According to sources close to Brooke via TMZ, she asked to be removed from her father’s will back in 2023. The reason? Brooke reportedly did not trust those in Hulk Hogan’s inner circle, fearing potential legal and financial complications. One source told TMZ that “She didn’t trust a single person around him.”

Brooke’s concern for her father was said to be solely on his well-being, not his wealth. Brooke and Hulk often clashed over who he allowed into his personal and financial life before she requested to be removed from his will, the report adds. Though Brooke is heartbroken at this time, she is at peace with her decision, as one source said:

“She’s never been about money. She won’t be getting anything—and she’s totally okay with that.”

Brooke will still receive a modest sum from a separate life insurance trust Hulk had established, which she plans to use for her children’s college savings—a choice that reflects her focus on family over fortune.

The WWE’s tribute to the late, great Hulk Hogan is set to continue on the July 28th episode of Monday Night Raw. Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, has been spotted backstage at the event in Detroit, Michigan.

Hulk Hogan, Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71. The company began its tribute to the icon on this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

The official Instagram page for Real American Beer, a brand co-founded by Hulk Hogan, posted a photo on Monday afternoon. The picture showed Nick Hogan backstage at Raw, posing with WWE star Jey Uso and business partners Chad Bronstein and Chris Volo.

This marks Nick’s first public appearance since he released a heartfelt and emotional statement about his father’s passing on Sunday. In that statement, he called his father his “best friend and hero.”

It is incredibly fitting that WWE’s Raw tribute to Hulk Hogan is taking place in Detroit. The city was the site of arguably the single most important and iconic moment of his entire career.

On March 29, 1987, in the Detroit suburb of Pontiac, Hulk Hogan faced Andre the Giant in the main event of WrestleMania III. In front of a record-setting crowd at the Pontiac Silverdome, Hogan did the impossible by bodyslamming the undefeated giant. That moment, “the bodyslam heard ’round the world,” cemented Hulkamania as a global phenomenon and created the most enduring image in wrestling history.

A Company-Wide Tribute

Last Friday’s episode of SmackDown served as the first part of WWE’s tribute. The show featured a ten-bell salute, moving video packages highlighting his life and career, and in-person appearances from legends and close friends like Jimmy Hart and Ted DiBiase.

The report states that Rhodes had talks with the film’s production team and was requested to read for an unspecified role. However, scheduling conflicts ultimately prevented it from becoming a real possibility. It is not known how serious the talks were beyond the initial request.

While a role for Rhodes didn’t work out, the film does feature several other stars from the wrestling world. AEW’s MJF has a featured role in the movie, while WWE’s Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella both make cameo appearances. The filming schedule was reportedly an extensive one, requiring talents like MJF to take months off from television to complete the project.

While a role in Happy Gilmore 2 was not in the cards, Cody Rhodes is currently preparing for one of the biggest moments of his career. This coming weekend at the two-night SummerSlam premium live event, “The American Nightmare” is scheduled to challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Street Fight.

With SummerSlam just days away, The Miz seized the opportunity to pitch himself as Logan Paul’s new tag team partner.

“Drew McIntyre is landlocked in the UK and might not be able to make it to work at SummerSlam… I’m not landlocked, and Logan Paul needs a partner,” The Miz stated in his Instagram promo.

The A-Lister didn’t stop there, delivering an extended pitch that highlighted his role in bringing Logan Paul to WWE and dismissed the need for any other replacement options.

“Who was the person who brought Logan Paul into WWE? So Drew, don’t call one of your friends to replace you. There is no replacement. The Miz and Logan Paul vs Jelly Roll and Randy Orton at SummerSlam. That’s it. I’m done waiting.”

The pairing would reunite The Miz and Logan Paul, who previously teamed together at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 for Paul’s WWE debut before facing each other later that year at SummerSlam. With The Miz currently without a match on the SummerSlam card and his established chemistry with celebrity talent, he presents a logical replacement option.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 takes place August 2-3 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The company has yet to announce any official changes to the McIntyre and Paul vs. Orton and Jelly Roll tag team match, but with the event approaching rapidly, a decision may need to be made soon.
