AEW Announces Big Change To Dynamite And Collision Schedule

0

AEW has announced another significant change to its upcoming television schedule, revealing that next week’s broadcast on Wednesday, October 15, will be a special, three-hour combination of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision.

The announcement, which was made during this week’s “Title Tuesday” special, confirms that the show will serve as the official go-home broadcast for the WrestleDream pay-per-view on Saturday, October 18. The move is the latest in a series of programming shifts and extended episodes that AEW has presented in 2025.

The three-hour special will air live from Kansas City, Missouri, starting at the usual Dynamite time slot of 8:00 PM Eastern. In addition to next week’s change, AEW also revealed that they will be taping both Dynamite and Collision on Wednesday nights for the remainder of the month, with combined tapings scheduled for October 22 in San Antonio, Texas, and October 29 in Edinburg, Texas. The next live Saturday night edition of AEW Collision will not take place until November 8 in Houston, Texas.

This scheduling change continues a trend for AEW in the first year of its new multi-year media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. The company has frequently experimented with its programming format, including a four-hour “Summer Blockbuster” special in June and several two-and-a-half-hour episodes for events like the Dynamite anniversary show and this week’s “Title Tuesday.”

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Debuts In AEW

0

Another former WWE superstar has made their debut in AEW. On the special “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite on October 7, Lacey Lane, formerly known in WWE as Kayden Carter, made her surprise first appearance for the company. The former champion answered an open challenge from the reigning AEW TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone, immediately inserting herself into the championship picture in the AEW women’s division.

While Lane was ultimately unsuccessful in her bid to dethrone “The CEO” and capture the TBS Championship, her impressive performance made a strong statement. This was her first official match for All Elite Wrestling, though she has competed for the company’s sister promotion, Ring of Honor, since becoming a free agent. Lane and her long-time tag team partner, Katana Chance, were released from their WWE contracts earlier this year.

During their time in WWE, the duo was highly decorated, holding the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships for a lengthy 186-day reign. After being called up to the main roster, they also captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the company.

It’s unclear whether she has signed a full-time deal with AEW.

The Hardy Boyz Win NXT Tag Team Championships At ShowDown

0

The Hardy Boyz have once again cemented their legacy in professional wrestling history. On the special “NXT vs. TNA Showdown” episode of WWE NXT, Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated the NXT Tag Team Champions, DarkState (Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin), in a champion vs. champion bout.

The victory means The Hardys are now the TNA World and NXT Tag Team Champions, a historic moment in the ongoing crossover between the two promotions. This is the first time the legendary duo has ever held the NXT Tag Team Championships, adding another prestigious accolade to their already Hall of Fame-worthy careers.

The historic match kicked off the highly anticipated ShowDown event. The Hardys were accompanied to the ringside area by their legendary rivals, The Dudley Boyz (Team 3D), and TNA President Carlos Silva. Before the bell could even ring, all four members of the DarkState faction ambushed The Hardys, but the veteran team fought them off to officially start the match.

After a hard-fought battle that saw Jeff Hardy make a hot tag to his brother after a spectacular Whisper in the Wind, the tide turned in their favor. Matt Hardy delivered a series of Twists of Fate to both members of DarkState, setting up Jeff to hit a decisive Swanton Bomb for the pinfall victory.

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux Return to MLW After 3-Year Absence

0

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are making their long-awaited return to Major League Wrestling after a three-year absence. The power couple will appear at the MLW x DON GATO LIVE SPECIAL on November 20, 2025, at the Charleston Music Hall in Charleston.

The announcement came via a cryptic video shown at MLW’s recent Slaughterhouse event, declaring “The Toll Has Come Due.” The ominous message signals that Kross and Bordeaux are bringing their signature intensity back to the promotion.

Kross, known for his ruthless and precise in-ring style, has established himself as one of wrestling’s most dangerous competitors. Scarlett Bordeaux complements his menacing presence with her own blend of seduction and danger, creating one of professional wrestling’s most captivating partnerships.

MLW has promoted their return with the tagline “Together, they bring chaos back to Major League Wrestling,” leaving fans to speculate about potential targets and storylines. The teaser question—”who will pay the toll this time?”—suggests the duo has unfinished business in the promotion.

Tickets for the Charleston event start at just $10 and are available through MLWGo.com and Ticketmaster. The event is presented by Don Gato Tequila.

Tony Khan Names Jon Moxley As ‘The Most Consistent Presence’ In AEW’s History

0

AEW President Tony Khan has offered incredibly high praise for Jon Moxley, calling the former multi-time world champion one of the most important and consistent stars in the company’s history. Since his shocking debut at the inaugural AEW pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, in 2019, Moxley has been a cornerstone of the promotion, serving as a main event attraction, a workhorse champion, and a respected locker room leader.

Speaking with 3NT Wrestling, the AEW President gave high praise for Moxley’s contributions to All Elite Wrestling over the past six years.

“Jon Moxley, since day one, has been one of the most important stars in AEW. But backstage, Jon Moxley’s also — as you’ve correctly assessed — one of the most important people backstage in AEW. Everybody in AEW has so much respect for Jon Moxley. He arrived in AEW as a huge star. And since we started AEW, he’s been the most consistent presence on the show week in, week out on all of our shows.
Jon Moxley works so hard. He’s a phenomenal wrestler. He’s a phenomenal leader. He’s a genius about pro wrestling. And Jon Moxley’s one of my favorite people I’ve ever gotten to work with. And I’m really, really proud that Jon Moxley is in AEW. I think he was a fantastic World Champion time after time after time in AEW. Everything he’s done in this company has been to the benefit of AEW. And Jon Moxley’s a phenomenal, phenomenal wrestler.”

A three-time former AEW World Champion, Moxley is currently the leader of the Death Riders faction. He is scheduled to be in action on tonight’s special “Title Tuesday” episode of AEW Dynamite, where he will go one-on-one with the legendary Tomohiro Ishii.

WWE Star Signs New Multi-Year Contract

0

A new report from Fightful has revealed that Xavier Woods, a key member of The New Day and one of WWE’s most popular superstars, has signed a new multi-year contract extension to remain with the company.

According to the report, Woods’s previous contract was set to expire in September, and the negotiations for a new deal reportedly “went down to the wire” before an agreement was reached. Woods, along with his New Day partners Kofi Kingston and Big E, signed five-year contracts with WWE in December 2019.

However, Woods’s deal was likely extended due to the time he missed in 2020 after suffering a severe Achilles tendon rupture, which pushed his contract’s expiration date to this past month.A veteran of the industry, Woods has been with WWE since the summer of 2010.

Before joining the company, he had a successful run in TNA Wrestling from 2008 to 2010 under the name Consequences Creed, where he held the promotion’s tag team championships with Jay Lethal. He also had a brief tour with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2010.

Kevin Nash Blasts TKO for “Rotten” WWE Royalty Changes

0

Kevin Nash was less than pleased to see his recent royalties coming in and touched on how much of a shift he’s seen in that regard since Endeavor bought WWE in 2023.

On his podcast Kliq This, Nash was speaking to his co-host Sean Oliver about a conversation that the former previously had with his WWE Hall of Fame peer Sean Waltman also known as X-Pac. Nash mentioned that he was chatting with Waltman for one of their weekly calls and the latter laughed on the phone mentioning that obviously ‘Big Daddy Cool’ had received his recent round of royalties.

In responding to Waltman and then touching on how he had seen the signs of a shift in the wake of TKO’s takeover of everything, Nash said:

“I said, ‘Holy f**k.’ I said, ‘The last one was good… this one was rotten.’ I mean, it was half… When I was making huge money in my royalties, it was broken down. It would say ‘nWo t-shirts’, ‘nWo women’s t-shirts’. Now it says ‘nWo intellectual property’ and there’s just a number.”

“It got weird when they sold. It started when they sold, all of a sudden… the weirdness starts.”

Kevin Nash continues to expound upon his thoughts on recent TKO royalties

Kevin Nash is not the only one noticing a change of the times with the major paradigm shift in WWE since merging with UFC under the TKO umbrella. It is a multi-pronged situation with many consumers also noticing seemingly ever growing price points with being a WWE fan. This comes across both in terms of wanting to attend live events but also for those watching the product at home.

To revisit the Nash point, the former WWE and WCW champion said he could ultimately speak only to his situation but stated that the recent shift in royalty amounts is to the scale of several millions of dollars. Nash also pontificated on what the difference in that sense would be for figures like The Rock or Steve Austin who, per Nash, command greater percentages of their merchandising royalties and the like.

Kevin Nash did mention in a cursory way that he brielfy had the idea of involving forensic accountaunts for the purposes of a lawsuit. But after his co-host Oliver mentioned Nash was a TKO shareholder, the former NWO member mentioned that while his long time friend Paul Levesque was in charge that Nash would simply roll along with whatever is happening with TKO considering his connection to Triple H.

Chris Jericho On His Next Move: “We’ll Just Have To See”

0

AEW star and wrestling legend Chris Jericho is keeping his future plans close to the vest. The former AEW World Champion, whose contract with the company is reportedly set to expire at the end of this year, has been the subject of intense speculation regarding a potential return to WWE. While he has been on hiatus from AEW television since April, he has not been silent on the matter, and his latest comments continue to fuel the intrigue surrounding his next career move.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio to celebrate the 35th anniversary of his in-ring debut, Jericho was asked to name his top five career moments. After listing four, he intentionally left the fifth spot open, explaining that his focus is always on what is next.

“That’s the way I always think of it. ‘What’s your favorite moment of your career?’ Current, now. If I didn’t think it was the best, then why am I doing it? You always want to say that your next match and next show will be your best one. That’s the way you should look at things. We leave the space blank and we’ll see what happens.”

When pressed further about what his future holds, his answer was simple and cryptic.

“We don’t know, right? We’ll just have to see.”

Jeff Jarrett Shares If Bret Hart Was Ever Close To Joining TNA

0

Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart has worked in many promotions over his career, but he never had a role in TNA Wrestling. That’s despite the fact that TNA was, for a period of time, TNA was the biggest competition in North America to WWE, a promotion Hart resented for a long time due to the Montreal Screwjob.

On his My World podcast, TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett discussed Hart, sharing that there were moves made to bring Hart to the ‘Impact Zone.’ While others in TNA hoped the Hitman would join, Jarrett always suspected that Hart wasn’t ready to commit to a role with TNA.

“When I heard [WWE] advertise Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels coming together [in 2010]… my gut was right all along—he never wanted to commit to us.

Anytime talks got serious, something would arise to ruin those plans, Jarrett added. According to double-J, Hart’s goal was always a WWE comeback, despite the post-Montreal tension.

“He always had hope and optimism that he was going to go back to WWE and everything was going to be all right.

Had Hart joined TNA rather than returned to WWE in 2010, Jarrett would not have used him as an in-ring talent. Instead, Hart would have served in a mentor role, likely replacing Ric Flair as a mentor to AJ Styles.

“I think it would’ve been perfect for AJ to have Bret somewhat as his manager. Probably would have fit more than having Ric Flair as his manager.”

Bret Hart returned to WWE instead, and has made sporadic appearances for the company ever since. Nevertheless, the fact that many in TNA wanted him on board highlights the immense credentials of the first-ever three-time WWE Hall of Famer.

Bronson Reed Confirms Why WWE Merchandise Was Pulled

0

Bronson Reed has made a habit of stealing Roman Reigns’ shoes, so much so that he has been christened the ‘Tribal Thief’ on WWE TV. Earlier this year, a shirt based on this gimmick was released, but was pulled, edited, and re-released shortly after.

The original design featured the ‘Tribal Thief’ label as well as a shoe that bore a striking resemblance to Nike’s Jordan sneakers. While speaking on the Battleground podcast, Reed explained how this image forced WWE to temporarily pull the shirt.

“There was some copyright infringement stuff that made them remove the shoes, which is fair enough, I get it.

The shirt was subsequently re-released, albeit with the image of the shoe removed. On the podcast, Reed shared that he had originally intended for a generic shoe to be used on the shirt, and hopes to one day see the shirt released as he’d first imagined.

With or without merch, Reed has proven to be a thorn in the side of the OTC. While Reigns was victorious at Clash in Paris, Reed dismantled the Tribal Chief after the match. Reigns recently returned to WWE programming, hungry for payback on the Australian.

Reed and Reigns will collide in an ‘Australian Street Fight’ at Crown Jewel: Perth, with thousands of Bronson’s fellow Australians cheering him on. With Reed signing a new contract with WWE, fans can expect plenty more from him in the years to come.

John Cena: I Wish CM Punk “Didn’t Have To Take All That Time Off Because We Could Have Had Some More Matches”

0

John Cena has reflected on his iconic rivalry with CM Punk, explaining that what made their chemistry so special was a shared desire for the top spot, coupled with a deep and genuine love for the professional wrestling business. In an appearance at Fan Expo Chicago, the 17-time world champion spoke about the dynamic between the two superstars, who, despite their vastly different personalities, shared the same core values and a desire to bring the best out of each other.

Their rivalry, which produced some of the most memorable matches and moments of the modern era, remains a fan favorite, and Cena himself wishes they could have had more time to create magic in the ring.

“A few things. First of all, we both want the same spot. And I also think we both love the same thing. A lot of people that want that front spot, purely want it for selfish reasons. Every once in a while, you get somebody who wants to sit in the front that loves the business, and we love it in different ways, too,” Cena said. “I think we’re such different personalities, but we share a lot of the same core values. So we just want to bring the best out of each other. For some reason, we kind of found each other and found each other at the right time and man, I wish I could have kept him with us. I wish he didn’t have to take all that time off because we could have had some more matches, but I’m grateful for the moments we’ve had. And I think that, I think we just, we both want to sit in front. We both really love the business.”

The rivalry between John Cena and CM Punk defined an era in WWE. Their most famous bout was at Money in the Bank in 2011 and is still regarded as one of the greatest matches in the company’s history. The storyline, which was fueled by Punk’s infamous “Pipebomb” promo, blurred the lines between reality and fiction and made Punk a top star. Their feud continued for several years, producing a series of matches that consistently delivered on both an in-ring and storytelling level.

CM Punk Is Heading To Perth

0

CM Punk has confirmed that he will be making the trip to Perth, Australia, for the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of the Crown Jewel premium live event. In a post to his Instagram story, Punk thanked the fans in Dallas for their support during this past week’s Raw and announced his intention to be at the show next week that will take place in Perth following Crown Jewel.

This past Monday’s Raw saw a verbal confrontation between the three men who most recently challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Punk, who was making his first appearance since his victory at Wrestlepalooza, was interrupted by Knight, who claimed he was the rightful number one contender. Jey Uso then joined the fray, stating that he was still owed a one-on-one rematch for the title. The segment escalated into a brawl that saw Jimmy Uso get involved, and it ultimately led to a tag team main event pitting Punk and Knight against The Usos.

The match was a combustible one, with the makeshift team of Punk and Knight struggling to get on the same page. The finish saw Punk hit Jey Uso with a GTS, but Knight tagged himself in and stole the pinfall victory. The animosity between all four men, and the underlying tension between the recently reunited Usos, has created a volatile situation at the top of the Raw roster. With all of these stars now heading to Perth for Crown Jewel, the go-home episode of Raw is poised to be an explosive one.

The Crown Jewel premium live event, which takes place on Saturday, October 11, from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, will feature several matches. The show is headlined by two champion vs. champion encounters, with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes taking on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer facing WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The card also features the final encounter between John Cena and AJ Styles. CM Punk does not currently have a match scheduled for the event.

Kurt Angle Praises The Rock’s “Smashing Machine” Performance

0

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has given a glowing review of the new film “The Smashing Machine” and, in particular, the performance of his former rival, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. In a post on X, the Olympic Gold Medalist called the movie a “fantastic film that I believe will be considered a classic” and stated that The Rock’s portrayal of MMA legend Mark Kerr has elevated him into the conversation of the “greatest performers today.” Angle’s has a personal history with Mark Kerr, having competed against him for a spot on the Olympic wrestling team.

“Just watched The Smashing Machine. What a fantastic film that I believe will be considered a classic,” Angle wrote. “Mark Kerr was ‘The Guy’ I had to beat to qualify for the Olympic Games, which pushed me to transform into a version of myself I never thought I could be. Your story, beyond wrestling, is truly inspirational, my friend. For Dwayne Johnson to take on such a role and elevate it to another level in his career makes me consider him one of the greatest performers today. Watching Dwayne transform into Mark Kerr through this film was like deja vu…..no words, just applause. This movie deserves an Oscar, and I believe it will receive the recognition it merits. Well done, my brothers.”

“The Smashing Machine” tells the story of Mark Kerr’s rise to stardom in the early days of mixed martial arts, as well as his battles with painkiller addiction and his complex relationship with his wife, Dawn. While the film has received some criticism for its underwhelming opening weekend box office numbers, which were the lowest of The Rock’s career, the performance from the man himself has been met with widespread critical acclaim and has even generated Oscar buzz.

The Rock has stated that he is committed to this new phase of his career, where he is focused on expanding his range as an actor. “In our storytelling world, you can’t control box office results — but what I realized you can control is your performance, and your commitment to completely disappear and go elsewhere,” he wrote in a recent social media post. “And I will always run to that opportunity.”

Bobby Lashley Would Excel in Bare Knuckle, Says BKFC Champ

0

Bobby Lashley has teased an interest in competing for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and a BKFC champion he has some connectivity with has spoken on that. Jessica Borga is the combatant in question and she toiuched on this before her recent battle with Christine Ferea at BKFC 82 for the Queen of Violence championship.

Borga appeared on Bare Knuckle Bowker ahead of that October 4th champ vs. champ clash with BKFC’s flyweight champ and top women’s pound for pound fighter. Bellator MMA was touched upon during the interview with the BKFC featherweight champion with both Lashley and Borga being alumni of the mixed martial arts promotion.

Borga took part in a WWE RAW appearance where she was featured as one of Lashley’s “ladies” circa 2021. Bobby Lashley and even David Feldman have referenced that there is some interest in him fighting for BKFC. When asked what she thinks Lashley’s aptitude for bare knuckle would be, considering his MMA resume previously, Borga said [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],

“Yeah, definitely. I actually saw him I want to say the first Texas event that was just not long ago and I saw him sitting ringside. So I had an idea maybe that might be something he was interested in, but I think he would do great at it.”

AEW star reflects on portraying another lady in the life of Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley has several important women in his life, as portrayed through WWE cannon, and an ex-AEW tag team champion looked back on when he filled the role of Lashley’s sister. The wrestler in question is Max Caster and it turns out he is not necessarily opposed to revisiting that role of Lashley’s sister, even though he may be opposed to revisiting his role as a rapper in AEW.

In an appearance on Hey! (EW), Caster spoke about the sister role he filled in WWE and years later stepping into the AEW ring with Lashley as Caster said:

“I wrestled Bobby here at AEW [RJ: Did he acknowledge it or he was not going to?] No, if he acknowledged it in any way, it was through his aggression with which he spinebustered me.”

“I genuinely am still hurt from that match, so when they say they hurt people, it’s true….No, I mean, look, indie wrestlers, I was an unsigned wrestler at the time.”

“We do a lot of things for money. So it’s like, ‘Okay, would you dress up as a woman and confront a MMA fighter and world champion wrestler?’ Yeah, okay, for 500 bucks, I can be bought for that. At this point, I’d probably still do it.”

Karrion Kross Reveals Weird Backstage Interaction After Famous WrestleMania Promo

0

Karrion Kross has revealed a weird talent relations interaction in WWE.

The former WWE star and his wife, Scarlett, recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. They talked about things such as their contract negotiations before leaving the company, working with Final Testament and more.

During the interview, the former NXT champion also discussed the infamous worked-shoot promo that went viral around the WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Kross revealed some previously unknown details about how the people within the company reacted to the promo, mentioning that someone from talent relations reached out to him the night after:

“I get a phone call from somebody in talent relations, and he says, ‘Creative is not happy. There’s heat. They’re pissed.’

I was like, Well, I apologize about that. Let me go take care of that right now. I have a great relationship with them. They’re right across the hall. He’s like uh, I said, ‘No, no, dude, this is my fault. Let me take care of it. No problem.’”

What’s Going On?: Karrion Kross

Not wanting to be on bad terms with the creative, Karrion Kross talked to writers in person. Things got weird, however, when the writers denied being mad about the whole thing and the wrestling star eventually learned that it was Triple H who was unhappy:

“I go across the hall. I speak to some of the writers, explain everything. They’re like, ‘We have no idea what you’re talking about. We haven’t talked to that guy in two weeks.’ Some of them didn’t even see it. So I was like, What’s going on here?

So I walk around the building and just looking at everything, everyone’s saying, Hello, everything feels fine. I call him back, no answer. The next day, no answer. I think it was like the third day he finally picked up. He’s like, ‘Yeah, I shouldn’t have said it that way. I apologize; it was actually Hunter.’ “

Karrion Kross revealed that the person never spoke to Triple H to clear his standing. The former champion did eventually get to talk to the WWE Executive and cleared the air on the viral promo. According to Kross, The Game understood where he was coming from and was cool about the whole thing.

Hulk Hogan’s Estate Signals Potential Malpractice Lawsuit With Filing

0

Hulk Hogan’s death in July 2025 rocked the wrestling world, but his passing could result in a significant malpractice lawsuit. Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling reports that Hogan’s family have filed a petition in Pinellas County, seeking a 90-day extension of Florida’s statute of limitations to investigate a potential medical malpractice claim.

The filing was made on behalf of Hogan’s widow Sky, his son Nick Bollea, and Hulk’s financial advisor Terry McCoy. The three are representing the estate of Hulk Hogan. Hogan’s other child, Brooke did not receive anything from her father’s estate, though that hasn’t been an issue for her.

The Hogan family has been highly critical of the handling of Hulk’s situation and passing. Brooke claimed that police footage could change the narrative on her father’s death away from what has been shared in public. Sky told TMZ Sports that Hulk’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during a recent surgery. The phrenic nerve stimulates the diaphragm, which controls breathing.

Following his death, several tributes poured in for Hogan, despite his complicated place in wrestling during his final years. More recently, Florida’s Ron DeSantis re-named part of the Clearwater trail in Hogan’s memory.

Hogan’s influence continues to be felt in pro wrestling, with plans in motion for a series of biographies about his life. Now, Hogan’s death could result in a major malpractice lawsuit being filed, and potential changes to the law.

Zoey Stark Receives Baptism With AEW Star’s Support Amid Recovery

0

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark has been baptised in the Christian faith amid her ongoing absence from programming due to injury. On social media, Stark shared footage of her baptism while wearing a shirt saying “I have decided.”

Stark’s video showed that AEW wrestler Brian Cage was at the event alongside his family. In a post of his own, Cage was glad to have been a part of the important day.

Stark and Cage are hardly the only wrestlers to be open about their faith. Shawn Michaels famously became a born-again Christian in the early 2000s ahead of his return to the ring in 2002. Hulk Hogan became born-again in late 2023, in a moment he described as the greatest day of his life. Sting, Kurt Angle, Chad Gable, and The Undertaker have also spoken openly about their faith.

Stark has been out of action since May after suffering a knee injury during a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. The injury happened when she attempted a missile dropkick on Kairi Sane but landed awkwardly, causing her knee to buckle. At the time, it was reported that WWE expects Stark to miss the remainder of 2025.

Zoey Stark has made clear she plans to return to the ring, despite an AI-generated video of her claiming she’s retired. Until that return comes, Stark will continue to work on her recovery, all while exploring her faith.

Maxxine Dupri delivered a star-making performance against Becky Lynch on the October 6, 2025 episode of WWE Raw, live on Netflix. Facing the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Dupri matched Lynch move for move in an intense, technical battle. She endured early punishment, but fought back with athletic counters—a backslide, a knee strike, and a suplex—before applying a Kurt Angle-inspired Ankle Lock that had Lynch scrambling for the ropes.

As Lynch pressed her advantage outside the ring, her arrogance proved costly: she struck Dupri with a massive PRIME bottle, got distracted taunting fans, and was counted out by the referee while Dupri made it back into the ring. With this unlikely countout victory, Dupri earned her first singles win against Lynch, displaying guts, resilience, and execution in a match that raised her profile and stunned the WWE Universe.

Dupri’s win signals her arrival as a real contender in the Raw women’s division and sets the stage for an electrifying feud with Lynch moving forward. Expect Maxxine Dupri’s name to remain in the championship conversation as WWE heads towards Crown Jewel.

Stipulation Added To Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed Match At WWE Crown Jewel

A new, violent stipulation has been added to the highly personal grudge match between Roman Reigns and “Big” Bronson Reed for this Saturday’s WWE Crown Jewel. On the October 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that the two powerhouse superstars will now face each in an Australian Street Fight. The announcement was made during an opening segment that saw the two rivals come face-to-face for the first time since their encounter at Clash in Paris, and it ended with a wild brawl that had to be broken up by security.

The show kicked off with Roman Reigns addressing the WWE Universe, but he was quickly interrupted by Bronson Reed and his advocate, Paul Heyman. Heyman taunted Reigns, reminding him that after their match at Clash in Paris, Reigns was stretchered out of the arena for the first time in his career. Reed then took the microphone and invoked the names of Reigns’s legendary father, Sika, and his uncles, questioning how they would feel about his moment of vulnerability.

The personal insults enraged “The Tribal Chief,” who challenged Reed to a fight right then and there. Paul Heyman stepped in and declared that the match would happen on Reed’s terms, in his home country of Australia, and that it would be an Australian Street Fight. Reigns immediately accepted the challenge, leading to a brawl between the two men that spilled all over the ringside area before officials could separate them.

The Rock Took Significant Pay Cut For “The Smashing Machine”

A new report from Deadline has revealed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took a substantial pay cut for his new A24 drama, “The Smashing Machine,” a project he has been passionate about for years. The news comes as the film, a biopic about former UFC fighter Mark Kerr, experienced the lowest box office debut of Johnson’s illustrious acting career.

The film, which had a production budget of $50 million, grossed only $6 million in its opening weekend, falling well short of its projected range of $8 million to $15 million. According to the Deadline report, Johnson’s compensation for the film was a fraction of his typical asking price, and he even shared a portion of his earnings with his co-star and the man he portrayed.

“[Dwayne] Johnson took a $4M fee, significantly below his historical $20M+ paycheck plus points. Sources say he even gave a portion of his paycheck to Emily Blunt and [Mark] Kerr.”

The film finished third at the weekend box office, behind a new Taylor Swift documentary and the war drama “One Battle After Another.” The $6 million opening was lower than the $8.5 million debut of his 2010 film, “Faster,” making it a new career low for the global superstar. Following the disappointing opening weekend, Johnson took to his Instagram account to post a message to his fans, acknowledging the box office results but remaining proud of the film and the story it told.
