Homicide Wins Retirement Match, Wrestlers Pay Tribute

0

As previously reported, Homicide is retiring from in-ring competition after a cyst was found on his brain. Now, the wrestling veteran is officially retired but ended his career with a huge victory. Homicide and Bull James were victorious over Afa Jr. and Mike Santana with Homicide hitting the Ace Crusher on Afa Jr. to get the victory.

Homicide is retiring after decades as part of the wrestling business, where he is known for his work in ROH, TNA, CZW, and elsewhere. On social media, many wrestlers paid tribute to the former Ring of Honor World Champion.

In his statement announching his retirement, Homicide made clear this isn’t a full goodbye from the wrestling business but instead a “see you later.” Though his time in the ring may be over, Homicide intends to remain a part of the business he continues to love after his retirement.

Alexa Bliss Assures Fans She’s Fine

0

Alexa Bliss is letting fans know she’s doing just fine after her scheduled WWE World appearance during WrestleMania 41 weekend was unexpectedly canceled.

After news broke that Bliss had been removed from the event lineup, she took to social media with a lighthearted response. Posting a GIF from the TV show Friends, Bliss quoted the famous line: “I’m fine, okay? I’m great!”—seemingly reassuring fans despite ongoing speculation about her WWE status.

Bliss was initially set to appear at WWE World at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 17 to 21, but Fanatic Events, which handles bookings, confirmed she would no longer be attending. No official reason was given for the change.

The former Women’s Champion made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble earlier this year but has only competed twice since. Reports have suggested WWE had “major plans” for Bliss at WrestleMania 41, possibly linking her to the Wyatt Sicks faction. However, her absence from the WWE World schedule has raised further questions about her role in the event.

For now, Bliss appears to be in good spirits, but fans will have to wait and see whether she plays a part in WrestleMania weekend.

LA Knight Says Roman Reigns Feud Set Him Back

0

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, LA Knight discussed the impact of his feud with Roman Reigns on his WWE career.

He admitted that the rivalry ultimately hindered his progress. Knight challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2023, where Reigns successfully retained the title.

While Knight also participated in a fatal four-way match for the championship at the 2024 Royal Rumble, by WrestleMania 40, he was relegated to the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown, preceding the main event. It was the second straight year he missed out on WrestleMania.

“I think it did a little bit of all that. It took me in a few different directions. I think it optically in a way elevated me and I think optically in a way it kind of set me back a little bit and I had to do a little bit of a rebuild back in the winter and the springtime of last year.

I think that’s just by virtue of the way that it was all set up and the way it was done, but ultimately Crown Jewel was a nice pay-off, so that was pretty good.”

Knight won the US Title for a second time from Shinsuke Nakamura earlier this month.

Andrew Schulz Wants WWE Justice, Triple H Says Game On

0

On the March 10, edition of WWE Raw, comedian Andrew Schulz ran into some trouble with Logan Paul until AJ Styles made the save. Speaking on This Past Weekend, Schulz watched a clip from his time at Raw and was grateful for the Phenomenal One.

“Thank God AJ Styles comes in to save my ass, I’d be toast [otherwise], in front of my wife.”

While Schulz was mere seconds away from a suplex, this may not be the last fans see of him in a WWE setting. When asked if part of him wanted to do more, Schulz teased a potential return.

“I need justice, bro. I need justice. You can’t come do that s*** to me in Madison Square Garden. My home, talk crazy to me. I need some paper, bro. I need my get-back.”

Schulz’s comments haven’t gone unnoticed. On X, WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque teased having plans for the comedian.

Schulz is yet to have a match for WWE though he’d hardly be the first celebrity to step foot in the ring as a competitor. With WWE arguably more mainstream than ever before, it remains to be seen if Schulz and others walk in the footsteps of Bad Bunny, Johnny Knoxville, and Paul himself.

The Mindset That Fueled Nikki Bella’s WWE Comeback

0

When doctors told Nikki Bella her wrestling career was over, she refused to accept it.

“I wouldn’t accept no. My body wouldn’t even accept no,” she shared on The Nikki & Brie Show. “I knew I had more to give.”

After undergoing spinal surgery in 2016, Nikki faced six months in a neck brace. The recovery process was grueling, but her mindset kept her focused.

“There were nights I wanted to rip it off. I would lie in bed questioning everything. But I told myself, ‘This is temporary. I will be back.’”

Visualization became a key tool in her recovery. Nikki mentally rehearsed her WWE return, picturing every detail of her entrance at SummerSlam. She believes that mental strength helped her body heal.

“My trainer, Rob McIntyre, helped me train safely, even with my neck brace on. We found creative ways to work out, and I adjusted my diet to support bone healing.”

Just weeks after removing her brace, Nikki shocked fans with a surprise comeback at SummerSlam 2016. She credits her return to resilience and refusing to let an injury define her future.

“When we hear ‘no,’ it doesn’t mean stop. It means find another way.”

Her journey is a testament to the power of mental strength—proving that with determination, even the toughest obstacles can be overcome.

Nikki Bella’s Near-Career-Ending Injury: The Truth About Her Neck Damage and Recovery

0

For years, Nikki Bella dominated WWE, performing high-impact moves and holding championship gold. But behind the scenes, she was unknowingly pushing her body to the brink—until doctors told her she had a career-ending injury.

“I was slowly breaking my neck, and no one knew it,” Nikki shared on The Nikki & Brie Show. “

I would wake up in the night with numb legs. I couldn’t move my toes or feet. Something was really wrong.”

During her 2015 WWE Divas Championship reign, Nikki began experiencing alarming symptoms, including sudden loss of strength mid-match. After undergoing medical evaluations, she was diagnosed with a shattered C6-C7 vertebrae—so severe that doctors warned her of paralysis.

“It wasn’t just a herniated disc—it was splattered,” she said. “If I kept wrestling, I was risking paralysis or worse.”

Most doctors advised spinal fusion surgery, but renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Juan Uribe offered a less invasive alternative. By operating through the front of her neck, he restored spinal fluid flow and gave her hope for a normal life—even if wrestling again was uncertain.

Nikki spent six months in a neck brace before making a triumphant return at SummerSlam 2016. Reflecting on her journey, she credits resilience and second opinions for saving her career.

“Everyone told me I was done. But I refused to accept no—and that’s why I made it back.”

After a complex spinal surgery, Nikki fought her way back to the ring, but she knows not all wrestlers get that chance.

“This business is tough. Sometimes, we don’t realize what we’ve done to our bodies until it’s too late.”

Though Nikki overcame her injury, her story highlights the hidden dangers of wrestling—and the sacrifices performers make to entertain fans.

Eddie Kingston Honors Homicide’s Legacy in Emotional Retirement Tribute

0

As wrestling veteran Homicide nears retirement, AEW’s Eddie Kingston delivered a heartfelt tribute, honoring his mentor’s lasting impact on the industry. In a new ROH Timelines video, Kingston praised Homicide’s legendary career, recalling his iconic rivalries and influence on future generations of wrestlers.

Kingston Reflects on Homicide’s Career and Influence

Speaking passionately, Kingston highlighted Homicide’s unforgettable feuds with Steve Corino, Colt Cabana, Samoa Joe, and Bryan Danielson. “When you messed with him, it wasn’t just one match,” Kingston emphasized, acknowledging Homicide’s intense rivalries and in-ring storytelling.

He also credited Homicide for showing New Yorkers—and wrestlers everywhere—that success in the sport is attainable through heart, dedication, and grit. “Homicide inspired so many of us and made many of us,” Kingston added, stressing the veteran’s impact on rising stars. He noted that many top talents, from world champions to industry leaders, had to cross paths with Homicide at some point in their careers.

A Personal Connection Beyond the Ring

Beyond wrestling, Kingston shared how Homicide has been a guiding force in his life, calling him a “guardian angel” who always reaches out at the right moments. “He never knows why, but he always goes, ‘I have a feeling, I gotta call you.’ He always calls at the right time.”

In closing, Kingston urged fans to appreciate Homicide’s legacy, ranking him alongside wrestling greats like Terry Funk and Japanese legends Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi. Though he jokingly hinted that Homicide’s retirement may not be permanent, Kingston sincerely thanked him for everything he has contributed to wrestling.

With a career spanning decades and a reputation as one of the most influential independent wrestlers, Homicide leaves behind a legacy of toughness, passion, and inspiration. His impact on stars like Kingston and many others ensures that his influence will be felt in the industry for years to come.

Goldberg on John Cena’s Heel Turn: ‘I Could Have Done the Same Thing’

0

John Cena’s long-awaited heel turn has had fans and wrestling insiders talking as the WWE icon prepares to end his in-ring career this year. Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Goldberg compared Cena’s transformation to Hulk Hogan’s infamous NWO turn in 1996 before sharing his own nixed turn.

“I think Cena’s turn is most comparable to Hogan turning. I could have done the same thing, but I refused to.

Discussing his refused heel turn, Goldberg said it would have done unparalleled business. Explaining why he said no, Goldberg said thatbreaking the hearts of young fans, especially those who were part of the Make-A-Wish program, was not worth it.

While Goldberg refused an initial attempt at turning heel, he later became a villain at the Great American Bash 2000 pay-per-view. The turn was panned at the time as a desparate attempt by WCW to gain attention without a proper explanation or reason for the turn. Just two months later at WCW New Blood Rising, Goldberg turned face again.

John Cena holds the record for the most Make-A-Wish wishes granted, a testament to his never-ending willingness to deliver. Despite his own reservations about turning heel in front of Make-A-Wish kids, Goldberg has been pleased with what he’s seen from the WWE icon.

“I think Cena’s turn is freaking fabulous, no question about it.

Both Goldberg and Cena will compete for the last time in 2025, making the end of two iconic careers. It remains to be seen if their paths cross ahead of their respective farewells to in-ring competition.

Reddit Conspiracy Suggests UFC’s Paddy Pimblett is the Secret Son of WWE Legend Owen Hart

0

A conspiracy theory has emerged in the world of combat sports, suggesting that UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett might be the secret son of late WWE superstar Owen Hart. The theory, which gained traction on Reddit, points to several intriguing coincidences, as one Reddit user noted:

“Paddy Pimblett entered the world in January 1995 in England. Interestingly, just nine months before his birth, the WWF (now known as WWE) was touring Europe, with Owen Hart participating in that tour.”

Both athletes stand at 5’10” and share a striking physical resemblance. The (understandably) skeptical commenters on the /r/Conspiracy subreddit were almost universally in agreement – “This is a good one,” reads the top reply.

The original poster on Reddit playfully suggests that if Pimblett executes a sharpshooter move on his upcoming opponent Michael Chandler, it would confirm the connection. Another commenter joked, “Maybe he’ll break out the piledriver instead,” referencing one of Owen Hart’s signature moves.

While the speculation is tongue-in-cheek, it highlights the enduring legacy of Owen Hart, who tragically passed away in 1999. Hart, known for his high-flying style and technical prowess, left an indelible mark on professional wrestling.

Pimblett, born on January 3, 1995, has carved his own path in mixed martial arts, becoming a rising star in the UFC’s lightweight division. As he prepares for his upcoming bout against Michael Chandler on April 12, 2025, fans will undoubtedly be watching closely for any moves reminiscent of the legendary Owen Hart.

Seth Rollins Expands into Football Media with Good Morning Football Hosting Gig

0

Seth Rollins is making moves outside the wrestling ring, stepping into sports media as a guest host on Good Morning Football from March 24-26. The WWE champion and lifelong Chicago Bears fan confirmed the news to Front Office Sports, highlighting his deep love for both football and engaging conversations.

“I love hearing myself talk and I love football,” Rollins said. “It’s something that I’ve always kind of been interested in, especially in the past few years.”

Building a Presence in Football Media

Rollins has frequently appeared on Good Morning Football in past segments, but this marks his first time co-hosting the full show. His relationship with co-host Kyle Brandt, another Bears and WWE fan, played a key role in securing the opportunity.

“Kyle and I admired each other from afar for a while,” Rollins explained. “We got to meet, hang out, talk Bears, talk wrestling. He’s got the energy that WWE brings to the table, and that immediately helped my comfortability.”

WWE Fully Supports His Bears Podcast Idea

Rollins’ passion for football extends beyond just guest appearances—he has seriously considered launching a Bears-focused podcast. Notably, WWE has been completely on board with the idea, showing support for its crossover appeal.

“I’ve kicked around the idea of hosting a Bears podcast, and WWE has been fully supportive,” Rollins revealed.

This backing from WWE signals the company’s willingness to let its top stars explore outside ventures, particularly in areas that align with their personal passions.

A Love-Hate Relationship with the Bears

A lifelong Bears fan, Rollins has experienced his fair share of emotional roller coasters. His frustrations have even led to viral moments, including his infamous “I hate football” tweets.

Recalling a brutal Thanksgiving Day loss to the Detroit Lions, Rollins admitted that his reaction got a little out of hand.

“They had to take the girl outside—like the baby couldn’t be around me watching the game,” he said. “There was a pillowcase thrown. We had some fast food from the night before that had been chucked. It was not a good time to be in that hotel room.”

Despite the heartbreak, Rollins remains hopeful. He is “100% sold” on Caleb Williams and believes new head coach Ben Johnson is the right fit for the franchise.

With his Good Morning Football stint approaching and WWE open to his potential Bears podcast, Rollins’ presence in the sports media world seems poised for expansion.

Seth Rollins on Becky Lynch’s Acting Career and WrestleMania Mindset

0

As Seth Rollins balances WWE and a growing presence in sports media, he also provided insight into his wife Becky Lynch’s Hollywood career and his mindset heading into WrestleMania 41.

Lynch has been busy outside WWE, landing roles in Happy Gilmore 2 and an upcoming Star Trek project for Paramount+. While she hasn’t been in the ring recently, Rollins reassured fans that a return is inevitable.

“I don’t think we’ve seen the last of her in a WWE ring, but when the timing is right, she’ll be back,” Rollins tells Front Office Sports. “I know the fans are looking forward to it. I’ll be excited about it as well. But I’m not exactly sure what the timing is on that.”

Rollins Focused on WrestleMania, Regardless of Match Placement

Rollins is widely expected to face Roman Reigns and CM Punk in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. While many wonder if it will be the main event, Rollins isn’t concerned.

“I don’t think it’s terribly important where it sits on the card,” he said. “Because to be honest with you, just look at the names in that match—it’s a main event. It doesn’t really matter where it sits.”

He pointed to classic non-main-event matches like Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat and The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan, emphasizing that a legendary performance is what truly matters.

“My goal is to steal the show,” Rollins said.

As WrestleMania 41 approaches and Lynch continues her Hollywood run, Rollins remains focused on delivering in and out of the ring.

Visit Front Office Sports to read the full interview, including plenty of football talk and Rollins’ love of the NFL’s Chicago Bears.

Bill Goldberg: ‘I’ll Always Be a WCW Guy’ to WWE

0

Bill Goldberg may be a WWE Hall of Famer withh several runs with the company to his name, but he is still a WCW guy at heart. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Goldberg looked back at his role in the Monday Night Wars.

“I’ll always be a WCW guy… Look at how they treated Sting. We were going head-to-head [during the Monday Night Wars]. We were kicking their ass, they were kicking our ass.”

Goldberg compared the battle which came to an end in March 2001 as akin to “a big heavyweight fight” and reiterated that WWE was “the enemy” at the time. With WCW well and truly in the past, however, Goldberg is looking to the future and his retirement match that’ll come in a WWE ring.

“Paul [Triple H] and I spoke, and we came to an agreement that in 2025, I’d have my retirement match. Don’t know when it is, don’t know who it’s against, but it’s happening.”

Goldberg would make an immediate impression upon his arrival in WCW and would rack up 173 consecutive wins, though this number is disputed by some. Goldberg would also capture the WCW World Heavyweight and United States Championships, becoming the only man to hold both titles simultaneously.

While his career may be coming to an end, Goldberg’s loyalty to WCW remains strong. Even as he prepares to step foot for the last time in the ring of the ‘enemy,’ his legacy will always be tied to the company that made him a star.

The match, held at City Hall Plaza Aore Nagaoka in Niigata, Japan, was a closely contested bout that lasted 27 minutes. Finlay’s victory marks his first New Japan Cup title, and it earns him a shot at the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hirooki Goto at NJPW Sakura Genesis on April 6th.

Chris Bey Grateful To TNA Wrestling & CM Punk On Road to Recovery

0

On the Insight podcast, TNA’s Chris Bey opened up on his severe injury and the support he’s received since October 2024. Bey opened up on speaking with WWE Superstar CM Punk after his surgery as Chris struggled with the slim odds he’d ever walk again.

“It was very simple conversation where he said something along the lines of, I think that diagnosis and that percentage applies to humans and you’re not human.”

Despite being given a 10-25% chance of walking again, Bey has already beaten those odds with a video of his steps going viral. During Raw’s debut on Netflix in January 2025, Punk name-dropped Bey and dedicated his performance to the TNA star.

“I was surprised. I was humbled, grateful. I just can’t believe that through doing what I wanted to do all my life and actually being able to be successful at it, I’ve made this much of a mark on people.”

Punk has kept in contact with Bey as have those with TNA Wrestling. In addition to his tag-team partner Ace Austin, Bey is regularly visited by those from the company.

“From the roster to the talent, behind the scenes, people who set up the building and management, presidents of the company, people from Anthem, everybody from top to bottom has been so helpful and have checked on me.”

TNA has also covered all medical expenses for Bey, a huge relief for the former X-Division and World Tag Team Champion. A ‘Beynefit’ is scheduled for this month that will include talent from TNA Wrestling and AEW. WWE is lending Karrion Kross for the event in a special contribution given Bey’s connection to the former NXT Champion.

“I saw him online when I first researched the school, and he was their champion… he’s such an integral part of my career… I wouldn’t want to have the show without him.”

The wrestling world has come together to support Chris, proving that tribalism falls away when a talent needs help. We here at SEScoops are continuing to wish Chris Bey the absolute best on his recovery.

‘Nothing’s Impossible’ – Chris Bey Talks In-Ring Return After Injury

0

TNA Wrestling’s Chris Bey suffered a severe injury in October 2024, one that has kept him out of the ring ever since. On the Insight podcast, Bey recalled being shown an x-ray of his neck before the surgery.

“The conversation was more so about what they thought recovery looked like, what it typically is in this scenario, and what they anticipated would be my result… For me, they were predicting about a 10 to 25% chance of walking again.”

The day after the surgery, Bey was grateful to be alive and repeatedly told himself that this was ‘day one’ of a long journey. Despite the odds, and a dark 48 hours after the surgery, Bey realized the importance of putting his chances into perspective.

“I’ve had a less percent chance of becoming a professional wrestler and landing on TV. I’ve had a lot less odds with everything that I’ve done in my life up until this point.”

Bey has been making slow but steady progress and a recent video shared that he is now able to stand up and take steps. Speaking about the video below. Bey said it took ” a lot of therapy, a lot of mental will, lot of days” for him to come to this point. When asked about wrestling again, Bey admitted that he was sure his career was over.

“The day after the surgery, I was very content and understanding that my career was over. I didn’t see a world where I came back to wrestling.”

Now though, Bey isn’t as sure his career is over for good. With the ability to walk once again his and having seen other returns, he knows not to count out an in-ring comeback entirely.

“Never say never, right?… It’s possible. It’s been done before. Nothing’s impossible.”

For the time being, Bey’s focus remains on his recovery and regaining his fine motor skills. With a wealth of support around him, the former TNA X-Division Champion is ready to do whatever it takes, even if it means it’s years before he’s seen in a wrestling ring again.

Chris Bey Shares The Exact Moment Of Paralyzing Injury

0

During an October 2024 taping of TNA iMPACT, Chris Bey suffered a severe injury during a match pitting himself and Ace Austin against Matt & Jeff Hardy. On the Insight podcast, Bey recalled the spot in question and what he experienced in the moment.

“As soon as it goes wrong, you don’t notice what’s wrong, you just know something isn’t right. I felt a jolt. It was a neck breaker. We missed each other, Matt and I, by an inch.”

Bey felt “a little bit of discomfort” and was checked on by referee Daniel Spencer. Speculating that this was a ‘stinger,’ a minor setback Bey has dealt with before, Bey asked for Spencer to help him get out of the ring before a strange feeling kicked in.

“I was numb. It was a weird feeling that I can’t exactly explain, because I’ve never experienced it before. I just know it was kind of a numb feeling.”

A self-professed perfectionist, Bey was more concerned about the match, as he was an artist who’s “brush made a mark I didn’t want.” As the match progressed, Bey realized the seriousness of the injury when his body was failing to react.

“It’s my turn to get back up and do my next spot. So mentally, I roll over and grab the ropes and sell around. Physically, I’m laying there.”

Realising something was off, the teams rushed a finish which was supposed to see Jeff hit a Swanton Bomb for the win. Though Bey knew how to take the move and was willing his body to brace for an impact, his body once again failed to move. Bey yelled to the ref to tell Jeff not to do the move. Informed, Hardy hit a leg-drop, giving an arch so Bey was safe, to get the win.

Bey was rushed to a nearby hospital as the feeling in his body continued to wane. As he waited in immense pain for a surgeon, Bey knew things were very bad when he saw his gear in the corner.

“I saw my tights and my knee pads and my boots neatly stacked next to me uncut and I never felt them take any article of clothing off of me.”

Bey would undergo surgery and has been working on his recovery ever since in a testament to his dedication and the human spirit. As questions remain about his future in wrestling, Bey’s tale is a grim reminder that even the most common of moves, a neckbreaker, can turn disastrous in the ring.

We here at SEScoops are continuing to wish Chris the absolute best on his recovery.

President Logan Paul? WWE Star Teases Race To The White House

0

For better or worse, Logan Paul is able to get people talking with there being countless fans and critics of the former United States Champion. Now, WWE’s resident ‘Maverick’ is taking his goals out of the ring and all the way to the White House.

On his latest Vlog, Paul listened to a podcast which discussed the current state of politics in the United States. Paul discussed his new show ‘Paul American’ before teasing a potential political run.

“We’re living the modern American Dream. Two kids who picked up a cell phone and had access to the internet, made a whole life and career for themselves and maybe one day, we could use our skills in running the greatest country in the world. Paul 2040.”

While shocking, Paul would hardly be the first name in wrestling to enter politics. Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs currently serves as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Though he identifies as a Libertarian, he ran and won on the Republican ticket. WWE Hall of Famer Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura ran as an indpendent in the 1990s and made it to being the Governor of Minnesota.

With 15 years before Paul’s potential election, the WWE Superstar has plenty of time to prep for his journey to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. While the idea of the social media star one day leading the U.S. may seem farcical, stranger things continue to happen, both in pro wrestling and the political ring.

‘I Don’t Like Him’ – Dirty Dom Takes On ‘Old & Beat Up’ CM Punk

0

Dominik Mysterio has been at odds with CM Punk since the Best in the World’s shocking return to WWE in November 2023. Speaking on Treasure Hunting with Moses The Jeweler, Mysterio shared his issue with Punk.

“He’s old and beat up. If I keep going, I’ll get in trouble because I don’t like CM Punk.”

Mysterio said that there was someone off camera to “keep me in line” and prevent him from going hard on the former WWE Champion. Despite the threat of getting in trouble, Mysterio ended with an emphatic message: “F*** CM Punk.”

‘Dirty Dom’ was Punk’s first opponent in WWE after his return with Punk getting the win at WWE’s MSG event on Boxing Day 2023. Mere days later, Punk again got the victory, this time at a December 30, live event in Inglewood, California. While it’s been over a year since the pair last competed in singles action, the pair remain at one another’s throats on social media.

image 19

Punk is currently engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns with all three men set for the March 21, SmackDown from Bologna, Italy. As for Mysterio, his attempts to recruit a new member to the Judgment Day have put him at odds with Finn Balor. With Dom costing Balor his Intercontinental Title match on the March 17, edition of WWE Raw, it remains to be seen what their issues mean for the future of the Judgment Day.

Homicide Announces In-Ring Retirement After Cyst Is Found On Brain

0

One of wrestling’s most respected talents is stepping away from the ring. Taking to Facebook, former Ring of Honor World Champion Homicide delivered the emotional message to fans that his career is ending due to a cyst being found on his brain. Homicide was sad to say goodbye “not just to a job, but to my passion, the sport of pro wrestling.”

The cyst was found at a doctor’s appointment and has been an issue for Homicide for some time. The situation has only grown worst due to wrestling as Homicide explained that “My vision, speech are bad [because of the] hard hits, getting knocked out, and then hopping on a plane to travel.”

Homicide’s final match will come on March 20, at the Outlaw Wrestling event in Brooklyn, New York. Homicide will team with Bull James against Mike Santana and Afa Jr., a match he personally selected for his farewell. Addressing his final match, Homicide shared that “I want people to party and smile—except for Afa Jr.”

Homicide has been a staple in the wrestling world for decades with his battles in ROH against the likes of Bryan Danielson and Steve Corino being the stuff of history. Outside ROH, Homicide is known for his time as part of TNA Wrestling with LAX.

The wrestling veteran ended his somber Facebook post on a positive note, sharing that this isn’t a full goodbye to pro wrestling, but rather a “see you later.” While Homicide’s in-ring career will be over soon, his legacy will last forever in the industry he loves.

Update On Tyson Kidd & Potential In-Ring Return

0

A devastating neck injury would bring an end to Tyson Kidd’s wrestling career in 2015 and the former Tag Team Champion today works as a producer. Now, close to a decade after that unfortunate Muscle Buster, talk has resumed about a potential return to the ring.

On Sunday, March 23, Future Stars of Wrestling will host the ‘Beynefit for Bey’ in Las Vegas, a benefit for TNA’s Chris Bey who suffered a severe neck injury in October 2024. Speaking to Fightful, FSW owner Joe DeFalco shared how early plans could have seen Kidd in action.

Rey Mysterio was going to work the show, which was crazy to me. He wanted to work. He was trying to tag team with TJ Wilson [Kidd], who hasn’t wrestled in forever.”

Kidd told DeFalco that he wouldn’t do any high-flying moves and keep to the mat to avoid aggrevating his neck. Kidd pitched for a tag-team match main event, pitting himself and Rey against Dominik Mysterio and Karrion Kross.

Unfortunately, WWE’s ongoing tour of Europe “put the kibosh” on plans for this match as Kidd and other WWE names are pre-occupied. DeFalco even shared that CM Punk wanted to be a part of the ‘beynefit’ but WWE commitments have prevented that.

Bey was talking to CM Punk yesterday and Punk was like, ‘If we weren’t on this tour, I would have worked the show.”

Despite this, the show will see WWE involvement as Karrion Kross will be in action against former TNA talent Hammerstone. AEW will be represented by Brian Cage, Swerve Strickland, Ricochet, and others, while TNA representatives will include Frankie Kazarian, The Rascalz, and more.

The fact that it was his WWE commitments, and not his injury, that sunk Kidd’s in-ring return is certainly notable. With several names returning from career ‘ending’ injuries including Bryan Danielson, Cope, and Saraya, one can’t count out the impossible for Tyson Kidd.

Joe Hendry WWE Role Confirmed For WrestleMania Week

Talent already confirmed include Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Tiffany Stratton, and LA Knight. WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson have also been announced.

News of Hendry’s appearance at the WWE World At WrestleMania comes at an interesting time for the TNA World Champion. Fans believe Hendry will be on the March 24, WWE Raw, where he will seemingly be the mystery partner of Jey Uso. The show will take place in Hendry’s native Scotland, and Joe will be in Glasgow that same day as part of a pre-announced concert after Raw.

Hendry’s role this April highlights the ongoing multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling. With the Scottish star set to make a splash at a WWE event yet again, there’ll be plenty of fans ready to believe in Joe Hendry at the WWE World At WrestleMania convention.

Mayhem Unfolds in AEW World Title Street Fight

The no-holds-barred showdown between Moxley and Cope delivered a wild brawl that spilled throughout the arena. The two competitors fought in the backstage area, down hallways, and even into the crowd, using a variety of weapons, including a guitar, a trash can, and a kendo stick.

Cope took control at points, delivering a suplex on the floor and hammering Moxley with the remnants of the LED board. The match escalated when Cope attempted to put Moxley through the announce table, only for Moxley to counter with a devastating Paradigm Shift.

Chaos and Interference Define the Final Moments

As the fight continued, Cope introduced a spike into the match, driving it into Moxley’s back. Just as Cope seemed poised for victory, Wheeler Yuta intervened, setting off a chain reaction of outside interference. Claudio Castagnoli and PAC joined in on Moxley’s behalf, but FTR arrived to even the odds. Cope managed to rally, delivering a spear through a table, but interference continued as Marina Shafir attacked Cope, only to be neutralized by Willow Nightingale.

The bout finally ended when Nick Wayne hit his Wayne’s World finisher on Cope, allowing Moxley to lock in a chokehold. Cope fought but ultimately passed out, giving Moxley the victory and keeping the AEW World Championship around his waist.

Saraya: I’m Coming To The End Very Soon

0

Saraya has been absent from AEW television since October 2024, but when she does return to television, the AEW star plans to continue to give back to the industry.

Saraya has previously stated that her AEW contract will expire in September. Her most recent victory was against Nyla Rose on an August 2024 episode of AEW Rampage.

In an interview with Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated, Saraya addressed her current absence and future plans. The former AEW Women’s Champion admitted she doesn’t have much longer in the ring.

“I’m letting people beat me, left, right and center. I was on a losing streak, but I just wanted people to get their rub,” Saraya said. “I want to uplift everybody. I’m not gonna be in wrestling forever. I’m coming to the end of it and it’s very soon. And I don’t wanna go out being like, I need to be on top,” she said.

Saraya’s book is scheduled for release on March 25th. The timeline for her return to television remains uncertain.

The AEW Dynasty event will feature Kenny Omega defending his championship.

Following Kenny Omega’s AEW Revolution victory over Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship, Tony Khan announced the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament.

The tournament’s purpose was to establish Omega’s challenger at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event. Advancing to the finals after winning their respective first-round matches were “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Davis.

During the March 19th episode, Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Trent Davis, and Orange Cassidy competed in a high-stakes four-way match, with the victor earning a title shot against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty.

The match was a fast-paced, back-and-forth affair, culminating in a simultaneous pinfall by Bailey and Ricochet on Davis. The referee, acknowledging the double pin, declared that both Bailey and Ricochet would challenge Omega for the championship.

The commentary team subsequently announced that Kenny Omega would defend his championship against Mike Bailey and Ricochet at AEW Dynasty.

AEW’s Dynasty event will return for its second year on April 6, 2025, at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This marks the promotion’s inaugural pay-per-view event in the state of Pennsylvania.

Bianca Belair Shares Her Painful Tattoo Removal Journey

WWE Superstar Bianca Belair has taken to social media to document her ongoing tattoo removal process, sharing the painful experience with her followers. In candid posts on her Instagram story, Belair revealed she’s removing a tattoo featuring cupcakes and stars that she got during her college years.

“Tattoo removals hurt worse. Than getting a tattoo. I regret ever getting this stupid tattoo,” Belair wrote in her post. She humorously added, “I don’t even like cupcakes or stars… I hate you 3am Houston Texas tattoo parlor lol. Young and dumb in college.”

In a follow-up post, Belair confessed that this was actually her second removal session, but with an unexpected timeline.

“This is my 2nd session. Youre suppose to do them 7 weeks apart…. I did my 1st session 1.5 years ago and it hurt so bad that I never came back until now ?”

The revelation that Belair waited a year and a half between sessions—despite the recommended seven-week interval—highlights just how painful the removal process has been for the wrestling star.

Bianca Belair, whose real name is Bianca Blair Crawford, has come a long way since her college days. Before becoming a WWE superstar, she was a track and field athlete at the University of Tennessee, where she was an All-SEC and All-American in the hurdles. This suggests her time in Houston, where she got the regrettable tattoo, may have been during a competition or visit during her collegiate athletic career.

Since joining WWE in 2016, Belair has become one of the company’s most prominent stars. She has held both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships and made history alongside Sasha Banks as the first Black women to main event WrestleMania.
