double-dealing his own blood.

“I think Solo is a snake,” Fatu said bluntly. “He’s playing both sides. And you know what happens when you play both sides, right? You go down and get exposed.”

The comments come amid speculation surrounding the on-and-off alliance between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, two prominent members of the Anoa’i dynasty. Zilla, himself a Bloodline descendant and the son of Umaga, believes Solo’s loyalty is a façade—and that Jacob will eventually see through it.

“When Jacob realizes that Solo is not really there for him… he might kill him,” Zilla warned.

Asked if he acknowledges Solo—mirroring Roman Reigns’ famous demand—Zilla didn’t hesitate: “Hell no.”

The explosive comments not only hint at personal rifts within the family but also open the door for future storyline developments, should Zilla eventually join WWE programming.

With House of Glory and Reality of Wrestling as his current battlegrounds, Fatu is carving his own path—but his sights seem firmly set on a bigger stage, where this drama could play out under even brighter lights.

Zilla Fatu Offended by Kofi Kingston: ‘It Felt Personal’

0

Zilla Fatu isn’t backing down from what he sees as a blatant show of disrespect by WWE’s New Day. In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm on Muscle Memory, the House of Glory Crown Jewel Champion called out Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for actions he says crossed a line with his fanbase.

“This all started with Xavier Woods,” Fatu explained. “He came to my city, after the show was over, and threw down one of my fans’ t-shirts on the ground. That was very unnecessary and very disrespectful, especially when you in my home city. I take that very personal.”

The tension escalated further when a clip surfaced of Kofi Kingston tossing a fan’s “Zilla Fatu thumbs down” foam finger. For Zilla, that felt targeted.

“You took one of my very special fans’ Zilla Fatu thumbs down foam finger and threw it on the ground. Yuck. Right? Yuck. And there were other fans he could’ve done that to—but he chose that one. It felt personal.”

Fatu made it clear he’s not letting it slide.

“The fans and his family take it very personal… that won’t happen again,” he warned.

Though he acknowledged that his cousins are fans of Kofi, Zilla didn’t mince words: “Me? I don’t.”

With tensions rising and Zilla hinting at a broader feud, the spotlight is now on WWE to see if this real-life grudge crosses into televised territory.

Alexa Bliss’ WWE Return Tied to Wyatt Sicks Storyline

0

Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE television since her appearance at Elimination Chamber on March 1. Her return in the Royal Rumble marked the end of an extended break during which she welcomed her first child and dealt with health issues.

Following her latest match, Bliss was also pulled from a scheduled appearance at WWE World during WrestleMania 41 weekend, raising questions about her involvement in upcoming events.

While Bliss has assured fans that she’s fine, and her WrestleMania status remains uncertain, new details suggest WWE has plans in place.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Bliss is expected to remain off television until she is integrated into the Wyatt Sicks faction on SmackDown. The group has also been absent from programming since December, reportedly due to injury-related issues.

A recent cryptic posts from the Wyatt Sicks on social media—including one reading, “We see you. Remember who you are. Remember what you know”—fueled speculation about Bliss reuniting with the faction, referencing her past alliance with Bray Wyatt.

As of now, no return date has been confirmed for Bliss or the Wyatt Sicks.

Saraya Calls Toni Storm One Of The Best Characters Of All Time

0

Even during her time away from in-ring competition, Saraya remains a dedicated observer of AEW, particularly impressed by the compelling character work of AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Saraya specifically praised Storm’s significant growth as a performer and the marked progression she has demonstrated in her in-ring abilities.

“She’s one of the best promos and characters, I think, of all time. And she’s one of my favorites all together right now. She is making wrestling fun and exciting and I love that. And it’s just funny seeing her from two years ago… when she was scared to pick up a microphone.

Once you have a character and something that you’re enjoying in wrestling, you wanna put a hundred percent of your mind, body, and soul into it. And she’s doing it. And she’s so humble about it and I love that for her. She’s just like, ‘I hope I’m doing a good job.’ I’m like, ‘Babe, you are smashing it! You are the best thing in wrestling right now.’”

Saraya has been absent from AEW television since October 2024, her last victory occurring against Nyla Rose on an August 2024 episode of AEW Rampage. Meanwhile, AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm is preparing for her next title defense against Megan Bayne at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event next month.

‘This Is It’ – John Cena Sr. Says Son Won’t Break Retirement

0

Wrestling retirements are often a broken-promise, but that won’t be the case for John Cena, according to the WWE icon’s father. Speaking to Undisputed, Cena Sr. was adamant that his son will keep his word.

“I know my son. If he says this is the end, then this is it. We’re only a few months away from the last time we see John in jorts in a wrestling ring.”

Cena shared at the Money in the Bank 2024 that his final match would come in 2025. Since then, Cena has turned heel and ‘dumped’ the WWE Universe with a scathing promo during the March 17, WWE Raw.

“He was direct, he was to the point, and he gave us his reason for his actions. I thought it was extremely well done. I’m still amazed he and WWE kept this all under wraps.”

The younger Cena will be a part of the March 24, WWE Raw, as will his WrestleMania 41 adversary Cody Rhodes. With the allure of a 17th WWE World Championship being within reach for John Cena, WrestleMania may prove to be his last chance to hit the milestone before his career in the ring comes to a permanent end.

Demolition Reflects on WWE Hall of Fame Snub & Fan Support

0

The WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025 is coming together with Triple H, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger all confirmed by WWE. It has been reported that the Natural Disasters will also be inducted, but now another legendary tag-team has spoken up.

Despite being legends of the ring, Demolition, the tag team of Ax and Smash, have yet to receive the nod. Speaking to Ten Count Media, Ax, real name Bill Eadle, brought up how fans often question the pair about a Hall of Fame induction.

“The fans are asking, ‘When are you going to get into the Hall of Fame?’ Who knows? We may never, ever, because there are so many tag teams out there.”

When asked about what it’d take for the pair to be inducted, Smash, real name Barry Darsow, recalled a conversation from WrestleCon. While the pair believe that inductees are given $5-6,000 for an induction, they joked that their price tag would be considerably higher.

I laughed and thought, ‘I think it would take probably $100,000 at least to bring us in for the Hall of Fame.’ And I thought, what a good number.

Darsow’s high price-tag doesn’t come down to greed as he shared he’d give much of the money away. Darsow shared that he’d like to gift $10,000 to the church his mother-in-law operates and another $10,000 to the sherrif’s department that his son works at.

As for Eadle, he shared that it’s nice that fans believe an induction is overdue, but they’re not sweating receiving the honor. For Demolition, the important thing is that their careers impacted so many fans and it is that, not a WWE Hall of Fame spot, that will be their legacy.

“We have no control over it. If we get in, great. If we don’t get in, we’re not going to lose sleep over it. So, that’s where we stand.

The WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony will take place on April 18, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in its BleauLive Theater. With the ceremony promising an exciting night of nostalgia and memories, stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Wyatt Sicks Calls For Patience Amid WWE Hiatus With Biblical Post

0

The Wyatt Sicks have been missing from TV since the December 9, 2024, edition of WWE Raw. Despite a move to SmackDown in the recent ‘Transfer Window,’ the Uncle Howdy led faction has vanished from programming, leaving fans to wonder what’s next for the group.

On X, fka Twitter, the group shared a cryptic message that began with ecc3:1, a nod to the bble and the book of Ecclesiastes.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

The post then promises that people will “stand in awe” for what is to come in time, before making referenced to the book of Galatians.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

The Wyatt Sicks ends with reminding fans that “we see you” and asking them to remember who they are and what they know.

The Wyatt Sicks’ use of biblical passages is a call for patience, though many are growing increasingly tired of waiting for the faction to resurface. In the comments, many fans expressed their disatisfaction at the handling of the group and are eagerly awaiting their return. Some also brought up Alexa Bliss, who despite teases of doing something with the faction, has been pulled from WWE plans for the time being. It remains to be seen what becomes of the Wyatt Sicks, but it appears patience is wearing thin for Uncle Howdy and his acolytes.

Alberto El Patron Gives His Side Of Suspension, Blames Wrestling Commission

0

Alberto El Patron has been suspended for six months from competing in Tijuana following an incident with a fan at a AAA event. In a statement to Sportskeeda, El Patron took aim at the Tijuana Wrestling Commission who he argued failed Hijo del Perro Aguayo who died in the ring in the same venue in 2015.

“As it happened when we lose my dear friend Pedro [Hijo del Perro Aguayo], The Tijuana [Wrestling] Commission washed their hands, blaming someone else for what happened to divert the attention. They failed due to not having an ambulance, physician, stretcher, among other things. Today, they do the same thing [blame someone else for their own mistakes], but with me to divert the attention that, a woman and myself ended up physically injured after being attacked by a bunch of misfits [drunk fans].”

The incident at the AAA event saw a fan, seemingly drunk, throw an ice cube that struck Del Rio in the eye, Sportskeeda reports. While El Patron tried to ignore the matter, the fan later threw coins at the wrestler, one of which hit him directly in the forehead. El Patron then confronted the fan, warning them of a potential arrest. El Patron claims that when security intervened, they let the fan walk away while the wrestler was later suspended.

Despite this suspension, the former WWE World Champion is allowed to work elsewhere in Mexico, giving fans to see him in action. However, this incident is the latest in a string of messy matters that continue to plague the wrestling veteran.

Dominik Mysterio’s Family Heritage Takes A Turn On TNA iMPACT

0

Dominik Mysterio arrived in WWE in 2005 as part of the Rey Mysterio Vs. Eddie Guerrero feud, in which Guerrero claimed Dominik was his biological son. While it’s been close to two decades since Rey won custody in a ladder match, Mysterio’s heritage remains a point of debate in wrestling.

On the March 20, edition of TNA iMPACT, Chavo Guerrero made a surprise appearance, interrupting AJ Francis to the delight of the crowd. Unimpressed by the former ECW World Champion, Francis argued that Chavo wasn’t even the second best Guerrero (with Eddie coming at #1.)

Anyone that wrestled in WCW needs to sit their ass down before they get hurt. If I wanted to have the second-best Guerrero on the First Class Penthouse, I would have called my buddy Dominik.

Guerrero responded, acknowledging Dirty Dom’s complicated family tree. Chavo even suggested that it’s possible that Dominik may be the son of Rey’s wife Angie, but not the Hall of Famer.

“The verdict is still out on Dominik because we aren’t sure he’s a Guerrero yet. We’re waiting to find out. His mom did get around! And Eddie was damn good-looking.

This is quite the twist from the canon established in 2005, that Rey and Angie adopted Dominik from Eddie and Vickie Guerrero as the Mysterios were struggling to conceive. Dominik himself has alluded to being Eddie’s son while referring to the man who raised him as a ‘deadbeat dad.’

It remains to be seen if Dominik appears in TNA as part of the multi-year partnership, but don’t count out ‘Dirty Dom’ showing up in the iMPACT zone. With this crossover already seeing some big names from both sides cross the line, Dominik Mysterio (or rather, Dominik Guerrero) could certainly find a home in TNA Wrestling.

Ex-WWE Star Talks ‘Passion’ After Behind The Scenes Return

0

Lince Dorado recently sat down with 302Birds to discuss his recent return to WWE. Dorado, once one-third of the Lucha House Party explained that after being cut in late 2021, he is officially back.

“February is when I started. As both a wrestler and a trainer. They’ve trusted me to train the next superstars of tomorrow at the highest point with WWE.”

For all his success in the ring, Dorado described coaching and training talent to be his “calling.” Dorado explained how he was preparing to be a coach long before he made it to WWE.

“I used to be a math teacher, so teaching has always been in my blood. Teaching wrestling is something that I love.”

At 37 years old with 17 years in the business to his name, Dorado knows that his career in the ring can’t last forever. That is why the masked star is working hard to make himself invaluable in roles outside of the squared circle.

“I try to better myself and find a skill within wrestling that’s going to keep me in wrestling, whether that’s making gear, making masks, training people, or consulting.”

Dorado is working hard to train the Superstars of tomorrow but that doesn’t mean his in-ring career is through just yet. With a pair of appearances for WWE NXT (albeit untelevised) earlier this year, fans can’t out seeing the wrestling veteran in a WWE ring once again.

As previously reported, Homicide is retiring from in-ring competition after a cyst was found on his brain. Now, the wrestling veteran is officially retired but ended his career with a huge victory. Homicide and Bull James were victorious over Afa Jr. and Mike Santana with Homicide hitting the Ace Crusher on Afa Jr. to get the victory.

Homicide is retiring after decades as part of the wrestling business, where he is known for his work in ROH, TNA, CZW, and elsewhere. On social media, many wrestlers paid tribute to the former Ring of Honor World Champion.

In his statement announching his retirement, Homicide made clear this isn’t a full goodbye from the wrestling business but instead a “see you later.” Though his time in the ring may be over, Homicide intends to remain a part of the business he continues to love after his retirement.

Alexa Bliss Assures Fans She’s Fine

Alexa Bliss is letting fans know she’s doing just fine after her scheduled WWE World appearance during WrestleMania 41 weekend was unexpectedly canceled.

After news broke that Bliss had been removed from the event lineup, she took to social media with a lighthearted response. Posting a GIF from the TV show Friends, Bliss quoted the famous line: “I’m fine, okay? I’m great!”—seemingly reassuring fans despite ongoing speculation about her WWE status.

Bliss was initially set to appear at WWE World at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 17 to 21, but Fanatic Events, which handles bookings, confirmed she would no longer be attending. No official reason was given for the change.

The former Women’s Champion made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble earlier this year but has only competed twice since. Reports have suggested WWE had “major plans” for Bliss at WrestleMania 41, possibly linking her to the Wyatt Sicks faction. However, her absence from the WWE World schedule has raised further questions about her role in the event.

For now, Bliss appears to be in good spirits, but fans will have to wait and see whether she plays a part in WrestleMania weekend.

LA Knight Says Roman Reigns Feud Set Him Back

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, LA Knight discussed the impact of his feud with Roman Reigns on his WWE career.

He admitted that the rivalry ultimately hindered his progress. Knight challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2023, where Reigns successfully retained the title.

While Knight also participated in a fatal four-way match for the championship at the 2024 Royal Rumble, by WrestleMania 40, he was relegated to the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown, preceding the main event. It was the second straight year he missed out on WrestleMania.

“I think it did a little bit of all that. It took me in a few different directions. I think it optically in a way elevated me and I think optically in a way it kind of set me back a little bit and I had to do a little bit of a rebuild back in the winter and the springtime of last year.

I think that’s just by virtue of the way that it was all set up and the way it was done, but ultimately Crown Jewel was a nice pay-off, so that was pretty good.”

Knight won the US Title for a second time from Shinsuke Nakamura earlier this month.
