Roman Reigns Slams Seth Rollins And CM Punk: ‘They’re Both Pieces Of S**t’

0

At WWE WrestleMania 41, the main event of night one will feature a triple threat match between Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. In a recent build-up video posted by WWE on YouTube, Reigns asserted his negative feelings towards his opponents.

The Tribal Chief didn’t hold back on his feelings regarding both stars. He stated, “They’re both pieces of shit. There ain’t no f***ing question this place is better when I’m in charge.”

Interestingly, Rollins and CM Punk had a singles match on the January 6, 2014, edition of Raw, which Rollins won. This remains their only official one-on-one encounter in WWE.

They were originally scheduled to compete for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL before Punk sustained an injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble event.

Adding another layer to the narrative, Reigns also took to social media on Monday to reflect on his position within WWE, stating how he should have maintained a tighter grip on the company’s control around the same time last year.

Seth Rollins to The Rock: ‘My Soul’s Always For Sale’

0

Seth Rollins has succeeded in WWE as both a babyface and a heel but has been a good guy for over two years. Now though, the Architect could be ready to embrace his darker side, and align with The Rock in the process.

While speaking on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rollins was asked about potentially aligning with The Rock and John Cena. Declaring that “My soul’s always for sale,” Rollins shared that he will align with whoever can help WWE the most, even if it’s somebody the fans cann’t stand.

“If I look at the situation and it seems to me that the best course of action for the company as a whole is to join with people that maybe the audience doesn’t want me to join with, I will make the decision based on how I feel is the best direction for the company.”

Rollins’ comments are very interesting given that a year ago, he and The Rock were on opposing sides at WrestleMania 40. While it was The Rock and Roman Reigns who bested Rollins and Cody Rhodes, Rollins would play a crucial role in the OTC’s reign as Undisputed WWE Champion coming to an end.

Seth Rollins will headline WrestleMania for the third time in his career this weekend where he’ll battle CM Punk and Roman Reigns. And while Rollins is ready to tear the head off The Rock’s cousin, fans shouldn’t count out the Visionary selling his soul to the Final Boss.

Natalya Reveals First WWE Salary

0

Natalya has revealed how much money she made in her first WWE contract.

The former SmackDown women’s champion recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. She talked about things such as helping Nikki Bella train for her Royal Rumble return, working with her dad Jim Neidhart on Total Divas, and more.

During the interview, Natalya also talked about her struggles before signing with WWE. The Hart Family member made her in-ring debut in 2000 and worked in countries such as England and Japan for many years before finally being signed to a development contract by WWE in 2007.

The female star revealed that she worked as a waitress for a long time before getting her big break. Citing her own experience in the public service industry, the WWE veteran said that everyone who works such jobs deserves a round of applause:

“I was so excited because I had worked that waitressing job, I cleaned bathrooms, I busted tables, and I did my wrestling when I wasn’t working at that job, and I just fought so hard to get here.

I always remembered how much I actually enjoyed waitressing. I think everybody that does public service or works in the service industry, like I give them a round of applause, because you guys, whoever works in restaurants or retail or has to serve people, it is not easy.”

It Was About Getting My Foot In The Door: Natalya

Natalya was assigned to Deep South Wrestling after signing a development deal with the company. She has been a regular on the main roster since being called up to SmackDown in 2008. Apart from winning multiple titles in WWE, she has also contributed to many people’s career as trainer in the Hart Dungeon since then.

During the interview, the wrestling veteran revealed that she has saved the stub for every check she has received from the Endeavor-owned company. She also disclosed how much money she was making very early in her WWE career:

“I was only making in my first year in WWE $500 a week. So of course that’s not terrible by any means, when you’re just getting started, but when you have to pay for ring gear and your hair and your makeup, and you have to pay taxes on that. In some ways it was less money than I was making as a waitress. But for me, it was about getting my foot in the door.”

Natalya will be stepping out of her comfort zone when she competes in the NWA Crockett Cup during WrestleMania 41 week, having her first non-WWE match in years. You can check out what she said about the bout here.

Top WWE Superstars Without a Match at WrestleMania 41

0

WWE’s biggest show of the year is just days away, and several top stars are absent from the card. WWE has announced a few matches over the past couple days, and the card is not finalized yet, but here are the 9 top stars currently left off the show:

Randy Orton was originally scheduled to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41, but those plans changed when Owens announced he needed neck surgery. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis informed Orton that he wouldn’t have a match at WrestleMania, which prompted Orton to deliver an RKO to Aldis. On this week’s SmackDown, Orton told Aldis he’ll be at WrestleMania, he’s bringing his gear and he’s looking for a fight.

Chelsea Green is surprisingly absent despite being the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion. Green has been on the rise since returning to WWE in 2023 and has gained significant fan support. Despite her championship status and growing popularity, she doesn’t have a spot at WrestleMania 41.

Sami Zayn has been off WWE television since Elimination Chamber due to a storyline attack from Kevin Owens. With Owens now out with a legitimate injury, Zayn almost certainly won’t be included in any match, leaving him with limited options for WrestleMania 41.

Solo Sikoa had his most successful year on the main roster in 2024, creating the new Bloodline and main-eventing multiple Premium Live Events. However, he has taken a backseat since his loss to Roman Reigns on Raw’s debut episode on Netflix. Sikoa mixed it up with Randy Orton on SmackDown, and may be a late selection as the Viper’s opponent.

Sheamus has proven himself to be one of WWE’s most reliable workers and fan favorites. He has been chasing the Intercontinental Championship since 2022, but WWE opted for Bron Breakker to defend his title against others instead.

Alexa Bliss made a groundbreaking return at this year’s Royal Rumble to one of the biggest reactions of all time. WWE planted seeds for her to join The Wyatt Six, but her sudden disappearance after Elimination Chamber has left her without a match.

Carmelo Hayes, despite being SmackDown’s first-round draft pick last year and a former NXT Champion, doesn’t have a match at WrestleMania 41. His expectations haven’t aligned with reality despite proving himself in the ring, including a recent match with Randy Orton.

Nia Jax had a fantastic year but appears to be off the WrestleMania 41 card. After holding her title for 153 days, she lost it when Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract. Since then, Jax has hardly been on weekly television.

Chad Gable announced his quest to discover the ways of Lucha Libre after losing to Penta on Raw in mid-January but has not done anything significant since. He does not have a WrestleMania match announced or even planned. El Grande Americano is booked, but not Gable? Seriously? Come on!

WrestleMania 41 takes place Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 from Las Vegas.

WWE and Topps Launch WrestleMania and Debut Patch Card Programs

0

WWE and Topps have announced two new match-used memorabilia programs as part of their ongoing trading card collaboration: the WrestleMania Patch and Main Roster Debut Patch.

Beginning with WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, each participating superstar will wear a commemorative patch during the event. These patches will later be featured as one-of-one cards in a future Topps WWE set. Starting April 21 on WWE Raw, debuting talents will wear a Main Roster Debut Patch, also included in upcoming trading card releases.

IMG 9800

According to Fanatics SVP of product Clay Luraschi, the initiative is designed to deepen storytelling within WWE collectibles. “WrestleMania is the pinnacle. It should be celebrated, archived in time. If we can be a part of that storytelling, it just feeds the passion of the fan,” he said.

Each card will feature an autograph and be authenticated by Fanatics, following the model used in Topps’ successful MLB and MLS debut patch programs. While MLB and soccer patches are worn on jerseys, WWE patches will primarily appear on boots.

The WrestleMania and debut patch programs follow the massive success of the MLB Rookie Debut Patch Autos, including Paul Skenes’ card, which sold for $1.1 million—making it the most valuable modern baseball card sold in the last three years.

While WrestleMania patches will likely be more abundant, debut patches carry long-term potential depending on a wrestler’s future trajectory. “If that superstar turns out to be the next Rock or Cena, then that card can be one of the most high-profile in all of WWE trading cards,” Luraschi noted.

Randy Orton on WWE Comeback: ‘I Was Told I Might Not Wrestle Again’

0

After over a year away from the ring, Randy Orton has opened up about the intense physical and emotional journey that led to his return at WWE Survivor Series 2023. In a recent interview with Complex, the 14-time world champion shared how close he came to retirement and how critical the support of family and friends was in helping him make a comeback.

Told He Might Never Wrestle Again

Orton revealed the true extent of his back injury, noting that several doctors advised him to walk away from wrestling altogether.

“There was a point where I was being told, ‘You might not be able to do this again,’” Orton said. “When you hear that after doing something for over 20 years, it hits you hard. I didn’t know what my future looked like.”

He admitted that the uncertainty took a toll mentally, but stepping away gave him a new appreciation for the career he’s built.

“Being away reminded me how much I love this. I don’t take it for granted anymore.”

A New Perspective and Style

Having returned to WWE with a new outlook, Orton acknowledged that his in-ring style has evolved out of necessity. He now focuses on longevity over spectacle.

“I’ve changed how I work. I’m not taking unnecessary risks. I want to be here for a while. I want to be able to walk when I’m 50. I’m smarter now.”

This approach reflects not just physical adjustments but a broader shift in mindset shaped by his time away.

Emotional Support from Family and Kevin Owens

Throughout his recovery, Orton credited his wife for keeping him grounded and focused.

“My wife was my rock. She told me to focus on healing and not worry about anything else. That gave me the space I needed to recover fully.”

He also highlighted the consistent support from fellow WWE star Kevin Owens.

“Kevin Owens was texting me weekly—sometimes more. Just checking in. That meant the world to me. It reminded me that I wasn’t alone in this, and that helped more than he knows.”

Cody Rhodes was another peer who reached out regularly, offering encouragement that helped keep Orton mentally connected to the business.

Now back in the spotlight and competing on his own terms, Randy Orton is embracing this chapter with gratitude, resilience, and a renewed focus on his legacy in WWE.

Seth Rollins: CM Punk Took Money From A Billionaire’s Kid And Tried To Tear Down WWE

0

Seth Rollins is slated to work a triple threat match with CM Punk and Roman Reigns in the main event at WrestleMania 41 on Saturday night. The build to this match started with a feud that dates back over a year between Rollins and Punk before an injury derailed WrestleMania XL plans for Punk to challenge Rollins for the World Title.

Now, the reality behind fiction and fact is more blurred than ever. While being interviewed for Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rollins was asked who he hates more between his opponents. He named Punk.

“That pales in comparison to how I feel about CM Punk,” Rollins Said. “This is a guy who is a thief. He’s a scavenger, he’s a fake martyr, he’s a snakeoil salesman, he’s a con artist. He will sell you a false bill of goods at every turn with no apologies, with zero responsibility. He’s a guy who left this place, ghosted all of his friends. If you have your own personal crap to deal with, that’s life, I get it.”

Rollins took a dig at AEW President Tony Khan, calling him “That Billionaire’s Kid” and said nobody disgusts him like Punk.

“To then ask people to leave their jobs, leave their security, leave their dreams behind out of loyalty to you, and when they don’t, you start to tear these people down in the media anyway you can.

Then you take money from some billionaire’s kid to come back to the business that you’ve forsaken and continue to try to tear down our company until that billionaire’s kid doesn’t want to pay you anymore, and now you want to come back and take our money and wave the flag. I cannot tell you the absolute disgust in my veins that I have for CM Punk. There is no comparison.”

Rollins is referencing Punk’s time in AEW, which began when he returned to wrestling in August 2021. After a backstage altercation with Jack Perry, Punk was fired in 2023.

Brian Cage Returns to Training Following Knee Surgery

0

Brian Cage has resumed gym training after recently undergoing knee surgery.

The AEW star had been out of action for several weeks, with his last match taking place on the March 19 episode of AEW Collision. His injury was initially revealed by The Wrestling Observer, and later referenced on the April 9 episode of AEW Dynamite when Don Callis noted that the Don Callis Family would be seeking new members due to injuries to both Cage and Mark Davis.

In a series of Instagram stories, Cage confirmed his knee procedure by showing off his post-surgery wound. He also revealed that while he had been working out with a brace prior to surgery, he has now officially returned to the gym post-op.

As of now, no official timeline has been given for Cage’s in-ring return.

Kevin Owens Getting Second Opinion On Neck Injury

0

Kevin Owens is getting a second opinion on his neck injury.

The wrestling veteran announced that he’ll be stepping away from active competition due to a neck injury during the April 4 SmackDown. Owens also withdrew from his WrestleMania match against former tag partner Randy Orton.

The Viper opened up about his former partner’s injury in a new interview with Complex. Orton noted that KO is paying the price of putting his body on the line for people’s entertainment:

“If we’re being real here, my heart breaks for Kevin, I think, first and foremost, I just hate that he’s gotta go through that.

Even more than a physical journey he’s gotta go on to let his body heal, it’s a mental journey too. His body’s been through it, and now he’s paying that price, like he said in the ring the other day. We all pay the price at one point or another.”

The article noted that Randy has set up Owens to get a second opinion from the surgeon who helped him recover from his own back injury that almost ended his career recently.

The Legend Killer who had to step away from action in 2022 due to his long-standing back issues, was told that he’d have to get a surgery that would end his wrestling career:

“There wasn’t a lot of help other than surgery, and I think that when I finally was told that it was time to hang up the boots–this is about six months before my operation–my world ended.”

Though, Randy Orton was determined to find an alternate solution despite battling depression over the potential choice. He was able to consult with Dr. Adam Kanter in California, who helped him get the surgery without cutting muscle in his core. This has allowed him to continue his illustrious career after a lengthy recovery.

The severity of Owens’ injury is unknown, and it’s hoped that he’ll be back in the ring. One thing is sure that he’ll have a lengthy recovery process either way. Meeting with Orton’s surgeon will hopefully make the process easier for the former champion.

Ridge Holland Addresses Fan Demands for WWE to Fire Him Over Big E Injury

0

Ridge Holland has spoken out following renewed backlash over the 2022 accident that left Big E with a serious neck injury. During a recent response on social media, Holland dismissed a fan’s demand for his firing, saying continued criticism only proves he’s “living rent-free” in the fan’s head.

The incident occurred on the March 11, 2022 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, when Big E and Kofi Kingston faced Ridge Holland and Sheamus. While brawling outside the ring, Holland attempted a belly-to-belly suplex, resulting in Big E landing on his head and suffering a broken neck. The former WWE Champion has not returned to in-ring competition since.

Holland previously acknowledged the emotional aftermath of the accident, telling Metro that it affected his confidence and his standing with peers. Despite the criticism, he has continued working to regain trust and move forward.

Big E’s Stance on the Incident

Big E, for his part, has made it clear that he doesn’t blame Holland for the injury. He’s emphasized in multiple interviews that accidents are a part of wrestling and that Holland has expressed sincere remorse multiple times. Big E added that he’s had to endure enough since the incident, and doesn’t want it incident to become an “albatross” hanging over Holland’s career.

Shortly after the injury occurred, Big E stated on the MMA Hour podcast,

“We’re good, man. Things happen. It’s a part of what we sign up for. It’s not something I ever would have wanted, but it happened. Me hating him or holding a grudge doesn’t help me at all.”

In an interview with ESPN, Big E confirmed that Holland reached out to him after the incident:

“I have no issue whatsoever with Ridge. He’s reached out and said some very kind things. What we do is dangerous, and there are inherent dangers. And to that degree, we all kind of know what we sign up for, and it was unfortunate that it went down that way.”

WWE and Fanatics Launch Cody Rhodes Podcast ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About’

0

WWE and Fanatics have announced a new podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About, hosted by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The show, sponsored by Wheatley American Vodka, will premiere later this month with new episodes released biweekly across all audio platforms and WWE’s YouTube channel.

The podcast will feature Rhodes in one-on-one conversations with WWE Superstars and Legends, offering behind-the-scenes insights, personal stories, and pivotal career moments—all while enjoying cocktails made with Wheatley Vodka. The brand, produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery, is the Official Vodka of WWE.

What Do You Wanna Talk About expands on Rhodes’ original digital series, which debuted in July 2024 and included appearances by stars such as Randy Orton and Bianca Belair. That project saw Rhodes traveling in a Wheatley-branded tour bus, conducting interviews along the way.

This new launch comes as part of WWE’s broader podcast initiative under its growing partnership with Fanatics. In March, Fanatics was confirmed as the producer and distributor for all WWE podcasts. The collaboration has already led to the rollout of The Raw Recap Show, hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts, and will soon include a post-Premium Live Event reaction show debuting after WrestleMania 41.

The WWE-Fanatics partnership, which began in 2022, continues to expand beyond digital content. It includes e-commerce, live event merchandise, and major fan experiences such as WWE World, set to return during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas from April 17 to April 21.

0

All Elite Wrestling has filed two new trademarks with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

Filed on April 14, the applications include “AEW Summer Blockbuster” and “Paragon.” The latter name is linked to the faction featuring Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong.

According to the filings, both trademarks are intended for use across a variety of entertainment services, including live professional wrestling events, television programming, and wrestler appearances.

“AEW Summer Blockbuster” appears positioned as a potential event title, while “Paragon” solidifies branding for the trio’s on-screen identity.

Mariah May Expected to Leave AEW, WWE Believed to Be Her Next Destination

0

Former AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May is believed to be parting ways with AEW to join WWE. Reports recently emerged that her contract is likely to expire this summer and she might not sign a new deal. May also recently dropped a cryptic message on social media and the photo tagged in Orlando, Florida, the city with WWE operations and it fueled speculation about her potential move to WWE.

Last year at AEW All In London, Mariah May captured the Women’s Championship for the first time in her career during her rivalry with her former mentor Toni Storm. However, after a reign of 174 days, May dropped the title back to Storm at Grand Slam Australia. Their rivalry culminated at AEW Revolution as Storm retained her title. Since then, Mariah May hasn’t made any appearances and it is speculated that she could be leaving the promotion soon.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio highlighted the cryptic social media post from May and added that there is a belief in WWE that the former Women’s Champion wants to go there. Dave Meltzer said:

”She has a photo of Orlando, Florida. I know from people in WWE they know she wants to go there. I think people saw that cryptic thing. I don’t know when her contract is up, everyone seems to think it’s this summer that’s it up.”

Bryan Alvarez agreed and said:

“I was given the impression it’s a two-year deal that she signed originally, so you can do the math. I have heard the same thing that at least in AEW, there’s a belief she’s heading to WWE.”

AEW President Tony Khan has a reputation of writing talents off programming if they are willing to leave the promotion. In this case, it’s speculated that Mariah May could be the one to exit and that’s why she is not participating in the Owen Hart tournament.

Over the past few years, a handful of AEW stars have departed the company before joining WWE. Most recently, Ricky Starks, Penta and Rey Fenix have inked a deal with WWE. Now, there is a huge possibility that Mariah May could be next.

Hulk Hogan Takes Credit For Inventing Wrestling Theme Songs

0

Entrance music is an iconic staple of pro wrestling, from the glass shattering to signify the arrival of Steve Austin to Cody Rhodes’ beloved theme from Downstait. Now, fans who relish hearing entrance themes know they have Hulk Hogan to thank, at least according to the Hulkster himself.

Speaking on the Try That In A Small Town podcast, Hogan took credit for innovating entrance music in pro wrestling. Hogan’s original theme, none other than the iconic track from Rocky, ‘Eye of the Tiger.’

“I went to the sound guy, I said ‘to hell with this. Eye of the Tiger, crank it up!’ I gave him five hundred bucks.”

Seeing the thunderous response the fans gave to hearing Hogan enter to the track, the Hulkster took the suggestion of entrance music to Vince McMahon. Not long, everybody in WWE and the wider wrestling world wanted to get in on the music action.

“Vince picked up on it real quick and it just took off. And then everybody wanted entrance music so Jimmy Hart sat up all night writing entrance music.”

Hogan may take credit for inventing the idea of wrestling entrance music, but like many of his claims, this one doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. In the 1940s and 1950s, Georgeous George would arrive to Pomp & Circumstance, a track later used for ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. The Fabulous Freebirds would also use music in the southern territories, while in the WWWF, Sgt. Slaughter would use the Marine Corp Hymn before Hogan became the megastar he is.

While an argument can be made that Hogan popularized entrance music in the mainstream, he was by no means the first. And given the frosty reception Hogan received during Raw’s debut on Netflix, it may be a long time before fans here ‘Real American’ in a WWE setting.

Shawn Michaels On Why He ‘Had’ To Induct Triple H Into WWE Hall of Fame

0

The WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony will be the latest celebration of wrestling legends and mark the second induction of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. In an unprecedented moment, Levesque will become the first inductee to be honored for his role as a singles star second, with his first induction coming as part of DX in 2019.

Shawn Michaels will be on-hand to induct WWE’s Chief Content Officer. Taking to X with his trademark HBK sarcasm, Michaels shared how he was ‘coerced’ into inducting the Game.

While Michaels and Triple H make sense ad an inductor-inductee duo, some of this year’s picks have raised some eyebrows. Many believe that The Undertaker is the wrong choice to induct Michelle McCool, with fans arguing that Layla would be a more apt choice. Lex Luger had hoped that Sting would be the one to indcut him, but as Sting remains under contract with AEW, ‘Diamond’ Dallas Page will do the honors instead.

Despite these criticisms, the WWE Hall of Fame will be an epic event, set to take place this Friday, April 18, at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas.

Bear Bronson Speaks Out: ‘Forgotten and Ignored’ After Tag Partner’s Arrest

0

Former AEW star Bear Boulder was arrested in January 2025 following claims of domestic battery by strangulation and the promotion terminated his contract. This brought an end to his tag-team with Bear Bronson who recently addressed how this situation has affected his career.

On X, Bronson shared that it feels like he’s being forced to pay for the actions of another man and admitted to feeling “forgotten and ignored.” Despite this, Bronson is determined to do the best he can and appreciates the support from his family, fans, and others.

Bronson’s openness about his situation sparked a lot of comments with many saying they’re rooting for Bronson and believe his ‘time’ will come. When one fan suggested that Bronson find a new tag team partner though, Bronson rejected the idea with a simple but poignant “No.”

Bronson has competed just six times since Boulder’s arrest, according to date provided by Profight. As for Boulder, who saw the case against him dismissed in March, he has not wrestled since the January 2025 arrest, raising questions about his future in the wrestling industry.

As for Bronson, he’s clearly feeling that a situation that has nothing to do with him has greatly affected his career in the ring. It remains to be seen where his journey in wrestling will go next as the situation with his former tag team partner continues to loom over him.

Karrion Kross Shrugss Off Raw Loss: I Get To Wake Up Next To Scarlett

0

On the April 14, edition of WWE Raw, Karrion Kross lost to AJ Styles in a brutal match between the two. Speaking after the match, the former NXT Champion lamented his defeat in his first match on Monday Night Raw since July of 2024.

I got a shot tonight, first time on Netflix, and I lost. I’m also not on WrestleMania in my home of Las Vegas.”

Despite his disappointment, Kross tried to look on the positive side of things. Along his many things he can look forward to, Kross celebrated being able to spend ‘quality time’ with his wife.

I got some other things to be happy about. Like tomorrow morning I’m gonna wake up next to a naked Scarlett Bordeaux. I mean, that’s great.”

Focusing back on the match, Kross shared that he’s also pleased to see a “sliver” of the AJ Styles that the Phenomenal One needs to show if he wants to beat Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. Concluding, Kross encouraged Styles to embrace a darker side to himself, not just for his match with Paul, but beyond.

“AJ, do what needs to be done tomorrow. Do what needs to be done the next day and the day after that, after that, until you get to Mania and then moving forward.”

Kross has been trying to brink a darker side out of Styles and his match on Raw was a masterclass in mindgames. As noted on commentary, Kross donned tights designed by the same person who creates AJ’s gear. Late into the match, Kross smiled as he realized Styles was setting up for a Phenomenal Forearm. Rather than dodge the move, Kross put his arms behind his back to take the hit.

It remains to be seen if Styles stands tall at WrestleMania, and if he does, whether it’ll be down to Kross’ mental games. Nevertheless, Karrion Kross was pleased with what he saw from Styles, despite taking the loss on Raw to the former WWE Champion.

Seth Rollins Stands Tall As Roman Reigns Snaps on Paul Heyman

0

The April 14, edition of WWE Raw served as the go-home episode of the red brand before WrestleMania 41, giving talent one last chance to build momentum. In the closing moments of Raw, it was Seth Rollins who stood tall in a explosive segment including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman.

Punk approached Heyman backstage, noting that his best friend looked stressed moments before Roman Reigns pulled up. Instead of addressing his Wise Man, Reigns walked to the ring, leaving Heyman to try and catch up. In front of the Sacramento crowd, Reigns said that the fans in California would never betray the OTC, unlike some, a pointed line aimed at Heyman. When Reigns asked Heyman why he betrayed him, this earned a “you f***ed up” chant from the fans.

Heyman was booed as he tried to defend his actions, saying he hasn’t betrayed Reigns but is paying back a favor that he owed to CM Punk. Roman then said that he’s the only one getting screwed over in this favor and that he doesn’t need favors but takes what he wants.

Seth Rollins was out next and said that the winner of this triple threat match will define the future of WWE. Though Rollins claimed that WWE will die if CM Punk is able to win, this only made fans chant for CM Punk even more. Rollins argued that favors are a choice, claiming that Heyman can choose not to give Seth his favor back after sparing his life last week.

Tired of talking, Reigns clotheslined Rollins and sent him out of the ring before shoving Heyman to the mat, a shocking moment that brought out CM Punk. Reigns and Punk brawled before Punk clotheslined the OTC over the top rope, but when Punk checked on Heyman, this gave Reigns the chance to recover and spear him.

Reigns delivered a beatdown to Punk before being struck in the back with a chair by Rollins in an homage to the chair shot that started off this whole thing back in 2014. Rollins nailed a stomp to Punk and Reigns to send a final definitive message, and it’ll be the Architect who walks into WrestleMania 41 with the momentum.

Ryan Nemeth’s AEW/CM Punk Lawsuit Moves To Arbitration

0

Ryan Nemeth’s legal battle with AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk is officially heading to arbitration. According to a new statement from Nemeth’s attorney, the ongoing lawsuit will take place behind closed dooes. Nemeth’s lawyer, Mike Caspino, confirmed to POST Wrestling:

“There has been no settlement. The parties have agreed to submit the matter to arbitration.”

Nemeth originally filed the lawsuit in February, claiming that Khan and Punk (real name Phil Brooks,) conspired to freeze him out of the wrestling business. Khan reportedly blamed Nemeth for his decision to terminate Brooks in September 2023, an act that would lead to CM Punk’s return to WWE that November.

The lawsuit also staterd that AEW officials removed Nemeth from a booking, seemingly at the request of Punk following an encounter between the two. AEW responded by seeking to seal Nemeth’s contract and compel arbitration. Their argument centered on the claim that publicizing contract terms could cause “irreparable harm” to the company’s competitive interests.

Nemeth last appeared for AEW in 2023 and more recently has been making waves in TNA Wrestling. Nemeth can be seen alongside his brother Nic and the latter recently turned heel after losing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Karrion Kross Brings Back ‘Dead Silent’ Theme For WWE Raw Match

0

Karrion Kross and Scarlett made their presence felt on the April 14th episode of WWE Raw by bringing back his ominous “Fall and Pray” entrance theme. While Kross’s entrance wasn’t aired during the live broadcast, WWE’s social media platforms shared the visual spectacle online. He battled AJ Styles in a singles match on the show.

This theme holds significance as it was the one Kross used during his initial impactful debut in NXT in 2020 before he transitioned to “The End Is Near” as part of the Final Testament faction.

Commentary from Michael Cole shed light on the change, stating that Kross specifically requested the return of his “Dead Silent” theme. This decision was driven by Kross’s desire to recapture the essence of his earlier and more dominant persona, aiming to “reestablish himself as the killer he once was.”

This singles match on Raw was Kross’s first since July 2024, signaling a potential shift in his character and direction within WWE, perhaps marking the start of a relaunch. Kross does not have a match lined up for WrestleMania 41, while Styles is scheduled to meet Logan Paul in a singles match.

Shawn Michaels Addresses Booking Several Multi-Person Matches At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver

0

This year’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver event will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The headliner is expected to be a triple threat match for the WWE NXT Championship featuring Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans.

Other top bouts include a Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship between Stephanie Vaquer vs. GIULIA vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker, and a Ladder Match for the vacant WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship.

While appearing on the Bobby Bones Show, head of WWE NXT creative Shawn Michaels was asked if a standout performance at NXT Stand & Deliver could expedite a talent’s move to the main roster.

“Absolutely, Stand & Deliver, much like WrestleMania, you can turn your career around in one match and one moment. Even when it comes to bonuses, those are things that, especially from an NXT standpoint, we have a lot of multi-person matches at Stand & Deliver. A lot of people don’t like that, but these young men and women work throughout the entire year. Not all of them get an opportunity to be on PLEs and those televisions that are on the road, which we’ve been doing more of lately. We want to give as many people as we can an opportunity to perform on the biggest weekend. That’s the reason people get into this line of work. To have that experience to have those moments. We’re hoping we have a lot of standouts come Stand & Deliver. It’s something we definitely keep an eye on and anytime there is a performance or somebody goes above and beyond, whether it’s in a match or throughout the entire year, we try to take care of them as much as possible,” said Michaels.

NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom, and NXT North American Champion Ricky Starks, will also defend their titles at the show against competitors soon to be announced.
